America's Choice Results In James Returning

I actually think things started spinning out of control in Season 6 when there were obvious sides in the house, the "good" vs the "bad" and how much hype that got. It was like the uglier the HGs got, the more ppl started talking.

Shhh... I LOVED season 6

Elle, to add on to that I even said last night in the episode thread that it would help a little if they at least let Ryan place HoH again, but they didn't.

I mean, if you're going to so massively screw over Ryan at least let him fight for HoH.

Xal I will agree with you on that Ryan is getting screwed now with James back in.

I wish that they would stop all the twists. Just put 12 normal people in the house and let them go at it. NO TWISTS in the game. No wanna be actors or porn stars. Just put normal people in there.

Xal I agree they need to be consistent. The many twists this season has not made it a fair playing field for the HG.

It was a waste of time for all of us! Don't have an America's Choice then go back on it.

I know, I'm repeating what everyone else has said, houseguest, if you vote someone out, don't vote them back in RIGHT away!! UGH, just frustrating!

Marty, to what you just said I agree wholeheartedly.

Even though Season 6 started this whole AC, and even though I did like Janelle, Season 6 was still my favorite season. The gameplay in that season was top notch. It felt like Survivor in that people were always scheming behind the scenes and there were solid alliances. There were blowups but nothing over the line. There weren't just a bunch of 20 somethings running around acting like kids.

Even All Stars was pretty good and for the MOST part, BB kept their hand out of it.

I knew though, and lets forget about Dick for the moment (even though I talk about him alot) that once America's Player was allowed into the game, that we were going down a slippery slope.

I can't completely blame CBS and Grodner though. For whatever reason they felt they needed to start doing things like this to raise the ratings so at some point many die hards stopped watching.

The question is, what came first, the chicken or the egg? Did the viewers start leaving leading to CBS taking a bigger part in manipulation, or vice versa?

the only ones to blame is the HG that voted james back in....

i really doubt CBS threw this twist in at the last second, the HGs that was sequestered were paid nicely for them sitting around for the last few weeks.

like the old saying is better the devil you know than the devil you dont know...

most of the HG had it in their head that the "mystery guest" was most likely Evel Dick, james is small potatoes compaired to E.D.(in the HGs eyes)...

and im not a james fan.... really not any one single HG is my favorite this season...

WTF. I am PISSED. What a waste of time, and a waste of a season. I had hope, pure hope that Alex coming back would make things better. But alas, we are stuck with the same horrible people, for the reason of this horrible season. Boo to BB, especially Grodner.

Think about it folks... There is a reason you aren't allowed to see other's hands in poker... That's why there shouldn't be a voice through America... We see things that aren't seen by players in the game and it's just not right, in my opinion, for us to be given that advantage and use it to screw someone we don't like over, or as in the case last season, to help someone we like win...

Now last season I was on the D & D bandwagon and love them both still, but think about it, if the game were allowed to play out like it should have been, Dick would have left instead of Dustin... How fair was it for Dustin in that instance? It wasn't fair, in my opinion...

like i said before i didnt vote at cbs site

but my only gripe is how cbs knowing house was divide gave james side a clear advantage in know who they were getting josh, sharon, chelsia

while the other hg were in the blind

so naturally even thou moronic at it was adam and nat votes ,cbs got what they wanted in that uncertainty allowed them to keep their charity case in the game

I agree UVP... It wasn't fair for the side that would have voted Alex back in if they had known it was Alex they were voting back in... I think in reality this whole "twist" was unfair...

Agree yana. This whole thing sucks. It's sad to see what this season has make BB become. This is terrible. Can we even imagine next season.... I shudder to think about it, and it's fantastic twists.

OMG XaL ~ I agree with everything you said and Season 6 was my favorite also. I just loved listening to Kaysar up in the HOH room talking to all the houseguests and the strategy and thought that went into the game play.

Big Brother has turned the corner and decided to appeal to the trash reality show crowd. JMO

I agree america did get the shaft, while I didn't vote for Alex to come back (I voted Amanda) I think we should have been told the twist sooner. This just stinks!

...and why didn't Ryan get to play in HoH? since his week didn't matter anyway, he should have at least been able to try to save himself, cause we all know he will be the target now.

Another thought why didn't they tell the houseguest before they voted who america chose to come back? I think they should have told them "America has voted Alex back in the house, but now it's up to you houseguest, do you want Alex or James back, vote now". I think that would have been alot more fair, let them decide who they wanted back that way, then maybe we wouldn't have felt as cheated and we would see where they all stood, just a thought.

Also has anyone else noticed they only do this (vote someone back into the house) every 3 years? my son pointed this out to me, season 3 they voted Amy back in, season 6 Kayser, now season 9 James. So if the pattern continues (and if the show makes it that long after this), we should be looking at voting someone back in season 12.

Well, I did not vote at all for who was to get back into the house, I cancelled my After Dark several days ago because I get a great update here, I am just not interested really this year, well I have been watchin the shows, and there is a lot of editing, but of course I get the straight dope here at Morty's.

I do not feel bad for Alex, he is bein well paid to kick back and do nothing, pretty nice work if you can get it. I do not like the trend of the manipulateing of the BB show and game but it is out of our hands, we got no control over it. I agree with Yana and with XAL on their points, but I am in no way upset about who came back in, I put no energy into it at all, not even much mentally so I do ot feel cheated, I agree with XAL they put the screws to Ryan, and James said he felt Sheila was the one to watch out for, so we know who will go on the the block. I cannot stand Chelseia, or Matt or Matalie, as UPV says Nat is a head case, lol Chelseia is really a scuz bucket, well the whole damn house deserve each other, lol, the only thing I secretly was happy for was that Matts "Gangsta Plan" was foiled, I would love to see his ass hit the door and stay gone. If I was James I would so put him up with Natalie next week. Well truth be told I guess I just do not care who wins BB this season cause it sucks, I am with Marty when she says the gross sexual ineuendos that prevail in this house do not do it for me either.

I feel SO F'ing CHEATED!!! OMG how can BB do this to their loyal fans. It was their only chance ot bring a normal sane nice person in the house and instead JAMES was brought back! How unfair to the viewers! And Poor poor Ryan is now screwed as well. Good job CBS keep rigging this show and hopefully it is cancelled soon.

This might have been said already and I didn't see it (I just skimmed the last couple of pages) but CBS made a mistake in my opinion. I have no problem with James being back in the game, and I kind of like his gameplay other than the fact that he spends way too much time in bed during the after dark show.

What I don't like is the fact that the game will be exactly like it was last week. The same alliances will be there. The same moves will be made. Part of the fun of Big Brother for me is watching house guests realize that they need to make changes (alliances and strategies) in order to advance in the game.

I see a lot of posts about how it was going to be a "boys club" in the house. I disagree. Someone whether it was Matt, Ryan, Adam, or whoever would realize that they would need to break away and form a new alliance. Alliances change every week and that make the show watchable. That's not going to happen this week. CBS screwed up.

I would have even tolerated letting the houseguests choose which evicted hg (including James) should be brought back and America's choice being the tie breaker.

I have been a loyal fan since season one but I really could care less this season. This whole season has not been normal and bringing back Alex would not have changed that much, they would have gotten rid of him just like they did Kaysar. Yep This was a bad thing for Ryan and for that I feel for him, I will keep watching of course but in a way it kinda feels good not to have to be torn really hard for any one person, lol

Exactly... they created massive bias towards James by putting up Alex as a "mystery houseguest".

Yana, i see with your point on how America should be left out of BB, and I agree, but if they're going to have situations like that, they need to follow through on what they say. If they wanted to pick one evicted HG to come back, let them all be informed of the possibilities and have something straight up, not this shifty James vs America's Choice (???) business.

Big Brother DESPERATELY needs to get back to its original formula of no twists, just straight up gameplay with interesting HG and letting things happen. Production seems to be sticking their fingers far too much into the game and thats what i dislike.

For those of you that are so frustrated, JUST STOP WATCHING. I'm not watching anymore of this season, i've gotten so sick of it. I'll follow through Morty's but I'm not following it through CBS at all. That is the one way we can affect the future of BB is by voicing our opinion to CBS and acting on our displeasure. Watching the show is effectively saying "hey CBS i agree with what you're putting out there for BB this season and i want more of this!"

Let me say that I stopped watching the Broadcasts a couple of weeks ago because there were too many other shows on that I wanted to watch. I have just been reading the feed updates. Here is my two cents on this issue. The HGs were given a choice and they choose James. I didn't see last week episode just read the summary but I am pretty sure even then that they said "Chance to return to the house". If you assumed that meant they the person you voted for was going back in the house, well you know what they say when you assume. As for how BB did the HG vote...Well I have seen that before. I remember growing up a show called Let's make a Deal. Monty Hall would always ask if you wanted to keep the 500 dollars he just gave you OR take what was behind curtain number 1. 99 percent of the time curtain number one contained a years supply of cat food. I personally think that BB did what was fairest to the people that are currently playing the game. Was it 100 percent fair...no but neither is life.

As for the accusations that BB is rigged. First and foremost BB is a game show which means that there are federal regulations they are required to follow. As much as everyone would like to think that Grodner has already handpicked the winner (and as much as Grodner would love to pick the winner) she can't. I mean seriously do you think if she could pick the winner we would have been subjected to Boogie and Erica or Maggie and Yvette. Last season was the closest BB has ever come to being manipulated and that was directly because of America's Player. That being said, I do believe that Grodner edits things her way.

Now last season I was on the D & D bandwagon and love them both still, but think about it, if the game were allowed to play out like it should have been, Dick would have left instead of Dustin... How fair was it for Dustin in that instance? It wasn't fair, in my opinion...

Yana, Truth be told we have no idea if Dick would have even been nominated that week. Without the hinky votes in prior weeks making people suspicious, things in that house might have gone completely different.

THEY didn't tell the houseguests it was Alex because they knew most of them would think it might be Allison or even Jen (or jacob for sharon)

so their plan of getting James back in the house worked. And what also worked was pissing on all of their remaining fans.
