Smart move...though I never watched Survivor, I'm sure the constestants on the Survivor show are just way too busy to hear April's OCD stories. Perhaps I am uninformed about this illness, but I would think there would be a special risk of April "wigging out". Perhaps I am wrong here. Another concern I would have is that April might serve merely as "entertainment" as we all watch her for her quirky actions. Suppose April focuses on the fact that she is on camera and that her actions are being broadcast (via the Internet) all over the world. Could this cause her to freeze up and become paranoid? Sure, I realize she is an adult and has probably watched the program for several seasons and knows what to expect and everything, but isn't it also true that having an illness like this and living in a house with a lot of stress could trigger a "negative" reaction in her involuntarily? Now I suppose the producers will be alert to this possibility, they monitor the house 24/7. I also think this could leave April vulnerable to having the public mock her for her quirks, instead of being sensitive to her illness? Perhaps I am being overly sensitive here, but many houseguests have talked about how the house (the show) does come with a lot of stress too. Trust me, she is not OCD and if she is on the show she is acting. People with the disease wouldn't really consider a reality show...they are so rapped up with their obsessions and many can barely get to work on time no less make full fledge decisions and sit through interviews. The kind of girl that demands attention & is a bit on the wild side. Kind of like Natalie, but not so sleazy or too freaky but more normal.
