Jeff

Does anyone know if Jeff comes from a certain area of Chicago where their accent tends to be stronger. My husband said he sounds like he may be from Canada and I think about it every time I hear him talking and was curious. I know part of New Jersey the people have the NY accent.

Do you think it depends on where they go to school? I have a little Boston accent but my husband has none and we grew up in the same area.

I think Jeff has that Eastern flair, once you get to Chicago you do notice the accents and that nice little eastern flair attitude, I love it, I have been to Chicago many times, and am planning to take the train up there for a weekend of shopping like very soon. I love to walk up and down Michigan Ave, from one end to the other. I have never been in Chicago in the summer, just the fall, and the dead of winter, but I love winter, so the cold does not bother me. I like Jeffs accent.

I would like for him to win too, but his attitude this week just really turned me off. Hopefully this week will bring him back to earth. Kevin, on the other hand, is really starting to grow on me, but he just has that likeable aura about him anyway. I just wish he would ditch Natalie!

have you been watching feeds tonight? cuz kevin seems slightly infected w/ hoh douchiness syndrome! i guess they pipe it into the hoh air...

I think Jeff really enjoys cooking. He is not intimidated in the kitchen and seems to know his stuff. Not that I do.

It seems he is good... I think I've heard all the hg's at one time or another comment about it.

I will say though if the PoV involves whipping up something in the kitchen... I'm going to finally believe all uvp's conspiracy theories. :giggle:

Kevin is starting to grow on me too . . . . like a wart on the end of my nose.

I am not bothered by his new roughness. The odds of not blowing up in that house are slim. It takes a LOT for my dad to even get a little bit angry but I could see him blowing up at least once in that house.

A quote from the live feed notes:

"Jordan starts another one while pounding on his back saying: "People dying, children crying..."

Jeff freaks out, asking if she's doing some sort of voodoo chant. Jeff really looked freaked out, it was LOL funny. She tries to explain they are sayings her and others would do when she was in elementary school. "People dying, children crying... That's horrible.." Jeff yells at her. He says don't be doing that right before PoV, she needs to do something positive (it's funny to see and hear his reaction, he's so paranoid!)"

What appears as Jeff being paranoid, might be the "athlete" mentality!! Many of them (athletes) are so superstitious that the words "paranoid" and "superstitious" can be interchangeable!!!

He seems to be hitting the bottle after POV. Hopefully he isn't an angry drunk!

He should realize that all hope isn't lost though. He could try to sweet talk Michele and convince Kevin the Jordan is a lot smarter than she puts on (whether it is true or not) and might win if taken to F2. He needs to realize that this is a game you have to play for yourself, and it is time to drop the chica. He also needs to realize that while winning comps is great, it isn't only that in BB. It is also a social game. He should use the fact that he is a pretty boy to his advantage, and maybe even the "no one will vote for me" angle. I lost a lot of respect for him lately, but if he tries to play the game on the social level now, and ends up staying, I would see him as deserving to win the 500 grand.

I think he'll get over it quick. Most athletes know how to win and lose. He'll take the jury house ribbing in good humor. I'm sure the boys will make up soon.

Not worried about Jeff at all for the rest of the game and the rest of his life (as opposed to some of those other unnamed putter heads who got booted or escorted out the door.)

What happened to the key he found earlier today?..............and all the talk about Pandora's box?....................IF there IS a twist & the key opens the "box" (door, whatever?)at the bottom of Pandora's box was "hope":)

**I guess Jordan really does care about Jeff, she's willing to leave in is place because she doesn't want him to have problems in the JH!..............but he wants HER to stay & win.
