If American had not kept him in, he would have been long gone Since Dick doesn't know about AP why shouldn't he be cocky? He's going to have a big surprise when he wins and finds out AP helped him. The wardrobe, the black nail polish and what looks like eye makeup (could be facial tats) reminds me the decade of big hair.
