For someone who is almost 40 years old you would think he would be able to control himself better instead ranting like a freaking lunatic. I think alot of people forget this is a game and a form of entertainment. I don't like the way some people play this game and act while they do, and I also don't like the way some people on this board voice their opinion about those that play the game or those that voice a differing opinion from theirs. Some people take it way to far and make it way to personal. If I have offended anyone here then I am truly sorry. I consider myself mature enough to state an opinion without calling people names or stating their opinion is stupid. We are all entitled to how we think and to share our thoughts with others. If you disagree with me on something please feel free to let me know but please do it in a way that shows we are not going to revert back to the kindergarten years and namecall. I think Howie dug his own grave when he got caught in the lie with George. When they were all in the RR waiting for the Veto Ceremony and George caught him lying about Howie and Janie were the ones that were against him going up for nominations. After that is when Howie really blew it, walking around repeatedly asking if he was staying and saying outloud for everyone to hear "I got the votes" He was calling people out and that made people nervous and so he had to go. Many of his friends, family, and fans feel that he's been robbed of a chance at the big monies. They set up a site to show him how much we appreciate his entertainment, his trust, and humor, by doing a Survivor-2nd vote-Rupert move where the FANS make the choice as to who gets the money. Just by dontating a dollar or ? you can show your appreciation as well! We Love Howie dot com or ?... http://www.welovehowie.com When there you can also purchase a bright blue I (love) Howie wrist band too! It's all good given the amount of fun he's been to Kaysar, to Dr. Will and for us as well. There are more details at the site from his sister as to how this will work! There is also a drawing as to a phone call with Howie as well so it's all good. All in all it's the fans taking back the power that these cruel people took from him, and handing it over to the Jedi Master. If anything the site is cool as the Light Saber on the side will light up as the donations come in. Many of the fans felt he was cheated out of the money and they brought it to the fans to vote the monies to their favorites. All in all it's a tv show and a fun one at that. Howie has a lot of fans that want to show their support of his efforts this season and this is a good way to do it. I personally donate time, monies to all causes as to relief efforts domestically and internationally via Mother Nature disasters, health and eduation of such crisises and I realize there ARE greater needs out there... big time. Then again you have to have your fun to counteract those heavier moments and if we can get Howie into some boxers.. well then I'm all for it. He ended up putting a lot of it into his groups for mentoring boys and helping them out as well. Who's to say what Howie will do with the money, and maybe a portion will go to some charity close to his or his family's heart? Whatever.. it's all in fun. And for this kind of entertainment that I've had, I don't mind paying out a bit more. This show has had it's WEAK points and faults, but still one of the Better seasons ever. If the final votes came down to the viewers, it would be the same thing as to giving him the money or Will or Janie or CG etc and yes they'd get paid for lasting in a somewhat isolated house for 80 days or so bein speculated on by millions. Regardless of the game that Howie played or didn't play, just sharing the site for those that do feel he got cheated badly when there were many others that needed to go as well. Also if anything a chance to show their fan support by grabbing a wrist band before they run out. All in fun and well If I could vote the money to Jack or the OTHER Will I would but that opportunity was never given. I DO feel that the twist at the end of this season WILL be an audience vote to give ANOTHER 500K to someone that deserves it more.. like.. dialing.. 1-800-MOOOSIE !! CBS was giving another player 1 million bucks and all the viewers had to do was vote. I see it as a nice thank you or reward from the fans for over the top entertainment. If they want to donate .. great. If they don't then fine too. I just am glad that Howie got to participate and remind us how fun this show can be. Just wish he went farther and this is a way to show him we believed he could. If he deserved to win he would still be in the game right now. It does explain that they want to present ONE check to him come October 31 so everything will go to one account till then. All very legit and all just in fun to show support. Like it or don't like it, it's for those that DO want to participate or show support of a dynamic character in BB history. Just a big fan of his, Kaysar's, and Janies. His sister and family are doing this for him, so it's very sweet of them to try to show their and our support while he's away till later. It was a site made by the family, and friends of the family and is legit. Both his sister and friend are also members over at the Official site too. They set up the site in just a few days time and kept it basic so to get it out there, so that the word could get around I'm sure. The picture of her there .. that's Ashley. Ashley came over to HowieGordon.com 2 nights before he was even nominated and had a nice chat with about 200 guests or so as to Howie, the family and their take on the season. It all was quite fun and informative, getting information from someone that really knows him. We're looking forward to chatting with Howie after he de-toxifies a bit after the show. Again it's all in fun for those that want to support him in this manner. It's not required or asked of anyone. Just saying it's there if someone does WANT to show support in that manner. Thanks! My sincere apologies to the Moderators, as it's been deleted and did not know that it would be or I wouldn't have done so. It was all in fun for the Howie fans. Not sure what's wrong with their family stepping up to support their son by showing the fans appreciatin by putting out Howie bracelets or offering up a fun place to show support. As to a waste of space, I believe I had every privilage of posting this positive repsonse of support.. unless the Moderators here tell me different, and they deleted it so my apologies to them. Morty's themselves promoted HowieGordon.com on their recap site several times for Big Brother, thus going by example I honestly didn't see the harm in sharing this cute idea and also the chance to get an I love Howie wristband. Given that this is a sister-site by his family for Howie and promoted at HowieGordon.com and also to be listed at the other Reality sites as well, I don't see this as being in the same reallm of promoting 'sites' like a retail outlet etc. The same could be said for promoting You Tube, or Aldav or Jokers, or SurvivorSucks etc.. as they promote financial gain via Ads etc. Quite honestly it was all in fun for the fans and in support of someone we appreciate and felt powerless to help given the way that he went out. I understand the points made but, just didn't expect to be greeted with such negativity on the replies, that's all. Again my apologies for posting that as I believed by past examples it was okay to do so. Next time I will check first!
