  1. I hope it's a good sign that the women didn't want a woman out first. Maybe some of them with form a tight alliance and use the men as their pawns instead of falling into that rut of being some guys +1 for a vote.
  2. Production manipulation has often been discussed on this site over the years. The first night they had the "live diary room" stream, I watched because I thought it would be good to see what a real diary room session was like. I was really disappointed. We know from the HGs talking to each other about DR sessions (and being quickly told to stop) and from a few audio leaks, that production talks to them in the DR. I don't believe reading prepared questions off a screen and giving answers is how real DR sessions go. So, I didn't watch any more of the live DRs. I think production does a lot of manipulating. Their job is to keep the show as interesting as possible. Keeping the two plastics for a least another week keeps the tension in the house.
  3. I don't see why Jason had to do the comp again. If the malfunction happened after he did the comp and his time wasn't affected by it, his time on the comp should have been locked. Then Shelby could have done the comp again the next night and if she beat Jason's time, then it would have been fair.
  4. OTT has only one "produced" show per week. It shows what happened during the week, comps etc. Then right after the produced show they go live to the house for the eviction. So, episode one on 10/05/16 starts it out and then one a week after that. They also have weekday replays that are about 15-20 minutes that show things that happened the previous 24 hours.
  5. Ah, Shelby. I didn't like her. To me, she was just a minion of the horrible Alex. But now she has ruined my low opinion of her and I have to think a bit better about her because, darn it, she is an advocate for the adoption of animals from shelters. Very nice that she included that plug for adoption in her little speech.
  6. If the Plastics continue to get the support of the LF votes, Dani's HOH will be for nothing. She can put up two of the Plastics but if the LF vote puts up one of the LNJ and also gives the care package to either Whitney or Shelby, the outcome can only end up with the LNJ nom going home. This care package gives one side way to much power. Cancelling three votes at this point in the game, when there are only five house guest's voting plus the LF vote, unbalances the whole vote. Can the LF vote be one of the ones cancelled? It's my opinion that the LF voting is giving too much power to people who aren't living in the house.
  7. Today is International Sloth Day. I'm sure the little guy pictured below has a much better personality than Shelby. And I think he is kind of cute, even if a bit scary looking. Shelby, not so much. I haven't had the chance to watch. Who is Kyrssie planning on putting up? I hope Shelby is on the block with Alex. Wouldn't be bad if Scott went up but I think he would take it as a gamer and try to work his connection with Jason and Justin. Shelby and Alex don't really have even a thread of a connection to anyone on the other side.
  8. I agree. If one of them has to go, let it be Shane or Dani. I'd prefer Dani. I think Shane would be able to keep working with the rest of the alliance and even possibly work with the mean girls if needed. I don't think Dani works well with others.
  9. One thing I really like is that all the comps are different than the summer season and not so staged. None of them know what type of comp is coming up like in the summer when they predict each one from knowing previous seasons.
  10. I like Neeley, too. I would like for her to have one of the later care packages (like the eliminate 3 votes) but there is always the possibility she might not be there in two weeks. I'm sure she would really put some thought into which veto to choose and get input from the HGs she trusts so she wouldn't be a bad choice for this package.
  11. There were different size boards making up each full length. Each board had a number in white on one end so there could be two or three (maybe more) numbered boards in each line. I guess most the boards differed only by a very small amount.
  12. I don't like that viewers get to choose either. Social media can have a herd mentality effect and haters will flood the forums against certain HGs causing others to jump on the band wagon.
  13. Paul wanted to be a BB favorite. He desperately tried to tag himself with "your boy" and "friendship", repeating the tags over and over. I'm sure he thought those words would be trending on Twitter. He seemed angry that he never received a care package from the viewers. That didn't play into his wish for the viewers to love him. I'm sure it was really crushing when he wasn't in the top three for AFP. He really believed that the other HGs would think that Nicole did nothing but follow Corey around and ride the coat tails of all the guys she and Corey made deals with. He considered them all too stupid to see the game she actually played. He thought that because he was loud and in everyone's faces all the time that they would decide that he was playing hard 24/7 and deserved the win.
  14. It seemed to me that he first tried to tied to brush off Julie's question and gave the "she's great girl and we will be good friends" answer. Then Julie worded the question a bit differently and he responded with "Oh yeah, possibly. We'll see how things go" which is not really a yes. Didn't really want to commit either way on TV, which is understandable. Still dislike him a lot and I'm really glad he is out of the house.
  15. I often wonder if Nicole puts on the dumb blond act for the show/guys. She is an ER nurse and those nurses are usually quick thinking, decisive people that know how to respond in emergency situations. I have a ton of respect for the people who work in emergency services, they help save so many lives and Nicole would have to be a smart, focused person to work in that field.
  16. I don't watch the feeds a lot and I don't watch After Dark but I think all of the graphic sex talk and other nasty behavior would only be seen there. I have found that for the regular CBS shows, they tend to show most of the HGs in a better light than they really are. I wouldn't think most parents would be letting their young kids watch the feeds or After Dark. Having a morality clause or other restrictions on the HGs would pretty much cancel out the true concept behind BB, seeing how people act and react to be locked up with each other. I think they have already changed some of their concepts in casting after the years that they had uproars over racism and bullying. To me, the cast seems to mostly be made up of bland, twenty something wanna be stars/models. There are few unique, off the wall type personalities like there used to be.
  17. Right now, he seems to be playing the "reasonable guy" for Nic and Corey. He probably knows that getting nasty will get him sent to jury. He's hoping that if noms stay the same, Vic's comp wins and chilly attitude will get him out the door.
  18. Nicole is afraid that Paul is going to verbally attack her, which he probably will. He will not go after Corey in the same way because he knows Corey would not put up with Paul yelling at him.
  19. As soon as someone brings up the possibility that she lied or back stabbed she gets the deer in the headlight's look and her whiny voice goes into super whine.
  20. Really? Could they be any more childish? And it can't really be a blindside because even if they are expecting Natalie to be the one to go, James knows that it could easily be him.
  21. The whole showmance thing has brought the show down. I'm really bored watching people cuddling and groping in bed for hours. It seems like in most of these showmances, the women are always the man's "plus one" for the vote. I often go back and watch some clips of previous years and even the people I didn't like in the season have had so much more to contribute to making the show interesting than any of the people in recent years. I watched a video of Brittney Hayes' DR sessions. She could be so funny...mean but funny. Hell, I even miss old Chill Town and Jesse and the Friendship. It was all so much better than these 20 something wannabes.
  22. Great break down of the whole situation. Even if James slipped and said Natalie wanted to keep Vic, Nicole had made the deal with James and James kept to the deal by voting out Vic, keeping her dumba$$ useless showmance in the game. And if James had sent him packing, he wouldn't have won that jury buy back so he would be sitting in the jury house right now.
  23. I don't think James believes that there will be something after the show. He did the same thing with Meg. I think he just relates better with women and enjoys their company more. In the house, he seems to keep a little distance from the whole "bro" thing. He doesn't join in with all the macho, chest pounding and taking digs at the women. He is probably a great dad with his daughter.
