  1. Oh, yeah. The curse! That could be it! There is no way anyone would pass up the temptation to stop an eviction of their choice.
  2. I'm really disappointed that she is thinking that Paul is her friend.
  3. There is the other twist to the battle back. Julie said the HG's could get a chance to stop their return to the house. Also, I read some where (maybe here?) that the HG's may get to decide if the battle should be mental or physical. So it may not be a sure thing that Cody will be back in the house.
  4. The HG's are aware of a possible battle back comp. Paul and Cody laid the ground work with each other if he comes back with short conversations about respecting each other's game. Paul will need someone who will put the couples in the block for him and who better to have a secret alliance with than Cody who will be out for revenge.
  5. This is the last temptation. Perhaps I am too cynical, but it seems to me that this whole twist was put into the game to keep Paul safe in the first weeks of the game. He get's three weeks of safety, which is huge. Not even in Survivor, where the the immunity idol has changed many games, has anyone ever been given a free pass for almost a quarter of the game. Julie has said that if no one has taken the very first temptation, Paul wouldn't have gone into the game but come on, the odds of at least one of 16 taking 25000 dollars is pretty high. That's a lot of money. So now I have to wonder, who is the most loyal to Paul who will save him with the halting hex if he goes up in the block after his last week of safety? Whoever that is will probably get this temptation.
  6. Paul is still safe this week, unfortunately.
  7. Paul has sown the seeds of distrust and they have taken root. It will be Paul who will point the final finger and seal those hinky votes to two people. Good thing Ramses was the one who received those votes or he would be the number one target.
  8. It's all going to depend on who is HOH for there even to be a possibility of a change from Paul's hit list. This will be his last week of safety and he has the couples, Xmas and Dom's leashes held tightly. They will do whatever he says. So will Josh. Even if Jessica won, she would be so desperate to get back in with the cool kids, she would probably forget about revenge and bow down to Paul's rule. I just don't think any of the others have the guts to try to take down Paul and his sheep.
  9. From the update page: Elena says she's getting light-headed and might faint while washing the dishes. She says she's not used to doing stuff like dishes. She says she doesn't do manual labor. (also whining that the smell was making her nauseous.) Where do they find these people?
  10. Kevin is playing the game and doing a pretty good job of it. The house now believes Ramses took the 25,000. Of course, Ramses is the current victim so it makes it easier for them to justify calling him a snake and shifty. But Kevin is sitting pretty. They all seem to like him. He gets included in game talk and strategy. I don't think any of them believe he is playing the game like he is.
  11. That is horrible. Didn't they do that to the woman who dared to put up their precious Jeff? Scared her family with threats? And I know there have been others, like Maggie who they tried to get fired from her job.
  12. Too often the "fans" go into crazy mode over someone in the show and want to destroy them in the real world. To me, it makes them the crazy ones, not the person from the show that they are trying destroy.
  13. Puffins would be offended by that. If it was a Josh thread it should be Big Baby.
  14. She has more than the numbers against her. She doesn't have anyone at her back. Has she begun to suspect it was Kevin who voted out Jillian? It's slim pickings for her with the HG's who aren't totally in Paul's pocket. Don't know if she could ever trust Jessica or if they could even manage to work together.
  15. Where did the meme of Cody in the candy crush comp "When your Mom makes you get a summer job"? That was so funny.
  16. In that segment that Marty posted, Paul says that Ramses was talking to Cody and Jess and told them that he was going to try to win the POV then he would take himself off and by doing so, Paul wouldn't be able to put Cody up as a replacement. Paul had commanded him not to try to win it and that he would be safe staying on the block. So Ramses went against Paul's command and tried to win. But as Marty said above, Paul has never liked Ramses.
  17. I don't think he was thinking only of himself. It was more like he thought he knew what was best to keep his alliance safe. I think things would have gone a lot different if he had been successful. They would have come around to believing he had made a good move. He also never invited Paul into the alliance. Paul kind of slipped in behind Christmas, hung out giving "advice" and the rest just kind of let him settle in. But Cody didn't talk game in front of him. Barely spoke to him at all. If any of those idiots were observant, they would have seen the cold stare that Cody gave Paul all the time.
  18. They all laughed and and seemed to agree. Elena said something like when can I start being mean to someone. I don't know if Matt and Mark are the types to flat out be nasty to someone. I think they will just try to avoid Ramses as much as possible so they don't seem like they are treating him like a human being, which would upset Paul.
  19. It's similar to insulting someone by calling them the word used for male or female genitals. We all have one or the other, using them for sex is pleasure and they are part of procreation but those words are taken and turned into something nasty or dirty when trying to degrade someone.
  20. Well, there's the real Paul coming out. So Ramses decided not to fall to his knees and pray to Paul, played to win in the veto, save himself and keep Paul from putting Cody up as replacement. Now Paul wants his minions to crush him for a week to punish him for daring to try to play a game that would help himself and not Paul.
  21. I don't get a chance to watch the feeds a lot but every time I have seen her she has said at some point, I'm funny, aren't I? And whoever she says to will reply, yes you are funny. People I have known who are really funny never say they are funny, they just are and need no confirmation from others. She is annoying is what she is.
  22. They are all disregarding the rules that were set up. Suppose to be full frog suit, hopping to move around and staying on lily pads. BB is letitng them do what they want.
  23. I don't see how any of them look at Ramses and see him as a threat to their game. They should be working on getting his trust, using him as a vote and keeping him as a future pawn. He's just floating around right now with no one giving him any sign of wanting to work with him. He's ripe for someone to pull him in and make him feel like he is trusted and needed.
  24. I was thinking the same thing. You would think that the two couples, who seem to have a good connection with each, would be having private talks about how Paul will need to be sitting in the block as soon as possible. They are a huge voting block if they stick together (and continue to include Dominique) and can have a lot of impact on who goes home each week.
  25. I like her but I think she is in a rough spot. Paul knows that she is one of his biggest threats in the game and will be looking to get her out soon. Dom seems to be tied to the couples and doesn't seem to realize that she is the fifth wheel there and for some reason, the two couples don't like Alex. I don't know if it was Jessica who influenced the other two women who then influenced the two men but this leaves Alex with a motley crew to depend on. Jason is an idiot. He may stay loyal to her but that's about all he has to offer. She doesn't trust Ramses and maybe she should because at this point, he is her best option. Josh is weak and will vote with whoever has the power at the time plus he is an emotional mess and hard to deal with. Kevin, who she's trusts, is a total wild card and true floater.
