No I don't think it was scripted. After that show there were a lot of rumors that the show was pre-taped earlier in the day with CBS employees as audience stand-ins. So Denise4925 asked in her post - Is this true? I thought it was a live show with an audience. And I responded - A bunch of folks on this site said we were bamboozled by CBS that night, and I believe we were. There are just so many matching stories of that night and the CBS employees doubling as the live audience that it is hard NOT to believe. That's all. Maybe I created confusion by not deleting the rest of her post when I quoted it? IDK.

I'm confused. The first post was an imaginary scenario created in my head inspired by Slimcruz's post in reference to Amanda's parents in Boca Raton. The second post was about the rumor that on the night that Howard was evicted the eviction was pre-taped earlier in the day with CBS employees standing in as the live audience. I don't know if you remember but that day CBS turned off the feeds early in the afternoon and that helped to support the conspiracy theory that the show was pre-taped.

This is a cool perspective you have painted Slim, one I would not have seen on my own. The older crowd, the friends of Amanda's parents, sitting around, whispering about what a disgrace she is acting like on TV. One of them says - I looked it up, you know online, and I even saw pictures of her with her balloons out! Walking around in a house full of people with cameras on with her balloons right out in the open! What a shame.....and her parents doing their best to avoid the whispers that follows them when they are in their social circles......and dropping eye contact when they go to the supermarket.......the hair salon....etc No I agree - what I am referring to is the rumor that the show was pre taped......and how CBS used the CBS employees as an audience - this was the rumor anyway - I thought that he walked out with his head high

^^^^^ Count me in with both of you guys - especially this part by Monk: I believe that the 'Hate' you are reading is intensified by the very dense cloud of insanely obvious insincerity that travels with her from room to room and from conversation to conversation. So true!

My thoughts exactly - but I've been thinking about the possible order of evictions, and unfortunately I foresee the same scary possibility. Only time will tell though.....

^^^^ Absolutely right Marty! I just couldn't get it all organized in my little head! Helen is talking to Elissa still - and I have never seen anyone as detached as Elissa appears at this moment. It is as if Helen is talking to herself. If she is not on medication than she should be. Suddenly Elissa says - my right foot is longer than my left foot - isn't it funny?

Helen giving Elissa a pep talk by the pool. Suddenly Elissa says - if I win I'm ready to make a big move - I'm putting up Amanda and McCrae! And the silence that followed just hung in the air. It took Helen a second to recover. Then she started pushing Elissa to just put up Amanda if she were to win HOH, not both of them. Now she is just pumping Elissa with confidence, and although Elissa is listening it appears as though Helen's words are going in one ear and out the other. She just keeps mumbling "uh-huh". Now Elissa is saying that she didn't get to play the game that she wanted to play, and when Helen asks why, Elissa responds that she was attacked when she got here, and she feels that she didn't really have a chance to bond with people - and for a minute I feel bad for her - until she starts whining that she just wants to see her family.

Last night I heard Spencer, Andy and McCrae talking in the BY, and they were talking about "how would BB know if you split the prize money after you received it" and they mentioned that in the contract they signed they could be sued if CBS found out, then one of them mentioned something along the lines of how they are not allowed to discuss what happens in the DR after they leave the house and if they do they can also be sued - some kind of "non disclosure agreement" or some such and then they got scolded for talking about production. Also remember season 4? With Erika and Jun and Jee? In the first few weeks of that season a lot of good players got voted out, leaving us with a snore fest. I think CBS decided they wouldn't let that happen again and began "influencing" HG's via the DR to keep the show interesting. That is just a suspicion of mine.

I personally believe that Amanda will NOT win this game based on the people left in the house. JMO. Most of them know that Amanda and Helen need to go or they will not win, and I believe that they are committed to removing them. If Amanda DOES win, I will accept the story that Marty posted weeks ago, the blog that was written by Hailey Jones, and then I will file BB away in the same category as the Kardashian show, which is in the "GARBAGE" folder under my desk.

^^^^ Yes Janis I agree. From the questions that they are asked, they can deduce a lot of things. That is why they are not supposed to discuss their DR sessions with each other, it is like comparing notes - but they do it constantly anyway. Watching the live shows only for so many years I never really had an understanding of how the show was run. Slimcruz thank you for the compliments. I enjoy the forum side because of the interaction with all you folks. Also I'm a hunt and peck typist, I have no flashback feature on my econo-feeds, and I like to post pictures because they give a frame of reference on specific incidents.

The HG's are making a mistake. I have read online that the season finale is Sept. 18th. IDK if that is correct, but the HG's seem to think that it is Sept 26th which is an extra week. So, if the 19th is correct they are adding an extra week into all their future plans. Just saying. BTW Ivgal, this was the first year I was ever able to see the live feeds. The week that Nick was evicted I realized how much the HG's were influenced by the DR and I almost dropped out for good. I took a few days off, and reevaluated and came to grips with a few things. The people here in this forum also offered me a lot of helpful advice which made me feel better. I think a lot of things in the house are influenced, but I also think a lot of things are pure reactions, and those are REAL. Also the conversations and the scheming, most of that is real, at least IMO. The DR gives the HG's too much info whether on purpose or accidentally and it definitely affects the game, they at times "steer" events for television purposes, but I don't believe that it is scripted or preconceived. I think they just try to keep it interesting, and some times they get too involved. JMO.
