Striller
I'm truly confused with the HOH. How did Steve win when the answer was 2800 steve-601/2200 off? Johnny Mac - 3600/ 800 off Steve won? Confused? I'm truly confused with the HOH. How did Steve win when the answer was 2800 steve-601/2200 off? Johnny Mac - 3600/ 800 off Steve won? Confused? Tritledee
Confused how did Steve win he was 2200 off Johnny Mac is 800 off wrong winner? Because Johnny Mac went over, which was part of the rules. Steve claimed that he accidentally won because he left off a zero. straykat
The rules are that their answer can't be over the correct answer. If they both go over then it would be the closest but Steve stayed under the correct answer.
JEDI
It's basically like the game show "The Price Is Right". Steve could have bid $1, and still won the entire showcase, because Johnny Mac went over the actual retail price.
linda60639
It would have been nice if Julie had mentioned that rule. It would have only taken a few seconds to say " in the event of a tie the one coming closest to the actual number without going over, will be the winner." That simple statement would have avoided a lot of confusion.

Somerandomguy
She did say closest without going over. Then added " in the event both of you go over, then it goes to whomever is closer"
