Courtesy of: THE SHOW BUZZ Lindsay Lohan To Have Appendix Removed Rep Says She'll Be Recovering For A Few Days But Will Be 'Totally Fine' NEW YORK, Jan. 4, 2007 (CBS) Lindsay Lohan will have her appendix removed Thursday, her rep confirmed to The ShowBuzz. "She was not feeling well and went to her doctor," Lohan's publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, told E Online's Marc Malkin. "She went to the hospital last night and her appendix is being taken out today." Sloane-Zelnick told Malkin that "she'll be recuperating for a few days but then she will be totally fine." Lohan was rushed to a hospital in September for a fractured wrist after she fell at Milk Studios in New York where she attending a Fashion week event. At the time, her publicist told "Access Hollywood" that Lohan slipped while walking in an outdoor area in flat Chanel boots and that "there's a pending investigation," because the actress claims the venue didn't take the necessary precautions to make the ground less slippery. The actress made headlines recently for admitting that she's been attending Alcoholics Anonymous classes for the past year.

Courtesy of: ZAP2IT 'Scrubs' Actress Fractures Pelvis Actress will be on crutches for a few weeks September 25, 2006 Judy Reyes on 'Scrubs' Judy Reyes, who plays sassy nurse Carla on the medical comedy "Scrubs," found herself visiting the hospital in real life. The actress had fallen accidentally at home and fractured her pelvis on Wednesday, Sept. 20, reports People. At first, Reyes didn't think her injury was that serious and even went into work the next day. "She had surgery to repair it on Thursday," says spokesperson Monique Ward. "She didn't realize it was as bad as it was and still went to work. Once there, she realized she needed medical treatment. She went to a hospital from the set. She's going to be fine." Reyes will be released from the hospital on Monday. Although she'll be on crutches for the next six weeks, she'll continue to shoot a few of the less taxing scenes, while the filming schedule is rearranged so she can complete the remainder later. Reyes, 37, is also known for playing Tina Rivera on "Oz" and a homeless woman in the Hallmark Channel's "Our House" telefilm.

Courtesy of: ZAP2IT 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Arrested He was taken in on kidnapping charges September 14 2006 Duane 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' ChapmanDog the Bounty Hunter has been collared. Duane Chapman, the reality TV star of A&E's "Dog the Bounty Hunter," was arrested Thursday morning (Sept. 14) in Hawaii, reports MSNBC. Son Leland Chapman and fellow bounty hunter Tim Chapman (no relation) were also arrested on kidnapping charges. The report, which can be seen on MSNBC's website, says that an arrest warrant was issued in Washington, prompted by the Mexican government. The kidnapping charges stem from an incident back in 2003. That year, Max Factor heir Andrew Luster was on the run for several months to avoid multiple counts of rape and ended up in Mexico where Duane "Dog" Chapman and his team apprehended him. Mexican authorities wanted Luster handed over to them, denied Chapman and his gang permission to leave the country, declared them fugitives from justice and tried to get them extradited to Mexico for sentencing. Even though the three Chapmans were held in jail for a few days, the charges were eventually dropped and they were released. Luster is currently serving a 124-year sentence. It's uncertain why this incident has come back to haunt the wildly popular bounty hunter. Details are pending. "Dog the Bounty Hunter" is in its third season on A&E and has gained a loyal following for its unconventional but charismatic star. The tattooed Chapman is an ex-con who turned a new leaf, embracing his faith and his calling to bring fugitives to justice. He's known for his gruff yet caring nature, often exhibited to those he captures.
