It seems to me it would be incredibly stupid of Cody to not want Nicole or Donny out of the house.  He would be an idiot to put up one of his allies. 

I enjoyed him for the first while, but I think he needs a serious ego check at this point.  Power does not become him. 

Yep, Grodner is asleep at the switch.  She can't throw in a safety net now (tho most of her safety nets are obvious rigging no matter when they are put in place). 

 

Production also knows that the weeks have become boring as to the predictibility so they want the HG's to talk about changing the vote so the fans think there is actually some excitement about to happen.  They would also like to try for a closer vote so Julie can say "it's tied right now...stay with us and see how the rest of the votes fall".  She's been reduced to lame comments lately like "joe has been Bob's best friend all summer...will he vote to keep him?"

 

When is the POV ceremony? 

Absolutely!!  I feel bad for Julie this season.  Watching her try to create excitement where absolutely none exist has become outright painful!

Sidenote:  There is some serious stuff going down on Donny's gofundme page.  More interesting than the house has been all season!

I can't say I am surprised at all.  There is really nothing production can do at this point without the most obvious of rigging.

I agree that he'd prefer America's Favourite Player.  At my school district, he would NOT get his job back if he wasn't able to qualify for a leave of absence, no matter how well liked he is.  It's a union job that would already be posted and filled.   Hope it's different in his case.  

Regardless, he made the choice to leave.

Don't recall that in Season 2...oh wait, maybe Nicole did that (been a while).  In Season 4 June did (said "don't watch me" squatted and peed in the box they were in) and I am sure on those swinging in the air or standing on the ledge when you are getting drenched with water and goo more than a few bladders have given up dignity not caught on camera!

 

The biggest problem with endurance is the majority of the TV/BBAD (and even new feed) audience just does not want to see it because they have not been with BB long enough to understand it.  The "instant gratification generation" (Grande, Bieber, Cyrus tweens & twits) has no patience for it.  Sho2 was a paid tier and BBAD is free (if you have TVGN) but people don't want to waste their time and money watching people hanging on to a wall, volcano, surfboard, whatever for hours to win HOH!  They want it more, now, and fast or they lose interest.  Loss of interest is loss of money for CBS and CBS/BB do not like that!  It's about the money!!

It's really too bad.  Some of the best moments have come out of the endurance comps.  Sure it is more of a slow burn, but the payoff is there, IMO.  Especially this far into the season. 

Was it Nicole? I know they were sitting on a bed, holding a key.

He would fight for his pink glittered life like nobody's business, so I think it would still be good. 

I would also like to see that. And I want endurance comps. I want to see them stand on a ledge soaking wet, suffering and see just how much they want that HoH. I really dislike the BOB that took away the endurance comps.

Didn't a woman in Season 2 pee her pants in an endurance comp?  She was trying to hold out against Dr. Will?  Am I remembering this correctly?

I think this game would be turned up to a whole level if Derrick and Frankie were put on the block at the same time.  The house would have to choose and we'd really get to see how good of gamers these two really are.

That would be awesome!  I'm sure the other HGs would not be pleased to learn that Derrick and Frankie have been making some pocket money on the side.

 

So, Frankie never came totally clean, and Derrick has been talking about others being secretive and lieing when he has been doing the same.  That could be an epic episode.

 

No one has been exposing anyone for anything except the ealier guests.  This would have been a much better game for us if they continued to do so weekly.

I think it should be a rule that they must blow the house up upon their exit. 

Some of it might have to do with donny coming to the house looking like someone from duck dynasty and sounding like gomer pyle.  We own a home in the mountains of western north carolina and even the mountain folks don't sound like that, particularly.  Not sure where he is from, specifically.  Some people like duck dynasty, some people hate duck dynasty.  Be that as it may and I leave it to the individual to question why they do or do not like donny.  He seems a really nice man to me and nice people seem in short shrift on reality shows so I find him refreshing; only to a point, to be honest here.  I have yet to read why exactly people here don't like him except for his game play or lack thereof.

I neither like nor dislike him as a person.  I don't find him entertaining on the show and that is really all it is about for me.  I have no doubt he would make a great neighbour or coworker etc in real life, but he is not my cup of tea as far as BB players go.  I haven't seen anyone anywhere say they actually don't like HIM and, in fact, on social media most are very careful to say that while they like him as a person, they aren't a fan of him as a player.  He's a very non-offensive person overall and not much to dislike.

Those in the BB fan base that see him as this year's ridiculously religiously supported 'nice guy' when in their view he's done very little. the most, truly see him as a boring floater brilliant tactician. Both groups have amazingly corrupted distorted views but both are certain that their perspective is rational and a true reflection of reality. Watching these groups flail about with perspectives that run counter to reality is one of the few interesting things left to watch in BB16.

 

I normally would not do that but this "the fans don't see how great Donny really is" diatribe is really getting old. The fans do not have to like Donny. They do not have to cheer for him. They do not have to hate the other players. And the fans do not have to make up excuses for why he's been on the bottom the whole game. It's BB and they are playing for half a million dollars. I expect people to employ all modes of strategy to make it to the end, including emotional, psychological, group think, shunning and deceitfulness. Donny hasn't been subjected to any treatment that hasn't already been done to other players in other seasons. In fact, considering he has been on the side of the opposition for the whole season, I would say his treatment has been better than the opposition in most seasons.

 

Does it suck for Donny and his fans that he ended up being left out of the BS. Yes. Was it wrong. NO. Luck of the draw is a fact of life in the BB house and in real life. Somehow you have to find a way to overcome your misfortune. Some times you do and some times you don't. But, fans don't have to feel sorry for you and hate everyone else just because real life or BB life has been unfair. Donny got a raw deal, but he has done a poor job of adapting to the situation and overcoming the odds. The game is not over and the odds are worst now than ever, if he can't overcome, he will go to the jury house just like everyone else that could not overcome. 

 

I think all the Donny fans would enjoy the season a lot more if they stuck to critiquing the game and not the fans.

The conversations they have bashing others seem so pointless and unnecessary. 

I'd understand if it was a tactic to sway someone, but that's not the case.

I think people get bored and there is not much to talk about.  Plus being around anyone 24/7 would be grating.  I just chalk it up to mindless jibber jabber mostly.

Derrick's just plain mean sometimes.  Saying Donny would rather hang out with cows in the field than the hg's...when has Derrick ever approached Donny or included him unless he had to and it put money (TA) in Derrick's pocket???

Not one of The Brat Attack has ever even talked to Donny voluntarilarly.

That is not a mean statement and is probably true.
