  1. I definitely don't dismiss it is a valid strategy to get to the end and I could actually cheer for someone if this was, in fact, their explicit strategy.  Not everyone is going to be good at comps or socially persuasive, so riding the coat tails of a strong player can be a viable option.

I have yet to hear Victoria outline any sort of strategy whatsoever and she seems to think she actually could actually swoop in, start winning comps and take the win.  She is very young and very dim.  :disappointed:

  2. I don't care if derrick is a cop or not.  I also don't care about his wife.  I think some of us take this chit way too seriously.  Fact is, none of us know what the photo was. I would be curious to know who "likens him to a dirty cop?"   Oh, and by the way, weight is a huge issue - no pun intended - for a lot of people.  If people don't think so, they have their head up their ass.

I've seen some people make the dirty cop claim on social media sites and saying he should be fired and all that crap.  I just can't with some people. I think it is just so outrageous.

I really need to start staying away from those places, because it lowers my faith in humanity to almost zilch.

  3. I agree and it will piss me off royally if Cody gets applause when he gets out.

I can't gloat over other people's hurt and discomfort.

Neither can I.  They have all the time in the world when it is done to read all the hate on the internet and face the blowback from their friends and family members etc.

I'm trying to remember who got booed last season.  I think only Aryn and Amanda did and neither got it nearly as bad as she did last night.  If I recall Spencer and the rest of them got applause?

No doubt Cody is going to get a very nice smattering of applause from the audience.

  4. Last night, Frankie made everyone step away from the golden button and made sure no one would push it, but he did?

I don't get this whole reset thing. Why wait until next week, why don't they just reset now if he already pushed the button?

I think they are going to go through the whole process of noms, veto etc and then drop the bomb on them on Wednesday during the live show, so instead of a vote we get the whole shebang?

That is my dim understanding of it anyway.

  5. Why don't they just slap a Scarlet Letter A on her chest and call it a day!

With all the evil going on in the world, Christine's flirting should be irrelevant.  I don't condone it, but if you ask me they're all acting like a bunch of assholes in the house but for some reason women always get more condemned for it then the men do.

I think maybe we should put her in a pit and throw stones at her.  Or at least poke her with sticks.  :laugh4:

I'm trying to put my finger on why this particular instance really raised my ire and I think you may have touched on it here.

Also, for me, I think it is tacky ass on CBS's part to condone it.  The wouldn't have a show if it weren't for these fools.

  6. It's called bad manners.  Christine and all the others has decided to put her life under a microscope 24/7 for your enjoyment and entertainment.  It's the very least the audience can do is show a little respect for that.  No one is saying she should be cheered and admired, but gee, maybe just a common level of decency could be expected.

  7. Cody had a role model in his Dad who seemed almost proud of his son's behavior.  Cody's Dad is a schmuck who decided it was cool to talk to his son inside his parked luxury car.  Cody has absolutely no excuse since it was apparently unnecessary for his "game" (if he had one).  Just an arrogant frat boy acting as an arrogant frat boy.  I can make a better excuse for Christine.  She wanted to be part of the Detonators who dominated the game.  Her choices for ingratiating herself was a flamboyant gay, a steroid muddled cowboy, a straitlaced family man who had a sacrificial lamb, a psychotic loose wire or frat boy Cody.  She chose Cody and fed his ego. It did not work.

Her smart move would be to flip sides and act as a spy.

That is a really good point.  Her family was ashamed, his Dad was smiling from ear to ear.

She would have been a much more interesting player if she had of flipped and people probably would have been a lot easier on her if she appeared to actually just be using him, but alas, this is the season of bores.

  8. I was happy she was evicted, but felt bad at the booing. I honestly don't understand how "fans" think that's ok. Yeah she was mean and what not, but holy cow, why stoop to that level and become part of the negativity? How she behaved in the game reflects only her behavior there, whereas the ones who booed showed their ugly side out in the real world. We don't know who she is in the "real world".

Between the people yelling outside the yard, being mean to players families, and booing, the fun of Big Brother is not what it once was.

ICAM.  It's like an audience from Jerry Springer.
