I could understand Frankie making a play to try stay by saying he would be the most powerful person in the game. But what was he going to do? The odds were that he was going to have to vote for someone who was standing the room with him. Did he really think anybody would think that he could convince the jury to vote for Vic? I thought Frankie was smart enough to come up with a smarter argument than that. In the end, he looked like a real dumbass douchbag.
I guess his million followers is going to destroy any career that any of the HG might have. There's still about 330 million more that don't care what Frankie Grande has to say.
I can totally understand a last minute play - actually I expect it and the lack of people trying to do so this season makes me have very little respect for them as players - but WOW was that ever bad, You should try to stroke the egos of other players, not insult them! And he sounded so arrogant and ridiculous.
He sealed his fate with that big time. Dummy.

I would have more respect for Derrick if he didn't spend every diary room session posturing to the public. I can't fully admire his game because of that.
I agree. I prefer honest, straight up DR's and I am not sure who he thinks he is kidding. We are not as stupid as the people in the house (well most aren't).
He has played a great game, but personality wise he bores me to tears. If he wins, he will definitely be one of the more forgettable winners.
It might be the smartest move but I really hope final two are Derrick/Cody, if either of them take the "Twit" to final 2 I'll be disappointed.
Me too.

They could be gasping if that is what you heard because someone else got it wrong or right or because they thought Cody got it wrong or gasping because Victoria moved or.....
People really dig deep for the conspiracies
They do. It is non-stop and gets pretty tiresome.
I don't think they can hear the audience in the backyard and even if they can, they could be gasping at anything.
-
Production can only manipulate so far but make no mistake the do it when they can (and it's been obvious over the years)!
He definitely got screwed by the rewind. The only point I can see for that was to save Twittoria! I do not like Frankie but he played a good game and the rewind was a slap in the face at all the things he had won, so instead of a good player battling it out in F4 that little potted plant Victoria will probably be in F2.
I can't see any reason why they would want to save Victoria, but yeah, it is a shame that instead of having 4 gamers at the end (more or less LOL), we have that twit taking up space.
This probably isn't the last we will see of dear Frankie.
-
So much for the claims of rigging that we heard non-stop. I actually feel bad for how terribly he got screwed over by the Rewind and he went out with more class than I expected. He was a great player. Bye Frankie!!

Well, I feel BB Better now!
(I'm sure BB leaked the Vic BS for sensationalism)!!
Derrick can now send Vic packing to jury (where she will campaign for him) with no blood on his hands and either of his Bro's will take him to F2! Well done Sir!!!!
Indeed! He really couldn't have played it any better.
-
Yes exactly. Puts him in a good spot for when he goes in front of the jury too - that he can win when he needs to.
-
Surely Derrick is smart enough to realize winning this HOH is the only way to be guaranteed a place in F3. I hope Princess Jasmine didn't win.
Derrick won.
-
Zach all the way. All day every day. Booya!
-
I think Derrick has played a great game, but this season has been very boring for me. Watching one person manipulate the house simply isn't enough for me, no matter how masterful it is.
I need drama baby! DRAMA!
-
No, it isn't classified as a game show, from my understanding.

I laughed, I cried. I cried again.

LOL Slim. *shakes fist*

Oh, I am not saying Cody will do it or even think about it. I really think he will be loyal. But if it was me...it would be a done deal.
It is interesting to me that the guys think that they can beat Derrick (Frankie, Caleb) or have a chance against him (Cody), while the people in the jury clearly see Derrick as the best player in the game and the person who was the person calling the shots. It was interesting that at the same time Caleb was saying that Derrick was weak, Nicole was comparing him to Dan. Why doesn't any of the guys see the same thing they jury sees?
It has to be their own egos getting in the way. It is the only thing that makes sense.

I do think it is unfair that Frankie is allowed to be in the running for AFP. But that is not because of his sister. Knowing the way social media is, I don't think BB should allow any HG with 10,000 or more followers to compete for AFP. It just puts everyone else at a real disadvantage. Returning players should also be barred because they have already had at least one season to build a fan base versus a newbie. JMHO.
I think this is why AFP should be scrapped or at least not automatically done every season. You have what you described above happening and then you have people like Donny deciding they are going to play for that money instead of the actual game.
Also listening to them speculate on which one of them will win it is a tad puke worthy.

I didn't know who she was when she was in the audience but I did see her and thought that she was beautiful and probably somebody. I don't recall the camera lingering or anything but she did stand out as celebrities tend to do when they have their warpaint on. I do not understand why people are so upset about ariana grande being there - she wasn't naked standing on a chair. Nor do I understand why people are so chapped about the whole frankie/ariana deal.
Me neither. I am actually surprised they don't do this sort of thing more often.
-
Did Ariana get in because of her celebrity? You bet your ass. If Frankie was not her brother, she still would have gotten in to the show. If Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Serena Williams or any other movie, tv, sports, political star calls CBS and ask to be in the audience, I am willing to bet that CBS would make it happen. They are in business and if they get a chance to say, so and so, was in the audience the other night for our show, they are going to do it. They are always looking for a way to expand their audience. Many people have commented that Ariana fans don't even watch BB. So, one of the fastest ways to target that fan group is through the stars of that group. With all the different social media, Ariana could bring 1 or 2 hundred thousand or more fans over to CBS and that would equal millions of dollars for CBS. So, if you think CBS is doing Frankie a special favor, you are badly mistaken.
I totally agree with you joystiick. It is completely beyond me what the big deal is that she was quietly sitting in the audience.
-
Ya know - I don't watch the Talk so don't know what is going on.
I do keep passing over the thread here here that is named Ariana. She is not in the game.
What does it mean that Ariana "threw some shade" at Hayden?
(forgive me I am not hip)
Throw shade, from urban dictionary:
To talk trash about a friend or acquaintance, to publicly denounce or disrespect. When throwing shade, it's immediately obvious to on-lookers that the thrower, and not the throwee, is the bitcy, uncool one.
I first learned the term from watching Real Housewives of Atlanta. It's not a phrase I would really use in real life, because people would look at me like I was nuts.

During the Iraq war, when you were a prison guard, your prisoners were enemy POWs. We all recall the scandal at Abu Girab. For a 19 year old to spend almost two years doing that would explain a lot about Caleb's quirks. He received an honorable discharge but is still battling PTSD. I suppose patriotism is a big joke to some people.
I'm disappointed with CBS that they would put him on this show. When(if) he is evicted Wednesday he will be a real man about it. Unlike Frankie or Donnie for that matter who made his eviction a big pity party to get AFP. JMO.
He sure did.
And point taken about his time as a prison guard. Not a joke at all.
So was Marvin from S5
Dr. Wil had a spot on The Young and The Restless, I remember. These are literally 2 second spots where they nod or say two or three words at best. I am sure it would be fun, but it is in no way a career launching gig. Blink and you will be missed.
-
I thought they shut the feeds down when it got to the final three? After the first HOH comp? I could be completely wrong though.
-
-
I was under the impression that anyone going to sequester was not allowed ANY contact with the outside world, or influences.. so why would the Diva be in the audience? ( other than to try to increase CBS's ratings )
She could just smile and wave. It wouldn't affect anything.
They have already had a fair amount of outside influence with Jeff and Jordan coming in.
-
I'm thinking that a victoria or cody F2 would be terrible. Probably happen, though.
Victoria AND Cody. OMG.
-
Lol, Gerber Daisy. Maybe I've been desensitized. I worked in the athletic field too long???!! I've seen true misogynistic up close a personal on a regular basis - he doesn't scare me.
Oh dear LOL. Maybe he isn't so bad when you aren't locked up in a house with him 24/7.
