  1. True! If he can convince Ian and Dani to put their 500K at risk by throwing the final HOH to him, imagine what he can do with a football team!
  2. Yeah he would not only lie to people but he would really get into the lie passionately. He would go on a rant about his allies and emphasize why it was best for him to make a certain decision before going back on it and then blaming other people for the betrayal. If you go back and see how he needlessly made Frank and Boogie feel like he was with them all the way you can see why they were so pissed off about the situation.
  3. Those who are so upset by Dan's actions, you have to realize that this is a very "evil" game! It's the most evil reality show I can think of in the way that everyone eventually has to turn on each other and it's usually those that turn on their allies first that survive another day. It's more evil than Survivor I think, because at any time you can be put on the block next to your best friend or showmance and you have to do something to get people to send them home instead of you. The way this game constantly tears people apart is what makes it fascinating to me and since it is such an evil game, these people must do evil things to make it to the end yet if they do too many evil things then they won't be able to win. Dan may have done too many evil deeds in this game to win and so he will probably be punished but if you don't enjoy the ride of watching the best of the best stealthily assassinate one person after another on their journey to make it to the end and have to face all those that they betrayed to get there then I can't imagine why you are watching the show.
  4. Thursday, September 13, 11:44 pm, Feeds 1 & 2- Danielle unloads her frustrations about Shane's eviction on Dan while he does some damage control.
  5. Thursday, September 13, 8:37 pm, All Feeds- The HGs compete in a brutal endurance comp that has them on fishhooks being repeatedly dipped up to their head in water and slammed into a giant wall!
  6. I agree. It takes a lot of skill to balance so many alliances and tell so many lies and survive in this game and I applaud those who pull it off in the spirit of a game geared towards lies, manipulation and deceit. This is not a game about honesty and integrity.
  7. That is true, but I'm guessing even if she had gotten to play in more comps, she wasn't as in shape this season after the baby and all and probably wouldn't have done that great against physical beasts like Frank and Shane and quiz wizards like Ian but that is just speculation of course.
  8. No problem! Also, if you haven't seen season 6 or 7, Janelle was just a shadow of her former self this season. Back then she was a beautiful comp beast who was also great tv outside of comps due to her fearless and confrontational personality and people loved her for her passionate loyalty to her alliance. This season she didn't win much, seemed to do all her trash talking behind people's backs, played a floater game and just didn't seem as vibrant as she used to be. I would also say Dan isn't so much popular because people can relate to him but because he is a mastermind of the game and plays it completely emotionless like chess and seems to be an expert of psychology and how to manipulate people.
  9. Careful Dan, she's crazy enough to make good on that castration by butter knife threat!
  10. I'd pay to do it! Dan trying to talk Dani into dropping.
  11. Actually Dani looks kinda sick. She might be off first.
  12. Dan trying to sweet talk Dani and she's giving him the stink face hehe
  13. They are on little fishhook swings being dipped in and out of a river and slammed into a wall repeatedly! Brutal! Love it!
  14. I'm flattered you want my opinion. Dan was very popular after his first season yes, because he was the only player to ever win by unanimous jury vote, which already placed him at or near the level of the agreed upon best player, Dr. Will. He made some great moves that season and actually played a much more loyal, clean game. This season, it seems he decided to use that reputation to his advantage and play a very different game involving a lot of shifting loyalty and playing all sides while making everyone believe he would be loyal to them to the end and that he was an easy person to beat in the end due to being a previous winner. Even if you hate him, you just can't deny his incredible skill at playing the social game and his power of persuasion. Getting to the end twice is an amazing feat in this game and doing it with very different strategies shows some outstanding versatility. I think he will be a polarizing player after this season. Those that view BB as just a game and who are willing to forgive any gameplay short of cheating will idolize Dan as the best player ever for a long time to come. Those that believe the game should be played ethically and dislike players that are willing to win at all costs will probably view Dan as a dirty player who sold his soul to the devil to win the game. So to answer your question, I think he will definitely be a more popular player after this season due to his proven skills but also less well liked by a lot of people. He started the season as a good guy and may very well end up being considered a villain.
