  1. Yes! Tonight's show has taken a more serious turn, with Makosi now claiming to Kemal and Vanessa they did actually have sex and being concerned she may be pregnant. She asked BB for a pregnancy test - then told BB that she'd keep the child, but not tell Anthony! Somehow I think he might just find out! Personally, I'm not falling for it. Makosi has been playing the housemates since week 1 with lie after lie - so now when their maybe a real issue at hand, it's difficult to believe her. Looking at the forums, she has lost ALOT of support due to her actions. Another HM to have shot themselves in the foot tonight is Derek, who while discussing Anthony's sexuality (again!) described Newcastle and the North of England as a "Backwards place!" That won't go down to well - a couple of years ago Federico got himself evicted for calling the girls of Newcastles "slags".
  2. Well, they would pick the pairs themselves - but would they pick their partner?
  3. Alot to update you on - beginning with the aftermath of winning the crying challenge. The HMs took full advantage of the alcohol won as part of their luxury dinner - and for desert we ended up with a naked pool party. Anthony, Makosi and Orlaith all took turns in snogging in each other, with Orlaith then letting Anthony have a nibble at her nipples. Meanwhile Craig was in tears in the house at the way Anthony had treated him that night - pretty much ignoring him and only concerned about having a good time. The penny began to drop for Craig that the man he'd secretly fallen in love with didn't reciprocate the feelings at all. Derek was on hand to offer sympathy, while Maxwell - the only remaining HM to know of Craigs secret crush - acted brilliantly. Meanwhile, just as Craig was getting over the realisation Anthony wasn't gay and joined the others in the pool - so was Makosi - but in a much more intimate fashion - which led to a mass exodus from the pool as they realised what Anthony and Makosi were doing in the pool. A very drunk Anthony later denied he had done the deed to secure the "man-points" - but the others weren't in much doubt. The next morning and Makosi was up at 6.30am, shortly followed by Anthony. They both denied they'd had sex, but believed to the others it looked like they had. When questioned later by Maxwell and co. Anthony couldn't remember much about the night before - and even considered quitting the house when he discovered he'd ran round the garden naked with an erection! Funniest though was Vanessa - who just couldn't wait to recap events in the diary room - "I love a bit of gossip I do!". Excitement over (literally) - this week the Big Brother house has been transformed into a Holiday Camp. Answering the call for the "wackiest, zanniest and craziest HM" to come to the diary room, Vanessa made herself a Holiday Rep and chose the other two girls - Orlaith and Makosi - to join her. They weren't happy though when they discovered they're chores involved all the cooking, cleaning and catering for the holiday makers (the other HMs) every need - and felt even worse when they discovered the uniform. Green blazers, pink polo shirts, khaki shorts and sandals weren't the look they wanted! The task is made up of a number of mini-challenges - such as a fashion show and spreading honey over other HMs bottoms - plus doing the conga everytime BB plays the music - along with the rules the reps must abide by. However, by failing to wear their uniforms properly each day, the Holiday Reps incurred three fails a day - enough to fail the challenge. And finally this weeks nominations - the first round that includes newcomers Orlaith and Eugene. Now newcomers don't usually do to well - and with the house now relatively united after last weeks divisions, would they escape? The answer is yes. Quite surprisingly (I thought) the two nominees were Maxwell (6) and Science (4). Eugene in fact got just two, while Orlaith got one - from Makosi. She nominated her for using her sexuality to integrate herself with the boys - what a hypocrite!
  4. We're half way through BB6 now - these are the latest odds on who'll win (from Paddy Power, official BB bookmaker) and despite being up for eviction, Maxwell has jumped into poll position, alongside Derek. Newcomers Eugene and Orlaith have slipped in the race, with surprisingly Orlaith being behidn Eugene. Kemal has also been one of the biggest fallers of the last week, slipping from favourite to fifth! Not surprising, I for one have really gone off him in the last seven days. 3/1 Maxwell 3/1 Derek 7/2 Makosi 5/1 Anthony 6/1 Kemal 12/1 Craig 20/1 Science 22/1 Eugene 25/1 Orlaith 33/1 Vanessa Science is favourite to be evicted this week at 1/6, with Maxwell looking relatively safe at 7/2.
  5. Not sure what exactly but the first HoH comp should be an endurance challenge done in pairs. Once one member of the pair quits, both are out of the race. When one pair remains, whoever lasts the longest is HoH.
  6. Yep - but hopefully you can come up with something better than that! I'll clarify my first post and make it more specific! I'm still thinking. I think perhaps for the food challenge I'd like their to be a twist where there is an individual winner who must then pick someone to share a major prize with. Would they pick their partner? Food Challenge: PB&J Surprise The HGs split into seven pairs and must then face off in their first challenge. Each pair of HGs are presented with a PB&J sandwich each
  7. Anyone got any idea for competitions that could feature on Big Brother this year. I think to start with we'll consider two challenges - the first food competition and first HoH competition. These both usually appear in the Premiere show (which is recorded). The food competition normally has a twist - and for the past two years has been linked to the theme. The first HoH comps in the last two series have been done in pairs, with one HM sitting out to determine who from the pair is HoH. With 14 HMs this year, it will have to be done slightly differently. Remember to try and link them to the "Summer of Secrets" theme - and if possible, somehow give a subtle hint to the main "secret pairs" twist. I'll have a think and get back to you with my ideas! QUICK RECAP: BB2: Food Challenge. HMs piled into a car with shopping. The twist was last HM to leave the car won it. BB3: Food Challenge. In pairs, HMs had to stay in nests with shopping for a set time. The twist was the last pair to quit their nest would win $3000 between them for each week they are in the house. BB4: Food Challenge - they had to stand on beams which were raised to form the shape of an X - a subtle clue that later the 8 original HMs would be joined by their ex's. HoH Challenge: HMs compete in pairs. The one HM who didn't compete got to choose which of the winning pair was HoH BB5: Food Challenge - climbing through a strand of DNA. The twist saw one HM who got a special ball offered $10,000 if they put the house on PB&J for a week. HoH Challenge: Again HMs competed in pairs. One of the winning pair then had to answer a question correctly about the HM who didn't compete to become HoH.
  8. From previous years - a simple outline: First show (Thurs): Intro / Food Comp / HoH Comp Second show (Tues): Nominations / Luxury Comp (Hot Tub) / Veto Comp Third show (Thurs): Live eviction / Live HoH Comp From then on: Sat: Food Comp / Nominations Tue: Veto Comp / Luxury Comp (though not that often) / Veto Meeting Thu: Live eviction / Live HoH Comp
  9. My guess is the secret bedroom will be somewhere along the bathroom corridor - there seems plenty of space to the side there.
  10. Maybe it's at the bottom of the garden!
  11. Big Brother uses songs, sob-stories and personal insults to try and get the HMs crying - with some fairing better than others - and others bursting out in... laughter! Craig remained unmoved, despite BB telling him his hair "looked like it had been cut with a spoon". Phil Collins failed to move Science, while Kemal disapointed. Anthony was reminded of England's penalty misses, while Makosi failed to cry - until she left the diary room. Maxwell, determined not to cry could only laugh when BB taunted his "stinky breath". Listening to "Bright Eyes" did the trick for Orlaith though. As for Derek, BB reminded him that a wise man once said "Man alone is born crying, lives complaining and dies disappointed," to no effect. He did burst into laughter though when he was told the wise man in question was in fact Big Brother. However, they did manage enough tears between them to pass the task and win a luxury meal.
  12. USA BB isn't considereed 'mean' like that .. cause I imagine that they could be sued for false represntation of what the 'contest' they were competing in was for .. They don't pull those kind of tricks on you .. they just invite your ex bf to live in a house with you for three months, or say ... surprise -- heres your long lost sibling .. or guess u weren't seeing things, there really are two of us .. True - but something could be done to give it a catch. Maybe not evicting, but make clear it's a special Head of Household competition - but don't reveal why. The HoH then nominates as usual, with the first eviction going ahead as usual. However, the catch is that then the HoH and the saved nominee go Head to Head in a second eviction vote, meaning a double eviction in the first eviction show! Only the HoH is told this is going to happen - and is given a way to get out of it. For example, they have to ensure the Veto isn't used in the first week. If they do save themselves, they get to nominate a third person to go head to head with the saved nominee!
  13. Going back to my original point. Having watched the WLBB vid, I think I'm right - but there are a few minor changes... The main entrance is kind of where it was, but the lounge and kitchen have switched places. The back yard is now to the side of the kitchen, rather than by the lounge / kitchen. The diary room and store room are still located behind the lounge. The corridor off the kitchen includes the stairs leading to the HoH suite and viewing lounge. It then leads to the gym (which Julie described as a bedroom!) and the bathroom. The corridor off the lounge leads to the big bedroom and the main exit door. No clues as to where the secret bedroom is - yet! So there are some changes - but the main part of the house is very similar to the old house - in layout and decor. The layout in fact is virtually the a mirror image with a couple of bedrooms knocked into one and a second-floor HoH suite added. Now with the info released I've come up with a pretty accurate prediction of this year's floorplan - and also included last year's for comparision It is virtually the same layout - but with some big difference. Basically, the design is a mirror image, with the lounge and kitchen switching places. The diary room (and presumably store room) remain next to the lounge. The two bedrooms are now knocked into one, with a secret bedroom next to them (effectively the old HoH room!) The bathroom has virtually the same design, while in place of the old bedroom is the Gym (which Julie interestingly described as a bedroom!). However, there are some big changes to the layout. The main door is now at the front, between the lounge and kitchen, rather than at the side. The garden moves round to the side of the kitchen - while we get the introduction of the second storey. That grey blob represents the spiral staircase, with the balcony and viewing lounge following the contours of the camera run. The new HoH suite upstairs is twice the size, with it's own bathroom located above the main bathroom (handy for plumbing!). Hopefully you can now see clearer what I mean by the new house having virtually the same layout - but of course they're are some difference, but with a brand new house I expected far more! (PS: Apologies for the image not being at 100% quality - blame JPEG compression!)
  14. Wouldn't it be funny if the first Head of Household challenge was an endurance challenge - and after 12 hours standing on a two foot square lump of plastic, the twist was revealed that infact the first HoH is the first evictee!!!!
  15. Saskia got 71%, Maxwell 29% so no. Last week Roberto got 53%, Derek 47%. From (my bad memory) the week before in a 3-way vote Sam got about 57%. In week 2 with all 12 HMs up for eviction Lesley got around 37%, while in week 1 with Mary vs Craig, Mary was evicted with something like 60% of the vote. They usually tell us how many votes were cast, but haven't been doing so this year. UPDATE: Big Brother makes the HMs cry! Today's Saturday Challenge is a real tear-jerker. Each HM will be called to the diary room and given fifteen minutes to cry - with BB offering helpful assistance with tearful songs and sob-stories. They will wear special goggles for the challenge, which must then be tipped into a tear bucket. If they get more than a spoonful of tears, they will win a luxury dinner!
  16. I've had a bit of trouble with this but found this direct link works fine: http://www.welovebigbrother.com/videos/pre...lie_allison.wmv Either stream it or right click and save.
  17. Surprise surprise it's Saskia to get the boot! As usual, she was booed out the house and cheered in the studio! Pretty decent interview and she came across really well. Davina also handled it very well (she's believed her and Maxwell are made for each other since week 1) and in comparison to Michelle's interview last year ("Did you have sex with Stuart under the table?") this was a much better watch. No twist at all - or even any clues to the twist. Just more highlights (to be honest, it could have easily been edited to fit the original slot!), a bit of chat with the crowd (fantastic - like the old days!) and giving Saskia just a minute to leave the house - though she seemed in a hurry to get out and was out of the doors before the woman stopped telling her she'd been evicted! (Usually the eviction result is revealed at the end of one show, with a second show 30 minutes later featuring the eviction itself!)
  18. See for yourself: http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/latest-...task/index.html
  19. There is another twist around the corner as tonight's live eviction show has once again been extended at the last minute. Not to much to report on this week - it's basically been all about Maxwell and Saskia. Since being up for eviction, Saskia has been far more receptive when Maxwell jumps into bed with her - leading to a 4.30am row in the bedroom when Kemal asked how long he had to put up with it, stating they'd done enough to secure a magazine deal. Maxwell responded by throwing water over him and removing his bed sheets, to which Kemal quipped "At least some one got wet tonight, hey Saskia!" Maxwell has now had an official warning for his agressive behaviour. Makosi, Kemal, Vanessa and Derek have spent virtually every moment this week bitching about Maxwell and Saskia. Their main complaint is that M&S think it's the "Maxwell and Saskia" show - not realising the irony in that by talking about them 24/7, it's turned into just that. Anthony tried to build bridges with them to which Makosi claimed they have no problem with him what so ever, but as soon as he left the room the "Divas" started slagging him off! The other main event in the house was this week's task - a production of Romeo and Juliet - The Ballet. Quite funny, especially when Anthony(Romeo) attempted to kiss Orlaith (Juliet) and was knocked back - much to the enjoyment of the rest of the house! "Taxi for (Anthony) Hutton"
  20. Some quite interesting odds: Maxwell to win: 10/1 Anthony and Craig to snog: 10/1 Orlaith to win: 16/1 Anthony to come out: 16/1 Vanessa to win: 33/1 Anthony and Craig to buy a house together and live happily ever after in Brighton: 25/1
  21. Not sure if this has been made clear, but if the HGs figure out they are all paired and a pair of contestants still make the final two, do they get the $1m jackpot for making it to the final, or is it lost as they were found out!
  22. I've seen a couple of clips of the BB1 finale posted here a while back, but that's about it! I'd love to see a clip of a standard BB1 eviction and interview to see how different they are to the set-up of the last few years.
  23. They've put so much more effort into the "front" than the "back yard". Obviously they keep most of it lawned so it's flexible for the challenges, but they could make the walls a bit more interesting rather than having flat cream walls all the way round!
  24. I think when the houseplan is released you'll see the similarities. It is bigger though - but seems to be the same layout, just slightly bigger. Re: wheelchair rant - let's be honest, it's not going to happen as it would severly restrict the challenges that could be set.
