I agree with you in principle. When I say that I would like to see a "nice guy," win Big Brother I mean that it would be good for me to see someone win without being dishonest, without backstabbing anyone and winning through facility with competitions which would never include throwing a comp for gain. I think that I am being naive, however, and I just don't see that happening on a contemporary, competitive reality show. Big Brother has become so predictable and the negative aspects of game play have become more and more acceptable as people and players have become more sophisticated about the game itself. It is sad.

No. You are right. Although I remember andy being mean to people behind their backs and saying terrible things. Maybe I am wrong about this. I think what I am trying to rationalize about derrick is that even though I just don't like him, I think he comes across as very intense because he is so intent on winning and he has been clever enough to manipulate the others in his favor and I can't fault him for that. I do think that perhaps derrick is drunk with power and I do fault him for that. At this point, I would for sure pick Donny for the winner of my choice but it is pretty much a personal choice between the two and has little to do with gameplay. Make sense?

Well, I don't like derrick but I've disliked people on BB far more than I do him and really, people, we have to give the man some credit for taking advantage of the situation and using those jackasses to further his game. It is all about winning the money. I write that, remembering that Andy utilized different tactics and won. Hated him. I am up for seeing a nice guy win.

I still think that it is an easy win for derrick at this point - things change - and kudos to derrick for reading the house quickly and getting his game in place accordingly. For a bunch of reasons; if he does win, I don't see him being a popular winner. I don't like derrick but I understand that he went there to win 500K and accept that the BB derrick might not be the everyday derrick. For me, the great shame of season 16 will be that donny and derrick didn't ally secretly and take it to F2. Unfortunately, Derrick knew/knows that his real competition in the game is donny and he is afraid of him. It says much to me about derrick.

I don't like zach, either, but at this point he is the only one of them "loose cannon," enough to bring some excitement to the game. I would much rather see cody go. Or victoria.
