  1. You are exactly right about the way Derrick played the game. Derrick played the long game and he recognized that everyone eventually needed to be eliminated. If he wanted to target a group, he was not as concerned with the order they were eliminated, as long as they were eliminated. Paulie was caught up in the idea that everyone had to be eliminated in a specific order, and, he was the only one to determine that order. He never about Paul's input. Frankly, I never saw anything comparable between how he played the game and how Derrick played the game. His game was closer to god-father than puppet-master.
  2. I think Paulie could have still been sitting pretty if he would not have gotten so caught up in his own personal game and would have paid attention to what his alliance and F3 buds wanted to do. When Frank went home, Brigette was supposed to be next. Paulie changed the plan and disregarded what Paul wanted. It was the same when it was time for Michelle to go. So, because Paulie was only looking out for himself, it showed Paul that it was not an equal partnership and it opened the door for Paul to start listening to other plans. In my opinion, all Paulie had to do was take Z down and allow Michelle to be voted out and he still would have been in a great position. Instead, he blew up his own game because he is/was too selfish.
  3. I hope Nat and James can make it to F3. I think Nat probably picked up a huge fan base over the last week. She has really grown in the game and has proven that she is a lot more than a wallflower.
  4. I assume it was the game in which one player wins a prize, then the next player selects a prize but they have a choice between keeping the prize or "zonk" they have or taking the prize that the previous player won. Sounds like Corey had the POV prize and Paulie, as the next player, swapped his prize for Corey's POV. Eventually, Victor must have been the final player and took the POV for himself.
  5. I think the fact that 3 women blew up his game will haunt him for years to come. The fact that he is being beaten by Natalie may drive him over the edge.
  6. For entertainment, it could get very entertaining if Paulie is voted out this week, then Meech gets the care package and Nicole is the HOH.
  7. No. I didn't know Victor wanted to do that? What was his reasoning? To me, at this point, you have to get out the people that are strong in comps and the people that have huge influence over other people. Although Nat and Mich may have some influence, I would put them down near the bottom of the list of the people that need to go right now.
  8. Victor won HOH. Looks like Paulie's fate is sealed. Unfortunately, fate probably means he has the round trip.
  9. Going by what i have read on other sites, apparently, Nicole has a fairly large fan base that was built up from her previous season.
  10. Paulie is in complete shock. In the last 48 hours, his BB life has been turned upside down. He keeps trying to find somebody to blame, but he keeps coming up empty.
  11. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That could cause people to think twice, but it should not block them from getting Paulie or Corey out.
  12. There shouldn't be any reason for them not to send Paulie or Corey home. Only one of them can win veto.
  13. The fake crying is too much. I don't believe in violence against women, but, I don't think I would be opposed if one of the women reached over and slapped her in the back of the head and told her to cut the BS out, at least once.
  14. ITA. She lost her way early in the game and never developed any particular strategy, other than putting her hopes in Paulie, to advance in the game. During the interview with Julie, when she was asked about Paulie not using the veto, she still seemed to be completely clueless to what happened and then stated that Paulie had to do what was best for his game. She could not recognize that her game was all about advancing him and his game was all about advancing him. There was no team in his I.
  15. I think we both believe that Paulie used her and really took advantage of her feelings for him. However, I believe we just see Z's culpability in her demise and why differently.
  16. Paulie can be very convincing when he tells a story. Throughout the game, he's been planting seeds of doubt about Z and all the girls noticed Z's jealousy. Throw on top of that, after Nat told Z what was going on, she still went right back to Paulie. So, with all those factors and the fact that Z is not there to tell her side of the story, it is easy for Paulie to blame her for the problems.
  17. Man, when Paulie went out on the first question, I just knew he was getting booted. It was such a let down for Cory to win. Oh well, hopefully now, everyone will quit cruising and start playing hard. Game on.
  18. I have been hoping James would snap out it since the game began. Up until this week, he has let me down. I really really hope he redeems himself tonight and follows through on the blindside. It would be nice if he and Nat could make it to F3 together. Although I want Paulie to be sent packing the first chance they get, I do not want him to have a lot of time to spend with Z before she gets a chance to watch the season.
  19. James has to make the move now. There will not be a better time. If the house flips, Paul will get most of the blame, followed by Nat. James will be in an excellent position to make F3 and build his resume.
  20. Bridgette and Nat started comparing notes and she is no longer a Paulie minion.
  21. I not sure why you would think that. Men are well aware of how it feels to fall for a girl and end up getting used and abused. We have been there. In fact, In my opinion, women can be more ruthless than guys. Personally, I don't like the way Paulie is using Z one bit. I would love for her to have the round trip, come back in the house and Paulie get sent home. I don't know if she would do any better if he was not in the game, but I really do not want him to have a chance to reset himself in the game. I don't know if it would be the same if Z were white, but, I get the feeling that Paulie is pretty full of himself and treats women like trash regardless of color or creed. I believe, in his mind, all women are b****** and he doesn't have any problem using them. I didn't see it, but from reading some update pages, he got real upset because Brigette said that she was a feminist.
  22. At one point, I did feel sorry for Z. But, as the season went on, there were a number of things that should have clearly showed Z that she was being played by Paulie. Even she continues to state in DR sessions that she does not trust Paulie. She then goes and talks to him and eats up every BS story he feeds her. She still climbs in bed with him, even though she had a number of crying sessions with the other girls about how he treats her. She's a disappointment to me and I just can't feel sorry for her anymore.
  23. Nat had things figured out before Day left. But, since she really did not know how to play the game, she did not know how to really put the information to good use, plus she was only trusted James and was waiting for him to lead the way. After Michelle decided she was probably the target, she decided she would blow up Paulie's game because she knew he was the one calling the shots. Once she started talking, people started comparing notes. Then things started going downhill fast for Paulie. Knowing BB history. There is still too much time. Too many things can go wrong. After everything blew up yesterday, I wish BB could have put each of them in separate rooms until the eviction show. I really hope Z gets booted tonight and Paulie follows her out the door.
