    Sounds to me like she might have a problem with the meds they are giving her for her mental issues. Not saying she is abusing them (although she could be) but maybe just having a reaction to the drugs or a combo of drugs. It happens.

    We did okay, Sheri. Lots of rain, and tornadoes in the area, but none in our town. It's pretty bad when a hurricane causes that much trouble this far north!

    Was it just me, or when they did the call from home, was putting Joanne on the phone more of an afterthought than a priority? I was so surprised when the daughter put the grandkid on the phone first. Weird, if you ask me. I did want to add, it could be that the expressionlessness on his wife's face was due to the parkinsons. Sometimes that is an effect of the disease, but not usually until it is more advanced.
