I read somewhere she does something else full time, but now I can't remember what it was. Maybe someone else here does. Plus, she now does appearances, modeling and she has sponsors. In answer to the question though.... I worked in just an upper scale restaurant, and only had to work 3 evenings a week.. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I'm sure she makes even more money than that in since the mansion is a well known, VIP type of a club. It's not uncommon that a bartender/waitress can make 200-300 a shift in a not so upscale restaurant/club/bar, so I can only imagine what kind of money is made in a place of that caliber. He just bugs the crap out of me and is getting really old, i remember in bb1 his stupid "astronaut" thing in the shower and... yeah hes just stupid in the house and getting very old. Erika is the one giving footjobs in the house, Erika is the one making out in the bathtub, Erika is the one under the covers swapping who knows what bodily fluids. I have never ever seen Janelle do anything like that in the house. In fact, I have never even heard anyone, including Janelle, tell any stories or incidents that would tell me Janelle is an "escort" or even promiscuous (for lack of a better word) Erika is the one that sets herself up for this kind of reaction. I'm not even saying I agree that Erika is slutty or whatever, I'm just saying she has done a few things that are bound to cause some people to think that way. Defending Janelle has nothing to do with Erika. That makes no sense. So sorry for the derail... Why did George say he had to sell his car to come on BB?? They are paying him $4000 a week to be here. He was only HOH for what.... 2 days... They didnt give Janelle one last year when she was HOH for only 2 days...too much going on I guess! Yeah, maybe. He just sat there with that obnoxious giggle of his and encouraged them to keep going, even though he could see (or maybe he didn't) that it was getting heated. There is a genuine attitude he brings to the game and he shares that with everyone in the house. I know he won't make it to the end, but I'm still hoping that by some miracle he gets there and shows America that good can over take Dr. Evil, even in the Big Brother House. He's the only one talking about the fact that CT has never been nominated as a team. He's the only one saying (and, I believe, the only one who has EVER said) he'll do it if he wins another HoH. And through it all he hasn't gotten really angry with anyone (he was "upset" with Dani because he felt she set him up to give Marci a vote when everyone else was voting to evict him, but he wasn't angry - and he didn't put her up.) And he laughs at everything (including the fact that he seems to LIVE on the block.) Out of respect for who he is as a PERSON I've been calling him just plain "George," and I urge anyone else who shares my thoughts to do the same in all future postings (I liked Janelle a LOT less when she repeatedly called him "Mr. Fart" while getting ready for prom night.) samg Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 Thought I'd also mention that last week, when George was the replacement nomination and the ONLY one in the house who did NOT get to play for PoV, I never heard the word "backdoor" come out of his mouth. Not once. How many HG's can you remember who were put up as replacements AFTER having played in PoV (and obviously not having won) and who used the word more than a dozen times, who said it to literally everyone in the house before they left? (I'm pretty sure I remember 3 this season alone.) I think even Kaysar (whazzup, Kaysar?) may have used it the week he left too, although he did not play for PoV (which means that technically he was correct) but that was by his choice, so I don't believe the word was strictly applicable in his case either. But I never heard George say it. And after reviewing the spreadsheet, I think that George's nomination was the ONLY true (in the strict sense of the term) "backdoor" so far this season. He will be taking home a decent amount of money for his family considering the time he will spend there and he's got enough crap gathered up to sell on e-bay that he will probably make a decent amount off of that too. I'm sure he'd love to win the whole thing, but win or lose he's at least not running around being rude behind other people's backs or throwing fits. Danielle, James, Marcelles and Howie have all made asses of themselves by getting pissy and there are others that are making asses of themselves as we speak...lol. Frankly, the funniest thing ever would be a final two of George and anyone else in that house and George taking it all.
