12:22 PM BBT to 2:00 PM BBT: The HGs have spent the afternoon getting ready for tonight’s show, with lots of fashion advice going around. Maddy got lots of opinions from Dallas and Tim, and Joel got some tips on his look from Tim and Raul. Loveita and Sharry have a bonding moment where they acknowledge they don’t know what will happen but they care about each other and are happy they met. They’ll have to wait and see. They are both packed. In the HN Chapel, Loveita is told by Dallas, and later by Ramsey that she may stay in the game. Loveita tells Ramsey that people are gunning for Ramsey and Dallas. Loveita was under the covers listening to conversations for 45 minutes and heard Dallas say he is targeting the brothers and Ramsey. Phil confesses he has a little crush on Nikki. Big Brother announces there is one hour before the live show, and shortly after, the feeds go out.

11:07 Several HGs in the WA doing ADLs Others are in the KT. Tim preparing food, others milling about and tidying. 11:11 AM BBT Feeds are out. 12:22 PM BBT Feeds return. Several HGs in the KT..Nikki, Kelsey, Christine, Nick, Mitch, Phil and Ramsey. Others hanging out on or near the blue couches...Jared, Cassandra, Tim. 12:34 PM BBT Dallas and Loveita talking in the HN Chapel. Dallas telling Loveita she is not going home. Cassandra, Joel, Dallas, Raul even said he is voting Sharry out. It’s not in peoples’ best interests to send her home. He has a 90% feeling that Sharry is out the door. Loveita tells him that others have told her that she is staying. Dallas tells Loveita that he doesn’t know where Mitch is at, but Christine even said she would vote Sharry out. Loveita tells Dallas that Sharry is her best friend in the house, so she would be happy to see Sharry continue. It doesn’t feel like a competition and she is happy for a bestie.

6:45 PM BBT Sharry tells Ramsey that she had encouraged Loveita to campaign, but she feels that Loveita has thrown her under the bus. Sharry tells him that he can trust her. Ramsey says that he is leaning toward trusting Sharry more than Loveita. 6:48 PM BBT Sharry tells Ramsey that she is not playing that game of lying to people, and explains that when Nick and Phil wanted to know if she trusts them, she was up front and told them no. She feels her honesty is costing her, but she doesn’t want to be false. They talk about Dallas. Sharry and Ramsey agree that Maddy will probably vote for Sharry. 6:52 PM BBT Nick and Nikki are playing pool in the BY. 6:53 PM BBT Jared and Kelsey are having a cigarette and talking to Dallas about being good at math. 6:58 PM BBT Cassandra, Christine, and Tim are talking about yoga

6:20 PM BBT Ramsey tells Dallas that he will cook Dallas dinner every night of BB if he will go get the tongue and throw it in Phil’s shower. Dallas heads out and Phil runs out of the shower after him to try and stop him. Feeds go out. When they come back, Phil is walking through the house with his towel on. Phil eventually returns to the shower and says he would self-evict if Dallas had done what Ramsey asked. 6:34 PM BBT In the pink BR, Tim and Cassandra joke with Christine, telling her that Tim and Nikki are staying apart because Nikki is a “stage 5 clinger” and that is irresistible to Tim. 6:37 PM BBT Sharry chats with Ramsey in the BR. Ramsey tells her that Joel and Mitch have asked him who is voting for. Ramsey says Maddy has distanced herself. This is a hard decision for Ramsey because he feels loyal to both Loveita and Sharry and trusts both of them. He is trying to figure out how each of them might be influenced by others. Others have commented that they are not sure where Sharry’s head is at. Loveita has made things clearer to them. Ramsey advises her to let people know where she stands, and Sharry tells him she appreciates this information. She is worried about giving her word and not being able to keep it. She could give an empty promise, but she doesn’t think that serves anyone. Sharry feels she is on the block because she was loyal to Loveita.

6:00 PM BBT Several HGs in the KT. Nikki tells Joel what she is cooking. General chitchat as HGs eat. 6:07 PM BBT Dallas is in the WA shaving. 6:08 PM BBT Jared and Kelsey walk through the BY. Jared says he isn’t going to work out today. They join the HGs in the KT. 6:10 PM BBT Tim and Joel in the WA talking about jingles and slogans as Dallas continues shaving. Joel asks Tim whether Australia still has idol. Tim says no, it got cancelled a very long time ago. They talk about Idol contestants whose careers have continued. 6:15 PM BBT Sharry is making a fuss over Dallas about his shave/trim. She says she likes it a lot and says “YES! We can rebuild him!” 6:17 PM BBT Sharry chats with Ramsey and Phil, who are both having showers. Ramsey talks about cutting his beard because he is bored. Sharry says that he doesn’t need to. He is more than his beard. Sharry leaves the WA.

5:05 PM BBT Steve brings the vacuum cleaner into the WA to vacuum up the hair from his haircut. 5:18 PM BBT Vanessa is taking her shower. Liz is eating her tuna melt. Steve reports to Liz in the KT that he is going to finish eating and then he will finish cleaning the bathroom. Liz tells Steve that she can’t get over how different he looks. Liz made the rest of the tuna salad so they will have something quick to eat tomorrow. They expect they will be very busy tomorrow. Liz wonders if they will be locked in the HOHR all day. Steve doesn’t know. Liz asks Steve if he has packed yet and Steve says no. He’ll do that after he finishes cleaning the bathroom. 5:23 PM BBT Liz goes into the WA and finds the vacuum cleaner that Steve left there. She says “oh wow. He really is cleaning the bathroom.” She brushes her hair and then leaves the WA. 5:25 PM BBT Vanessa is still showering. Steve comes into the WA and starts tidying the bottles on the vanity. Liz is sitting at the DT filing her nails. 5:26 PM BBT Vanessa is out of the shower. She grabs her clothes and goes into the WC to change. Steve comes into the KT and asks Liz if she knew when she came into the house, did she know that she would be the one that every guy would flirt with. They talk about who flirted with who. 5:27 PM BBT Steve claims that he was Julia’s flirtmance. Liz tells Steve he is a pretty flirty guy. They talk about when they played spin-the-bottle.

4:33 PM BBT Vanessa and Liz talk about doing an all-nighter for the 24-hour countdown, but Vanessa is worried about being alert for the Part 3 comp. Vanessa remarks that it isn’t the kind of comp where sleep deprivation would matter. You either know what the juror said or you don’t. Liz asks what kind of questions it will be and Vanessa gives some examples. “James said his biggest mistake in the BB house was A. breaking his word “On The Edge” to Shelli and Clay, or B. not targeting Vanessa instead of Shelli and Clay. They compose more questions... Julia said her best/funniest moment in the BB house was A. walking through that front door as herself or B. having Austin try to hit on her in bed thinking it was Liz. 4:43 PM BBT Liz finishes up Vanessa’s hair and then washes her hands before blow-drying her own hair. Steve is lounging on the bench in the WA eating from a bowl. Vanessa gets called out by BB to put on her microphone. 4:49 PM BBT Vanessa and Steve talk about haircutting while they watch Liz do her hair. Steve comments that Liz’s hair warrants Austin removing a certain pony tail. Vanessa and Liz don’t think Austin will do it. Liz says she wishes he would. She doesn’t understand why he is so attached to it. He’s obsessed with it. Liz says she knows her parents hate it. They’re already dying because of the tattoos. They like clean cut. Vanessa says “then there is Austin.” Steve observes that Austin’s insides don’t match his outsides. Steve says there is nothing Judas-like about him. Steve says Austin is very kind, he’s kind-hearted, he’s sweet, he’s caring, he’s intelligent. Liz melts that Steve is saying all these nice things about Austin. 4:52 PM BBT Vanessa is freaking out that it’s only 24 hours. Steve asks if they will recognize him without the beard. Vanessa says “yes Steve.” Vanessa is excited. Steve says that he always knew that if he was in the house before finale, he wouldn’t sleep. Steve thought the last few days would be long, but he says they haven’t been. Vanessa says they have been long enough. 4:54 PM BBT Steve and Vanessa are lounging in the WA talking about Crossword puzzles. Liz is in the KT making a tuna melt. She calls out to Steve to ask what he put in his. Steve says he put tuna, apple and pickle. Clay gave him the idea. Liz says that she would use pickle instead of relish because the relish is too sweet. 4:56 PM BBT Steve and Vanessa talk about when they will get their phones. Steve says the first thing he does is check online update sites. Vanessa says that won’t be the first thing she does. She wants downtime with her girl and her dogs. She tells Steve to quit stressing and he says he isn’t and that she is stressing more. Vanessa says she is just excited. Steve says his haircut feels a lot better and he thanks Vanessa for doing it. She says he is welcome. 4:59 PM BBT Steve says, one more day. Day 97. Vanessa tells Steve that this is a crazy thing that she did. She didn’t realize what she was getting into. Steve asks her what she thought would be different. Vanessa says she didn’t realize how much the isolation would get to her, or how emotionally terrible it would be. It’s also longer than she thought. It’s closer to 4 months than 3. Vanessa is called to the DR.

3:21 PM BBT When feeds return, Vanessa and Steve are in the WA. Vanessa is singing and gets warned by BB. Vanessa sympathizes with the production person who had to listen to that. Steve is getting ready to shave his beard. Liz is in the OBR removing her earrings and changing into her tye-dye t-shirt. 3:32 PM BBT All three HGs are in the WA. Vanessa is dying Liz’s hair, and asks Steve to check the time so they can time it. Steve is still shaving, and Liz is telling him he looks so different. He says he might leave the moustache, and then says he’s kidding. 3:36 PM BBT Steve finishes shaving and both Liz and Vanessa are amazed at how different he looks. Even Steve is shocked at how different he looks. 3:38 PM BBT Vanessa checks out her hair in the WA mirror and says she needs a haircut. Steve is touching up his shave and asks Vanessa if he is sexy. Vanessa says, in a monotone voice, yes Steve, you are very sexy. Vanessa leaves the WA. She crosses paths with Liz on her way to the OBR and tells Liz she is going to have a nap and to wake her when she is done. Liz goes to the WA. She is eating an apple as she gets ready to shower and answers Steve’s questions about how the hair dye works. Steve packs up the shaver to return it. 3:55 PM BBT Liz is showering, and Vanessa is laying down in the OBR. Steve goes into the WC. 3:58 PM BBT Vanessa is sitting on the pillows in the WA. She tells Steve she is bored and can’t sleep. Liz is still in the shower, and Steve is looking for a comb. 4:06 PM BBT Vanessa is cutting Steve’s hair. Liz is still in the shower. 4:10 PM BBT Liz is finishing up in the shower. Steve is in the CBR looking for a belt. He finds it in the OBR and heads back to the WA. He goes into the WC to change clothes. Liz comes out of the shower and Vanessa is lounging and chatting with her. Vanessa teases Liz about shaving her legs. Liz says she just needs to look good in her dress. Liz comments on a bruise, and Vanessa says “you’re complaining to me?” Steve asks Vanessa if she would trim the back of his neck if he goes to get the shaver. She says sure. 4:15 PM BBT Vanessa and Steve are doing ADLs in the WA and Vanessa asks Steve if he thinks it’s odd that they sat upstairs when they only usually do that on days they are doing something. Steve says that they did that at the beginning too. They’re tearing down. We get FotH. When we return, all three HGs are in the WA. Steve is sitting in a chair from the DT waiting for Vanessa to trim the back of his neck with the razor. Liz is combing out her hair. 4:17 PM BBT Vanessa complains that Steve is undoing all the progress she made with him. It makes her sad. Steve says he just wants to go out the way he came in. Vanessa asks him why he doesn’t want to symbolize his journey of transformation. Steve says he just knew when he was doing this stuff he would want to undo it before finale night. Liz wonders what Steve’s mom thinks of this. Steve says he has no idea. Liz notes that it’s one hour away from 24-hour countdown! 4:18 PM BBT Vanessa finishes with Steve’s trim. Liz tells Vanessa it’s her turn. Steve leaves the WA and goes to the CBR and drops the clothes he changed out of. He puts on some socks and grabs his blue hoodie. He mutters about Austin’s promises. He grabs a tissue and blows his nose, then goes to the KT still carrying his hoodie. He returns to the WA and then remembers that he needs to request the vacuum so he can clean up the hair in the WA. The girls suggest he ask for alcohol. Steve says he’s never done that. The girls don’t think they would get it anyway. Steve goes to the DR as Liz prepares to dye Vanessa’s roots. 4:22 PM BBT Liz keeps repeating that it’s 24-hour countdown. It’s the final countdown. She can hardly breathe. Liz is fussing with gloves as she gets ready to apply the dye to Vanessa’s hair. 4:29 PM BBT Steve is pacing back and forth between the KT and the LR. He goes to the KT to grab a handful of snacks and then eats them as he paces. In the WA, Liz and Vanessa are chatting about being able to maintain their hair because they won so many HOHs. Liz says they screwed her because even when she won HOH and she was dethroned... we get FotH. When we return, Vanessa is directing Liz not to miss a section.

12:10 AM BBT After pacing around the KT, looking at the memory wall, eating a lime. Steve goes to the Cabana Room Lounge and says this is his Liz speech. We hear fragments of it as he stops and starts. He talks about walking into the house 98 days ago. He mentions knowing he wouldn’t have much of a life in this game because of being a nerd who is socially awkward. Spelling Trombonist in week 1 put a huge.... umm.. Between his complete lack of social skills and inability to read people... trombonist.... he claps his hands and paces and hums. We get FotH. 12:14 AM BBT Steve mentions four factors that jurors should consider when they cast their vote. He lists them off. The twin twist, social game, competitions, and strategic game. The game was made easier for Liz by the twin twist, because she was only being in the house half the time. How different would your game have been if you got three weeks off. Plus she had someone in the house that she could trust no matter what. No one else had that. Everyone else always had to watch their back, but Liz didn’t have to do that. 12:15 AM BBT Steve continues practising his Liz speech. Social game. Liz spent all her time with Austin. Steve took more time getting to know everyone and establishing personal connections. He mentions things he learned about different jurors... Shelli’s crush on Abe Lincoln, Jackie’s friendship with Hailey and Blair, James love for... Meg’s deep passion for music theory. Steve remembers another thing he can mention and starts over, this time including something about Becky’s boyfriend. We get FotH. 12:20 AM BBT When feeds return, Steve is running across the KT to the WA hallway. He goes into the WA and then doubles back to the CRL to continue his speech practising. He says he is going to skip the part about social game. He’s going to pass on Vanessa or Liz knowing that he....? Steve mumbles as he leaves the CRL and goes to the WC. 12:22 AM BBT Steve comes out of the WC, washes his hands, then returns to the CRL. He hums as he paces and then stops to look at himself in the glass. He leaves the CRL and goes back to the WA to clean his glasses. He blows his nose and washes his hands again briefly, then goes back to the CRL. He continues his practise... competitions. Steve says he stuck his neck out there. He made a big move when he went after Jackie, who was the strongest competitor in the alliance opposing his alliance. He’s been HOH four times. Liz has only been HOH three times and she was dethroned for one of them. Steve has won 2 vetos, and Liz has only won 1. He took time for social game and he deserves their vote tonight. Strategic game. Liz spent the entire game hiding behind Austin and Liz [Julia?]... Steve made a lot of very strong moves in the game that were his own moves and not just piggy-backing someone else. He mentions Jackie again. Steve was the first person to make the big move of going after Liz and Austin. Steve practises saying that Becky tried to get Vanessa out, but Steve is the one who finally got Vanessa out. Liz just followed others, but Steve started trends in the game. The trends that Steve started got him here today. After each of his four factors, Steve says “if you voting based on [that factor], I deserve your vote tonight. Steve says he doesn’t want to be too forceful or intense. He wishes he had a way to time it. He continues pacing and begins practising his speech for when he votes to evict Vanessa.

11:51 PM BBT Feeds return to Liz in the KT making room for cake pops, saying they are more important than apple juice. BB says “Vanessa! Steve! Liz!” The HGs all pause where they are and BB says pleasantly “Thank you for your cooperation.” The HGs all say “what!?” and accuse BB of being bored. They all go to the OBR. Liz goes to her bed, and Vanessa gives Steve a massage. Vanessa makes sure to tell Mel that this is a friend thing because Steve is in pain. As Vanessa starts on his shoulders, Steve makes moaning sounds and Vanessa stops, saying “You CANNOT make sounds!” Steve agrees to be quiet and the massage continues. Steve is kneeling on the day bed, and Vanessa is standing behind and working in his shoulders and back. Steve tells her the pressure is too much. Soon after, Vanessa complains that her hands are still hurting from the Part I comp. Steve thanks her and offers to reciprocate and Vanessa says she is still too bruised. She is going to get one heck of a professional massage when she gets out of the house. Vanessa turns the lights out and gets into bed. 11:55 PM BBT Vanessa says she is going to be dreaming about Chines Poker now. She has a hand in her head right now. Vanessa and Liz fall silent, but Steve is still moving around. He leaves the room, and comes back. Then he goes into the CBR to get Cocoa and continues on to the WA. 11:59 PM BBT Vanessa and Liz are going to sleep in the darkened OBR. Steve is in the KT snacking.

11:38 PM BBT Play continues. Steve beats Liz on each hand...he scoops her and gets six points. Liz complains that she is getting the worst cards. Steve needs 3 to win...it’s right down to the wire. 11:40 PM BBT Vanessa coaches Liz. All Liz needs is one point. If she has one sure thing...she just needs the one point to win. Steve tries to shush Vanessa. Liz whines about Steve getting pairs...how does he do that when she hasn’t gotten than in like, forever. Steve realizes he missed a card, and he re-sorts his hand. Steve finishes sorting first and is impatient with Liz. They reveal cards... they each get 2 points, and Liz wins the game! Vanessa gives Steve credit for closing the gap. Liz says she is going to go brush her teeth and get ready for her slumber. Vanessa says “they don’t want to play any more cards. They are all carded out.” Steve is playing with the beach ball. He asks Vanessa for a hug, and she tells him to be careful of her neck. She says she is 60% better, but she still has 40% pain. Vanessa whispers that she is tired, and Steve asks if she wants to go to sleep. She says maybe and checks the time. She comments that they killed time well tonight. Vanessa suggests putting away snacks. She starts and Steve doesn’t help out, so she teases him that she meant she would do it. Steve asks Vanessa when tomorrow. Vanessa says they will feel it out unless he wants an exact time. He says it will be awkward after and Vanessa says she told him. They decide this time tomorrow [when they will tell Liz that they are taking each other to F2, and not her]. 11:48 PM BBT Steve and Vanessa are in the WA doing nightly ADLs. Liz comes out of the WC and washes her hands. Steve says that they all definitely have loved ones in LA right now. We get FotH.

11:00 PM BBT Vanessa counts up the points... 35 to 37. Only 2 points difference. Vanessa says she made a big comeback. She only has five points. Steve asks if they are playing again, and Vanessa says yes. Liz says they are almost there. As Liz deals, Steve hums. Vanessa says humming is the same as singing. They talk about another match and Steve isn’t sure he’ll play another match after this. As he sorts his hand, Steve says he’s excited for the finale and excited to go home. Excited to complete the experience and to have this as part of it. 11:03 PM BBT Vanessa asks Steve if she can “sweat” him. Steve says he doesn’t know what that means. Vanessa says “watch” and she pulls her chair closer so she can watch Steve sort his hand. 11:04 PM BBT Vanessa gives Steve some pointers and tells him that he didn’t even look for flushes and straights. Vanessa tells Steve that his overall strategy is interesting but there are a lot of holes in it. Steve goes through his hand again while Liz waits patiently with her sorted cards laid out face-down. 11:06 PM BBT They reveal hands and Steve and Liz each get two points. Vanessa tells Liz about Steve’s strategy. Liz deals another hand. 11:09 PM BBT Vanessa watches Steve sort his hand again. Steve asks her if she disagrees with his strategy. She tells him that she understands why he is losing. He’s not doing the mental work to find the right answer. He asks how he can improve. Liz is revealing her cards while Steve and Vanessa discuss. Vanessa tells Steve he will re-arrange his hand after they count out between Liz and Steve. Vanessa says she is trying to prove a point that Steve doesn’t put full attention in. 11:13 PM BBT Vanessa finally finishes looking through and rearranging Steve’s hand and admits that she would have gotten the same score as Steve did. Steve and Liz are in the KT, and neither one responds. 11:16 PM BBT Liz deals out another hand. Vanessa returns to the table, grabs her cards and starts sorting. Steve is in the KT, then goes to the WA to splash water on his face before returning to the DT to sort his cards. Steve ask if they are all playing now, and Vanessa says she is just f’ing around. 11:19 PM BBT BB tells Steve to make sure his battery tray is plugged in. Steve fixes it. Liz says that never happens to her. BB says thank you very much and Steve says “you’re welcome.” Vanessa comments that she likes that BB is very polite. Liz has her hand laid out, and is playing with her hair while she waits for Steve. 11:21 PM BBT Cards are revealed. Liz beats Steve top and second, Steve beats Liz third and bottom. Two and two. Steve is at 180 and Liz at 197. She is three points away. Vanessa deals to Liz and Steve and includes a “dummy” hand for herself. Liz teases that Vanessa can’t help it...she has to play with them. 11:24 PM BBT Steve says he is sleepy. He comments that this is their last full day in Big Brother. Vanessa says true story. Hands are counted up... Steve gets 6 points. Liz still needs three points to win, and Steve still needs 14. Vanessa says that they both beat her on her dummy hand. Steve repeats that he is sleepy. Liz says everything makes him sleepy. Steve says he gets to see his mommy in a few days. She is 100% in LA or a close suburb. Liz teases that his mom isn’t coming. Steve insists that she’ll be there. 11:28 PM BBT Steve finishes sorting and they flip. Liz wins 1 and Steve wins 3. Liz says this is going to be a long three points! She has*** just two points to go. The camera moves and Liz comments. Steve points to a camera and says they are on that one. Steve comments that the hanging camera used to be at the center of the table.

2:00 PM BBT Vanessa asks Liz and Steve if they are interested in learning a new game. Steve says no because his bowl doesn’t have legs. Vanessa asks if he liked that line...it came from her mother. Vanessa looks disappointed that they don’t want to try a new game. 2:04 PM BBT Liz and Steve are joking and teasing about cleaning up their plate. Vanessa has convinced Steve and Liz to learn a new game. As they sit down, Steve whispers “so much estrogen.” The ladies ignore him. Vanessa starts explaining the game. Steve figures out part of it and Vanessa says that he’ll win this game. Liz complains that she doesn’t like this game. She doesn’t get it. Vanessa keeps giving examples to demonstrate to Liz. Liz lays them out to test her understanding. Vanessa says that Liz’s setup is valid and then explains how points work. She works through the points they would get with the two hands dealt, and then suggests an alternate way for Liz to have laid out her hand. 2:11 PM BBT They deal out a hand for each player, but instead of laying them out, they have to arrange their cards into three hands while holding them. Steve says that sounds hard, and Vanessa suggests that he can lay down groups of cards as he arranges them the way he wants. Steve asks Vanessa to repeat the ranking in order of weakest to strongest. Vanessa tells him one pair, two pair, three of a kind, straight, flush, full house, four of a kind. Then straight flush, but that won’t happen. 2:13 PM BBT Liz is ready to go, but Steve isn’t done sorting his hand yet. There are two five-card hands, and one three-card hand. They finish sorting and then reveal their hands. Steve asks Vanessa to tell him the order one more time. Vanessa walks them through the points in each hand and how Liz’s layout compares to Vanessa’s. Vanessa beats Liz on all three hands, and gets an extra point for the “scoop” (beating all three hands). In Steve’s vs. Vanessa’s hand, Steve wins two points and Vanessa wins one. Steve wins 4 points vs. Liz’s hand. Liz asks what they would have done with her hand and Vanessa gives her pointers. 2:17 PM BBT Vanessa asks if they like the game. It’s called Chinese poker. Liz says it’s fun. Steve is shuffling. We get FotH. When feeds return, the HGs are going to the SR for treats. They exclaim over cake pops designed to remind them of former HGs. There is one for Grandma Meg and Audrey, and Jason “Oh Mylanta”... even Zingbot and OTEV. Vanessa says they look too good to eat. Liz says they need to have some right now. Liz holds up different cake pops for the live feeders and then they sit down to have another hand of Chinese Poker. 2:28 PM BBT The HGs are sorting through hands for the next round. Vanessa tells Steve she is going to give him a run for his money. Vanessa is called to the DR. Vanessa tells them what she has. They count up points and Vanessa goes to DR. Liz asks Steve to explain the points to her because he understands it better than her. She counts it up and asks him to confirm whether she has it right. 2:31 PM BBT Steve picks up all the cards to shuffle them. They talk about Vanessa being called to DR. Steve figures that they will all be called. Steve says he is gonna fool with Vanessa and give her an awesome hand. Then he changes his mind and decides to make it believable by giving her a royal flush and then junk. Liz is giggling. Having pulled out Vanessa’s hand, he deals out hands for himself and Liz. He deals too many cards, and has to fix it. Liz asks if a straight is as good as flush. Steve says Vanessa is gonna flip when she sees her hand, and he will have to act as if he just dealt it to her. He makes sure her hand looks adequately shuffled so that Vanessa is not suspicious. Liz does her set-up and asks Steve if he would do what she did. Steve gives her feedback and they discuss different layouts. 2:35 PM BBT Steve helps Liz with her hand and then says he can hardly wait to see Vanessa flip when she sees her hand. Liz does dishes while Steve paces. They chat back and forth as they wait for Vanessa. 2:40 PM BBT Vanessa returns from DR and they all sit down to play. Vanessa looks at the score. Liz and Steve have 9 so far, and Vanessa has 11. Close game. Liz is smirking and hiding her smile. Vanessa lays her hand out decisively and munches on chips and dip. Steve asks if Aces are high or low, and Liz frowns and says “high, Steve.” Vanessa shows no sign of being surprised by her hand as she waits for Steve to finish his layout. They reveal their hands. Steve says we are very sneaky. Vanessa says what did you do? Steve says we may or may not have given you a royal flush. Vanessa says she was so happy! Liz razzes her that she didn’t show any sign. Vanessa says she had her poker face on. She was planning to show a big smile when she revealed her hand. They ruined her surprise by telling her before she even got to reveal. The jokes on her. They re-deal. 2:50 PM BBT The HGs continue playing Chinese Poker. Liz asks again which hands beat which hands. Steve affirms that a flush beats two pair. Vanessa is concentrating on her hand as Steve helps Liz. Steve says “Oh Mylanta!” and comments that Jason left his mark on the season. Steve says he likes that Jeff’s main contribution to the season is the word “Scamper”. Liz is still checking the rank of hands with Steve as Vanessa works out her hand. 2:53 PM BBT They reveal their hands and count them out. Liz gets no points in the round. They talk about the royal flush they planted in Vanessa’s hand. Vanessa deals again. 2:58 PM BBT Another hand is revealed, and the points counted up. Vanessa says that Steve needs a nickname. Steve is Sneaky Steve. Liz is Grabby Fingers. Vanessa is Grandma Four-eyes. Steve points out that she is not wearing her four eyes. Vanessa puts on a grandma voice and says she has misplaced her glasses. She recaps. They are playing Chinese poker and Grandma four-eyes is in the lead with 26 points, followed by Sneaky Steve with 18 and close on his heals Grabby Fingers, who’s gainin’. They joke around, talking with accents as Vanessa deals and says “good luck.” 3:10 PM BBT The game of Chinese Poker continues. Vanessa recaps the score is 49, 30, and 34 (Vanessa, Steve, and Liz). Steve is really tired. Vanessa asks him why he is so tired. What is he doing? Steve says he scampers with the beefcakes. We get FotH briefly. Steve tells Vanessa and Liz that he stays up quite late. Last night he was very nostalgic.

11:36 PM BBT Steve gets out of the pool and moves to the HT. He runs back to the pool to get the rubber ducky and the beach ball. He brings them to the HT and gets in. He pulls the rubber ducky out and sets it on the side. Steve is murmuring to himself about his complete lack of social skills. 11:42 PM BBT Steve is out of the HT with his towel around his shoulders. He is pacing and muttering. BB tells Steve to put on his microphone. He complies and BB says thank you. Steve says “you’re welcome.” He tells BB that he shouldn’t have to thank him for doing something he should already be doing, but BB is welcome. Steve is talking to himself about what Johnny Mac would do. He is counting Scamper Squad votes that would be against him. He begins practising what he would say to Vanessa as a jury member ...that she knows in her heart that he made the right move [evicting her]. Steve says he would rather have lost to Vanessa than Liz, but he made the best decision he could at the time. Steve says his Liz argument is more the way he thinks. He likes his Liz speech. No one can know he’s making a Liz speech, including Liz. Steve asks himself if he should take Liz and then answers, you know it’s the best move. He can’t believe it, but he’s going to get rid of Vanessa. 11:53 PM BBT Steve is talking through past moves. He doesn’t think Johnny Mac would have taken him over Liz. He counts votes he would have had if he had gone to Final 2 with Johnny Mac. 11:56 PM BBT All is quiet in the OBR as Vanessa and Liz rest. Meanwhile, Steve continues to pace the back yard and debate what would have happened if he had been in final 3 with Johnny Mac and Liz. He coaches himself not to lie when he doesn’t have to. He recalls and talks through different past events in the house.

11:02 PM BBT The HGs talk about eating too much. Vanessa says she is disgusted with herself. She has a little tummy right now and that’s not okay. Steve says that Mel will still love her. Vanessa addresses the camera and says to Mel, if she is listening, she should come out on Tuesday, bring the dogs, and get a hotel room nearby so that they can feed the dogs before they go out. Liz is excited to meet the dogs. Liz starts to get the trash out, and looks over at Steve with a sweet smile and asks him to help. Steve says, “if by help, you mean do it..” He lifts the bag and takes it to the Storage Room as Liz tells him he used to be a deadbeat, but now he’s hubby material. 11:08 PM BBT Liz is putting clothes away in the OBR cupboard. Steve is sprawled out on the day bed. Vanessa asks if it’s bedtime yet. Liz says she’s obese and Steve says she is not even close to that. Liz says she feels like it. Vanessa and Liz make a plan to work out tomorrow. Liz heads to the BY to put some clothes in the washer as Steve comments that he is still deciding whether to keep the beard. 11:10 PM BBT Vanessa pops a cold pack and Steve asks if she just did that without him. says that she is going to lay down and ice her neck. She checks with Steve first and turns out the lights in the OBR and BB says “Bedroom lights must remain on.” Vanessa says, what about if we are sleeping? Steve keeps chatting and BB repeats the warning, so Steve stops talking. Vanessa says he can tell her the story later. Her neck is hurting and she needs to ice it for a little bit. Steve sits quietly on the daybed in the darkened room for a few moments, then gets up and goes to the KT. He grabs a snack and his blue hoodie and pauses in front of the memory wall, then puts on the hoodie and heads out to the BY. 11:15 PM BBT Liz is in the WA brushing her teeth. Vanessa is laying down in the darkened OBR. Steve is in the CBR grabbing his trunks. He goes to the KT and cleans out a glass before heading back to the CBR to get a few more items. He comes out into the KT and sees Liz, who asks if he is going to have a shower. He says he is going out to the pool. 11:18 PM BBT In the LR, Liz picks up the Jenga pieces that she knocked over earlier. 11:21 PM BBT Liz asks Steve to clean his cheese mug before he goes to bed. He says he already did, but he will clean the mug that is there. Liz apologizes for thinking it was his mug. Steve cleans the mug. Liz comments that they have 2 POP TV bags and just need one more. Steve says he wouldn’t use it, so Liz and Vanessa can have them. Steve goes out to the pool and Liz tidies up the snacks in the KT then goes to the OBR with the POP TV bags. She tells Vanessa that Steve doesn’t want one, so they get them. Liz lays down and pulls the covers over. 11:25 PM BBT Steve is in the pool rehearsing his speech. 11:29 PM BBT Steve continues to repeat his speech for evicting Vanessa if he wins the third part of the HOH comp. He practises telling her that she is the best female player and that she has driven their alliance and that he can’t beat her. She is Derrick and that makes him Cody, and that’s why he has to evict her. He keeps drilling it.

11:31 PM BBT Steve comments that now Liz is collecting 8s. Steve has one. Liz says she has three and that’s good enough. Steve is considering putting another warm patch on his back. He tells Liz that she has no idea how much he loves these warm patches. 11:33 PM BBT Liz gets 14 points on the next hand. Liz says she’ll cash that ticket! They talk about phrases they have learned in the house. 11:38 PM BBT Liz wins the next hand with 5 points. Steve says he made a bad move. He could have busted her, but he missed the opportunity. Steve shuffles for the next hand. Steve says he’s undecided whether shuffling is an advantage or a disadvantage. Liz points out that they have been playing Gin for 3 hours. Liz says she needed this to take her mind off of things. Liz wonders why they couldn’t have cards in the house throughout. Steve says it’s for the same reason they don’t have books. It’s not fun to watch people read or play cards. 11:40 PM BBT Steve asks Liz what her move is “Bucko.” Liz says “don’t you Bucko me!” They laugh. 11:44 PM BBT Steve and Liz lay out their hands. Steve has 14... Liz gets 11 points. Liz says “yayyy” Steve tells her she is catching up. He teases that he doesn’t like that. Steve goes to the fridge as Liz shuffles. Liz says she is getting better at shuffling and Steve agrees. Steve once again mentions the warm patch he has on his neck. Liz tells him he is obsessed. He really likes it...it’s like a girl’s hand on his neck, except that girls don’t touch him. They deal out the hand. Steve says he is not sure about taking the up-card. He says he will take one for the team. Liz says she doesn’t want to hear it. 11:47 PM BBT Steve says “ooooh” and Liz says “oh no!” Liz examines her hand and says “oh good! Will you look at that?!” Play continues. Steve says he will cash that ticket, and lays down his hand. They count it up. Liz has 11, Steve has 4, so Steve gets 7 points. Liz leaves the table to go to the WC. Steve shuffles the deck. 11:51 PM BBT Liz takes her seat at the DT and Steve deals out the next round. They sort the cards in their hand. Steve wonders if Liz will take the up-card. Liz considers her hand and takes the up-card. The hand plays out and Steve shouts WTF and lays out his hand. Liz plays on Steve’s hand, and they cancel what they can. They count it up and Steve gets 35 points. Liz tells Steve “good job.” Steve says “tee hee” and adjusts his Wheaties and M&Ms. Liz asks him why he decided to lay down his cards so early and he explains that a lot of his cards were low count. Liz says she’ll start doing that. 11:56 PM BBT They deal again. Steve takes a card from the deck and then shouts “SH!T” repeatedly. He should have taken the up-card. Liz lets him do over and Steve puts the card from the deck in the middle of the deck, and then takes the up-card. Steve lays out his hand early. He has 7 points left in his hand. They start cancelling and trying to lay out. Steve ends up with 16 points. It’s Steve’s turn to deal. As Steve shuffles he comments that Liz is catching up. They talk about drinking games as Steve continues to shuffle the deck.

11:00 PM BBT Steve explains it to Liz that because she bluffed and then lost, he actually gets an extra 20 points. Liz didn’t realize that. Steve says he feels bad to do that and Liz asks why? It’s a game! She says please don’t feel sorry for me! I hate it when people feel sorry for me. They deal out another hand. 11:05 PM BBT It’s very quiet as Liz and Steve take turns. Steve is whispering something to Liz and she tells him she is not playing into his shenanigans. Steve says “oooh” and Liz says “Steeevuh” She doesn’t like when he says that. She makes up a little song about Steve being sneaky and then hums a bit. BB says “Please stop singing!” The hand ends and Liz has 9, Steve has 27. Liz gets 18 points. They adjust the Wheaties and M&Ms to reflect the score. 11:08 PM BBT Steve goes to the fridge and comments that he’s happy that he put this heat patch on. Both of them say they are not that sore anymore from the Part I endurance comp. Steve tells Liz about the heat patch and that it lasts for several hours. Steve has Liz touch the patch and she is surprised that it IS warm. They deal out another hand. 11:13 PM BBT Vanessa sits up in the darkened OBR and reaches for a snack. She sits up in bed and munches on chips. She gets up out of bed as BB says to stop singing, and comes out to the DT. She sits down at the DT and watches Liz and Steve play cars. Steve has 4. Liz says she has more than that, but then Vanessa points out that Liz can play off Steve’s hand. Steve ends up with 1 point. Steve and Vanessa clarify the rules about how the winner is determined when one player can play off the other player’s hand and that the 20-point bonus would have come into play if Liz had beat Steve after playing off his hand. 11:17 PM BBT Vanessa asks Liz what she had in her hand when she called it earlier and Steve got the 20-point bonus. Liz can’t recall and asks if there is a rule of thumb. Vanessa says it depends how far they are in the game. Early on, you can lay your hand down with quite a bit, but later in the game you shouldn’t really do it. Vanessa shouts out to Pop TV that she has created a monster. Liz says yes she has. Steve says he just likes this warm patch on the back of his neck. Vanessa starts to give tips about how to get more advanced by looking at how another player is holding their hand. The way a player groups their cards is an indication of how close they are to Gin. Steve says he doesn’t want to play that way. Vanessa asks why not? It’s part of the game. 11:21 PM BBT Liz wins the next hand and gets 11 points. One Wheatie and one M&M. Steve comments again on the warm patch on his neck and how much it’s helping him. Vanessa goes to the fridge but then says she has to stop eating. She heads back to the OBR to lay down. Liz and Steve deal out another hand. 11:27 PM BBT Steve wins the next hand and gets six points. Liz notes that Steve was collecting 8s and calls him sneaky. Steve comments about enjoying the human interaction without any cell phones. He says he’ll miss this in a week. Liz agrees. No distractions. Just sharing an experience of losing at Gin, Steve says. Oh wait, that is an experience Liz is having on her own, Steve corrects himself. Liz sings and we get FotH. They look at the time and say that they are on TV. They wonder if people would bother watching them play cards.

11:30 PM BBT BB tells Liz to report to the HOHR. Liz is wondering what is going on but she grabs her stuff and heads up to the HOHR. 11:35 PM BBT Vanessa is laying down in the HOHR. Liz is sitting on the couch there listening to music. Steve is in the HOHR WA washing his face. Steve wonders what they are there for and wishes he brought his PJs so he could have showered. 11:39 PM BBT Steve tells Liz that he was a big fan of “Scar” ...the villain in Lion King. He also liked Captain Hook. He likes villains. Steve’s mom collects tinkerbell stuff. Liz observes that his whole family likes Disney. 11:41 PM BBT Liz and Steve talk about rides at Disney World and Epcot. Vanessa gets up and goes to the HOHR WC. 11:44 PM BBT Steve and Liz talk about motion simulators and Tower of Terror on the HOHR couch, while Vanessa is tucked into the bed resting. 11:46 PM BBT Steve asks what the date of the finale. Liz says that Vanessa said the 23rd. Steve wonders if Vanessa was sure of that. He looks across to Vanessa, but she has her beanie pulled down over her eyes. They figure out that today is Sept 18th. 11:49 PM BBT Liz is wondering why they are on HOHR lockdown. Steve says he has no idea. Liz asks what if the jury came in there. Steve says he doesn’t know why they would do that. They talk about Becky saying she would share her $5,000 win. Steve says you can buy gifts, but you can’t actually share winnings. 11:50 PM BBT Liz and Steve talk about a prior season where one HG wanted to pay for another HGs college tuition. 11:52 PM BBT Liz complains that she is starving and wants out of the HOHR. Steve asks if she wants M&Ms and she says no. He asks if they have Pringles but she says no. Steve starts singing and we get FotH briefly. Steve says he used to know what that translated to. She says it and says she doesn’t know what she is saying. Steve starts singing it again, and he is asked to stop it. 11:55 PM BBT Steve and Liz talk about the comp. Liz says her dad is going to kill her because he’s so good at crossword puzzles. Steve points out that crossword puzzles don’t have counterweights. Liz says it was so hard. Steve agrees that it was. Liz talks about the one that stumped her. Steve says it was the first one he did. Liz says the first one she did was HOH. They both got different things right away. They continue comparing notes.

11:10 PM BBT Feeds are back and it looks like Steve won Part 2! 11:11 PM BBT Steve isn’t sure how to handle things with Liz. He doesn’t want her to feel bad. Vanessa tells him to just be normal. He’s overthinking. Vanessa asks who many minutes they were apart... under 3 minutes difference. Liz says she got cuts. There was one question that stumped her... a question about something that happened twice this summer. There was an exact number of letters and only the letters needed, so coming down to the last one it was a word scramble. 11:14 PM BBT Liz is having a shower and Steve is whispering to Vanessa as they sit at the DT. He’s glad he played that instead of Vanessa. Vanessa says goodbye to outside and Steve says it was a big set-up. It was a different version of the spider web. They both like that comp. Steve says it’s his favourite part 2 comp ever. 11:15 PM BBT Vanessa tells Steve great job and hugs him, and then cautions him that she is still injured and be careful of the neck. Vanessa points out that they are in finals. It’s over. Steve is in shock and amazed. They alternate between celebrating in hushed voices and talking about Vanessa’s neck and meds. 11:19 PM BBT Vanessa and Steve talking by the DT. Steve tells Vanessa that he took his time in the comp to make sure he was thinking straight. She asks him if he’s excited. She suggests that he let it sit and tell her on Monday about their F2 deal. The later the better unless he wants to deal with campaigning. Steve says he trusts Vanessa’s judgement. Steve can’t believe they are having this conversation. He tells her he trusts her. Steve is amazed, saying he is guaranteed $50K. Vanessa says it’s insane. It’s gonna change his life. Vanessa tells him he made it all the way. It doesn’t even matter what happens. Just get his speech ready. She talks about the effect of meds on her and hopes it doesn’t affect her in the last part. She says the meds have really helped. 11:22 Steve is overwhelmed and excited. She tells him he deserves to be happy. He tells Vanessa he never believed her....she was a liar...he can’t believe it. 11:29 PM BBT Steve is listening to music in the HOHR. Vanessa is laying down in the HOHR bed. Liz is in the WA, getting out of the shower.

12:35 AM BBT Vanessa and Liz talk about the impact of the comp and all their aches and pains. Vanessa asks how Liz’s session went and Liz says good, and now she just needs to sleep. They are quiet a few moments and then Vanessa bursts out laughing at the thought of having to wear a neck brace on the show. Vanessa says it would help but she would be laughing so hard at how it looks. Liz imagines Vanessa in a neck brace at finale night. Liz laughs and says like the girl in Mean Girls that gets hit by the bus. They talk about neck braces and car accidents. Vanessa says she has never injured her neck. Liz says that there is a first for everything, especially in BB. Liz asks when Vanessa thinks comps will be and Vanessa guesses early afternoon. They are quiet. In the CBR, Steve is tucked in but not sleeping yet.

12:00 AM BBT Vanessa comes out to the KT, and Steve asks her if Jeff was a have-not. They discuss it and decide Jeff was never a have-not. Vanessa asks Steve if her neck looks swollen. Steve says that as far as he can tell it looks normal. He asks for a hug and she says yes, but not too hard. She is worried that she might have a herniated disk. Steve says his job is to take care of her tomorrow. She comments on the candy land he has laid out and that he has more charts going than she had. Steve says she knows what every one of them is. She comes over and he quizzes her on what each of them are. She looks at one and guesses correctly what it represents. 12:03 AM BBT Vanessa encourages Steve not to stress too much and to get some sleep. He says he wants to drill veto more, and then he’ll sleep. Vanessa says it’s impressive how much he wants it. She is still worrying about her neck as she leaves him to study. 12:13 AM BBT Liz and Steve are both studying. Liz hums a little as she gets up to use the WC. 12:18 AM BBT Steve is pacing and running through things and finally decides he will go to sleep. He gathers up his candy and goes to the OBR. Vanessa asks him if he was moving furniture. He says no. She asks where his oranges are. Steve starts to try to sit on the bed, but her legs are splayed and there is no room. Steve tries to hug her and she says to be careful of her bruises, so he backs off. Vanessa says that she is a hot mess. Steve thanks her for winning yesterday. Vanessa tells him she had no choice and he asks why she had no choice. Vanessa says that once she got past a certain point she knew it would be like this and she was not going to get off for anything. They say goodnight. Vanessa tells him he’ll kill it. Steve decides to move into the CBR. He grabs his stuff and goes into the CBR. Vanessa says goodnight. 12:22 AM BBT Liz hears a loud popping noise and startles. She asks what the hell was that and gets up to check it out. She stands at the entrance to the KT and listens for a moment. As she goes back to study in the CBR she says it sounded like a light bulb cracking. 12:25 AM BBT Cameras 1 and 2 are on Liz studying in the CRL and Cameras 3 and 4 are on a darkened and quiet OBR. We get FotH. 12:28 AM BBT Feeds return to Liz standing in front of the memory wall and the darkened OBR. Steve comes out of the CBR and goes out to the KT. Liz is at the fridge getting water. Steve is looking for Cocoa, and Liz says she doubts Cocoa is in the washroom and suggests that Steve check the day bed. She goes back to studying in the CRL. Steve goes back to the OBR to look for Cocoa. Vanessa tells Steve that Cocoa is in the Comic room. Steve had Cocoa in his hand earlier and even commented that he had him. Steve turns the lights on in the CBR and searches for Cocoa. He doesn't find him. Steve goes into the OBR again and Vanessa asks if he found Cocoa. He says no. Vanessa asks for help with an ice pack. Liz comes into the OBR and Steve finds Cocoa and goes to the CBR.

11:41 PM BBT Steve is pacing in the KT listing off the competitions using his hands to count them off. He stops to eat some cereal. Liz is in the CRL using cereal and M&Ms to study. 11:45 PM BBT Steve comes out of the WC, takes off his glasses and splashes water on his face. He gargles and spits and picks up his glasses and exclaims that the pens of his glasses are red. He goes to the KT and stands by the DT facing the memory board with his eyes closed. He has his cereal and M&Ms set up on the DT. 11:48 PM BBT Steve comes into the CRL and notes that Liz is studying with cereal and skittles. He tells her that’s very sneaky of her. Steve says he has a serious problem. He just took a dump and when he wiped it was solid red. Liz says eww and asks what it means...was the dump red? Steve says no. Liz says that’s disgusting. Steve asks if that has happened to her. She says no, but she hasn’t done number two yet. She is disgusted. Steve says he will leave her to her studying. He comments that he doesn’t know what her system is, and he says that if it makes sense to her then the job is done. Liz says she isn’t as technical as him. She’s glad he doesn’t understand her system. Steve says goodnight and leaves the room. Liz is using a different format. Instead of a grid, she has things spread out across the two small tables. 11:58 PM BBT Liz and Steve continue to study; Liz in the CRL, and Steve pacing in the KT.

11:01 PM BBT Liz comes into the darkened OBR where Steve and Vanessa are talking. Steve is telling them how much he and his mom plans things out. Steve prepared birthday and other holiday cards before he came into the house and left them with his mom to give at the appropriate time. Steve says goodnight to Liz and Vanessa and goes to the CBR. 11:03 PM BBT A few minutes pass and Vanessa whispers to Liz that if Steve is in the shower, Vanessa will quiz Liz. She sends Liz to go check if Steve is in the shower. Liz heads to the KT to get water from the fridge. Steve comes out of the WA and shows Liz that the shorts he wears for showering are ruined by the candy dip goo. Liz tells him that she really thinks he can shower naked and no one will see his package. Steve asks Liz for a hug and tells Liz they are both too stressed. He sits down and begins telling Liz a story about him worrying. BB tells him to put on his microphone and he goes back to the WA to get it, then returns to the KT to talk to Liz. 11:07 PM BBT Liz and Steve talk about being a worry wart and always needing to be prepared. Liz says she always needed to study. Steve says he was okay with sight singing. Liz asks “sight singing?” and Steve explains that it means singing a piece of music that you haven’t seen before. Steve talks about his dad having much more stress. Steve says his worst case scenario is significantly better than his dad’s best case scenario. His dad just wanted to come home alive. Steve is in a parking lot on a TV show. They say goodnight and Steve heads to the WA talking to himself and saying he was definitely banking on not being cast for the show. 11:14 PM BBT Vanessa and Liz are reviewing all the competitions and days. Vanessa lists stuff and Liz corrects her on one. Vanessa says Liz is right and they continue. 11:17 PM BBT Steve comes through the OBR to look for something in the CBR. Liz asks Steve what he’s doing? Is he naked? Steve is wearing a towel and they tease him a bit as he tells them it feels very strange to shower naked. He leaves the room and heads back to the WA and Vanessa whispers to Liz that Steve has FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). She says that what Steve just did was scatterbrained and it’s possible he just came in to see if they were still awake. Vanessa explains to Liz her method of studying. She suggests making a 4 x 4 grid of cheezits or crackers. Then place M&Ms on them with different colors for different competitions. She explains how to use that same method to drill things. She tells Liz that is what Steve was copying her. Liz says Steve did that? Vanessa says that she didn’t explain it to Steve, he figured it out by looking. She tells Liz she is very fast... faster than Vanessa... then starts drilling her on votes. 11:27 PM BBT Liz tells Vanessa that she knows that they can’t ask questions about the times she wasn’t here. Vanessa says that means Liz has an advantage over Steve then, because he has to study all of it. She just has to study the ones she was here. Vanessa tells Liz that if Steve sees her doing it, she should tell Steve she couldn’t sleep so she decided to study, and she should not tell Steve that Vanessa told her how to do it. Liz says she would never tell him. 11:29 PM BBT Steve is out of the shower. Steve says he won’t keep it up but it was bizarre. Liz says she can’t believe he’s been showering in shorts for 90 days. Just as Steve leaves the WA, Steve says he got used to it “in prison” so he would have his system down and be comfortable with it. Liz says “wow” as she comes out of the WC and washes her hands. Liz goes to the KT to get the snack foods to use for studying and sets them up in the Cabana Room Lounge. Steve pokes his head into the room and she says “yes, I can’t sleep.” Steve says “oh, you’re doing things,” and leaves her to it. 11:36 PM BBT Steve is walking back and forth and goes into the storage room asking out loud “was Jeff ever a have-not?” Steve goes to the DR and the cameras turn briefly to Vanessa laying down in the darkened OBR with her arms behind her head. Her eyes are open. Cameras return to KT where Steve is looking in the fridge for milk. He goes back to the storage room. Liz is still studying in the CRL.

1:12 AM BBT The HGs discuss the competition as Vanessa is in the shower. Vanessa gets out and Steve goes into the WC. He starts laughing and Liz wonders what he is laughing about. BB asks Liz to put on her microphone and she goes to get it. Vanessa comes back to change in the WC as Steve gets into the shower. 1:17 AM BBT We return from Fish and Steve is still in the shower, wondering if he is bleeding. Liz and Vanessa both say no, it’s the red. Vanessa has a towel on her head and is putting moisturizer on her arms. She puts on her red hoodie. Vanessa is still talking about bruises and being wrecked. 1:20 AM BBT Vanessa highly recommends to Liz that she eat yogurt. She is worried about the risk of a yeast infection because of the intrusiveness of the rope and being in water for so long. Steve is still in the shower, Liz is drying her hair, Vanessa is grabbing her toothbrush. Steve gets out of the shower and Vanessa chuckles and tells him he still has pink on his face. 1:24 AM BBT Steve says he is going to pop into the DR after he puts on a warm hoodie. Vanessa has just gone to the KT. Liz is brushing her hair in the WA. 1:25 AM BBT Vanessa uses the hair dryer briefly and then puts on her beanie. She moisturizes her face while Liz brushes her teeth. Liz asks whether Vanessa wants to drink champagne. Vanessa calls Steve’s name to make sure he isn’t around, and then lowers her voice to speak to Liz saying “of course we have a deal but you have to give me your word that you will NOT tell Steve we have a deal.” Liz whispers her agreement, saying that she doesn’t have a deal with Steve. Vanessa asks twice if she has Liz’s word and Liz says yes both times. Steve comes into the WA and Vanessa changes her tone to complaining about being done. Steve leaves. 1:29 AM BBT Steve comes back to the WA and Vanessa talks about how her family will laugh at her doing that comp. Steve goes to the KT and calls to them to ask if they will look after the pizza while he is in DR. Vanessa says it’s cruel for them to ask them to do DR now. Liz says even lifting her arms to brush her hair hurts. Vanessa and Liz resume their whispered conversation. Vanessa reiterates that Steve cannot know they have a final 2 deal. She gives Liz her word that she will take Liz to final 2. Liz asks Vanessa if she has a deal with Steve and Vanessa says no but she may have to make a deal with him if he makes finals and Liz doesn’t. But no matter what she tells Steve, it’s not true. Vanessa promises that she will take Liz. That’s all she can offer Liz and that’s f’n fair. All she needs is for Liz to keep her mouth shut. Liz tells Vanessa that she has no intention of making a deal with Steve. She only has Vanessa. She’s not going to pretend with Steve. It’s just not happening. Vanessa says Steve knows and that’s why he was so depressed earlier. Liz is worried about tomorrow because Steve knows his stuff. Vanessa promises Liz it's more about the physical; it won’t be mental. She will just need to know the first 10 HOHs. They talk about their expectation for the comp. Vanessa says that she will do very well in jury statements. She tells Liz that doing the second comp is way better for Liz.

12:57 AM BBT Vanessa and Steve are standing in the WA area while Liz continues to shower. Steve offers to let Vanessa go next. We get Reels briefly and then Fish. When we come back, they are talking about the comp. Vanessa says that Steve impressed her. She underestimated him. Steve says this was the moment he was waiting for in BB. Vanessa is shivering. Steve goes to get his drink and walks back as Liz and Vanessa talk about needing the doctor and meds. We get Fish briefly and then Liz pulls the curtain across after moving to the cold side of the shower to put lotion on. Vanessa gets into the shower. Steve suggests making a frozen pizza and heads to the KT.
