11:31 PM BBT Becky asks Austin about a perfect circle around his knee. Austin says he likes the negative space. Liz says she likes negative space and everyone laughs. They talk about Austin’s tattoos. Austin says that they were going to fill in the circle, but he had an infection in a spot on his shin that took six months to heal and the plan changed. He had a reaction to pink ink. Liz says his tattoos are perfect and he shouldn’t get any more. No more. 11:33 PM BBT Julia asks Austin, since he has so many tattoos, does he prefer girls with or without tattoos. Austin says that he has enough tattoos for both of them and everyone likes his answer. Becky says that she likes the contrast between Liz without tattoos and Austin with so many. Austin says it’s about the person and not about the tattoos. He has no preference. 11:41 PM BBT The group by the HT are still talking about tattoos. James is out of the shower and brushing his teeth. 11:45 PM BBT James is back in the OBR putting clothes away. The HGs at the HT are talking about how people have different first impressions of Austin compared to how the HGs know him. Austin tells them that sometimes girls that go out with him get upset because he gets all the attention. They all stare at him. People ask him if he got a new tattoo even when he hasn’t gotten one because they just haven’t seen it before. Meg starts to tell a story about her ex and we get Fish. 11:49 PM BBT Vanessa is in her chair in a darkened HNR when Steve and James go in to find James’ visor. James tells Vanessa that he told Steve that he was going to declare war on the whole house. Steve says that he’s glad they could reach an agreement. James says “yes. There will be no pranks for 24 hours.” Steve doesn’t believe him. Meg is called to the DR. 11:52 PM BBT Meg is putting on make-up in the WA. James goes to use the WC and Meg complains that she needs it. They call each other annoying. James is looking for Q-tips as Meg washes her hands. James says “bye” and Meg says “see you never.” Meg heads to the DR, and James goes to the KT. 11:55 PM BBT Liz and Austin are cuddling on the Hammock. Austin mentions that they will have pictures tomorrow. Liz is going to write in her blog about potball and BB Chef and Julia being in the house, BB Comics, “us”, “me winning HOH”, shout out to her family. Austin suggests shouting out to Brenchel. Liz tells Austin that they are Liztin, and they don’t care about Brenchel. Austin asks why not? He says he tries to have Brenchel moments. Liz says they [Liztin] are by far the most powerful showmance. They talk about Amanda and McCrae and other showmances from prior seasons and how far each showmance went.

11:01 PM BBT Julia comes into the KT area with two bottles of wine and screaming. They commiserate with the Have-Nots...this is the worst week ever to be a Have-Not. First the cooking show and now they have alcohol. Liz thinks that BB wants them to play pot ball. 11:05 PM BBT Austin, James, Becky, Julia, Meg, Liz and Steve are in the KT. All but Steve are toasting. Julia is telling James he was a great team-mate and he did a great job. The group discusses the different dishes. Meg says it was sooo good, it was like “BB Restaurante”. 11:08 PM BBT The HGs in the KT decide to go out to the BY and head to the HT. Liz says they still think they should have won. Becky is talking about workout names. One name is Mr. Quadzilla. Johnny Mac is Mr. Abulous. They are the new beefcake. James says it was an honor to go up against the top chefs of the house and they really did like their dessert. They awwww and tell James he is such a cute kitty. Liz says they were obsessed with James and Julia’s entrée. They keep talking about the food they prepared. 11:14 PM BBT Becky says the most creativity goes to the Cordon Bleu. Meg protests saying that it’s a classic dish. It was a high-stake risk, but not an individual twist. 11:15 PM BBT Becky tells the others about her allergies and how they just started when she turned 23. Liz is wondering about her HOH Blog and when she will be called to DR. Becky tells her it’s really early and starts to tell her how it works, and we get Fish. 11:20 PM BBT All but Vanessa and John are at the HT. They are talking about how fun the evening was. John comes out as Meg is giving an animated re-enactment. Austin is called to the DR. 11:22 PM BBT Becky is talking about 3.21 Beer and that it can’t be sold in a franchise store. It has to be a mom and pop shop. She says it promotes small business. 11:24 PM BBT James is in the CBR grabbing some clothes, which he takes to the OBR. He sorts through some clothes, checking color combinations and then takes them to the WA where he prepares to take a shower. 11:29 PM BBT Julia, Steve, Liz, Meg, John, and Becky are still sitting around the HT talking about smoking weed. Liz shouts out to BB thanking them for alcohol three nights in a row and says “we are obsessed with you!” Austin returns from the DR.

6:00 PM BBT Austin is having a shower in the HOHR WA. Liz is snoozing and Julia is listening to music. Vanessa and James are in the KT talking about Becky and looking back at how things have happened. They talk about the mistakes that Audrey made....Audrey had Shelli on her side but she had to pick a fight with Clay, and that’s where it unravelled. Vanessa thinks that Jackie and Jason are the ones who went out in the classiest of ways. James thinks Shelli was pretty classy but Vanessa didn’t like that Shelli broke their deal not to use each others’ names in their campaigning. Vanessa was the bigger person and didn't retaliate. Also Shelli threw Austin under the bus and that wasn't cool. 6:08 PM BBT Vanessa and James talking in the KT. Vanessa feels that the competitions that she would be good at have already happened, and the upcoming competitions are not likely to be ones that she is good at, so her tools are limited and trust is what she really needs at this point in the game. 6:14 PM BBT All is quiet in the HOHR, with Liz sleeping and Julia listening to music. Outside in the BY, Meg is on the double lounger, and James and Austin are standing talking to her. James asks Austin what everyone is deciding for Thursday and Austin tells him “Becky.” Austin says Vanessa is feeling good, and he is planting the idea with Vanessa that the person who wins this HOH is in a very bad position because they won’t be able to compete in the HOH comp in the week when someone comes back in the house. Austin wants Vanessa to feel comfortable so she will throw the HOH competition. Meg says that Johnny Mac has told her that Vanessa has not approached him with a deal. If she does approach him, Johnny Mac will take the deal, but won’t follow through with it. 6:22 PM BBT John joins Meg and Austin and James in the BY. They talk about the pot ball game the previous night. 6:16 PM BBT Austin repeats to Meg and James what Vanessa has been saying about Julia needing to get HOH. Austin tells James and Meg that Vanessa sees Meg as a question mark. Austin tells them that she wants to offer Johnny Mac her vote in exchange for not putting her up or backdooring her next week, but she won’t offer Johnny safety for the following week. James asks Austin who is the ideal person to win HOH next week. Austin says he is not ideal because Vanessa will go ape-sh*t on him, but he tells James and Meg that he will do it anyway. 6:19 PM BBT Austin, Meg and James are talking about whether Steve has a closer relationship to Vanessa than they think. Austin thinks Steve has been playing up that he was manipulated in his DE HOH. They talk about Johnny Mac and that he wants Vanessa out badly. Meg says that Johnny didn’t mention that to her this morning. Julia comes out to consult with her team-mate James about the cooking show. 6:35 PM BBT Austin, James, and Meg talk about Steve and what it would be like for him if Jackie comes back into the house. James suggests that Jackie might appreciate the vacation and the chance to bond with Shelli. They talk about if Shelli comes back. James says that he will win HOH if she comes back and send her right back out. Austin comments that Shelli was very half-hearted in her campaigning, kinda like Becky. 6:45 PM BBT James is telling Meg and Austin what Steve says about how people win America’s Favorite player....that it’s based on the DR sessions, how you do in competitions, and that hanging around outside doesn’t affect it. Austin thinks underdogs who come from behind tend to win it. James says then Meg will win it. Meg says no, because she hasn’t won anything. Meg thinks Steve will win it. James is frustrated and addresses the camera saying “America. Do NOT give Steve $25,000. Do NOT do it!” 6:50 PM BBT Vanessa comes out to the BY and joins Meg on the double lounger. Meg tells Vanessa she smells good. They talk about having to pack and still having the stuff they need in the house. Vanessa shouts out to Mel to bring her an extra suitcase 6:52 PM BBT Vanessa tells Meg that she guarantees that Meg will make final 4. They make a bet. Vanessa warns Meg that she used to be a professional gambler. Loser has to buy show tickets plus 1 for a show in Vegas. Deal. 6:55 PM BBT Vanessa and Meg chit chat on the BY double lounger. Vanessa is thinking about what show she wants to see in Vegas when she collects on their bet. John is in the KT making something to eat.

4:00 PM BBT Julia is in the KT saying the sink is foul as she tries to unclog the drain. Austin and Steve are in the BY near the HT talking about Vanessa. Austin tells Steve that Vanessa has suggested throwing the HOH to Julia because Julia has no deals with anyone else and others think Liz speaks for her. Steve says that Julia should win HOH for Julia’s sake. Austin agrees that Julia needs to stand on her own and let people know she is a serious player. She hasn’t won anything and anything she has played in, she played in them as Liz. 4:05 PM BBT Austin tells Steve that he trusts him. They discuss working with Johnny. Steve suggests another five person alliance, minus Vanessa, plus Johnny [and Austwins]. Steve says they should wait until after Becky leaves because John talks to Becky. Steve says he doesn’t want to do much until they know who is coming back into the game. 4:07 PM BBT Austin tells Steve that he found John trustworthy because in the past when Austin confided in John, John kept the information to himself. Austin tells Steve that John offered to throw the PoV competition...that’s how much John trusts him. 4:09 PM BBT Austin and Steve hope that if Johnny wins HOH next week, he will put up the gremlins with Vanessa as a backdoor target. Austin says he can’t come between sisters. His conversation with Jason was meant to paint himself as someone who is caught between two twins, rather than being seen as a three-headed monster. He never meant for it to seem like he was attacking Julia. Austin says he cares so much for Liz that he would okay with Liz and Julia being final 2. He would not necessarily take them over Steve. The twins will take each other, but not take Austin. Steve says that is where Johnny Mac comes in. Austin says that’s right. They talk about how each group of three can protect the other. They discuss Vanessa throwing the HOH comp. Austin says he would rather she throw it so that she is a shield for them. Austin is worried Vanessa would get sketched out and do something irrational. Steve doesn’t think Vanessa would do anything irrational. In any case, none of them should throw HOH this week. Steve is happy to see Austin and the twins bonding with Johnny. 4:21 PM BBT All four feeds are on Vanessa sunning on the round lounger in the BY. 4:28 PM BBT Liz, Julia, James, and Austin are in the KT area preparing food and talking about “BB Chefs” airing later. 4:32 PM BBT Liz and Austin are planning their menu for the BB Chefs. Liz loves Austin’s menu ideas. They spot Julia trying to eavesdrop and call her out. They move into the HOHR WA and continue planning what they will make on “BB Chefs.” 4:35 PM BBT Liz and Austin are still in the HOHR WA talking about food. James is doing dishes and Meg is at the refrigerator. Vanessa comes in from the BY. Julia is sitting at the glass counter eating a sandwich, and she asks Vanessa for suggestions on what to make. 4:40 PM BBT Most everyone is in the KT talking about the coming competition. Austin and Liz go to the Storage Room to check out ingredients that they want to use, but they are leaving the ingredients there because they don’t want to tip anyone off about what they are making. Liz says it’s “game over” and the other team should just forfeit right now. 4:47 PM BBT Julia and James are in the CRL planning their menu. Austin and Liz are sitting close together on the BY couches and Austin is bringing Liz up to date on his conversation with Steve. Liz thinks John is confident he has chosen the right side because they keep winning. Austin says that if one of them (Austwins) are up against Vanessa, Steve has said he will pick them over Vanessa. Liz goes inside and Austin stays in the BY to work out. 4:56 PM BBT Julia and James are now in the Storage Room planning their menu. Julie is trying to think outside the box, but James doesn’t like her idea. They keep trying different ideas and are getting frustrated. Austin is still working out in the BY.

12:03 AM BBT James is finishing off the roll of plastic wrap. When the plastic wrap is gone, James says his work here is done. Vanessa asks what they could do to add to it, and James said there wouldn’t be much because there are limited supplies. Vanessa asks about piling his clothes on top. James says he put a lot of Steve’s clothes inside and his shoes as well. Talking about taking it farther, James decides to put blankets and pillows and a towel on top so that Steve won’t even realize it right away. Vanessa warns James that she is going to let Steve know it was James because she doesn’t want to get the blame. She loves it though. 12:08 AM BBT Becky comes into HNR, and they hear Steve in the OBR. Vanessa is telling Becky about the prank and James goes into the OBR to talk to Steve, Meg, and John. Julia comes in looking for Miss Voodoo and she finds a chocolate. Becky leaves the HNR and passes through the OBR on her way out. 12:17AM BBT John, Becky, James, and Meg in the OBR talking about medications and cold sores and infections from dental work. Austin and Steve are playing pool while Julia watches and coaches. 12:20 AM BBT James says that if you have kids and they have chicken pox, don’t let them scratch too much because they will get scars. Becky tells the group in the OBR that she is allergic to chiggers and has scars from scratching bites. We gets Fish and when we come back, they say “that was fast” and they speculate whether what James just said got “fish-tanked” They talk about whether or not they are on live feeds right now. 12:23 AM BBT James is surprised that BB didn’t stop him from wrapping up Steve’s chair because it used up a lot of plastic wrap. Becky points out that it’s a pretty inexpensive form of entertainment. Meg says she wants to stay up to see Steve’s reaction and then just wants to go to sleep. James says that Steve is going to have a very rough time getting all the plastic off. 12:25 AM BBT In the OBR, they think that Steve is coming in, but he doesn’t so they ask him for something from his basket. He goes into the HNR and says “where is his basket??” He thinks they are pranking him by hiding his basket. He doesn’t see that his chair is wrapped in plastic because James has covered it with blankets. He finally realizes what is going on and there is lots of laughter. James looks pretty happy. Steve starts to pull the plastic off while Julia counts to see how long it takes him. Steve throws his hat off and then his shirt and then goes after plastic wrap. Julia has counted to 80 already. 12:30 AM BBT Julia stops counting as Steve heads to the kitchen for a butter knife. He comes back with the knife and finally frees his basket and his shoes and gets the last of the plastic off.

11:32 PM BBT Becky is missing Jason and notes that they don’t really use the BY couches anymore, and that’s where Jason always hung out. Steve notes that Becky has been going to sleep early. Becky says it’s harder to be HOH than it is to be on the block. Steve agrees with that. Becky says she didn’t sleep at all during her HOH. She makes a joke: Accountants sleep like babies during tax season—they wake up crying every hour. 11:36 PM BBT Becky goes inside and Steve goes over to the Hammock where John is reclining. John tells Steve he is very drunk, but Steve doesn’t think he is acting too drunk. John asks how life is in the world of Steve right now. Steve says he is doing okay. He’s keeping Vanessa happy, which is important because people who don’t make her happy tend to go home. Steve asks how John is doing, and John says he is dealing with it. He just hopes that nothing flips this week. Steve reassures him that he doesn’t see anything flipping. Steve tells John that he talked to Austwins and they were very happy with the conversation they had with John. John says “very good.” John thinks that going forward, if he stays it means Becky is gone and Meg and James will no longer be a target. John thinks that Vanessa has lost all of her power and that’s why she is so upset. 11:38 PM BBT John and Steve talk about Vanessa and the need to keep reassuring her and being her best friends to keep her calm. Steve asks John about his conversation with the twins, and wants to know about that. John tells him that Austwins know that he isn’t coming after them...he is going after Vanessa and they like that because John is not targeting them. Steve asks if John revealed his target, and John says yes. Steve suggests that Austin won’t want to be in the final three with the twins. Steve confirms that Austin was glad to hear that John was going after Vanessa, and John says yes, and that made John realize there is no final two between Vanessa and Austin. 11:42 PM BBT Julia comes out to ask Steve to play pool. James picks up a cue but Steve insists that Steve and Julia are playing and James can’t play. James puts down the cue, picks up two balls from the pool table and goes inside. Steve goes inside to get them from James and Julia practices shooting in the BY. 11:49 PM BBT In the BY, Steve and Julia are playing pool while Austin looks on. In the KT, James asks Vanessa about which chair Steve sleeps in. Vanessa says it’s the one with the tin foil. She put the tin foil there because she was trying to prank Steve, but he came in while she was doing it so she abandoned ship. James goes to the HNR and begins piling stuff on top of the tin foil on Steve’s Have-Not chair. 11:53 PM BBT In the HNR, James has piled everything he could find onto Steve’s Have-Not chair, and is now wrapping it in plastic wrap. Meg comes in and is laughing like crazy and saying OMG over and over. James says that Steve should not mess with him. Steve really pushed James’ buttons. James didn’t want to have to do this. Meg leaves to go get Vanessa. Meg says she almost just peed her pants and this is the best prank of all time in the house. Vanessa comes in and joins in the laughter. Vanessa says she loves it. James, still wrapping the chair in plastic wrap, says that Steve made him do it. Vanessa is worried that Steve will think she did it and it will start a war between Steve and Vanessa. 11:57 PM BBT Meg goes and gets a nametag with Steve’s name on it so that Steve knows that the chair is his. James has put Steve’s shoes inside the plastic wrap, and a lot of Steve’s stuff. James says it’s going to take Steve a long time to unwrap it.

11:12 PM BBT Liz is upset that Meg and Austin have won every game. She tells Austin he can’t win everything. Austin points out that she won Veto and HOH. They all go out to the BY. James and Meg come back in and look at all the mess on the floor but don’t clean it up. Meg says that she likes it. It’s like a college house. Julia comes in and starts sweeping up. Becky comes in and helps. Becky notes that James does most of the chocolate throwing and he is always missing during the cleanup. 11:16 PM BBT Steve is helping Becky and Julia to pick up chocolates. James and Meg are on the round lounger in the BY. Austin is pacing in the BY talking to Meg and James about the game. John is sitting by the HT. John asks Meg whether it hurts more to be hit by chocolate or smashing your face into the earth? Meg says smashing her face into the wall. 11:21 PM BBT Julia is putting the choclates into a bowl and Vanessa says they should throw them out. Julia says they are just what they fight with. They’re not edible. Vanessa is cornering Steve in the HNR. Steve has planted some chocolates in her HN chair. Vanessa finds the chocolates and throws them at Steve. 11:23 PM BBT Liz, Austin, Becky, and Vanessa are in the KT. Liz is still giving Austin a hard time about winning the game in the bonus round and taking the win from Liz who was on the winning team before the bonus round. Meg comes into the KT to help with clean-up. 11:26 PM BBT James, Steve and John are all congregated on the round lounger in the BY. Steve says that he has no idea what he is going to do when he gets home. John tells him he can get a job. Steve says he doesn’t want a minimum wage job. John says he has to get something on his resume. Steve tells John about a prep course that he taught in his freshman year. Steve says that he freelances at school a lot for recordings for students who have auditions. 11:29 PM BBT Becky has joined the group in the BY and she is standing in the HT and holding the inflatable shark. She notes that she had been screaming on the live show about wanting an inflatable shark and when she won HOH it showed up.

12:21 AM BBT John goes into the Have-Not room and finds Vanessa reading her letter in the dark. Vanessa tells John she got nostalgic. John says “aww” and tells her she is going to be out of there and be able to make out with her soon enough. Vanessa laughs and says “five and a half weeks.” John leaves the HNR and heads to the KT. 12:23 AM BBT Vanessa is settling in to sleep in the HNR. In the KT, Becky is telling James, Steve, and Meg that some of her friends are getting botox injections already. Becky says that people always guess her age. 12:28 AM BBT Becky says that her sister dates Asian guys a lot. She would love it if James was her brother-in-law. Becky talks about other “plans” ...Shelli and Clay would get married, and Becky would marry Shelli’s twin brother, so then they would all be related. 12:29 AM BBT Meg is in the HOHR telling Austin, Julia and Liz [in HOHR WA] that Becky has accepted what is. She’s calm and cool and saying that at least she still has a chance to get back in the game. 12:31 AM BBT Austin tells Meg that John was willing to throw the PoV competition to Austin, and asks Meg if she thinks John actually threw it. Meg is shocked: “He SAID that?” Meg tells Austin that Becky told her that both John and Becky have said they will not campaign against each other. Meg says that if John was willing to throw it, he must be feeling pretty safe. Austin wonders what Becky might know about John that they don’t know. Meg thinks that people think they are closer than they are. 12:33 AM BBT Austin tells Meg that Vanessa spent an hour and a half with Johnny Mac probably trying to make a deal with him in exchange for her vote. Meg is expecting Vanessa to cut a deal with James for both Meg and James votes. Meg is insulted that Vanessa doesn’t talk game to Meg. She goes to James instead. Meg feels like Vanessa just pats her head. 12:35 AM BBT Austin tells Meg that Steve is on board to get rid of Vanessa. They talk about the ways they think Vanessa has used Steve. Meg is mystified why Vanessa is targeting Meg, James, and Jackie when they were the ones who were voting to keep her. 12:38 AM BBT Steve and James are playing chess. Austin, Meg and Julia are still in the HOHR talking about Vanessa and who is targeting her. Austin is telling Meg that he really likes hanging out with Johnny Mac. Meg feels that Vanessa is less dangerous because so many people are on to her now...Vanessa has lost her power to manipulate. Meg warns not to keep Vanessa around too long because if she wins the power she would put Austin and James up so that both sides would start freaking out. 12:45 AM BBT The HOH group are talking about winning competitions. Austin says that if you need to win a competition at this stage of the game you haven’t played right. They discuss how the game changes as the numbers dwindle. Lights are out in the HNR, but John and Vanessa are talking about missing home. John says he always thought he would do alright if he was ever in prison, but this has made him realize how hard it is. In the BB House they can at least move from room to room. Vanessa says in prison you can have phone calls and there’s TV. Vanessa compares the BB experience to solitary confinement, but with the whole group. They talk about counting down the next five and a half weeks, and they look forward to seeing family again. 12:49 AM BBT Austin tells Meg that they are feeling pretty relieved and hopeful that next week will be straightforward as well. Meg asks if Vanessa is pushing them to put someone else up, and Austin says no. Vanessa wants Becky out. They are trying to make sure Vanessa feels safe so that she will be inclined to throw the HOH comp next week. Austin, Meg and Julia agree that next week is the week for Vanessa to go. 12:51 AM BBT All is quiet in the HNR. In the HOHR, Austin, Meg, and Julia talk about the coolest players in prior seasons and how they keep their hands out of things earlier on and then manipulate more subtly and later in the game. Much of the conversation is about Derrick. Derrick never freaked out about anything. Austin says this is the first time he has felt good at all. 12:54 AM BBT Steve and James come into the HOHR. Steve says that he decimated James in their chess game. James puts something on the table. Austin asks if the BY is open. James says no. Steve says he will go check and he leaves. James stays and gets the updates from Austin. Meg tells Austin that they can’t tell James anything more about Vanessa or James will explode soon. 12:57 AM BBT In the darkened HNR, Vanessa tells John about software she uses for audio editing and tagging sounds. Steve comes into HNR. Vanessa and John say “Hi Steve” and he says “it’s not Steve”...Steve grabs a blanket and says “it’s Audrey.”

12:00 AM BBT In the HOHR, Steve brings up the definition of what it means for a HG to be backdoored. He says that the technical definition is a replacement nom who never got to play for Veto. So any HG who plays for, but doesn’t win, Veto and then gets nominated and evicted has not actually been backdoored. Steve asks Austwins what he can do for them this week, and they tell him to just monitor the Vanessa situation. There’s a reason he’s a Have-Not. They want to make sure Vanessa doesn’t suspect that they want Johnny Mac to take her out next week because she knows all their secrets and will blow up their game. 12:06 AM BBT Vanessa comes into the CBR where Becky, John and James are talking about the Veto competition. She wonders where everyone is and then realizes that the house just feels empty because they are down to nine people. 12:09 AM BBT Julia is having a shower in the HOHR WA. Steve says goodnight and leaves the HOHR. Liz and Austin cuddle in and kiss. Liz says “we are so good. I am so happy....everyone that’s evicted right now is dying at how much we’re killing it. We’ve positioned ourselves perfectly.” Austin says we just have to keep it going and relax the rest of the week and have fun. 12:11 AM BBT Liz is glad Becky didn’t come talk to her because she doesn’t want to talk to Becky. 12:12 AM BBT In the CBR, Steve reveals to John and James that he put chocolates under the fitted sheet of one of the beds. James asks if they can have a few days or weeks of pranking each other. John says he’s down. Steve says that no one has pranked John yet. John says he’s felt left out. John and Steve talk about dentist chairs and that they can turn. John was surprised. James leaves and Steve whispers to John that he was upstairs and that Steve, John, Austin, Liz and Julia are guaranteed. Vanessa can’t do shi*t. Steve thanks John for going outside and having fun and encourages him to keep doing that. Steve asks what John into a funk. John says it was just knowing that the big move [getting Vanessa out] was happening and that it could go very wrong, which it did. Everything was going downhill from there. 12:16 AM BBT Steve suggests to John that he build a bridge with Vanessa. Steve says they can maintain a good relationship until it’s time to get her out. They talk about winning the next HOH. John thinks they should save it til the next week when they have someone back in the game. He thinks Vanessa will throw the next HOH comp as well. Steve tells John that he has the votes. John says he doesn’t want to have to campaign against Becky anyway. John doesn’t think Becky will campaign either. Steve asks John if there is anything he can do for Becky on a personal level as a human being. John says just to keep doing what he has been doing. Also, Becky doesn’t understand about Jackie, so John suggests that Steve talk to her about in a few days.

11:34 PM BBT Becky and John continue to go over how things happened in the past few weeks and they are tracing Vanessa’s influence on others. Becky says that Vanessa pretends to people that she is their only friend in the house...they are both independent and should work together. Becky says the people that Vanessa is close to are the people that she burns the hardest because those are the people who feel safe enough to talk about their game with Vanessa. Becky says she tried warning everyone, but Vanessa might win it because she’s so good at convincing people to trust her. Becky says that Shelli and Clay went home because Vanessa sold them out. Clelli took the blame for Jason going home even though Vanessa was the one in power. 11:37 PM BBT John tries to suggests that if Vanessa keeps playing like this, she might be a good one to take to the end because she is pi**sing everyone off, but Becky interrupts him and says “no! I’ve been telling people about this and no one will see it” because Vanessa morphs to people who are down in their game. She grabs their hand and shows them safety, so whoever is down in their game won’t vote her out. Becky goes on to give examples. John thinks Vanessa could end up in the final two because no one likes her. Becky doesn’t agree...she thinks Vanessa is good at what she does. 11:39 PM BBT Becky thinks Austin and the twins are more of a threat than anyone thought. Becky thinks Austin can play but he chooses not to win. 11:44 PM BBT Steve, Liz and Austin are talking in the HOHR. Steve and Liz hug three times. Austin and Liz ask Steve if he thinks Johnny Mac threw it [the PoV comp]. Austin says if it wasn’t for that, Austin would have been out. Steve says “You beat Becky. That’s all that matters.” Liz tells Steve to let Johnny know that the noms are going to stay the same. Austin tells Steve that Vanessa is trying to talk to Johnny for the past two hours. They discuss the votes. Steve thinks James and Meg will vote to keep Becky but Austin and Liz say they probably won’t. Julia comes into the room. 11:48 PM BBT In the CBR, Becky tells John that she is sick of thinking in circles, and she is in acceptance mode. John totally identifies with thinking and circles and it drives him crazy. Becky feels she cleaned up James’ dirty work and then they left her out to dry. In the HOHR, Austin and the twins are talking to Steve about Vanessa and telling him that they can’t be the ones to take her out. Steve tells them that Vanessa is the one who told him to backdoor Jackie. They tell Steve that they know and that’s the reason that James and Meg are targeting Vanessa and not Steve. 11:54 PM BBT In the CBR, Becky is putting things in perspective by looking at what she has accomplished so far. She didn’t go home the first week, and she’s won HOH and competed in OTEV, and she’s won $10,000. Rather than think about coulda/woulda/shouldas, she can think about what she’s done and experienced.

11:18 PM BBT Steve takes the bowl of candies into the CBR and empties the bowl into one of the beds, then hides the bowl under another bed. James bursts into the room, taking cover from others pelting him. There is a lot of screaming going on as candies are pelted back and forth. 11:25 PM BBT Feeds go to Fish for a few minutes, and when we come back, John and Becky are talking in the CBR. Becky is saying that she was just trying to control her controllables. She did everything she could to try to keep Shelli and send home Vanessa. She fought so hard and held every conversation she could and couldn’t do anything and that made her panic and she got paranoid. She was sad and mad. She wonders if she should have taken Shelli off the block and put up John so that people would vote Vanessa out. 11:26 Becky asks John how he is, and he says the past two weeks have been tough. Becky: Horrible. John says that people don’t know why he is so mopey, but it’s because he knows things they don’t. Becky says it sucks that the twins and Austin can play summer camp for so long and then run the house. That kills her more than anything. Becky tells John that the twins never once hit her block. Becky says she protected them and that at the end of the day Vanessa and Steve will campaign for John. Steve comes into the room to check on Becky. Becky says that she made a bad game move in her HOH and she’s paying the price, so it’s hard to play games. She says she just needs to be mopey Becky for 24 hours and let the realization of not winning the veto sink in. 11:29 PM BBT Steve leaves the CBR and Becky tells John that Jackie would never have gone after Steve. The twins and Austin bully Steve and they want him up. Steve is disposable to them. Becky says Vanessa hated Jackie and told Steve to go after her. John says Vanessa destroyed them in one week. They didn’t see the big picture. It seemed like a good plan to John. Becky’s choice in HOH was based on James saying he was more scared of Vanessa than Shelli. They were all on board until Vanessa started talking and it all changed.

11:01 PM BBT Becky has gone to bed in the CBR. The other HGs are in the KT/DT either playing pot ball or watching the game. Meg says that Vanessa has done very well in the game. 11:06 PM BBT The HGs agree to have one more round of pot ball and then finish with the bonus round. 11:10 PM BBT The bonus round is everyone taking 3 shots to get one in “the glory hole” which is a beverage glass that is nearly impossible to drop a ball into. If someone gets it, it’s an absolute win. Otherwise the team with the highest score still wins...that’s Austin and Meg. 11:15 PM BBT John takes a shot and it hits the cup and knocks it off. They debate whether it went in and jumped back out. John says this is like a carnival game that you can’t win. On his second try, he knocks it off again. James fixes it so that it doesn’t fall over, and John tries again. No luck. James keeps holding it in place while Vanessa takes her three shots. No luck....Meg and Austin are the winners!! James is throwing things at the twins and Meg, and they are throwing them back.

9:00 PM BBT Steve and Vanessa are in the HNR. Vanessa asks Steve if he has talked to Johnny at all about Vanessa. Steve says that Johnny was frustrated yesterday. Vanessa asks what Steve says when John tells him he is frustrated. Steve says he sympathizes with him. Vanessa complains that John is hanging on to something that is old. Vanessa says that the only person she told about the 8-person alliance was Steve. Steve thinks it is just a mis-communication. Vanessa says that John shouldn’t have argued with her over it because it just pi**ed her off. Steve tells her he understands how she feels. Vanessa asks him if their final 2 is still good, and Steve says yes. She asks again. If it comes down to Vanessa or John, Steve will pick Vanessa? 100%? On your ___ everything? Steve says yes each time she asks. Vanessa says that Steve is her only final 2. 9:02 PM BBT Steve tells Vanessa that people are telling him that Vanessa made the 8-person alliance. Vanessa starts to get upset and say that it was James’ HOH, and Steve tells her over and over that he knows she didn’t do it, and he is just letting her know. Vanessa says that first of all there was no alliance. Vanessa said that she was the last one approached and was even surprised she was included in it. If she had done it, she would have done it differently. [which is it? It didn’t exist or someone else did it?] 9:04 PM BBT Vanessa asks Steve if it gets down to “Scamper Squad” how do they get to the finals. Steve says it’s a great question, but he doesn’t have an answer. Steve stands up because he thinks it looks more suspicious if they sit on the floor. They talk some more about it and realize that neither of them have a strategy. Steve wants to build a bridge between John and Vanessa because he thinks that it will benefit all of them. Vanessa says she is on board but she has never had a harder time building a bridge in her life. They talk about how they really like Becky on a personal level but they can’t talk game with her. Steve says that Becky will be going this week. 9:07 PM BBT Vanessa asks Steve who they should target next week. Vanessa has an opinion but Steve doesn’t it. She tells Steve to think about it and they will talk later because she doesn’t want to influence him. He tries to guess but is wrong, and it drives him crazy that she won’t tell him. 9:14 PM BBT Liz is still in the KT. Becky is sitting at the glass counter. Meg and John are sitting at the DT. James is playing pot ball by himself. Vanessa and Steve are still talking in the HNR. Steve is laying on the floor. They are talking about the PoV competition and saying that a lot of it came down to luck. 9:22 PM BBT All of the HGs are in the KT together and are talking about playing pot ball again. Austin says they are going to get bored and the others disagree. Austin teases Steve that he doesn’t like to be called “Oscar”...he just wants to be called “boy”. 9:24 PM BBT All the HGs are gathered around the glass counter in the KT. Austin gets reprimanded by BB for talking about his DR session. Meg says that BB is obsessed with James torturing her. Meg is animatedly telling everyone about James piling blankets on top of her when she was sleeping, and then James got rewarded with the song that he requested during the wake-up call. Meg had been requesting a song for days and days.

8:40 PM BBT Becky, Meg, Steve, John, and James are sitting at the Dining Table while Liz and Julia cook in the KT area. Meg is talking about chewing the ice in her drinks and John says that is bad for your teeth and you shouldn’t do that. Becky asks whether chewing on straws is bad, and John says that is probably fine. They talk about whether it counts as winning HOH if you are later dethroned. Steve says it’s debatable. John asks if they were still doing BotB this time last year, and Steve says yes. They speculate why they stopped BotB. Becky thinks it was in response to fans. 8:50 PM BBT Julia and Vanessa are in the WA. Julia blow-drying her hair and Vanessa putting something on her face. John, James, Meg, and Becky still at the DT chatting while Liz cooks. Meg is trying to think of a name. 8:57 PM BBT The group at the DT talking about southern accents. Becky tells them about a British friend who loved Duck Dynasty and how hilarious it was to hear a bunch of British guys try to do a southern accent. Meg says that she doesn’t notice James’ accent any more. John says that maybe James is losing it. Becky says that she noticed Jason’s accent more than James. James starts talking in an exaggerated southern accent.

8:08 PM BBT Vanessa, Steve, James and Julia are in the KT talking about how fast Liz was in the PoV competition. Julia says she called it. She said Liz was going to win and she won. Steve said he was so nervous about OTEV. Julia says that at least Steve was not out in the first round. 8:15 PM BBT Vanessa is in the HOHR talking to Liz about Becky trying to play all sides of the house, then tells Liz not to repeat what she is saying. Vanessa asks Liz if Johnny Mac told her who his target is, and Liz says no. Vanessa says, you didn’t make a deal? He’s just being nicer? Liz acknowledges that Johnny Mac is being nicer. Vanessa is pitching Becky as a target in case Jackie comes back into the house. Austin pops his head in from the HOHR WA and tells Vanessa that Becky tried to knock him over. 8:18 PM BBT Vanessa remembers something else about Becky. When James was HOH, Becky was running to Shelli and Clay with information. Shelli told Vanessa that Becky had told Shelli and Clay that James was targeting them, but not to worry because Becky was trying to redirect him to the twins. 8:22 PM BBT Austin tells Vanessa that John has been really nice to Austin and that he’s looking for a team and wants to work with them. Vanessa asks Austin if John has told them his targets and Austin tells her no...that John is playing a defensive game. Austin says that John will be lonely without Becky, so it will be good to work with him. Vanessa says they are really well set up with two duos they can pit against each other. 8:26 PM BBT Liz and Austin say they will be down to eat and Vanessa leaves. When Austin and Liz are alone together, Austin said it was a good conversation because Vanessa is feeling comfortable. Liz complains that Vanessa asked Liz about whether Johnny Mac told them his target and then she asked Austin the same question right after. Austin says it’s good that we both gave the same answer and protected Johnny Mac. Liz points out that Vanessa did that because she has a feeling. Austin says that everything is good because they have Steve and Johnny Mac, and they have Meg and James, and they are both working with them and gunning for Vanessa, and they will put each other up if they win HOH. They’re set. Liz says they are so good it’s not even funny. 8:29 PM BBT Liz is fixing Austin’s braids and tells Austin about something Vanessa brought up about Becky. Austin says “yeah, we know you need to bury Becky so you don’t get backdoored.” Liz is offended that Vanessa thinks she will be backdoored and Austin says that Vanessa probably thinks that Austin is influencing Liz. Liz and Austin hug and you can hear a heartbeat in the microphone. They head downstairs.

5:02 PM BBT Steve, Becky, Meg and James in the OBR. Meg and Becky talking about dating and being able to date without feeling like it has to lead to marriage. 5:09 PM BBT All feeds on Liz and Austin sleeping in the HOHR. 5:14 PM BBT Steve, James, Meg, and Becky in the KT. Not much conversation as they mill about. Steve is making “slop chops” 5:15 PM BBT John joins the group in the KT. Steve comments that he has an HOH basket but that he can’t touch any of the food in it because he’s a Have-Not. 5:17 PM BBT Steve is called to the DR. Steve says “again?” Steve starts to go, but then James is called to the DR. We get Jeff’s Reels. It’s time for the Power of Veto competition!!!

11:14 PM BBT There is a lot of shouting and laughter and spontaneous commercial-break-style shout-outs. Austin says “this is breaking down, and James agrees it’s getting crazy. 11:18 PM BBT There is general hilarity. James lines up to throw and they comment on his form. Steve is up. James does a commercial for something other than Irish Spring and both Austin and Liz chase him off. They are counting up scores and John is taking his turn. Meg is up...they call her Mrs. Garfunkel. Meg shouts to James who has moved to the scoreboard, “no cheating!” They cheer Meg, and it’s Julia’s turn. 11:22 PM BBT James throws something at the twins and they start throwing candies back and forth. James grabs the bowl and spills it all over the floor. Austin says that this game broke down quickly. Julia grabs a broom and starts clearing up the candy. Everyone pitches in. Meg is laughing and saying “that’s so funny!” 11:26 PM They re-group and John takes his turn. Austin is up. Meg says this is the last round and there is protest. Steve keeps dissing Irish Spring in order to provoke Austin into his “father” role. They joke back and forth and Austin says “son, are we making up?” and Steve runs over to him yelling “Daddy!” and jumps up in a hug. 11:34 PM BBT The HGs are still playing their new game in the KT. James suggests that they should play the game until someone makes the shot. They can’t go to bed until someone makes it. 11:39 PM BBT Vanessa joins the group playing “pot ball” and asks what the game is about. Meg explains it and Vanessa tries it out. 11:40 PM BBT Vanessa likes the game. Meg is getting credit for creating a fun new game. 11:43 PM BBT The game breaks up and the HGs disperse. Austin and Liz are talking to Meg in the HOHR. John and Steve are in the KT. 11:44 PM BBT Austin tells Meg what John told them earlier about catching Vanessa in a lie. Julia comes in from the HOHR WA and joins the discussion. Meg tells Austin/Julia/Liz that they just put pieces together today. They think that Vanessa was the one who told Steve that Jackie and James were targeting Steve. 11:47 PM BBT John, James, Vanessa and Steve are in the KT. Steve is juggling two oranges. Vanessa teaches James the basics of juggling. James says he’ll have to practise and Vanessa tells him that he’ll be doing great very soon because he has great hand/eye coordination. 11:49 PM BBT Meg tells Julia, Liz and Austin that John was really worried about Austin’s connection to Vanessa and whether Austin and Vanessa had a final two deal. Meg tells them that she encouraged him to come up and talk to Liz and Austin. Austin says that John was really relieved to know that Austin and Liz are doubting Vanessa too. They talk about some of the questions that Vanessa has asked about who they trust and then realize that Vanessa may be asking in order to target the people they trust. They agree that they have to keep everything quiet so that Vanessa doesn’t “go rogue” 11:51 PM BBT The HOHR group is talking about whether Vanessa will throw HOH. She has so many deals, if she won HOH, what would she do? Meg says that James is terrified of Vanessa. Austin complains about Vanessa’s conspiracy theories and refers back to her suggestion that he was being fed the wrong answers by the other group when they were Jedi training for the HOH comp. 11:54 PM BBT The HOHR group talk about Becky’s strategy of laying low. Austin tells Liz that he thinks she got off okay because neither Becky nor John is upset with Liz for nominating them.

5:34 PM BBT John continues telling Liz and Austin the discrepancies that he has been keeping to himself. Clay and Shelli told John about the eight-person alliance because they thought he was part of the group. He tells them about what happened with Clay on eviction day, and that John was the one who originally expressed concern about Shelli and Vanessa being too close, and then Clay put two and two together and got six and assumed that James is the one that told Johnny Mac that Johnny Mac couldn’t trust Vanessa. 5:37 PM BBT Steve is talking to James and Meg who are laying down in the OBR. Meg thanks Steve for sharing stuff from his basket. James corrects Meg on how to pronounce James’ last name. Meg and James try to guess Steve’s middle name. They keep throwing out suggestions that make Steve laugh. Steve feels like it’s really weird that the three of them in the room are one-third of the house. A few weeks ago, having three people in the room would be considered “scampering” but now it just means there are only nine people in the house. 5:46 PM BBT Austin is sympathetic to John and how he has been out of sorts. John says it’s been hard losing the people he was close to, first Clay and then Shelli after the house flipped. Liz tells John that she hopes he wins the veto because they don’t want to be the ones to take Vanessa out, even though she’s a threat to them too. John tells them that Vanessa is his target and he would be okay with putting up the Goblins as pawns. Austin tells him that would be a great deal that would keep Johnny in there for sure. They only need three votes this week. They tell John that Becky refers to the Goblins as her team and she never mentions John. John says that she thinks that Becky was more friends with Jackie so he doesn’t think her loyalty is with Meg and James so much. 5:50 PM BBT In the HOHR, Liz tells John that Becky doing what she did with her HOH was a blessing in disguise because it made them aware of Vanessa’s game.

5:00 PM BBT Austin tells the twins that if he was HOH this week, he might backdoor Vanessa. He’s that pi**ed with her. Liz says she wants Becky out and Austin questions how that changed because he thought they all wanted Johnny Mac out. He asks her if Vanessa got in her ear, and she says no, but when she tells him the info that influenced her, he disputes it and says “that was Vanessa lying” Liz looks sheepish and says yes. They make plans to stay secure with both of them until they know who wins veto. Liz tells them Meg told her that John completely believed Liz’s speech about putting Becky and John up because they are good competitors, and that it’s not person. Austin points out that John should have been telling them that, not Meg. 5:04 PM BBT In the HOHR, Austin tells the twins that these nominations are about seeing how people react. They are watching Johnny Mac, Becky and Vanessa. So far, Vanessa has already gone half-cocked on them for no reason. Julia says they would want to keep Vanessa in because James would go after her. If Austin wins next week, he would target either Becky or Johnny Mac, whoever stays. Liz says they need to make sure they don’t let Vanessa know what they have found out. Julia says that she is afraid of Vanessa’s social game and Austin points out it’s not a social game. It’s manipulation. 5:05 PM BBT Austin starts to cuddle in with Liz and Liz jokes that if Austin and Julia don’t act as her servants this week, she’ll have to put them up on the block. Julia leaves the HOHR and Austin and Liz cuddle and talk about what they are going to have for dinner. Liz tells him he has been promoted to executive chef for this week. 5:11 PM BBT Austin tells Liz about his conversation with Meg in the WA and they talk at length about the lie that Johnny Mac caught Vanessa in. 5:20 PM BBT Steve and John are still “chessing” [playing chess], while Austin and Liz practise what they are going to say to Johnny Mac. 5:25 PM BBT Steve and John finish their chess game. In the HOHR, Liz and Austin are anticipating that John will come in. John goes into the HOHR and Steve goes downstairs. Liz asks who won, and John tells them Steve won the chess game. John says that he goes for the pieces, but Steve goes for the kill. Liz gets down to business and tells him she hopes he isn’t mad about her making him a Have-Not and that she had no choice. Austin brings up the weird stuff with Vanessa, which started with Vanessa trying to backdoor Austin. Austin says something happened today and Vanessa came up and told them about something about a lie. John smiles and says that Vanessa told him that when she was up in HOHR she was trying to make sure that they weren’t targeting Johnny Mac. Liz and Austin tell him that everything he says will stay in the room and they encourage him to talk about it because they are getting wise to Vanessa. John tells them that he is lying to Vanessa to avoid her blowing up because it’s not even relevant anymore. John repeats what he told Meg in the HNR about the blow-up with Audrey, Da’, and Jason.

4:35 PM BBT Austin, Steve, and Vanessa are in the HOHR talking about Johnny Mac. Steve says that they know that James, Meg and Becky will put them up. If Johnny Mac wins, they don’t know who he would put up. Steve points out that keeping a question mark is better than keeping someone they know is targeting them. In the KT, Liz is talking to Meg and James. Liz asks Meg if Becky is mad and Meg says no. Liz says that she is worried about Johnny Mac because he’s going rogue. Meg confides that John’s main concern is Vanessa. Liz says that’s good. Liz says let him think that because at the end of the day Vanessa is the one he should be worried about. Liz tells Meg that Vanessa is telling them that John is being mean to her. Liz points out that all anyone needs this week is three votes and then goes on to repeat her narrative on why she put John and Becky up. Meg repeats that John is worried about Vanessa and Liz agrees that Vanessa is a “sketchball.” 4:39 PM BBT In the HOHR, Steve recaps that the goal for the week is to get Johnny Mac on their side. Austin says it’s a numbers problem. Austin suggests that Vanessa and Steve could be a three-person group with John. Steve asks if that’s possible, and Vanessa says she is open, and it was John who “hates” her. Vanessa encourages him to tell John that she is not against him. If Vanessa/Steve/John are a three-person group, that makes them equal with Austin and the twins, and they can work together until final six. Steve says stage 1 is a pep talk to help John with an attitude adjustment, and stage 2 is to get John on their side. Steve says that John only bathes with Irish Spring and Austin says “sounds like a winner in my book.” 4:45 PM BBT James and Liz are in the KT. Steve and John head upstairs to play chess. Austin and Meg are whispering in the WA. Meg is telling Austin about her conversation with Johnny Mac. Meg tells Austin that John caught Vanessa in a lie. Austin already knows what that is about. Austin thinks it’s great because no matter who wins, it will work out either way because John and Becky both have the same target. Meg lets Austin know that John’s main concern about Austin is whether Austin is with Vanessa. 4:48 PM BBT Vanessa and Austin pass each other on the spiral stairway, Austin heading up to HOHR as Vanessa leaves. Austin is on his own for a bit while Liz goes to get water. When Liz comes back, Austin says it’s beautiful what’s happening. He tells her that she looked pretty during her speech. She feels she did terrible. Julia comes in. Austin says that the problem now is that Steve is trying to smooth things over with Johnny Mac. Austin tells her that Vanessa is making a side alliance with Steve and Johnny Mac and Liz says she doesn’t want her to do that. Austin says that Vanessa is the one doing it. 4:55 PM BBT In the HOHR Austin and the twins discuss their worries about Vanessa and whether they should tell Steve their concerns in order to stop him trying to smooth things over with Johnny Mac, because they want Johnny Mac to continue to target Vanessa. They are worried if they talk to Steve, he might tell Vanessa because what if Steve is closer to Vanessa than they think. Austin tells the twins what Meg told him about Johnny catching Vanessa in a lie, and then Vanessa just came up and tried to cover it with them.

4:00 PM BBT Austin in the KT complaining about Vanessa to Meg and James. Austin is tired of hearing and re-hearing about the incident with JMac just before Clay left. He is also upset that Vanessa told Johnny Mac that he was a pawn when she shouldn’t have been talking to him at all. 4:02 PM BBT In the KT, Austin tells Meg and James that he’s okay with Johnny thinking that Vanessa is calling the shots this week so that if John stays he will target Vanessa. Meg spots an ant crawling on one of the burgers that James is cooking. 4:04 PM BBT James and Austin are looking for a grease can to pour grease off. Meg asks what a grease can is. They decided to use the trash can as grease can. 4:05 PM BBT Austin, Meg, and James are complaining about John being angry. Austin finds it weird that John doesn’t make deals to save himself. 4:07 PM BBT In the HOHR Liz whines to Vanessa, Steve, and Julia about wanting to keep the nominations the same so that she doesn’t have to get more blood on her hands. Vanessa asks Steve if he would use the veto if he won it and Steve doesn’t answer. Instead he asks how they are voting. Liz says that conversation will happen after the veto. Vanessa asks Liz if she knows who she wants out, and Liz is noncommittal. Vanessa goes on about how volatile John is and how he “bust” into a room where they were talking. Vanessa says you just don’t do that. Looking at Steve, Vanessa says that she thinks Johnny Mac is a funny guy and probably a good person, but what is going on with him. 4:11 PM BBT Steve asks Liz what she wants from Johnny Mac on day 58. Liz pauses and says she wants Johnny Mac to want to be here and to stop moping around and come up and have a conversation with her. Liz feels that Johnny Mac is the person she knows least of everyone in the house. Julia points out that Johnny is not playing a social game. Liz is perturbed that John is acting angry. She claims that if she was in his shoes she would realize that she hadn’t made a connection and would have made an effort. When Steve presses, Liz admits that there is probably nothing John could do at this point. Austin is called to the DR. Vanessa tells Steve that he should tell Johnny Mac that all he needs to do is stop sleeping so much and be his goofy self that everyone loves and be open to working with them. 4:16 PM BBT In the HNR, John tells Meg that Vanessa is freaking out because she knows that he caught her in a lie and he is the only one left who knows about it. Meg tells John that she doesn’t think they know who their target is this week and that they are waiting to see how things go. Meg says they are waiting to see if either Becky or John go nutso. John says that he could tell the whole truth, but if Austin is with her... Meg says that she will try to find out, but she thinks Austin really just cares about the twins. 4:18 PM BBT In the HNR, Meg says to John that Vanessa is scary. John says “yeah” and tells Meg about how the fight with Audrey, Da’, and Jason happened. Jeff had said something to Vanessa that someone was saying stuff about Vanessa but didn’t want to talk about it. Vanessa turned to John and asked if John knows what Jeff is talking about. A big fight happens and Vanessa tells Audrey that the information came from John. John hasn’t trusted Vanessa since then. 4:21 PM BBT John asks Meg if Vanessa is just up there freaking out about both of us. Meg says that Vanessa is freaking out about everyone and is starting to get caught in it. Meg advises just letting things happen for a couple of days. John says, yeah, just win the veto and don’t talk. Meg says win the veto and if you don’t win the veto....well... Meg doesn’t finish her thought. John asks who he should pick for veto if he gets HG choice. Not Meg because she wouldn’t use it on him because James would go up. Not Steve because he’s so freaked out. Meg says that Steve is getting away with everything because no one is mad at him. John is thinking he might pick Julia even though it sucks. Meg says it’s tricky but thinks that Steve is the best choice. The problem is that Steve will ask for permission to use it on John. John feels there is no good person for him to pick. 4:26 PM BBT John points out to Meg that no matter how much they blow up Vanessa’s game, Liz et al will not put her up because they know that whether Becky or John stays, either one will be gunning for Vanessa the following week. 4:28 PM BBT Austin comes into the HOHR. Julia is called to the DR. In the HOHR, Austin, Liz, Vanessa and Steve are still talking about Johnny Mac. Steve asks Austin about Johnny Mac. Austin says he wants John to go home because he’s acting so bizarre and he’s so angry. Steve says that John is emotional right now. Austin asks, why though? Austin thinks that John’s demeanor has changed ever since Clay left. Vanessa says that’s because they are cousins and then giggles. Austin says that he thought John looked like he wanted to punch Austin in the face, and he points that John doesn’t try to socialize or talk game....EVER. Steve points out that John has no one since Clay and Shelli left, so he is feeling alone.

12:34 AM BBT Most of the HGs still sitting in the LR talking to Steve about his family. 12:40 AM BBT Steve notes that his picture is really old. He asks Becky if her pictures were older pictures. Becky said that in her first one yes because her family didn’t want to be recognized, so those pictures had to be older. Her friend didn’t mind, so pictures of her friend were newer. 12:42 AM BBT Liz, Austin and Julia are in the WA talking about sharing Liz’s wine. Liz doesn’t want to share with both and said Austin had some last time. 12:50 AM BBT Liz, Julia, and Austin talking in the WA about votes during the DE. Steve is munching on stuff from his basket and still has his letter on his lap. He feels like it’s odd how his family kind of knows the people in the house. 12:54 AM BBT Julia asks Liz who she will pick if she gets HG choice in the PoV. Austin or Julia? Austin would be the logical choice, but Julia hasn’t gotten a chance to play for veto. They start talking about what kind of competitions are left to do. Liz is happy she didn’t get picked tonight. Liz comments that James almost won PoV. Austin thinks that if James had won it, he would have used it and Steve would have put up Becky. Julia says that James said that he was glad he didn’t win because he didn’t want to have to choose who to use it on. 12:59 AM BBT Vanessa talking to James in the OBR. She tells him that they mentioned something to her that she thinks he will like. He says he probably will and has probably been waiting for it. She whispers that it will be a final six. James asks if it will be just called the final six and Vanessa tells him she thinks they should call it “Brass Tacks” ...because they want to get down to Brass Tacks. James loves it. James says it to Steve as Steve comes in and not realizing the reference, Steve says he’s had lots of brass tacks today. Steve is looking for space to put his basket.

12:05 AM BBT John and Becky are talking about work in the KT. They count down for Have-Nots to have food...11:55... 5 minutes to go. [the house clock is 10 minutes behind!] 12:05 PM BBT John has joined the group in the LR. Austin talks about how the live feeds and the show are basically two separate shows. 12:06 PM BBT Becky comes into the LR talking about how many people watch the show. They talk about BB1 and how America determined who was evicted. Applause all around as the Have-Nots can eat. 12:08 AM BBT The group in the LR talking about what a long and draining day it has been. Becky cried after Jackie left. Vanessa repeats what she said to Meg earlier about going through so many emotions in the last day. Vanessa gets up from the couch because there are ants on her. Julia mentions ants in the HOHR too. 12:13 AM BBT Becky and Julia talking about food. Becky is looking forward to new groceries. James, Meg, Liz and Austin are at the DT while James and Meg eat. 12:15 AM BBT Meg is talking about having to pack Jackie’s stuff. She says that she wants to pack her own stuff, so next DE she would pack her own stuff just in case. 12:17 AM BBT In the LR, they are talking about the “purple room” ... Becky says she can’t sleep there. John says he never tried the purple room. They talk about their preferences between the CBR and the OBR. Meg repeats that no one should sleep next to her because whoever she sleeps with goes home. James shouts from the KT to the LR “That’s why I don’t sleep in her bed!” 12:20 AM BBT In the LR, they notice that all of them are together in the KT/LR area. There are only 9 left. It’s not a circus anymore. 12:22 AM BBT Steve comes out of the DR and goes directly to the Storage Room. He brings out his basket and everyone gathers around to enthuse over his pictures. Liz says he looks identical to his mom. Steve says it’s an old picture. 12:24 AM BBT Everyone takes a seat in the LR while Steve reads his letter, which is from his mom. Steve apologizes to everyone that the letter is so long, but they are all listening closely. There is a lot of news from home and encouragement. Becky tells Steve that was one of the best letters yet. Julia is going through the goodies in Steve’s HOH basket. 12:28 AM BBT Vanessa asks if Steve gets to keep his basket all week. Steve asks if he will be allowed to eat it if he is a Have-Not this week. Vanessa and Becky think there will only be two Have-Nots this week. Steve didn’t tell his siblings that he was doing Big Brother. They think he got a job in New Hampshire. They talk about how they packed the Power of Love Veto in Jackie’s luggage. They ask Steve if he’s happy and he nods and says he really needed this. Steve says he doesn’t want to hold others up, but they say they have nothing better to do.

11:28 PM BBT In the CRL, Austin and Julia and Liz are discussing what Liz will say to Becky. Liz wants to know if Becky is the one who ratted out about the eight-person deal. Austin tells Liz that she doesn’t have to explain anything to anyone. She’s the HOH. Austin tells her she doesn’t have to be alone up there either. Liz is still worrying about what to say to Becky. Austin suggests that it’s not a bad idea to let Vanessa speak for her because then others will target Vanessa instead of them. Austin continues coaching Liz on how to handle questions without giving information out or feeling she has to answer right away. 11:35 PM BBT Steve has joined Vanessa and Steve in the KT. Vanessa is saying she can’t believe it. She thought her a** was grass. 11:40 PM BBT Becky, Liz and Julia are in the WA. Becky thinks that they might have to wait a bit longer for the HOH room because they have to “go to the store” for all the stuff for both Steve and Liz. 11:42 PM BBT Most HGs in the KT. Meg is looking forward to food. 11:44 PM BBT John is laying down alone in the CBR. Austin and Julia are at the sinks in the WA. Julia is putting on makeup while Austin putters. Julia leaves and Austin fixes his hair. 11:47 PM BBT In the KT, they are talking about the pending HOH business as they wait for Steve to come out of the DR. Liz points out that Steve’s HOH is shorter even than Becky’s first one. Becky recalls that it was on the July long weekend. Everything was compressed and it went by so quickly. She only had two hours sleep. 11:50 PM BBT The HGs in the KT wonder what is taking Steve so long. Austin, Liz and Julia decide to wait in the LR. 11:52 PM BBT Meg walks by the LR and says she is getting excited for bed, and food and shower! Vanessa is in the LR with Austin, Liz, and Julia. Meg, James and Becky are in the KT. Julia wonders if there will be three Have-Nots this week. Vanessa thinks it will be two and that she and Johnny Mac are up. If there are three, then Steve has volunteered. 11:55 PM BBT John has joined Becky Meg and James in the KT. Becky is talking to the group in the HR and talking about how they are mixing up the comps so that they use different skills. 11:57 PM BBT James is making steaks. Liz complains about how long it’s taking. John wonders if Steve will get music for at least an hour. Becky doubts that he will because it has to stay in the HOH room.

11:00 PM BBT Meg and Becky are contemplating the coming week and looking depressed in the HNR. Becky says she is a walking bullseye. Meg says she wants to eat so bad. 11:03 PM BBT Becky and Meg in the HNR. Becky is hoping that they get James out first, but she’s convinced that she is target number 1, and James is number 2. She doesn’t think Johnny Mac is a target. 11:05 PM BBT Team meeting in the Cabana Room Lounge. Vanessa sitting next to Steve on chairs facing the couch, with Austin and the twins on the couch. They are discussing who to target. They discuss putting up John and Becky. John because he is the only one who can beat her in competitions. Vanessa wants to target Becky so that only one of Becky and Jackie could come back into the game. 11:10 PM BBT Steve leaves the room, and Vanessa lists off the arguments she would use. Austin asks what John would have done if he had won HOH. They speculate whether John would have put up Austin. Austin thinks that John would have put Vanessa up. Vanessa said she had a deal with John. Austin suggests that James would be the replacement nom if Becky or John win PoV. 11:14 PM BBT Vanessa suggests to Liz that she can make a deal with them in exchange for not putting them up. Liz is having trouble figuring out how to go about saying it. Vanessa suggests that she just call it a final six deal. 11:19 PM BBT Liz asks Austin if he will be there when she talks to Meg and James, and Austin says “of course.” Austin is worried that Johnny Mac will be upset or feel like the sixth man on the totem pole. Vanessa reminds them that even if they end up on the block they have the votes. They talk about being Austin’s Angels and set up a sign for their alliance where they make a gun with their clasped hands with index fingers extended and blow. 11:22 PM BBT Steve, Becky and John are chatting in the CBR. Steve tells a muffin joke, but he is the only one that laughs. John asks where everyone is. James is in DR. Meg is in the dentist room. The others are in the Hammock room. Becky says she needs to lay low. Steve asks Becky how she knows they are in there. John is sure he will be a target because he just won PoV. They discuss who Liz might put up. Becky says they need to put Meg up with Becky so that she loses Meg’s vote. John is sure that either he or Becky will be going home. Steve reminds them that with only 9 people in the house, there is a fifty percent chance even if you are not nominated or HOH. 11:24 PM BBT Vanessa and Meg are chatting in the KT. Meg says she has a positive outlook, and asks Vanessa how she is doing. Vanessa tells her that she has been through a whole range of emotions.
