12:48 AM BBT Vanessa, and Steve are in HOHR when John comes in. She starts out joking that John is going up as a pawn and they laugh loudly while Steve shushes them. Vanessa tells John that she was praying for him to come back and she couldn’t ask for a better three-person alliance with John and Steve. She is ready to go from the bottom of the totem pole to the top. Vanessa tells John that Meg and James think that Johnny Mac is the target, but that is not the case. She tells him that Austin and the twins are worried about him. She advises John that Austwins are looking for him to commit to putting up whoever doesn’t go home. Steve leaves the HOHR. John asks Vanessa if he handled the comp okay. Vanessa said he did great ...she almost wondered whether he was trusting her or not. She is so grateful to hear from home and she feels bad that he hasn’t yet. John says he’s okay. Vanessa tells John that she is in his corner for next week. Vanessa feels like she, John, and Steve have a real shot. They just have to be tight-lipped and not make waves. Even if they end up on the block, they can win comps. 12:58 AM BBT Vanessa asks John if he has confirmed to Meg and James that they didn’t have a deal at the end of the HOH comp. John says no, and Vanessa tells him that she needs him to act as if he and Vanessa DO have a deal even though John slipped off. That gives Vanessa a reason not to go after Johnny Mac. 1:05 AM BBT John tells Vanessa that they have a kind of advantage in having been targeted on the block. John says he’s even been evicted and come back. Others in the house have not dealt with how that feels. 1:07 AM BBT Vanessa says that she is the happiest HOH ever and John says he is the happiest zombie ever. Vanessa tells him that Audrey had a dream that John won BB. She says he has a good shot and the applause he got was the loudest she has heard yet. They talk about being interviewed by Julie Chen, and then about John’s nominee speech. Vanessa says please win the veto. She really wants to keep the noms the same. 1:11 AM BBT Julia thinks that Johnny Mac probably hates them the most because they didn’t vote to keep him, and they also influenced Vanessa not to vote for him. 1:13 AM BBT Vanessa and John are saying that it’s not strategically better to go after Austin and the twins. John says he was asked who he would target and he said Meg. Vanessa notes that he would have done the same thing. Vanessa asks John not to tell Meg and James. Vanessa tells John that Meg and James were sacrificing for each other, and that kind of loyalty has to be broken up.

12:00 AM BBT James and Meg are in the HOHR talking to Vanessa. They are talking about last week’s plan to backdoor Vanessa. Meg thought the veto would not be used. If the plan was to use it, they would have been worried that they would go up. Meg says even if she used it she would not have used it because then James would have gone up. Vanessa backs up and says “well the rest of the house was after me.” James says that everyone is worried about the number of final five deals that are around. James is worried that Meg and James are at the bottom of everyone’s totem pole. Vanessa asks them to clarify something about when she was on the block with Shelli. Vanessa is trying to confirm her instincts. 12:07 AM BBT Meg tells Vanessa that it’s a surprise to her that there was a plan to backdoor Vanessa. Hearing about that makes her feel like she wasn’t in on the conversations at all. Meg had no intention of using the veto. Vanessa says she is concerned because there was a lot of talk about targeting her and no one came to tell her. She has issues with so many people in the house, she doesn’t really know what is best for her game. She says the irony is that she worked hard for the veto for the team so that nominations could stay the same. It was a hard week. This week is a re-build, re-set week for her. 12:11 AM BBT Vanessa asks Meg why she didn’t tell Vanessa about what was being said about Vanessa. Meg tells Vanessa that she feels open right now, but she has felt nervous and intimidated around Vanessa because she is such a strong player. Vanessa asks James and Meg how they feel about being pawns. Meg says of course no one wants to be a pawn. If you are a pawn, you want to be sure of the numbers and if either her or James go up, they technically can’t have the numbers. Vanessa points out that if she puts up one of Austin, Liz or Julia, they won’t have the votes either. Vanessa doesn’t want to put up Steve because he was just up and it was really close last week. 12:14 AM BBT Meg says that her and James have really been on the block a lot, and it sucks. Vanessa understands but explains her position and tells them she is just trying to make this work. She feels better now than last week. She has the opportunity to position herself better and she intends to make good use of her HOH. James offers to go up if Vanessa is planning to put up one of them. Meg starts crying and says she should go up before James. Vanessa notes that this is not a friend zone reaction...this is more like married couple stuff! Vanessa says that she would rather have someone on the block who could beat Johnny Mac. 12:18 AM BBT James tells Vanessa that whatever she decides they will be okay. James reminds her of previous conversations and tells her that he is very humble in this game. Vanessa expresses respect for James and acknowledges the conversations that he is referring to. Meg reiterates that she would rather be on the block on Thursday than have James be on the block. James says but initially if you need to put someone up before that, Vanessa can put James up. Vanessa laughs and tells them they are cute, but they are crazy. They are lucky to have each other. James says “best friends” with a chuckle. 12:21 AM BBT Vanessa asks for a deal ...what do they offer if she doesn’t use them as a pawn. James says that if he wins HOH, there would be no front or back door with Vanessa. Vanessa points out that it will mean that James has to put up one of Austin and the twins. She asks James if he is okay with that. James says yes...this is all just game, and from a game perspective it makes sense because they are a group of three. 12:23 AM BBT Steve, Liz and Julia are sitting at the glass counter in the KT. Austin is getting water from the fridge, and he comments that Meg and James are taking a long time in the HOHR. Steve says they might be pissed that they are going up. Austin says he doesn’t think Vanessa was going to tell them. 12:25 AM BBT Vanessa razzes James about the fact that she is the only girl in the house he has not hit on. She asks Meg and James to send Johnny Mac up. James reiterates that he should be the one he uses as a pawn. Meg rolls her eyes. 12:27 AM BBT Meg is brushing her teeth in the WA. Austin is messing with his hair. James tells Austin to tell John to go up and see Vanessa. John is in the DR. They talk about whether everyone will go to DR. Maybe not if they didn’t compete. Austin thinks maybe he can relax but then they remember that BB might want his reaction to his target coming back into the house.

11:00 PM BBT Vanessa comes out of DR asking who wants to see her HOH room. She is in a hurry to hear from Mel. 11:01 PM BBT Austin is singing the twelve days of BB as Vanessa opens the HOHR door. They cheer as they stream in. Liz and Austin are right behind Vanessa. Liz goes straight to the pictures, and everyone gathers around. Steve and John keep looking at pictures as the rest of the group moves over to the HOH basket. Vanessa has her letter in hand and wants to read it right away. 11:04 PM BBT Vanessa is very emotional reading her letter and feels reassured that Mel still loves her. She tells everyone about Mel’s plans to go to Disney World. 11:07 PM BBT Liz and Julia are back looking at pictures. James and John are sitting on the HOHR bed. Meg is checking out the fridge. Vanessa got ice cream, and cottage cheese. Vanessa says thank you to BB. It’s the best basket ever, and she needed it so badly. 11:11 PM BBT Everyone enthuses and then Vanessa tells them to go cook their food. She doesn’t want to hold them up. She tells everyone to feel free to come up to the HOH. She doesn’t want to be all by herself in the HOHR all week. Vanessa is super happy. Meg takes the ice cream down to the freezer for Vanessa. 11:14 PM BBT Vanessa is re-reading her letter already. She’s so happy. She gives Steve a hug. She says she really needed this. Steve leaves, telling Vanessa she will be back later on tonight. 11:15 PM BBT Liz and Julia are listening to Vanessa’s music. Julia is dancing around. Only Vanessa, Austin, Liz and Julia are still in the HOHR. Vanessa asks if any of the others have asked anything. Vanessa says James finally said congrats, but Meg hasn’t said it. Vanessa reiterates that she has to put both on the block. Why would she put JMac on the block if he is with them? 11:17 PM BBT Vanessa and Austin discuss plans while Julia and Liz listen. They talk about the deals they want to make and how they see things unfolding. Julia is not paying attention because she is working on turning the monitor on. They talk about Johnny Mac as the back door option if Meg or James win veto. 11:19 PM BBT Vanessa says that Meg and James have a very strong social game. Steve and Johnny Mac have NO social game. Austin points out that Meg and James have the jury. Vanessa says she had a weird vibe from Shelli. Shelli avoided hugging her. 11:20 PM BBT Vanessa says that she is working things out with Steve, but that he will never be to her what Austin Liz and Julia are. Steve has worked with them far in the game and is a good ally because he’s not a back-stabber, but he is also a bit of a wimp when it comes to big moves. She is less afraid of Steve than James. Vanessa can’t read JMac, but Steve and Johnny Mac together make a pair that can be a target ahead of her. 11:22 PM BBT Vanessa talks about Meg spilling information earlier in the day and letting Vanessa know that Meg has been talking to Austwins. Vanessa asks what exactly they talked about with Meg. Austin tells her it was about the 5-person alliance with Steve, Vanessa and Austwins. Vanessa says that didn’t even come up... just that there were a lot of overlapping alliances. Meg said they had the votes to take a shot at a very strong foursome. Meg told Vanessa that Vanessa would always fall last on their totem pole list. 11:28 PM BBT In the HOHR, Austin asks what to say to Meg and James. They are going to ask. Vanessa asks Austin, Liz and Julia to help her identify plausible reasons to put up Meg and James without revealing how closely aligned they are. Steve comes up and Vanessa poses the question to Steve. 11:30 PM BBT They dredge up the old reason that James threw the Battle of the Block when he was paired with Liz, and he never admitted it. They discuss the HOH comp again, pointing out that if Vanessa had left the house when Becky targeted her, she would have been back in the house anyway, and HOH. Vanessa says that she wants to make a deal with Johnny Mac that if he is safe this week if he agrees to target the remaining Goblin if he wins HOH next week. Vanessa isn’t looking to put John up even as a pawn. 11:32 PM BBT Meg and James are in the KT eating. Meg says they are right back to not winning this game. They talk about how the other side is winning all the comps. They will have to take each other out sooner or later. If Vanessa keeps Austwins too long, she won’t have the votes. James says that DE is coming up, and Meg says not til next week. They are wishing that Johnny Mac had won. James says that Vanessa told him that it’s great to win HOH especially when you were the target last week. Meg says that Vanessa said this morning that she knows they will all have to be broken up. Meg says that she won’t put them all up. James says that he would and Meg agrees that she would too. They talk about all the “final five” deals...that’s reason enough there. Plus there is both a power couple and twins. Meg says that Austin doesn’t win comps. If he had been competing in this HOH, he would have fallen off before Julia. James asks if they should go up separately or together. James comments that Vanessa knows they are together. Meg says she will be mad if they target Meg and James because they haven’t been involved in anything with them. James says it’s about who they can control. 11:45 PM BBT Vanessa asks Austwins not to socially ostracise her, even though they are doing what they do being friendly to Meg and James. Austin asks Vanessa what to say to Meg and James. They talk about just saying that Vanessa is just doing what’s best for her game. Vanessa wants Austin to tell everyone that she wants to see them each individually. Austin and Liz leave and Julia asks Vanessa to explain the issue with James throwing the Battle of the Block when he and Liz were nominated together.

8:29 PM BBT Vanessa tells Austin and Liz that she was tired of feeling indebted and that this week is her turn. She tells them she is going to need to have a lot of conversations because she will need to have reasons for whatever she is doing. Liz says she was so happy that Vanessa won. She needed it. Liz brings up John mentioning the five-person alliance and Vanessa says she has to get to the bottom of that with Steve. Vanessa says it motivated her to know people were trying to get her out. Liz says it was never a question in her mind. Vanessa is celebrating how far they have come. Liz says that JMac needs to go. Vanessa says that she has to do what’s good for her but they have nothing to worry about ever, and she is good for her word. 8:40 PM BBT Steve is in the WA getting ready to have a shower. John is in the CBR unpacking. Austin comes in to talk to him. Austin says I know you were pretty much coming after Austin when John made that comment. John says it’s not personal. Austin says the same thing happened last week...he recaps the week and then asks if they can start over. John says “Dude, it’s all game.” Austin says he is on good terms with Vanessa but he doesn’t know what she’s going to do yet. Austin just wants to make sure John isn’t holding a grudge. John acknowledges that Austin had a deal with everyone and had to break one. 8:43 PM BBT Vanessa comes into the CBR and comments about John unpacking so quickly. Austin explains that he was just clearing the air with John. John leaves to get a missing shirt and Austin tells Vanessa that it feels good to be the bigger person. Austin tells Vanessa that he and John agreed to re-set and be friends again. Vanessa comments that Meg and James didn’t say congrats...they are the only ones. Even John congratulated her. 8:47 PM BBT Julia has joined Austin and Vanessa in the CBR. They ask Vanessa how she is going to play it. Vanessa says that having a pair is a layer of protection because they are easy to go after. Vanessa acknowledges that Austin is okay with Meg and James but she doesn’t feel the same way. Austin points out that if she gets one out, the other one may continue to trust Austin and the twins. Vanessa hates targeting Meg and James but she thinks it’s the better game move right now. 8:50 PM BBT Vanessa knows there is no way to get through an HOH without someone getting angry. Austin brings up the fact that they all made a deal to backdoor the returning juror. Vanessa points out that Meg and James were throwing them under the bus. They have failed her trust test. 8:53 PM BBT Vanessa is listing the reasons she will tell Meg and James. She is ready to say it’s just a game move. James broke his word to her too. He was targeting her before. She could say that she did make a deal with Johnny out there, she owes Austin and the twins because they kept her safe. Austin asks what her reason is for not putting up Steve. She says that if she puts one up, she has to put both of them. Vanessa thinks James is Austin’s only strength competition. Julia says John too... and Vanessa says "ish” 8:54 PM BBT Vanessa says that for next week, she only asks from them that she be the pawn over Steve. 8:55 PM BBT Liz comes into the CBR and Vanessa fills her in. Meg and James have tried to get Vanessa to turn on Austin and the twins. Vanessa was neutral in the discussion in order to hide that she is so close to Austwins. Vanessa thinks it’s more important to target James rather than Johnny Mac because James is the bigger physical threat for competitions. 8:58 PM BBT Vanessa tells Austwins to do what they do. And she tells them that James HATES potball . Austin comments on them winning HOH three weeks in a row

8:06 PM BBT James comes into the LR eating a bowl of macaroni and several people get up to go to the KT to get some. Vanessa is still there, telling Meg that she is in shock, because she is the oldest and least in-shape person in the house. Austin is working out on the LR floor. He says “never underestimate the heart of a gambler.” 8:08 PM BBT Steve has been hoping for an endurance competition that didn’t rely so heavily on arm strength, and really just was a matter of how much you want it. Liz asks Vanessa if she could really have gone on for an hour. Vanessa says “maybe” with a half smile. She talks about sitting on her heels and that she still had both her feet on. 8:13 PM BBT Vanessa says she is going to have rope-burn bruises but it’s worth it to hear from Mel. Vanessa decides she wants some macaroni and she goes to the KT. Austin is working out on the floor and Liz joins him. Austin whispers “thank God. We’re good” but he is bothered by how close it was. 8:15 PM BBT In the LR, Steve comments to Austin and Vanessa that he loves how all the nervous energy they had going into the show was for nothing. Vanessa: we ended up right back where we were. It’s actually funny. Austin: Groundhog day. 8:20 PM BBT Steve and Vanessa are both feeling the effects of the spinning. Vanessa says vertigo runs in her family. 8:21 PM BBT Meg and James are sitting at the DT while Austin paces nearby. Meg tells Austin that watching Austin watch the HOH comp was one of her favorite moments in the house. James says he saw Vanessa looking relaxed and he just jumped right off. 8:23 PM BBT In the LR, Vanessa is telling Steve how she competed. She couldn’t feel her feet...she had to look at them to make sure they were on the disc. Vanessa goes to the CBR and asks John if he fell or not. John says he was going to fall anyway. She tells him that he’s okay anyway, but asks him why he didn’t just take the deal if he was going to fall. John says he couldn’t take that deal publicly. John tells Vanessa good job and celebrates with her “you got it!” Vanessa tells John to keep the feud going. She tells him there is no feud for her. Vanessa says it’s funny how everyone assumes that since John didn’t take the deal that she is going to put him up. She says they have no idea what’s coming. She leaves and John says he wants to talk to her and she says he should come up when she gets her HOH. Austin is in the OBR when Vanessa comes out of the CBR and she explains to him that she had to ask John if he slipped. Austin says “Thank God. The slip heard around the world.” 8:25 PM BBT Austin goes on about how Johnny Mac has declared war and is focussed solely on taking out his target and not thinking of game or winning. Austin thinks John is just filled with hate. Vanessa says that they are going to make final five for sure. Austin tells Vanessa he will support her 100%...whatever she needs. Liz comes in. They thank her for not “pulling a Shelli” up there. Austin cautions Vanessa about trusting John. Vanessa is looking forward to her letter.

7:04 PM BBT Vanessa won HOH. John is back in the house. We have Jeff’s Reels 7:02 PM BBT In the final moments of the HOH competition, it was down to JMac and Vanessa. Vanessa tried to convince John to throw it to her because he’s already safe. John says that he has to do what he has to do. He asks if they want to put a feud on hold for a week. Vanessa says she wants to hear from Mel. John tells her that he hasn’t gotten a letter at all. Vanessa says she can hang on for a long time...like an hour and a half. John says let’s do it then...Vanessa is safe for a week if he falls. Vanessa says ditto. She really wants to hear from Mel. John hangs on a bit longer and then drops off. Vanessa says good job and gives John a hug. She cheers about hearing from Mel. She says she could do that because she’s a “Gumby”. 7:13 PM BBT Feeds are back. Julia is in the CBR saying she wants to throw up..she feels terrible. Most of the HGs are in the KT area. Vanessa is listing off the things she wants in her HOH, including the food/drink she wants, a new beanie, letter from Mel, and her music. Steve says that was second fastest endurance comp ever. They talk about how hard the competition was with all the spinning. Austin says it lasted only 10 minutes. John asks the group how his cheer was. They say it was really loud. John tells them that Julie called hi Johnny Mac. He seems tickled. Vanessa asks John if he was interviewed and he says yes, it was like a near-death experience. 7:15 PM BBT Austin, Liz, and Julia in the CBR talking about if John would have won. Austin says John was an idiot and that he didn’t make the deal. Austin and Liz are both angry. Austin says that John sealed his fate unless he wins the veto. Austin wishes they had taken out Steve but they didn’t know what kind of comp it would be. Austin leaves the room and Julia points out that it would have been one of the three girls if they had sent Steve home. 7:20 PM BBT Julia says that it would have been better if anyone else would have come back. 7:20 PM BBT In the CBR, Liz says to Julia, John is soo done, he just doesn't need to even unpack. Liz says, "His best friends in his room, I'm going to make him so uncomfortable, it's so great." They leave the CBR. 7:21 PM BBT In the WA, Liz is wiping her face using the big mirror by the sink. She says, "I'm sorry you didn't win, you're never going to win sweetie, you're going home. How much do we care, not at all." She throws her paper towel away & walks away with the higher than mighty attitude. 7:23 PM BBT Austin and James meet in the OBR. Austin says that John winning was his biggest fear and he almost did it...that John would come right back. James said...and win HOH. Austin is angry about John saying that he has to do what he has to do...he assumes that John is referring to coming after Austin and the twins. Austin repeats to James that John is an idiot because he didn’t take the deal. James says at least John didn’t win HOH. Austin says it was crazy...it was almost the four jurors down to competing for HOH. 7:24 PM BBT Meg comes into the OBR and laughs at Austin freaking out during the HOH. Austin repeats to Meg about John not taking the deal and that John is clearly coming after Austin and the twins. Meg thinks Vanessa will nominate John, that John will win veto and Meg will go up. 7:27 PM BBT Austin wants to call John out in public to nail him down on what he meant by saying he has to do what he has to do, but he won’t. Austin feels it was a direct dig. James says that John slipped off. John passes through the OBR into the CBR looking for his cup. Austin leaves. John comes back out of CBR and leaves too. James and Meg talk about the competition. Meg asks if they are going to be okay, and James asks why they wouldn’t be. Meg repeats that she thinks she will be replacement nom. James wonders if Vanessa will target Steve. James thinks it’s the best thing that could have happened because there will be pretty much the same targets. The only thing that is bad is if Vanessa decides to go for Austin and the twins instead of JMac. James says this would be the week for her to do that. 7:34 PM BBT Vanessa and Austin talk in the WA. Vanessa says she was motivated by knowing she was a target. Austin can’t believe John tried to make a deal after telling them that he would lie on deals. Vanessa says she doesn’t know why John turned down her offer. Vanessa says that John didn’t have much time to go and she could literally have gone on an hour. Austin asks if he slipped. 7:38 PM BBT In the WA, Austin says, he almost came in there to go at John's throat & ask him what the f**k he meant by the comment. Vanessa says, there's no place in his plan for her. 7:38 PM BBT Austin says, He has no plan he is a kamikaze now, he's offiicially a kamikaze. He was coming in here to shot himself & kill other people. He says, it's World War II in his mind, & he's dive bombing. He says, he's scared of that kid. Vanessa says, obviously she has a lot of thinking to do. She tells Austin, he & the girls won't even go on the block. She says, she has to do what's best for her. 7:52 PM BBT John and Steve celebrate in the CBR. Steve asks John if he trusts her again and John says “oh ya” Steve says “actually?” John: do you? Steve: yes. John plans to be mopey again and they will be distant. They will talk later tonight. John goes to get his luggage in the Storage Room. 7:56 PM BBT Most of the HGs are in the LR. Vanessa goes to request things in DR. Steve is in the HNR unpacking clothes.

12:03 AM BBT Steve asks her to listen apart from the game. He says he knows he doesn’t have her vote, but he wants to rectify things on a human level. He lays out his understanding. Vanessa listens calmly and then re-casts it in terms of Steve positioning himself in the game at her expense. Steve says that he understands that Vanessa is mad. Vanessa corrects him and says she is hurt, not mad. Big difference. John comes in and Vanessa checks Steve’s story. John confirms that the conversation about the 5 happened last week and Steve says he must be wrong then. John wants to go to sleep so Steve and Vanessa move to the BY. 12:08 AM BBT Austin and the twins are sitting at the HT when Vanessa and Steve go out. Even though Steve has already admitted he was wrong, Vanessa asks Austin and the twins again about whether the conversation was last week or this week. Vanessa calls Steve out in front of the others and says she can’t understand how he would screw that up. 12:09 AM BBT Steve keeps repeating that he has admitted that he was wrong, and she just keeps repeating that he is not being straight with him. Austin tells Steve that she just wants honesty. She tells him she’ll give him one more chance but it better not be bullsh*t. Steve and Vanessa move to the hammock. Vanessa keeps saying that she can’t believe that he is Steve Moses and that he got the timing of that discussion wrong. 12:11 AM BBT Steve asks Vanessa what her issue is. Vanessa says that she is angry because he didn’t tell her that he was having doubts but he never let on and she was talking to her and gaining her confidence. Austin and the twins had doubts but she at least knew they had doubts. Steve should have helped her instead of being part of the group trying to get her out. She wonders how fake he is all around. She’s angry because he acted happy that she won the veto. She talks down to him, telling him this is a life lesson for him, because there are levels of authenticity and he went too far. 12:14 AM BBT Steve tells Vanessa that he understands where she is coming from, and validates her feelings. Vanessa says “And..?” Steve takes a long pause and then tells her that in this game, and in life, he has always been mortified of confrontation. He doesn’t like to make anyone uncomfortable. He avoids things and sweeps things under the rug and he did that with her. He should have come to her and addressed it with her, but he didn’t do that. He tried to people please and make others happy and to sweep it under the rug and pretend it didn’t happen. Vanessa says that no, he tried to capitalize on it. Vanessa says that the comfort level with which he did it was borne of his tendency to people please and it’s a life lesson for him. She called him out because he needed to hear it. What he did was shitty and he needed to hear it. It was douchey and he did her so dirty over the whole week. He says that she is right. She asks if he has anything else to say. He says he wants to communicate properly and he wants to apologize (she says yes to that). Steve never wanted to hurt her. In order to avoid hurting her in the short term, he hurt her in the long term. He now sees his mistake. 12:18 PM BBT Vanessa points out that they have opposite tendencies. Vanessa tells Steve that she is very transparent and she expected it from him and he gave her clues that made her think she was getting it, but she was getting smoke and mirrors. Vanessa doesn’t understand why he even did that because it isn’t to his advantage. Steve explains that he was trying to avoid conflict. He says that they successfully got in his head. Vanessa asks him what he would have done if he won HOH, and he says he would have put up James and Meg. She asks why he did the 5-person deal then, if he wasn’t planning to take her out. Steve said he wasn’t completely buying in and once in a position of safety he would probably have tried to work it out with her then. She keeps grilling him on his game strategy and on Johnny’s. She keeps going until she can ask again why he didn’t tell her. Steve repeats that he was people pleasing and was thinking short-term instead of long-term. She presses hard asking if he felt like a douche-bag when they brought Vanessa in to talk to Johnny. She calls him fake again. 12:25 AM BBT Steve finally says all he can do is say he is sorry. She is right and he is wrong. Vanessa takes it further back to when Shelli and Vanessa were on the block and reconstructing what she thinks Steve wanted back then. Steve thinks John was closer to Shelli than to him and he would have been third. Vanessa challenges his take on it. Steve says he is not saying it was right, it’s what he was thinking at the time. She keeps on grilling him about the current week and whether Vanessa might be a back door. Vanessa says that it wouldn’t have been so bad if he wasn’t scheming so hard. She asks again if he has anything else he wants to say. Vanessa calls out to Liz and Julia saying that they are voting together. She will do her best to forgive and he will know when she is over the level of fakeness he exhibited. She’ll get over it if she needs to. 12:30 AM BBT The twins come over to the hammock and Austin listens from a few yards away. Julia tells Steve that they wanted to talk to him because he was one of the first to know they were twins and they love him. Liz says that a lot has happened this week. They have been working with Steve longer than with Johnny Mac and they don’t want him to be upset at them targeting Johnny Mac.

11:03 PM BBT John escapes the chocolate fight by heading out to a quiet and peaceful BY. He sits by the HT with his feet dangling in the water. 11:05 PM BBT Steve comes out to the BY and finds John sitting in silence. Steve tells John that Liz pelted the eating chocolate, and John comments that that’s a rookie mistake. Steve thinks he will go for a swim. Inside, Meg is putting ice on her face because she got hit in the face with a chocolate and has a bump from it. 11:11 PM BBT Meg is worried that she is going to have a black eye. Austin tells her that it won’t turn into a black eye. Julia asks why it’s always Meg who gets hurt? Julia is making crepes while Liz sweeps up the chocolate. James and Austin are pacing around, while Steve stands at the glass counter. Meg is sitting on the KT side of the glass counter holding the ice to her face. 11:15 PM BBT Vanessa comes out to the KT and offers to get Meg a painkiller. Meg checks her face and says it’s starting to look better. Vanessa comes back with the pain killer and asks what happened. Meg says they asked her about her head today to make sure she was okay from the fall during the OTEV competition and we get Fish briefly. Conversation turns to re-living their pot ball game. 11:24 PM BBT John is still sitting by himself at the HT. He’s yawning and rubbing his eyes. Everyone else is in the KT, talking and laughing and fussing over Meg. Meg says it didn’t hurt when she got hit. Meg is still holding the ice to her face. 11:28 PM BBT Julia is still making crepes and telling everyone that she is getting good at it. Vanessa thanks Julia. Meg says all she can see is her father’s face right now. She relays a story about getting a black eye previously...she was just walking on the sidewalk and she fell. 11:32 PM BBT James is getting ice from the fridge for his drink and Meg tells him not to use all the ice...she might need it later! Meg is still holding ice to her face. 11:34 PM BBT Everyone is raving over the crepes that Julia made. James is checking out Meg;s eye. She’s asking him if the inside of her eye is okay. James says it’s okay. Meg says she is embarrassed. Julia thinks it will be better tomorrow since it’s already looking better. 11:37 PM BBT John is still lounging by the HT, but is no longer soaking his feet. He is yanwing and looking around, and then puts his feet back in the HT. Austin is hovering near Liz while she washes dishes. James and Meg are still sitting at the glass counter in the KT. Meg says James is better at the glory hole round than at the pots. James jokingly says Meg needs to lie down...she might have a concussion. Meg says “Stop! They already think I might have a concussion...” and we get Fish. When we come back, James is suggesting that maybe he should give Meg CPR. 11:41 PM BBT John is called to the DR. Meg, James, and Austin are in the KT. John sees Meg’s injury for the first time since he went out to the BY when the chocolate fight started. Liz and Julia have gone out to the BY to play pool. 11:42 PM BBT Julia asks Liz when she talked to Vanessa...did she talk to her about votes? Julia asks if she saw Vanessa in the bathroom. Liz says yes, but Vanessa was talking to Austin. Liz says they are leaning to JM going. Julia wonders if Vanessa is in...Liz says they are all going to vote together. They discuss John and Steve both feeling betrayed by them. Julia says she would rather work with Steve any day. 11:47 PM BBT Steve goes to check the Storage Room for ice packs. Meg said she couldn’t find any and James suggests that maybe Becky took them all. James is trying to make an ice pack from the ice dispenser on the fridge. Meg says she can’t get over that. Steve comes back with no ice packs. Steve hopes that Becky’s foot is better. James says that’s because Becky got a cortisone shot, and we get FISH. 11:50 PM BBT In the KT, James and Steve are listing all the injuries, trips, and falls Meg has had. They start talking about move-in day and we get FISH. 11:54 PM BBT Meg says she is going to lay down. She doesn’t feel good right now. James follows her. Austin is out in the BY watching the twins play pool. Vanessa is laying down in the CBR and Steve comes to talk to her. Steve asks if she wants to talk or should he talk. Vanessa says that she doesn’t have much to say. Steve tells Vanessa he’s confused. He only gets a few words out before she interrupts. Vanessa is angry that last week Steve didn’t tell her about an alliance with Austwins, Steve, Johnny Mac. Steve says “an alliance with the five of us??” Vanessa says that she asked him about it today, and doesn’t he know what she is angry about? Steve tells Vanessa that the conversation that they had about Vanessa was this week. Vanessa says “during Austin’s HOH?” Vanessa says she is talking about when Liz was HOH they formed a five-person group. Steve insists that it was this week. Vanessa insists that it happened last week. Everyone else said it was last week. Steve says then he is missing something. He says it was this week. 11:59 PM BBT Steve says he must be putting things together wrong in his head. Vanessa gets mad and says he is being shady, and this is what gets him in trouble with everyone, and he is going home this week if he doesn’t clear it up. Steve keeps telling her that he was missing something, and she has just filled it in. Vanessa is exasperated and calls him out saying that he is scrambling again like he always does. He should just come clean. She is giving him the time of day and instead of coming clean he is giving her. She starts crying ...she thought he was her only friend in this place and she is so hurt by him.

2:34 PM BBT Austin and John are continuing their workout in the BY. They pause briefly and you can hear Meg tell them about spilling pasta sauce on her shirt. Austin says he will have to “carb up” after this one. In the KT, James is helping Julia empty the trash. James is telling everyone to dig in. Meg comes back in from the BY while James calls out to Austin and John to tell them the food is ready. Steve complains that it’s full of peppers and onions and everyone yells “STEVE!!” Meg tells him that it’s spaghetti and meatballs and he can eat it. 2:38 PM BBT James has the first plate. He tastes it and says that Olive Garden has nothing on it. Meg is sitting at the DT now. Julia says what is up with James...he’s cooking now and everything. James credits a woman’s touch. [Meg’s] 2:45 PM BBT Steve, Julia, Liz, James, and Meg are all eating their lunch at the KT. Vanessa comes in saying it smells so good! Vanessa asks who made it. Liz did the meatballs, while James and Meg made the pasta and sauce. James was the chef and Meg was the sous chef. They talk about the BB Chef competition they had. 2:47 PM BBT Austin has been telling John about how he never intended to be in a showmance, but he just really fell for Liz, and he wanted to protect her and wanted to make it a commitment. He says it makes him feel better going into the wrap party in case “someone” hits on her. 2:53 PM BBT James takes Meg’s plate when she is done, and the twins remark that James cooks AND he cleans. Meg says that James has been really sweet today. Julia says James is like a sour patch kid...first he’s sour and then he’s sweet. 2:56 PM BBT They are talking about pot ball being at 9pm. Liz is whispering and gesturing... can’t hear what she’s saying but it causes Meg to call “James! What are you doing?” James has gone to the OBR. Liz and Julia follow him there to see what he is up to. Julia thanks him for the meal and asks what he is going to do this afternoon. He comes back and Meg asks him why he is looking at her. James says he is just admiring Meg’s beauty...the twins say awwwwww. Steve tries a pickup line and messes it up.

2:00 PM BBT Meg and James are cooking in the KT. In the HOHR, Austin is saying to the twins that he thinks Johnny Mac should go, or else make a deal with him that he will throw the next HOH if they keep him so that they can target whoever comes back in the house. Steve is scary too because he will probably win the days comp. Austin says it’s still early. They’ll talk about it more. 2:02 PM BBT Liz and Julia are left in the HOHR. Julia wants to clear the air with Vanessa and make sure Vanessa is not mad at the twins. Julia says that Vanessa doesn’t hold it against them, but she hates Steve. Liz is mad at Steve and thinks he was stupid. She thinks it’s unfortunate that you can’t be mean to anyone in the house or she would have put pots and pans on his head and thrown his clothes in the hot tub. They discuss how they will vote...to keep Steve.. and wonder if Vanessa will vote with them. 2:08 PM BBT Liz is ranting to Julia (and to live feeders) about how John sleeps all day and floats around and eats only cereal or fruit, and he doesn’t cook even eggs. He will eat chicken even if he didn’t make it. 2:10 PM BBT Austin chats with Meg and James in the KT and then heads out to the BY. John is in the BY on a lounger. John chats with Austin a bit as he gets up and goes inside. Austin is setting up weights. In the HOHR, they are still complaining about Johnny Mac. 2:15 PM BBT Liz points out that Vanessa is the swing vote. Julia and Liz want John out and they think Meg and James want Steve out, so Vanessa is the swing vote. Julia says that if JMac wins he will put up Austin and Liz and if one of them get PoV, Julia will go up. 2:19 PM BBT John has joined Austin in the BY for a workout. Meg and James are still cooking something in the KT. Julia is in the HOHR WA still talking to Liz in the HOHR saying that she should not have made that deal. Liz says she couldn’t hear anything Julia just said. They talk about who made the deal...it was Austin and Steve and the twins are not going to take the blame. They think Meg and James might find out and come after them because of it. Julia hugged Steve after the veto and she says she is wearing all black on Thursday because it will be Johnny Mac's funeral. 2:25 PM BBT John and Austin are still working out in the BY. The metal of the weights is hot in the sun. Steve is sitting at the glass counter in the KT munching on something while Meg and James continue cooking pasta. 2:29 PM BBT James is trying to get a pasta stain out of Meg’s shirt and tells Meg she is going to have to take that shirt off. Meg laughs. James advises her on how to get the stain out. Julia is sitting next to Steve at the glass counter, and reading the label on her drink. Meg has gone to change her shirt.

11:03 PM BBT Austin, Liz, and Steve are in the HOHR. Austin is trying to figure out what reason he would give for putting up James. Steve points out that James tried to throw the PoV when James and Liz were competing together. Austin says he has a reason to put James up if Vanessa uses the veto, but he doesn’t know if she will. Steve asks Austin who he thinks is most likely to put him up next week and Austin says James. Steve says, okay then. 11:05 PM BBT Meg is on the BY couch, John is soaking his feet in the HT, James is standing near the HT talking to John about being in the military and being away from family for a long time. Steve gives Austin a word of caution that John hates the word “alliance.” The word “team” is okay, but John hates the word “alliance.” Austin says that in BB, they use alliance. Steve says he’s just trying to help Austin communicate with Johnny Mac. They are waiting to hear from Vanessa. 11:08 PM BBT Vanessa is out of the DR. She was in there for a long time...maybe 2.5 hours. She settles down on the HOHR couch to talk to Austin, Liz, and Steve. Austin tells her that he doesn’t have any compelling stuff on James if he had to put James up. Vanessa says that she would only want James to go up if they were planning to send him out. Vanessa relays information from her conversations with Meg and James that she felt went really well. They discuss who Meg and James are targeting....whoever comes back into the house, unless it’s Jackie that returns. 11:16 PM BBT Steve asks Austin what the advantages and disadvantages of evicting Johnny Mac. Austin says he can’t think like that right now. He needs to talk to other people first, and also has to consider who might come back into the house. They discuss whether they can make a deal with James in return for keeping him safe. Liz turns it around and asks Steve to tell THEM what he thinks the advantages and disadvantages are of keeping Johnny Mac. Steve is quiet for a moment and then says he doesn’t have anything new to add. Steve’s concerns is that they need to squash the people that are coming after them. Austin says Meg and James probably are the most likely to come after them. 11:22 PM BBT Liz points out that John is a lone wolf and someone they can work with vs. Meg and James who are together. Vanessa asks Austin to let her know what he wants her to do, and then leaves the HOHR. Steve sticks around to avoid leaving at the same time and then goes to tell Julia to ask Meg and James to come up. 11:24 PM BBT Vanessa tells Julia what Austin wants, and Steve tells her that Austin wants to talk to James first. Julia pulls on a sweater and then heads out to the BY on her errand. In the CBR, Vanessa is advising Steve not to push someone else’s agenda because it might put a target on him. Vanessa felt Steve was giving Austin a hard sell, and tells him that Austin does not like to be controlled. 11:26 PM BBT Julia comes into the CBR saying she doesn’t know what to do because John, James, and Meg are all in the BY together. 11:29 PM BBT James goes up to the HOHR to talk to Austin and Liz. Austin tells James what John told him about James supposed to throw something to him, and James denies strongly. Austin asks James about his conversation with Vanessa. James says that Vanessa asked about Meg and how to approach Meg, and also asked James what he would have done had he won the DE HOH. Liz confirms that Vanessa told them the same. James tells them that he was compelled to throw the PoV where he was competing with Liz, but then he had second thoughts and ultimately did not throw it, but he had to make it look like he was throwing it. He was stuck in the middle. 11:34 PM BBT Austin lets James know that Vanessa says she will do what Austin wants her to do with the PoV. Austin says that she is still really looking after her own game. Austin tells James that he is listening to Steve and Johnny Mac to get more information, but he really doesn’t want to go back on his deal with James. James is surprised when Austin tells him that Steve and John have been working together since Da’Vonne was in the house, and that Steve and John had a final four with Shelli and Clay. 11:43 PM BBT Austin doesn’t feel like John has the brains to be the mastermind, and Steve must be putting things in John’s mind. James points out that Vanessa felt that John also didn’t come up with the idea that caused the blow-up with Clay just before Clay was evicted. 11:48 PM BBT In the CBR, Vanessa and Steve discuss who John is connected to. In the HOHR, Austin says that John doesn’t talk game to anyone that Austin knows. James points out that all the people John spoke to have gone out. Liz says that it’s obvious that the noms will stay the same, but she’s on board for targeting the person who comes back into the house. 11:55 PM BBT Meg joins Austin, Liz, and James in the HOHR and they start to tell her what they have been saying about John. Austin says that he has heard a lot of stories today. Austin says that no one really knows how close they are as a [group of] 5. Austin tells her that John told him that James had told him that James would throw the last HOH comp to John if they were the last 2. Meg is quiet until Austin tells her that James told him that what John said was a bold-faced lie. Meg is dumbfounded. Austin tells Meg that Steve and John had a final four with Shelli and Clay... and they keep rehashing.

12:01 AM BBT Vanessa and John are resting in the CBR. Vanessa breaks the silence, asking John if he has any information that would give her a reason to do something different than what Austin wants, then he should tell her. John says that if he goes home, he goes home. He’s been on the block so much, he’s just kinda like...dead. Vanessa sympathizes and tells John that he handles it very well. John thanks her. 12:03 AM BBT John says that he felt like they knew a back door was coming. John thought that was what the plan was. Vanessa is trying to find out if there was a plan to back door her, and she asks John again. He says no, and Vanessa says you never know in this game. John repeats that Meg was probably upset at the thought of James leaving. 12:06 AM BBT Austin, James, Meg and Steve are sitting at the DT and eating. Liz passes by and asks what they are eating. Austin gives her a bite. 12:11 AM BBT James, Liz, Steve and Meg are at the DT. James and Steve talk about a chess game they had. Vanessa comes over and tells them that they are going to do DRs with everyone so be prepared. We get Fish briefly. When we come back, Liz and Steve speculate that they’re going to ask about their Zing. Julia is sweeping the floor. 12:17 AM BBT John is laying on his bed in the CBR, with his head propped up. He is wakeful and sighing periodically as he stares into space. In the KT, Meg, James and Steve talk about gay marriage. Meg tells them that her dad was one of the first people in New Jersey to marry a gay couple. 12:19 AM BBT James says he is still hungry. He wants to get so full it hurts. Meg wants to be called to DR. Julia says she wants to have a shower and go to sleep. They talk about Zingbot being way bigger in person than on TV. James is doing pushups on chairs in the dining area...he has his feet on one chair and a hand on each of two others. Liz comes in with a tray of goodies and puts them in the centre of the table. Meg leans over the table to check out the tray. 12:23 AM BBT Vanessa is asking Steve to give her his word that she was never a backdoor target. She is having yet another conversation about why Meg was crying. Steve repeats that Meg doesn’t want to lose James, and he adds that he thinks Meg was a little embarrassed. Vanessa says that Meg started crying as soon as she knew Vanessa won and Steve reassures her again that Meg was worried for James. 12:24 AM BBT Julia is sitting on the HOHR bed while Liz sweeps the floor in the HOHR. Liz laughs at Steve thinking that Vanessa would use the veto on her. Julia asks whether they should evict Johnny or Steve, but she thinks it’s time for Johnny Mac to go, and that would remove the person Steve is working with. Julia doesn’t think they should backdoor James and Liz agrees that it’s not time for that. Julia is hoping that James or Meg won’t put the twins up because the twins have not targeted James and Meg. 12:28 AM BBT Vanessa is laying out on top of the covers of her bed in the CBR talking to John about not feeling well. She is extremely nauseous. John suggests that sucking on a lemon can help with nausea. Vanessa doesn’t feel up to getting up to try that, but thanks John for the advice. 12:29 AM BBT James and Meg are sitting at the glass counter in the KT. James is chatting to Steve who is pacing nearby. Liz is going through the goodie tray on the DT. Steve is talking about working out.

11:20 PM BBT FEEDS are BACK and Vanessa has won PoV and has NO plans to use it. 11:21 PM BBT Vanessa, Austin, Julia and Steve are in the HOHR. They are wondering why Meg is crying so hard. They wonder if she thinks she is being backdoored. Austin and Vanessa leave the room, and Julia tells Steve that she thinks Meg is upset because she thinks Vanessa will use the PoV on Steve and that Austin will backdoor either James or Meg. Julia tells Steve that Vanessa hasn’t said whether she will use it. Steve is comforted because he has the votes to stay. Steve is surprised that they combined face morph with Zingbot. He likes it as a fan but not so much as a player. 11:26 PM BBT Most of the HGs are in the KT. James is silent, leaning on the glass counter and propping his head up with his hand. Austin and Liz are making food. John, Steve, and Julia are milling around the KT. Vanessa is in the WA talking to Meg. Meg is having a shower and is still emotional. Meg is really embarrassed and feels like she looks like a ditz on the show. Vanessa tries to comfort her and wants to give her a hug to comfort her but can’t of course because Meg is showering. Meg apologizes saying she didn’t mean to take away from Vanessa’s win. Meg didn’t recognize her own face in the face morph. Vanessa tries to give perspective by reminding her that they are all in a parking lot. Vanessa tells Meg that she actually did really well. Meg came in third overall. Meg says she’s okay, and they all leave her to have her shower in peace and quiet. 11:29 PM BBT Vanessa, Liz and Julia are in the HNR talking about cycles and birth control. Julia asks Vanessa if Steve expects her to use the veto. Vanessa tells the twins that she told Meg that the plan is not to use the veto and she thought that Meg cheered up a bit. Vanessa doesn’t feel obligated to use the veto on Steve because he never talked to her about picking her for HG choice. They talk about whether they should John or Steve home. Vanessa reminds them that Austin wants Steve around to help them study for the next HOH. 11:37 PM BBT Vanessa and Steve chat briefly in the OBR. Steve tells her she did something right... six somethings actually. Vanessa is really happy. She tells Steve that she wonders why Meg was crying. They both think Meg thought there would be a backdoor. 11:38 PM BBT James and Julia are in the WA brushing their teeth. Vanessa is in the HNR folding clothes. 11:42 PM BBT In the KT, James, Austin, Vanessa and Julia are chatting about how bad they are. Julia says Roberta Kennedy told them to have fun. We see FOTH 11:46 PM BBT In the KT, Steve says this is the earliest they have done face morph. Austin says he’s excited because that means there are new comps. Austin says if they did the face morph on the body, that he and James would have had it. Austin says yeah...blindfolded, by feel. A Body Morph comp. James says it could just be butts and he and Austin would get it all. 11:49 PM BBT Meg is out of the shower and putting on make-up while she talks to Vanessa and Julia. 11:53 PM BBT In the KT, Steve suggests to Meg that a game of chess would cheer her up. She laughs. In the CBR, Vanessa is now asking John why he thinks Meg was crying. She asks John directly if that was the plan...to backdoor Vanessa...is that why Meg was crying? John tells her that he was just told that he was a pawn. John said that he told Austin okay because the Austwins are all he has. John tells Vanessa that Meg was crying because she might lose James and that’s all she’s got. 11:55 PM BBT Vanessa tells John that she is going to do whatever Austin wants her to do with the veto. She and Austin had some words this week and she feels she owes Austin. Vanessa abruptly changes the subject and starts telling John about her cycle. They talk about the comp a bit and John tells her she killed it.

5:13 PM BBT James still hasn’t guessed it and they are starting to give him hints. BB warns them not to quote dialogue from movies. 5:15 PM BBT James has no idea and they can’t believe he hasn’t gotten it. As he gets hints, James says “fits like a glove” and they think he will get it but he still doesn’t know. Meg says think about it...glove, car, news, football player....?? John says if someone said those five words, he would say this name. Finally James guesses O.J. Simpson. 5:18 PM BBT It’s Steve’s turn to ask questions. He asks several questions about what the person is known for. Unlike James, Steve is asking a lot of questions, and since he is the one who usually counts, no one actually knows how many he has asked. They think he’ll die when guesses who it is. He says he feels like he should know this person, and they say he does. He figures out that it’s a BB17 cast member. He finally guesses Jace and everyone applauds. 5:24 PM BBT Steve thought they picked a great name for him to guess. Austin and Liz are in the KT hugging. John steps away from the LR for a bit. Liz asks what time it is and they comment that it’s significantly later than OTEV. They start talking about veto competitions. 5:27 PM BBT Meg says it’s taking so long! Julia asks why they can’t just tell them when. Steve suggests that they play chess. 5:29 PM BBT James is asking BB to give them something to do. Liz shouts that the camera is turning....Zingbot is about to come in!!! Austin says “no, they would tell us” Everyone is complaining of boredom. Austin asks “what if they do a 2 am comp? They’ve done that before.”

4:33 PM BBT Liz is still asking questions. Steve is tracking how many she has asked. When Julia tells her the name has been said in the house, Liz guesses it right off. James tells Meg it’s her turn. 4:38 PM BBT Meg is asking questions. James wants to give her a hint but Vanessa says Meg can get this. She just has to ask the right question. She knows who they mean, but can’t think of the name. Meg thinks they pick hard ones for her. 4:40 PM BBT Julia takes a turn. After asking a few questions, Julia starts guessing names and they tell her she’s not even close. She should ask more questions. 4:43 PM BBT Julia makes another guess and she’s so far off that James says “we got her on this one” Liz tells Julia that she isn’t asking good questions. Meg says it’s a hard one, but Liz doesn’t think it is. Julia is swearing because she can’t figure it out and Liz tells her she has said the name while in the house. Julia wants to give up so Liz gives her a hint and she gets it. 4:48 PM BBT Vanessa is taking a turn at asking questions. Mostly the girls are answering the questions and the guys are listening in. James lets one go and Julia throws a pillow at him. Vanessa finally guesses it. They want James to guess next and send him out of the room. 4:54 PM BBT James is cooling his heals while they try to choose someone that they think he will know. James says he didn’t realize he was so dumb that they can’t find one they think he will know. They finally come up with one and James comes back and starts asking his 20 questions. He asks four questions and takes a couple of guesses. He takes one more guess and gets it. They tell him he must have heard!! They can’t believe he guessed Hulk Hogan so fast. He says he would put his right hand on the Bible that he didn’t hear it but they insist he has to go again. 4:59 PM BBT James goes into the CBR to wait this time so that there will be no question of him overhearing the person they picked. James starts making guesses before even asking a question. 5:02 PM BBT James asks if it’s Hannah Montana’s dad and the twins think it’s cute that he knows “Hannah Montana” but not “Billy Rae Cyrus”. James would rather guess than ask questions so they ask him to ask more questions. Austin complains that he didn’t even hear who it is, so Vanessa goes over to him to let him know. 5:07 PM BBT Liz grabs some chocolates and says that she is going to throw one at him every time they say no to a question. James takes ages to come up with a question and they complain. Vanessa suggests a line of questions to prompt him. James has still only asked 10 questions and they are picking Steve to be next.

4:15 PM BBT Vanessa suggests a jumping contest. She outlines a space where they can take a run at it and a line they have to jump from. They’ll use a chocolate to mark the distance they jumped. Steve wants Meg to go first. Julia likes the idea and tries it first. Meg says she can’t do it, but she’ll watch and cheerlead. James is next. 4:18 PM BBT James takes a long leap and falls awkwardly. Vanessa says that he gets style points. 4:19 PM BBT We get FISH briefly and when we return, the HGs move to the LR. Steve and Liz sit in the nomination chairs, Julia and Meg are on one couch, Vanessa and John on another couch. James is pacing. John starts asking questions...looks like they are playing 20 questions again. 4:25 PM BBT John exhausts all his questions without guessing the person, and they give him some hints. He finally guesses that it was Robin Williams. Liz leaves the room so she can ask questions next. 4:28 PM BBT Liz guesses after only 3 questions and everyone is convinced that she heard them, but she swears she didn’t. Liz gets to go again.

11:33 AM BBT Austin is in the WA using a small straightening iron on his hair. Vanessa is also in the WA doing ADLs. 11:36 AM BBT Austin and Liz hug in the HOHR. Liz remarks that it’s weird how late it is and they haven’t even picked plays. They lay down to cuddle. BB tells Austin to relocate his transmitter. Liz asks who they call to DR for the veto picks, and Austin says it would be him. They start making out. James and Meg are at the DT. Julia is sitting at the glass counter, and they are talking about Shelli getting a banner “I love you S” when Shelli and Clay were on the block. 11:44 AM BBT In the HOHR, Liz and Austin are talking about the worst case scenario of John winning the veto. Liz says the best case would be to have Meg, James, or Vanessa to win the veto. They start talking about the jury and that the jurors are bonding and there is probably growing animosity toward Liz and Austin. Austin speculates that they are wondering why no one is taking Austin and Liz out when they are running the house. 11:50 AM BBT Julia is eating at the DT and talking to James and Meg. John and Steve are still resting in the CBR. Liz is in the OBR folding an outfit. Julia comes in and Liz makes a hand signal to get her attention. Liz gives Julia a whispered warning that Steve is in Julia’s bed. 11:57 AM BBT Liz and Julia are cleaning up in the KT. Meg is laying down in the OBR and talking to James. James is talking about how career-driven New Yorkers are.

11:00 AM BBT John is in the shower and Meg is putting on makeup. James says that it would suck to be a woman. They have so much to worry about healthwise and they have to put on makeup. Meg says that James has to worry about being an a**hole all the time. Both John and James say they don’t have to worry about that...it just happens. 11:07 AM BBT John and Steve talk in the CBR. John asks Steve if he talked to Austin last night. Steve responds but doesn’t have his mic on. He puts his mic on. Steve says he saw Vanessa leaving the HOHR before the nomination ceremony, so he’s learned the importance of being the last one in Austin’s ear. Steve thinks the replacement nominee will be either James or Vanessa. John asks Steve if he thinks anyone else will use the veto on them. Steve says James and Meg want Vanessa out, Vanessa and them want James out, so they think the others will use it, but Steve says they can guarantee it if they win it themselves. 11:15 AM BBT Vanessa, John, Meg, Austin, and Liz are sitting at the DT. James is in the KT. They wonder whether they will see Zingbot and what door Zingbot will come in. James says when Zingbot comes, high energy! 11:19 AM BBT James says it will suck if they think Zingbot is coming, but he doesn’t come until the SECOND 8th. They continue to talk about how the zings are so perfect. 11:23 AM BBT The HGs in the KT and at the DT agree that when Zingbot zings Steve, it will be EPIC. 11:25 AM BBT James, Vanessa, Meg and the twins are talking about the order that HGs went home in BB16. James wonders why they wanted to get rid of Donny. They talk about how Donny was an underdog and that he was Americas’ favorite. John has gone back to the CBR to lay down, and all is quiet there.

11:00 PM BBT Vanessa is giving James pointers on how to throw better for potball. She doesn’t understand why James isn’t better at it when he has such good aim. James says that Julia needs pointers too. Meg is really good at it. 11:02 PM BBT James tells the group that there is something on the screen that says “Be Ready” He is pranking the group but they don’t buy it. 11:05 PM BBT Vanessa tries on the short blonde wig. She says everyone tried it on but her. She laughs about how it looks on her. She says it doesn’t look cute. They all agree it doesn’t work. 11:06 PM BBT James, Meg and Julia are commenting on how late Steve stays up. James says Steve will stay up until 8 in the morning. They don’t know how he does that. Meg says it makes you sleepy when you have nothing to do. 11:07 PM BBT In the HNR, Vanessa is telling Steve that he has to spike his hair every day. Steve says he doesn’t have time. Vanessa says it takes two minutes and they have nothing to do! Steve says his schedule is jam-packed. He has to pull a name, and he has to compete in a competition. They talk more about Steve’s hair and Vanessa comments that she eats too much junk in the house. They go into the CBR and Steve thanks Vanessa for “everything.” Vanessa asks what he means and he thanks her for all the support she gives him, including a hug she gave him. Steve says that 80% of the hugs in the house involve him. He wants to find someone to cuddle with. He says that she knows what he is talking about and she says yes. Vanessa tells him that he doesn’t have to know the answers, he just has to go for it and do what feels right. As Steve leaves the room, Vanessa is in the CBR wondering when they pick players for the veto comp. 11:16 PM BBT John and Steve are in the WA. John thinks everyone wants to use the veto, but for different reasons. Steve says that they need to win HOH next week. This week should make it clear that they can’t let things go anymore. That part of the game [when you throw competitions] is over. 11:18 PM BBT Meg and Julia are raiding the OBR for pillows and blankets. Julia tries to throw a blanket over James as he sits in one of the nomination chairs. Austin looks on from the couch. Julia and Meg are plotting in the OBR. 11:19 PM BBT In the WA, John is brushing his teeth while Steve uses the WC. Steve comes out of the WC and they talk again about others using the veto. Steve asks John if he knows who he is going to pick to play veto and John says “probably Meg” If he gets HG, John thinks it doesn’t matter who he picks because everyone is going to use it. 11:24 PM BBT In the LR, James and Austin are waiting for Liz to come out of DR. Meg and Liz are waiting with them so they can warn Liz that Austin and James are going to pelt chocolate at them. Meg thinks she hears Liz coming and Julia stands up with a blanket to shield Liz when she comes out. Liz shoots out of the DR and the girls run down the hall to the OBR screaming. Liz has the bag of chocolates [the ammo]. Austin and James follow the girls into the HNR where they are hiding behind the chairs. They take Liz as prisoner. She pretends to be passive and then pelts them with chocolates. Steve is taking a shower while the chocolate wars continue into the Cabana Room Lounge. 11:29 PM BBT Liz is gathering ammo while Meg and Julia plot their next move. Liz throws some chocolates through the door, but it turns out Austin and James aren’t there. 11:31 PM BBT Meg, Liz, and Julia are trying to use a blanket as a shield so they can leave the CRL. They leave the room, but end up huddling under the blanket under the floor in the hallway while James and Austin pelt them with chocolates. BB gives Austin a microphone warning, and Austin says “we’re killing three of them and all they care about is the microphone!” 11:40 PM BBT Austwins, James and Meg are cleaning up in the KT. Liz hugs Austin and then pulls away and swats him saying he is way too sweaty. 11:46 PM BBT Meg and James sitting opposite Steve at the glass beam counter in the KT while Julia washes dishes. 11:47 PM BBT Steve says that he has made a hobby out of saying Meg’s name and then proceeds to repeat her name several times over with different intonations. 11:51 PM BBT Steve tells Meg and James that his hair is very stylish. Steve says “I’m very sexy.” Steve says that’s why he gets the women and James doesn’t. James says “Hey!” and points out that he is the one who gave Steve the haircut. He calls Steve ungrateful. 11:53 PM BBT Julia decides to take a shower in the WA. She doesn’t feel at home in the HOHR now that it’s Austin’s. Julia says Liz should go up to HOHR and Liz says no. Julia tells Liz that she plays so hard to get. 11:56 PM BBT James, Meg, and Steve are in the OBR chatting about taking showers before you go to bed. 11:57 PM BBT James says that Meg is finally warming up after 65 days. If they had been like this on day 1 she would not have had anything to do with them. Steve says that everyone thought he was a weirdo in the first week. And now they still think he’s a weirdo. 11:58 PM BBT James accuses Meg of taking the bag of candies he had stashed under his bed. He threatens to spray something in the room if she doesn’t admit taking it. Steve and Liz are joking around and Liz gets cornered in the Storage room, with Steve camped outside. James comes over to help Steve but they end up letting Liz out when she threatens to tell Austin.

5:00 PM BBT Liz and Austin are making out in the HOHR and chatting intermittently. Austin tells Liz that putting up Steve and Johnny Mac will make Jackie happy in jury...she will see his loyalty to Meg and James in case Jackie comes back. Becky and Jackie both have other targets (Vanessa and Steve, respectively) if either of them come back into the house. Shelli would have to align with Vanessa if Johnny Mac is gone, and Vanessa is now “locked and loaded” so they are all covered. Unless Johnny Mac win’s veto. 5:07 PM BBT James, Julia, Meg, and John are sitting in the KT. They chant “devilled eggs” and James says they are going to be great. In the HOHR, Liz and Austin are still making out. 5:11 PM BBT In the KT, they are talking about pizza crust. James swears when he bites into his piece of pizza because it’s too hot. Liz and Austin cuddled together and talking about what a good position they are in and how well Austin handled things with Vanessa. He made her beg for her life the way that she made him beg for hers, and that put them back on an even footing. Austin tells Liz about the conversation he had with Vanessa, and her response to his questions about what she told Shelli and Clay about the 8-person alliance. Austin thinks that Vanessa is telling the truth and Johnny Mac might be lying. 5:15 PM BBT Austin says it’s so bizzare “in there” [DR] when Johnny Mac is targeted. Liz says John is so awkward she can’t stand it. He’s annoying and they don’t have fun with him. He’s dead weight and sleeps all day. Neither John nor Steve help Liz when they saw her struggling to take out the trash. Austin asks “they didn’t help you?” and says that’s justification for them to go up right there. Liz complains about how long Austin was in DR and suggests that he was flirting with Amy. Austin says he knows she has flirts in there too and Liz admits she likes Robert. Austin tells Liz that she’s his girl. Liz wants to shower, listen to music, and nap. Austin says it’s her week and she says that no, it’s his week. She will cook for him. 5:18 PM BBT In the HOHR, Austin talks about eventually having to sacrifice one of their alliances. Liz complaining to Austin about Steve...why are they afraid of him? He’s a nerd. They discuss Vanessa being obligated to them now, and if Austin gets put on the block at some point he has three votes. They talk about if Johnny Mac came right back in the door. Austin sees him as the least of his worries in terms of the potential returning jurors. Liz says he would have to pay the consequences, “and that’s me!” ..she snaps her fingers. James, Meg and John are sitting at the DT while Julia and Steve go to the Storage room to look for baking powder. 5:27 PM BBT Vanessa is sleeping in the CBR. John is still sitting at the DT, Meg and Steve are at the glass counter in the KT, and James is standing at the stove. Julia is screaming in the Storage room, and Steve goes to her. 5:32 PM BBT Austin and Liz have joined the group in the KT. Everyone telling Austin they love his shirt. Meg is asking James what he put in the devilled egg filling. Mayo, mustard, and bacon? James says it’s delicious. 5:34 PM BBT Austin is doing stretches on the LR floor while Julia and James test/sample the devilled egg filling. 5:36 PM BBT Julia wants James to put Worcestershire sauce in the filling. Meg and Julia keep saying “Worcestershire” over and over, trying to get it right. Vanessa comes into the room and grabs a piece of pizza sitting on the DR. Austin is doing push-ups on one of the DR couches. 5:38 PM BBT Meg is reading information about vitamins that she is taking that she feels are helping her. Austin comments on the new smaller table. Now they have so much room to pelt each other. James says he knows and he can hardly wait! 5:41 PM BBT Johnny Mac has gone to lay down in the CBR. Steve is laying down in the OBR. Most of the HGs are chit chatting in the KT area. Austin goes to the CBR to talk to John. Austin says that even if Vanessa wins it, she’s gonna use it if Austin tells her to. John says to just put on a show, and he knows he is okay. John stands on the bed and gives Austin a hug. Austin repeats that everything is okay and then leaves. John lays back down. A few moments later, Vanessa comes in and settles into her bed for a nap. 5:47 PM BBT Austin joins Meg and James in the KT. They are talking about Edward and Jacob, characters in the Twilight movies. 5:50 PM BBT All is silent in the CBR where John and Vanessa are snoozing. Julia is sneaking up on Steve in the OBR trying to tickle Steve awake. She wakes him abruptly and then says “I scared Steeevvvuh! Yes! One point for me! Zero for Steve!” and then she leaves the room. Steve hides his head under the covers. 5:54 PM BBT Meg complains of being bored. She is ready to play pot ball, but that’s not for a couple of hours. Julia wonders what it’s like outside. James talks about “peeping tom” and that it’s an actual crime to look into peoples’ windows. James has seen it in the police blotters. Julia thinks it’s creepy. Meg and Julia agree it’s scary. 5:56 PM BBT Meg tells Julia and James about not realizing her window was across from a public library and she didn’t have blinds. Once she realized it, she made sure she got blinds for her window. 5:57 PM BBT Austin works out using chairs from the DT. They talk about working when they leave the house. Austin says even if they win the money, they’ll be paying lawsuits to Irish Spring. 5:59 PM BBT Julia complains that James is putting the devilled eggs on the table already. She wants to save them for an appetizer when they eat, and it’s too early.

11:27 PM BBT Liz and Julia debate whether Toby or Clyde is cuter. Julia tries on a red clown nose. Steve asks Austin who the people in the picture are. Austin identifies one friend and someone else he only met one time. Vanessa is sitting quietly on the couch looking sad. Steve comes over and tweaks her cap as if he is going to take it and she leans away to prevent it. Meg is sitting on the bed listening while Julia, James and Liz pace around and check things out. 11:31 PM BBT Vanessa is checking out the music and shares the headphones with Julia. James is flaked out on the bed, while Meg perches on the edge. John, Vanessa and Steve are on the couch, Julia pacing, while Liz hovers at the table checking out the basket. Liz comments that she is jealous of Austin’s basket and Meg comes over to tease Liz about how hard her life is. They want to know why he got a clown nose. Liz brings the clown nose over to put it on Austin. 11:34 PM BBT Liz tells Austin she ate all of his beef jerky. He says he doesn’t mind. The twins are helping themselves to whatever they want in Austin’s basket. Meg comments that she can’t eat the beef jerky. Austin is checking out his music. 11:42 PM BBT Vanessa is wondering if it might be midnight yet. Liz is listening to Austin’s music and says she likes it. James has custody of the clown nose. Vanessa says the clown nose is epic. Austin thinks that the clown nose has made an appearance in HOH baskets of the past. He would have thought James would have gotten it because he’s the prankster. Liz says it feels weird that it’s just them...they are missing so many people. 11:44 PM BBT Steve is looking forward to sleeping in a bed and being able to finally have the treats in his HOH basket. John comments that this is the hardest half hour. Liz recommends the Mac and Cheese. Steve asks Julia about her crepes. He asks if he can have one. 11:48 PM BBT The Have-Nots are counting down. Steve, Vanessa and John leave to go prepare the food they can finally eat at midnight. After they leave, Meg and James stay behind to talk to Austwins. They get down to brass tacks. Austin says that Vanessa is already going off half-cocked with her ideas, and of course she had information that she withholds and brings up out of nowhere. She obviously saved it for when Austin won HOH. He thinks she has something she saved for each person in case they win HOH. 11:50 PM BBT Austin tells James and Meg that Vanessa was trying to plant the idea that James doesn’t trust Austin because he was competing so hard for HOH. James says he didn’t want to appear to throw it because Vanessa would notice. They complain about Vanessa’s game talk. Austin thinks Vanessa threw the comp. Austin says it depends on the veto whether she goes up or not. Austin relays Vanessa’s pitch for not going up as a pawn because they wouldn’t have the votes if Vanessa is on the block. Austin tells James and Meg that he doesn’t want to put either of them up if he can help it because he likes them better than anyone else. Meg thinks Vanessa is all over the place. Austin points out that if Shelli comes back she would work with Vanessa. But so would Johnny Mac. 11:55 PM BBT In the HOHR, Austin, Liz, Julia, James, and Meg talk about the HOH comp and speculate what the comp will be next year and that it probably won’t be the same as last year. James is asked for his opinion and he defers to Austin saying that it is Austin’s HOH and that he just wants to support. Austin wishes that Vanessa could have just been happy he won and celebrated with him rather than going right in to giving him information about Shelli, who isn’t here anymore. She could make up anything. He wonders what she would have said about Austin to James if James had won HOH. Meg comments on how terrified Vanessa has been and that Vanessa really has no idea what Austwins are thinking. Meg is think about the DE and that Vanessa has had a hand in every eviction. 11:59 PM BBT Austin comments on how weird Johnny Mac’s speech was. Meg asks if Austin is going to talk to Johnny about that, and Austin says no. Meg thinks that Johnny has given up. Austin just wants to make sure he makes the right move. If he pulls the trigger on Vanessa it’s going to be holy he**. Meg wonders why Austin is so terrified of Vanessa. Austin explains he is thinking of numbers, and the returning juror, but he is tired of her talking. He doesn’t think that Vanessa is targeting him. There is a lot to think about with the numbers in the house so small. Austin is thinking in terms of who is least likely to hold a grudge if they come back...he thinks probably Johnny Mac.

11:00 PM BBT In the CBR, Vanessa and Julia talk about studying for competitions, days, and counting the number of things in the house. Vanessa brings up the luxury comp and that they have overlooked it in their previous studying. Julia asks questions about prior weeks and Vanessa fills her in. 11:04 PM BBT Julia asks Vanessa who she thinks will come back from Jury. Vanessa says it depends on who they send to jury this week. They discuss sending Johnny Mac. Vanessa says they can’t control him. Julia talks about James going. Julia is nervous about James putting her up. Vanessa asks Julia if Austin trusts her, and Julia says that he does. 11:08 PM BBT James, Steve, Austin, Liz, Meg, and John are talking and laughing in the OBR. They tease Meg about being pelted with chocolates and anticipate a zing from Zingbot about it. In the CBR, Vanessa and Julia are still whispering. Julia doesn’t think Austin will take James out. Julia says that if Steve and JMac go up, JMac wins the veto, and the choice is between Steve and James, she would evict James. Vanessa: of course. 11:11 PM BBT Vanessa runs the numbers with Julia. They need 3 votes still, and there will be no HOH tie-breaker. If Vanessa or John go up, they won’t have the numbers, but if they put up Steve, they do. Julia wishes Steve had won. They talk about scenarios of how the returning juror will affect numbers. 11:13 PM BBT Austin is called to the DR and everyone cheers. 11:18 PM BBT Meg, James, John, Vanessa, Liz and Julia are in the KT. There is general chit chat as they wait. 11:22 PM BBT Steve is wrestling with Julia in the WA where John and Vanessa are hanging out too. Austin comes out of the DR and everyone heads upstairs to see his HOH room. 11:23 PM BBT Austin waits for Liz to be beside him before he opens the HOH door. They all chant “letter, letter, letter” and shout and cheer as they go in. They yell “Clay Aiken.” Julia and Vanessa head to the pictures and others go to the basket to see what Austin got. They are all milling about. Vanessa notes that Austin got a bathing suit. Liz is checking out the fridge. They start chanting “letter, letter, letter” again but keep exclaiming over his basket. They finally settle down to listen as Austin reads.

12:05 AM BBT Steve and John head downstairs from the HOHR. In the KT they discuss the chairs at the DT. They aren’t staggered properly so they fix it by swapping two chairs of different colors. Steve goes to take a shower and John goes into the CBR and puts away his toiletry bag, feeling his way in the dark and being quiet so he doesn’t disturb Becky. In the HOHR Liz is still complaining that Vanessa wanted her to do the talking to Johnny Mac. Austin reminds them that they should not let on that Steve was in the room at all. They practise the story line for Meg and James, which is to say that they were reassuring Vanessa so that she will throw the HOH comp. They are worried that Julia isn't listening and will accidentally tell the truth instead of the story line they have agreed on. They make Julia repeat the story line. 12:10 AM BBT In the HNR, John and Vanessa chat as they settle in. Vanessa mentions that he has to prepare his speech for tomorrow and then he can get off this block. John says he can’t wait and thanks her. Vanessa says she knew from the beginning that John would be fine. She talks about some of the discussion around Becky staying because of her injury and the concern that she could heal before veto. Vanessa says she hopes the comp is physical because then she will get a workout. That seems to be the only time she does a workout. Vanessa says that it would be good if the comp required flexibility...she’s weirdly flexible. John calls her Gumby and Vanessa says her family calls her that sometimes. Vanessa offers for John to practise his speech on her tomorrow if he wants. He says he will. They say goodnight. 12:12 AM BBT In the HOHR they are watching Steve on the screen. Julia thinks it’s creepy that Steve is staring at the memory wall. Liz and Austin tell her that he is studying! That’s what you do. That’s how Janelle crushed her competitions. Jason studied too. Julia worries about Steve seeing Meg and James if they come up. Austin says that people expect to see everyone come to HOHR on Wed night to try and influence the HOH, but they are okay because the other groups in the house all want to take out Vanessa. 12:14 AM BBT Steve is wandering around the KT area by himself. Austin gets into bed and Julia is still on the couch. They think that Meg and James are sleeping and may not come up to the HOHR. They watch Steve walking back and forth in the KT. Liz comes back into the HOHR from the HOHR WA. Julia complains again that Vanessa did not want to do the talking. Liz says that just proves that Vanessa knows John doesn’t like her. Austin worries about keeping Steve out of things means that Vanessa has that on them. She could flip on them and use the fact that Steve is working with them to blow up their game. 12:19 AM BBT Julia turns out the lights in the HOHR as she leaves. Liz and Austin cuddle in. Liz complains about the camera following them. Austin says not to let them get to her. They hug. Steve is moving around in the WA getting ready for a shower. 12:25 AM BBT. Austin and Liz are kissing and cuddling in the HOHR. Julia settles into her bed in the darkened CBR. 12:28 AM BBT All the feeds show silent, darkened rooms.

11:00 PM BBT John is in the WA brushing and flossing his teeth. James and Steve are piling pillows on top of Julia who is laying on the LR couch. Julia complains that she can’t breath. James bats the pile of pillows and Julia says “ow” James jumps on top of the pillows and you can hear a muffled “Jamesssuh!” They joke around and then take the pillows off, putting them back where they got them. 11:05 PM BBT Julia goes up to the HOHR. Liz is in the HOHR WA brushing her teeth and Julia tells her about Steve and James piling pillows on her and threatening to tickle her. James and John are both brushing their teeth in the WA while Meg and Steve lounge behind them. James asks John for advice about brushing. 11:08 PM BBT Steve and John are sitting down to have a game of chess. Steve says he can win against John but not against Vanessa. John says that Vanessa is good. In the HOHR WA, Liz and Julia discuss who should be evicted. Julia is irritated by Becky, but Liz is adamant that Becky has to go because Becky is coming after Liz. Julia comments that Becky hasn’t even campaigned, and Liz says that she hasn’t and that’s a big mistake on her part. 11:13 PM BBT Becky is emotional and in a lot of pain. She tells James and Meg that can’t sleep from the pain and she is so exhausted. She can feel the pulse in her toe because it’s so swollen. Vanessa goes up to HOHR and is whispering with Liz and Julia. The twins ask Vanessa about whether to keep Becky after all. Vanessa says no one wants her to leave more than I do. Liz thinks that Becky is more after Liz than Vanessa because Liz put Becky up on the block. Julia wants to hear what Austin thinks. The debate continues. 11:14 PM BBT Vanessa finds it strange that John hasn’t even asked her for her vote. Becky hasn’t campaigned either. Julia brings up the possibility that even if Becky can’t compete, she might be better for veto. 11:20 PM BBT Vanessa, Austin, Liz and Julia are huddled on the HOHR bed. Vanessa is talking about her and Liz approaching John about a deal. They discuss how they can make use of Becky’s injury to gain assurances from John. Becky is called to the DR. Austin wonders if Becky is playing it up, but Vanessa points out that the treatment Becky has received indicates that her injury is real. Vanessa wants to pull John in right away, and Steve can come in too. 11:25 PM BBT Austin goes to get John while Vanessa tells Liz that she has to do the talking because John doesn’t like Vanessa. Liz doesn’t want to do the talking, so Austin gets tagged to do it. Vanessa outlines the plan...to tell John that if they keep him, they need to know that he is not going to come after them. They control the votes and decide who is going home. 11:29 PM BBT John and Steve are still playing their chess game and keeping Vanessa and Austwins waiting in the HOHR. While they wait, Vanessa tells them that if she has the HOHR in future they can sleep up there. She doesn’t care where she sleeps as long as it’s not the HNR. Austin asks if Zingbot is a person in a suit. Vanessa says yes and Austin asks if he can pelt Zingbot with chocolates. 11:32 PM BBT The group in the HOHR talk about staph infections. Vanessa explains how you can get a staph infection. 11:41 PM BBT Steve and John decide that their game is a stale-mate. They head into HOHR. Lights are out and all is silent in the Ocean BR. 11:42 PM BBT There is some chit chat about their stalemate before Austin gets down to business. Austin mentions that with Becky’s injury even though James and Meg will probably vote the other way, they want to keep John. Austin mentions that they think it will be an endurance comp that John might do well at. He is sympathetic that it must be hard for John to be up against Becky. Liz says they just want to re-affirm. John thanks them. Vanessa says that if it’s an endurance comp, John should kick a**. He is light and strong and tough. He has survived hypothermia. 11:47 PM BBT The HOHR group talk about competitions and obstacle courses they have participated in. Vanessa wraps up the conversation by saying they just wanted to have everyone know where they were at. John is happy. They talk about how they did in the last endurance comp. They were all shocked that Jackie was out so early. 11:55 PM BBT Vanessa leaves the HOHR room and heads to bed, leaving Steve, John, Austin, Liz and Julia in the HOHR. Austin says good job. Liz starts to tell John that Vanessa wanted to deal and Austin says “why do you think I wanted to go out and ask [steve and John] to come in” Austin warned them about Vanessa wanted to make a deal. Liz complains that after Vanessa initiated the discussion she didn’t want to do the talking. Austin thinks that Vanessa will throw the HOH comp for sure tomorrow. Austin tells them that Vanessa told him she is throwing it. They discuss who James and Meg are targeting if they win HOH. Austin thinks they are after Vanessa too, so even if John and Steve go up they will be pawns. 11:58 PM BBT Austin says he’s worried that Vanessa flipped out that Austin wanted Chinese food. He thought she slipped and exposed that she had anger for him that she didn’t mean to let out. John mentions that it was just that Vanessa wanted to choose what they have because of all the food this week with BB Chef and all the alcohol in the house during their Have-Not week. John points out that it was just Have-Not frustration and not personal against Austin.

7:29 PM BBT In the LR, Vanessa is taking a turn at asking 20 questions of Austin, Liz, James, Meg, and John. Steve is in the WA cleaning his glasses, and then goes to put away laundry in the CBR. Becky is laying down there and when Steve complains about a sore back from sleeping in the dentist chair, Becky advises Steve that he should try some stretches with Austin. Steve asks if Becky is okay and asks her why she is hanging out in the CBR. She tells him it’s because she is trying to get more sleep. 7:35 PM BBT Vanessa is still asking questions in the LR. Steve is back in the WA and then joins the HGs in the LR, sitting next to John in the empty nomination chair. 7:36 PM BBT Vanessa gets the answer in her round of 20 questions. It was a tough one. Julia comes out of the DR and Liz is called to the DR. Vanessa asks if people want to play zoo. Mixed responses and no momentum to play. James starts setting up for pot ball, which will start in an hour. Conversation turns to food. Austin starts listing the steps to getting IN N Out to them, and we get FISH. 7:42 PM BBT Julia has a new catch line she came up with for Irish Spring, and keeps messing it up. Meg tries to help and says that it was good, but they can’t remember how it went. 7:43 PM BBT Vanessa and John are in the HNR. Vanessa says there is a lot of young energy. John says he is so hungry. He’s never had IN n OUT before. It’s going to be the best part of the day. They anticipate how good everything will be. Vanessa settles into her chair and starts reading. 7:50 PM BBT Steve, Liz, Austin, and Meg are in the KT. John and Vanessa are still in the HNR. Meg is eating something because she is so hungry. Austin tells her not to spoil her appetite. We get FISH. When feeds come back, Vanessa is in the KT talking about reading her bible and chilling... and we get FISH again. 7:55 PM BBT Meg, Liz, Austin and Steve are in the KT area. Vanessa is back to reading in the HNR, where John is trying to snooze. 7:57 PM BBT Austin, Liz, Meg and Steve talking in the KT about take-out food they have enjoyed. Liz says she is going to die when she sees Austin’s 4-stack burger. Meg says “no, I’m gonna die” [Meg is vegetarian]. We get FISH. 7:59 PM BBT The feeds have gone to Jeff’s Reels. It’s time for the houseguests to enjoy their In-N-Out meal.
