  1. I feel the same way. There are a lot of honorable great people who have served in the military, and then there are some like Cody. Social rejects and general assholes. I have no respect for someone who acts like he does.
  2. They're just taking up space at this point. I think Jessica actually could have been a good player, but she allowed herself to sink to Cody's level.
  3. BREAKING NEWS: Cody got out of bed. More breaking news: He's back in bed with Jessica. The excitement never ends.
  4. I saw a clip of her doing a radio show a few years ago, and while she portrayed herself as pretty much a bimbo, she just didn't seem as downright mean as she is now. Maybe she's bitter because she's no farther than she is in life after all of the "effort" she put into her "career". You're right about her being a bitch right from the start of the game.
  5. Jessica and Cody are both disgusting POS. And Josh was right about Cody ruining Jessica's chances. Maybe they're smart enough to figure this out eventually, after they're out of the house. Maybe not. The sad thing is, Cody isn't even going to care. He's that arrogant. He'll go back to his job as a door-to-door salesman and Jessica can continue to use her body to make her living. She'll never be more than that.
  6. You've shown what you are. I don't need to say more.
  7. What would compel one to "poke fun" at someone's heritage? Your explanation doesn't hold water. Poking fun at someone's heritage is just rude. Some of us embrace diversity. Others don't. Their loss, IMO.
  8. I'm glad he used it on himself too, but of course they'll use it against him now. I don't think he stands much of a chance of making it to F3, but at least he should enjoy jury.
  9. LOL, wow. Just wow. I don't think anyone was trying to be the "PC police". Someone didn't know what the term meant, and others explained it. It would never even occur to me to call my many friends of Mexican descent (I live in southern Colorado) that term. It's not about being "PC". It's about having respect for my fellow human beings. I don't say things on a message board, or in real life, simply for the point of being abrasive. But, hey, if it helps you get through your day, go for it.
  10. He has grown on me too. I do think his letter from his mom was what he needed.
  11. They should get out there and talk to other HGs and make a case that it's a better move to get out someone else. They should plant ideas. But it's probably too late now. They have put themselves in the position they're in. I don't feel sorry for them and I don't respect them because they're, in effect, not playing the game. Instead they waste the majority of their time laying around, staring at each other. They've accepted that Jessica is getting evicted instead of doing ANYTHING to change things. I haven't really ever liked Jessica because of the "mean girl" vibe she gave off right from the beginning, but I really thought she would be a better player. She now sucks as badly as Cody. Edit: I just want to add, whether I like someone or not has nothing to do with my preference for who I'd like to see win. I want to see the HG win who plays the best game.
  12. I so completely agree, which is one of the reasons I find Jessica and Cody to be such lousy players. They aren't fighting to stay in the house. They're just wasting their time, waiting it out. Absolutely no game play at all.
  13. I don't know about other parts of the country, but I would never call anyone that term where I live. That's all I'm going to say, other than that I think Josh is of Cuban descent, not Mexican, if that's who's being referred to in this instance.
  14. Exactly. This show is for entertainment (for us viewers), but it's also a study of how total strangers behave when they're put in this kind of situation. I actually prefer as little interference from production as possible.
  15. Me too, because I'm not a fan of their extended moping. And Jessica has very poor table manners. Edit: Cody eats like a barbarian too. They're made for each other. It's a freaking match made in heaven.
  16. Well, the way he explained it was that he noticed that the biggest numbers were surrounded by little numbers, so he didn't go for the biggest numbers. He aimed for where there were a group of "middle" numbers. Makes sense, but it's basically miniature golf so it depends on how good one is at that. He does play a lot of pool in the house, so he may have known what he was doing.
  17. I have to discipline myself to not watch the live feeds much. They'll suck your whole day away.
  18. I bet she was gorgeous. Sounds like a beautiful mix. This guy wasn't too bad when it came to shedding. When we first got him we didn't get him a fur-cut because we heard we shouldn't. Then summer came and he insisted on spending most of his time outside (he had his doggie door, so it was his choice). He just got so hot that we finally took him in to get shaved. He was so happy. Acted like a puppy. We kept him groomed after that.
  19. I actually think this is going to turn out to be a lively, interesting week.
  20. Yeah, my husband was adamant when our first dog came to live with us that he wasn't going to be allowed on the furniture. Great rule. Lasted until he wasn't looking. After that, he didn't even try to enforce that rule.
