  1. She'd probably expect them to make allowances for her the way they do on BB. She loves that special treatment. That immunity from being a have-not for the entire summer was very convenient. And thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers for my friend.
  2. I don't dislike him, other than my suspicion that he's only there to market himself instead of winning the game. Somewhere I read that he makes something like $3000 a week as a rodeo clown, so being on BB is definitely a cut in pay. I also have a hard time understanding how someone can leave their very young child for the whole summer to be an a reality television show.
  3. Most of them there this season are really making a mockery of the game, IMO. As far as Raven goes, I can't imagine that the Amazing Race would have her on after her display on BB. I'm not doubting that she has gastro paresis, but she seems to be misrepresenting it as a terminal illness and I hope she gets called on it when she gets out and her whole family gets forced to quit playing their charade. I know someone very well who has it. I know all cases are different, but the person I know who has it had half of his stomach removed as a child. He controls his symptoms with diet and medication. He doesn't whine about it constantly and try to garner sympathy. Most people who know him don't know he has it because, like normal people, he doesn't try to have all attention on himself every second like Raven does.
  4. I can't make any promises. I think poor Mark is in for a world of hurt when he figures out that he's just a convenience for Elena.
  5. She might allow him to "do her" just to feed her own ego. She has made references to being treated poorly in high school. Maybe she needs some counseling if it's still bothering her all these years later.
  6. LOL, I wouldn't be surprised if she "does him" in jury.
  7. I think they ALL like to hear themselves talk, except Cody. The argument between Josh and Elena was hilarious. I couldn't believe how Elena was just glossing over Josh's statements about her being attractive to him. I was just waiting for her to say she was NOT attracted to him. It would have broken his heart, but she hasn't really displayed that she cares about anyone's feelings.
  8. Maybe it's because Paul knows there's going to be a double eviction, and maybe even a triple, and wants to make sure he has laid the groundwork for potential targets no matter who wins HOH. I'm not sure that Raven and Matt are sharp enough to figure out they're "floating on the edge of Paul's orbit". Paul roped her in very early and she's screwy enough to think they're really friends. I'd like to see whoever wins HOH put Paul and/or Alex on the block, but in a double eviction there's not much time to get through to everyone how important it is to get Paul out. By my count, there will be six people voting for the second eviction. It could work. It should be a fun night, unless Paul, Alex, Christmas or Josh win HOH. Then it'll just be more of the same.
  9. I watched for awhile last night, and I think it's just a ploy on the part of Christmas. She wasn't speaking kindly about him behind his back. She's an odd one, for sure.
  10. Yeah, but I think it actually may have started when Cody ate Alex's entire box of cereal, and he made it pretty clear that he did it just to be mean. But I still don't like the mob mentality attacking.
  11. Point taken. Hey, we're allowed to attack the HGs here all we want, so call him whatever you like. I was just curious about your motivation with that particular moniker. Josh DOES call people names, like Meatball and Linguine, so I guess he's makes himself fair game anyway in the name-calling department
  12. Elena just said that she doesn't care about food that much, but just wanted to pig out so others don't get to have it. All she did as a have-not was act like she was starving and couldn't wait to eat.
  13. I think it would be hilarious if she just bitched her way right out the door instead of Cody being evicted.
  14. Oh, I laughed at the Paul walking his lapdogs pic too. I agree that Josh acted like a fool when he was trying to antagonize with the pan banging. You're right, nobody has a right to act a certain way because of their heritage. I think some here may be making fun of his way of talking, rather than the actual words that come out of his mouth, if you know what I mean. I think he knows he's going to be going to jury before long. He says he's fine with it. I just don't get how someone basically gives up like that. They should all be fighting 'til the end. They make a mockery of the game when they give up. I didn't/don't respect Jessica and Cody for that same thing. I don't think Cameron and Ramses would have given up like that. Or Jillian, for that matter. Dominique also basically gave up. As far as Josh's business goes, he says he has his own business, but I'm starting to suspect that he actually doesn't "own" a business. He may be in hair care sales where he's essentially working for himself on commission, but actually the company isn't his. Kinda like an Avon salesperson. I could be way off the mark. I just think he'd talk about it a bit more than just saying "I own my own business" if he really did own a business that he started up himself or bought. He does like to talk. And talk. And talk.
  15. Cody just looks bored out of his mind. I hope he enjoys jury more than the house.
  16. I guess I'm a little sensitive about name-calling in general, and about that one in particular. My previous husband used to refer to the daughter of an acquaintance by that particular moniker (just to me, not to her face). She was a teenager at the time, and it was like an overnight transformation from normal size to very big. It was so hard on her. Husband wasn't generally a mean person, but did it in jest. I wasn't amused. The thing about Josh is, he's really not stupid. He does have a college degree and a business, and he didn't buy the degree with money, which means he put in the work and earned it. Maybe he doesn't talk the way some are used to because of his Cuban upbringing and heritage, but that doesn't mean he's stupid. Just my two cents. I know you're not a mean person because I've read your posts and they're insightful and not cruel.
  17. I was actually posing the possibility that Kevin was vying for a possible jury vote from Cody. I, personally, don't think he'll make it to F2. Why do you resort to name calling (Baby Huey???) instead of using someone's name. I know you're not the only one, but I just don't see going to that level. I'm not a fan of Josh, but what's your reasoning?
  18. I'll just add, if Elena ever finds someone that wants a meaningful long term relationship with her, they should definitely watch this season, and this particular interaction. Also, I'd like to see what she looks like in a couple of years with that food obsession that she has.
  19. Elena looks ridiculous stuffing her face while arguing.
  20. Kevin - the great philosopher. He has given Cody a lot of good advice, but I wonder how much is just game. If he makes to F2, he'll have Cody's vote.
  21. Well, I don't know if her fingers were anywhere near Elena, but I wouldn't rule it out either.
  22. She's just so odd. And kinda scary. There's something off about her and I can't quite put my finger on it.
  23. That friendship bracelet was so stupid. I just rolled my eyes, figuring we'd have to hear that stupid friendship thing all summer.
