  2. 'Pie' Star Faces Third Arrest Natasha Lyonne Once again, Natasha Lyonne is a wanted woman for all the wrong reasons. The onetime "American Pie" star, who has publicly fallen on hard times in recent years, has yet another warrant out for her arrest, after she failed to appear at a court date on Friday, January 20, the New York Post reports. Lyonne is facing a number of charges, including her alleged threat to sexually molest her former neighbor's dog during a 2004 altercation. She is also charged with criminal mischief, harassment and trespassing. Friday's hearing was rescheduled after the actress missed court dates earlier in the week. Last Monday, her lawyer explained to the judge that "an emergency has come up," but confessed that he did not know what the emergency was. Natasha Lyonne The latest absence marks the fourth time Lyonne has missed a court date and the third time a bench warrant has been issued for her arrest. The most recent warrant against the troubled actress was cleared up after it was revealed she spent most of the summer being treated at a New York hospital for hepatitis C, a heart infection and a collapsed lung. Per the Post, the actress was also receiving methadone, a drug commonly used to combat heroin addiction. A source familiar with the case told the newspaper that Lyonne's arms were covered with needle tracks at the time she was admitted to the hospital. Natasha Lyonne Lyonne reportedly entered the hospital following a stint at a psychiatric facility. Before that, she was believed to be living on the street, according to the Post article. The actress recovered sufficiently to leave the hospital, but has apparently returned to her prior address of whereabouts unknown. "I'm crying actually. It's terrible, you know. It's my little girl," Lyonne's father, Aaron Braunstein, told "Access Hollywood" at the time. "It's a terrible tragedy, but she's going to get better. We're praying for her and she's a tough girl."
  3. Iraq Blast Injures ABC Anchor and Cameraman by David Bauder Bob Woodruff, left, and Cameraman Doug Vogt, right, were seriously injured in an attack and explosion in Iraq NEW YORK, New York - "ABC News" co-anchor Bob Woodruff and cameraman Doug Vogt were seriously injured Sunday, January 29, in an attack and explosion while reporting from Iraq. The two journalists were traveling with U.S. and Iraqi troops near Taji, about 12 miles north of Baghdad, when an improvised explosive device went off, "ABC News" President David Westin said. Both Woodruff and Vogt suffered serious head injuries and were taken into surgery at a U.S. military hospital in the area, the network said. It was reported that Woodruff and Vogt were wearing body armor and helmets. The two had been embedded with the 4th Infantry Division and were traveling with an Iraqi Army unit. The Iraqi mechanized vehicle they were riding in is considered more dangerous than U.S. vehicles. ABC said the two were traveling that way to get the perspective of the Iraqi military. The U.S. military confirmed that Woodruff and Vogt were injured in an attack near Taji and said an investigation is under way. "They were with an Iraqi Army unit at the time the attack occurred and are at a U.S. military medical facility now," U.S. military spokesman Lt. Col. Barry Johnson said. ABC News Co-Anchor Bob Woodruff Woodruff, 44, became co-anchor of ABC News' "World News Tonight" with Elizabeth Vargas earlier this month, replacing the late Peter Jennings. In an unusual approach to evening news shows, one of the two co-anchors frequently reports from the studio in New York while the other reports from the field, as Woodruff was doing in Iraq. Last week, Woodruff spent three days in Israel reporting on the outcome of the Palestinian elections. He was to have been in Iraq through the State of the Union address on Tuesday, January 31, according to ABC. Woodruff, a father of four, grew up in Michigan and became a corporate lawyer in New York. He took a leave of absence to teach at a school in China, helped "CBS News" during the Tiananmen Square uprising and became hooked on journalism. He has since covered the Justice Department and reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, Belgrade and Kosovo. "When I realized there was a job that existed in this world where I could be in the middle of huge world events and actually get paid for it, it was an epiphany for me," Woodruff told The Associated Press in a recent interview. Cameraman Doug Vogt Doug Vogt, 46, is a three-time Emmy award-winning cameraman from Canada, with 25 years as a professional cameraman, the last 20 based in Europe covering global events for CBC, BBC and now exclusively for "ABC News." He lives in Aix-en-Provence, France. Dozens of journalists have been injured, killed or kidnapped in Iraq since the war began. The most visible among the American TV reporters was David Bloom of "NBC News," who died from an apparent blood clot while traveling south of Baghdad on April 6, 2003. Another journalist, Jill Carroll, a freelance reporter for The Christian Science Monitor, was kidnapped by gunmen on January 7 and is being held in Iraq. Some 250 foreigners have been taken captive since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein, and at least 39 have been killed.
  4. Joaquin Phoenix Uninjured in Car Crash Joaquin Phoenix in 'Walk the Line' Joaquin Phoenix's car overturned on a canyon road and collided with another vehicle after his brakes went out, but there were no reports of injury, police said. Phoenix, the 31-year-old star of the Johnny Cash biopic, "Walk the Line," was driving eastbound above Sunset Strip about 2:50 p.m. when he realized his brakes were not working, said Officer Jason Lee, a police spokesman. Phoenix lost control of his car, which overturned and hit another vehicle also headed eastbound, Lee said. His publicist, Susan Patricola, said in a statement that Phoenix was wearing his seat belt and walked away from the scene after being helped out of his vehicle by a passer-by. Earlier this month, Phoenix won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for portraying country legend Johnny Cash. Phoenix is nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award, which will be handed out Sunday. Patricola told Us Weekly magazine that he will be at the awards ceremony despite the car accident.
  5. Heartbreak News 'Divorce, 90210' Moves Out Josie Bissett and Rob Estes at home with daughter Maya and son Mason Two "Melrose Place" alums are experiencing some modern day drama of their own. Josie Bissett and Rob Estes have have announced plans to divorce, ending their marriage of more than 13 years. Estes, 42, said that he moved out of the couple's Seattle home, where they have lived since the late '90s, nearly seven months ago at her behest. The actor also said that it was his wife, 35, who requested the divorce and that he didn't want it. The divorce is not yet final. Estes made his remarks during an appearance at the Television Critics Association meeting earlier this week. There was no immediate comment from Bissett's representative. Bissett and Estes met in 1991 during a casting call for a TV movie and married May 1, 1992. The same year, Bissett joined the original cast of "Melrose Place," a spinoff of "Beverly Hills, 90210" featuring the trials and tribulations of bed-hopping twentysomethings in a Hollywood apartment complex. Josie Bissett Bissett starred as Jane Andrews Mancini, long suffering wife to Dr. Michael Mancini, portrayed by Thomas Calabro. In 1996, Estes also joined the ensemble. When Bissett became pregnant later that year, she temporarily left the show. Bissett returned in 1998 after suffering a miscarriage and remained with "Melrose Place" through its series finale in 1999. Estes and Bissett welcomed their first child, son Mason True, on July 21, 1999. Their second child, daughter Maya Rose, was born April 14, 2002. After Fox shuttered "Melrose Place," Bissett and Estes kept a relatively low profile, relocating to Bissett's hometown of Seattle. But they recently costarred in the ABC Family original movie, "I Do, They Don't," which aired on the family-friendly cable network last March. Rob Estes Estes just finished filming the big-screen romantic comedy, "How to Go Out On a Date in Queens," alongside Jason Alexander and Kimberly Williams. He has also been busy on the small screen. He costarred with Kristin Davis in ABC's "Desperate Housewives"-esque pilot, "Soccer Moms," which the network declined to pick up, but then signed on to the ABC midseason replacement crime drama, "The Evidence," with Orlando Jones, which will debut later this season.
  6. Pregnancy News Brooke's 'Pretty Baby' Girl Brooke Shields Brooke Shields, who is pregnant with her second child, says of her baby due in May: "It's a girl!" Shields told People magazine in a report Tuesday, January 24, "I wasn't sure I was going to make this public. I'm thrilled for my daughter to have a little friend." "Two Tauruses, it's a huge trick being played on me," Shields joked in the interview. Shields' other daughter, Rowan, who is 2, was also born in May. The 40-year-old actress has been married to TV writer-producer Chris Henchy since 2001. Shields chronicled her post-pregnancy experiences in a memoir, "Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression." Her outspoken support of antidepressants prompted criticism from Tom Cruise, a Scientologist who opposes psychiatry and prescription medication to battle depression. The actress, who began modeling as a toddler, has appeared in films including "Pretty Baby," "The Blue Lagoon" and "Endless Love." Her TV sitcom, "Suddenly Susan," ran from 1996 to 2000.

An insider tells the publication, "The consulate will formalize the adoption and grant Meg's new daughter a visa and a social security number. They will probably be flying back to the United States immediately after the process is complete." Ryan has a teenage son, Jack, by former husband Dennis Quaid. Other Hollywood stars who have discovered the thrill of adoption include Angelina Jolie, Diane Keaton, Sharon Stone, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise and recently Brad Pitt.

The 47-year-old Academy Award winner has given birth to twins, publicist Nicole Caruso told People magazine on Wednesday, January 18. "She had the babies," said Caruso. "They are happy and healthy." No further details have been revealed, including the sex of the babies. The children are the first for both Hunter and boyfriend British actor Gordon MacDonald. The couple met when they costarred as lovers in "By the Bog of Cats" in London in 2004. Hunter was previously married to cinematographer Janusz Kaminski for six years. Hunter first made waves in Hollywood in the Coen brothers' 1987's baby-napping comedy, "Raising Arizona," opposite Nicholas Cage and John Goodman. New Parents Holly Hunter and Gordon MacDonald Since then, the Georgia-born actress has starred in a string of hits, including "Broadcast News," "The Firm" and, more recently, "Thirteen," all of which earned her Oscar nominations. She won her Academy Award, and a Golden Globe, for her role as a mute mother in 1993's "The Piano." Before taking time off for her pregnancy, she voiced the role of the spunky, stretchy superhero mom, Helen Parr, in 2004's "The Incredibles" and appeared in two indie films last year, the relationship drama, "Nine Lives" and the crime dramedy, "The Big White." After a stint of diaper duty, she next appear opposite her "Broadcast News" partner Willliam Hurt for the thriller, "Downloading Nancy." MacDonald had a small role in Terrence Malick's war epic, "The Thin Red Line" and has also appeared on "Law & Order."
  10. Pregnancy News Gwyneth's Fruit of the Womb Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are expecting a second fruit of their loins. Or so we've been led to believe. After months of speculation, the Oscar winner apparently confirmed Thursday that she and her Coldplay frontman hubby are indeed in the family way once again. Following a Screen Actors Guild screening of her movie "Proof" in Los Angeles, moderator Lou Diamond Phillips introduced Paltrow as "a pregnant woman" and asked, "How far along are you?" Paltrow replied, "Far enough along to feel very cumbersome." Patrow's representative, Stephen Huvane, confirmed the exchange to E! News, but claimed that she was not necessarily announcing her pregnancy. Huvane has been working hard not to confirm Paltrow's pregnancy since November, when the glossies first started their bump watch. Gwyneth Paltrow with her mother, Blythe Danner In December, "Entertainment Tonight" quoted Paltrow's mom, actress Blythe Danner, saying she was going to become a grandmother again in the spring. "I hope there'll be more fruits and vegetables coming along, since we're all pretty much vegetarians," she said, adding that the couple "are just sailing along beautifully." Paltrow and Martin, of course, are already the proud parents of Apple, who was born in May 2004. The couple swapped vows in a low-key ceremony in December 2003, shortly after announcing that Paltrow was pregnant for the first time. Unlike many of Hollywood's high-profile pairings, Paltrow and Martin prefer to fly under the radar as much as their fame allows. They rarely attend red carpet events together and carefully guard their privacy. Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow "When I presented at the Oscars last year, everyone would say to me, 'Where's your husband? Is there trouble in the marriage?'" Paltrow said in an interview with Time magazine earlier this year. "And I was like, Why on earth would I bring my husband?" Though she is still very much a working actress, Paltrow's focus is directed more on her family these days. "I could not have fathomed working Apple's first year," she told Time magazine. "I look at certain women, and I think, How do they just go and do films back to back to back?" Even so, the thespian will appear in several big-screen releases in the new year, including roles in the films "Running with Scissors," based on the true story of an extremely dysfunctional family and "Infamous," about Truman Capote's investigation into the 1959 murders of a wealthy Kansas family. Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow Paltrow also recently teamed with her close friend Mary Wigmore to make her directorial debut on the short film, "Dealbreakers," which has earned a berth at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Martin, meanwhile, is in the midst of a world tour in support of Coldplay's most recent album, the chart-topping "X&Y." The globe-trotting band kicked off its tour in Dublin last June and will wrap it up in Perth, Australia, in July 2006. Despite earning generally positive reviews from critics and racking up excellent sales for "X&Y," Coldplay was completely shut out when nominations for the 48th Annual Grammy Awards were announced last month. Guess that's one more red carpet event the expectant parents can watch from the privacy of their own home.

  13. Engagement News Brittany Murphy ~ 'Just Engaged' Brittany Murphy Time for Brittany Murphy to ditch her little black book. The "Just Married" star got engaged to her boyfriend, Joe Macaluso over the Christmas holidays, People and Us Weekly reported. The twosome first met when Macaluso was working as a production assistant on the set of Murphy's 2004 romantic comedy, "Little Black Book." However, sparks didn't fly until after the film had wrapped and Macaluso stopped by Murphy's house to help her out with some handy work. "He hung our Christmas lights and I got to know him through that," Murphy told Us Weekly last year. Macaluso reportedly popped the question armed with an almost 4-carat Tiffany diamond ring. The couple has not yet announced a wedding date. Brittany Murphy Murphy was previously engaged to talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz, but the couple called off their plans to wed in May 2004. The "8 Mile" star was also romantically linked to Ashton Kutcher, whom she met while filming "Just Married." 14. Former Child Actor Pichler Missing Joe Pichler Former child actor Joe Pichler, who appeared in two of the "Beethoven" comedies, was missing after leaving a note in his car expressing suicidal thoughts, relatives said. Well-wishers and relatives joined police, Kitsap County water search and rescue personnel and tracking dogs in unsuccessful efforts to find the young actor. Pichler's empty car was found last Tuesday, January 10, at an intersection above a narrow arm of water called the Port Madison Narrows. Inside the car was a note in which Pichler, now 18, wrote about wishing to be a "stronger brother" and asking that his belongings go to a younger brother, his family said. Also included were a few poems. Pichler, a native of Bremerton, was in a commercial for a Seattle department store at age 6. He moved to Los Angeles and appeared in "The Fan" in 1996, "Varsity Blues" in 1999 and the third and fourth installments of the "Beethoven" series, featuring the humorous adventures of a St. Bernard, in 2000 and 2001. Joe Pichler in 'Beethoven' In 2002, he had a leading role in the film "Children on Their Birthdays," a coming of age tale based on a short story by Truman Capote. His TV appearances include a part in "Touched by an Angel." He returned to Bremerton to live full-time in 2002 at the urging of his mother and was graduated last year from Bremerton High but never lost his passion for acting, his family said. "I just wanted him to have some normalcy in his life. He's a good boy and took it well, but he wasn't really happy about it." his mother, Kathy Pichler, told the Kitsap Sun. "We always kept him really grounded. He's always been a regular kid with a job a teenager wouldn't normally have." More than 150 people joined in the search Wednesday, January 11 and dozens more helped comb the area on Saturday, January 14. "I don't know how we're going to thank all these people," his mother said.
  15. Wedding News Eminem and Ex-Wife Tie Knot Second Time Eminem and Kim Mathers Eminem remarried his high school sweetheart, Kim Mathers, a month after the superstar rapper announced they were getting back together, his publicist said. "I can confirm that they were married this evening," Dennis Dennehy, a spokesman for Eminem's label, Interscope Records, said Saturday, January 14. News helicopters hovered overhead and paparazzi congregated outside Meadow Brook Hall as the rapper born Marshall Bruce Mathers III and Kim Mathers arrived by limousine and were whisked inside the 110-room mansion built for auto baron John Dodge's widow 80 years ago. "Family and close friends were in attendance, including members of D12, 50 Cent, Obie Trice and members of G-Unit," Dennehy said. He said D12's Proof, whose real name is Deshaun Holton, served as best man. Hailie, Kim Mathers and Eminem Dinner was lobster tails and filet mignon, and New York DJ Lord Sear provided the music for the reception, Dennehy said. The couple is planning a honeymoon later this year, Dennehy said. Their first marriage ended after two-plus years in October 2001 in an ugly legal fight that included a custody battle over their young daughter, Hailie. Eminem, 33, and Kim Mathers, 30, reconciled in late 2004, and he announced in December that the two would get back together. Kim Mathers applied for a marriage license last week, and Detroit television station WXYZ showed an invitation to "join them as they exchange vows and the celebration of their new life together." The pair grew up in suburbs along Eight Mile Road, Detroit's northern border.
  16. Engagement News Beverley Mitchell in '7th Heaven' Beverley Mitchell Beverley Mitchell must really be in "7th Heaven" now. The middle member of the Camden Clan has gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend Michael Cameron, the actress' publicist confirmed to People. Cameron popped the question during a trip to Colorado on New Year's Eve. The couple, both 25, have been together for five years. Mitchell, who rose to fame via the small screen in her role as Lucy on the show, has been focusing more on her big screen career. She last appeared in 2005's popular horror film sequel, "Saw II." "They really are a good fit for each other," an unnamed source close to the couple tells People magazine. "Her friends and family are thrilled." As no doubt is his jeweler. Cameron sealed the deal by giving a 3.5-carat yellow diamond ring by designer Louis Glick. It will be the first marriage for both. The vow swapping will is slated to go down sometime next year. Beverley Mitchell In the meantime, Mitchell will be wrapping up her final season on the WB's longest-running--and, for most of its decade-long lifespan, highest-rated--drama, "7th Heaven." The family-friendly program revolves around the do-gooder Camden Family, led by their preacher father. In a joint statement last November, the WB and Spelling Television announced "7th Heaven" would "conclude its historic 10-year run" come spring. By the time the netlet calls it a wrap, the show will have tied "The Waltons" with 221 episodes, the most ever for a family drama. The series finale airs in May. Next up for the newly betrothed beauty: A role in the thriller, "I Remember," centering on a young girl's witnessing of her parents' brutal murders. She stars alongside fellow 'Heaven' alum Andrew Keegan, as well as Haylie Duff and Jamie-Lynn Sigler. The film hits theaters later this year.
  17. Baby News Melissa Joan Hart Gets Maternal Mark Wilkerson and Melissa Joan Hart For her latest trick, former "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" star Melissa Joan Hart has conjured up a kid. Hart gave birth on Wednesday, January 11 to a baby boy, her first child with her rocker husband of two years, Mark Wilkerson, according to People magazine. Son Mason Walter Wilkerson was born at 4:19 p.m. in Los Angeles, tipping the scales at exactly nine pounds. "He was a little stubborn, but all is well," Hart told the magazine. "Everyone is well, and we are all relieved." Hart, 29, and Wilkerson, 28, first met in May 2002, when she introduced his hard-rock band, Course of Nature, at the Kentucky Derby's Mint Jubilee cancer fundraiser. "It was love at first sight," Hart said of her hubby-to-be. "We made eye contact, and my knees got weak." Melissa Joan Hart Eight months later, during a Christmas getaway, Wilkerson popped the question to the unsuspecting actress. "And I told him to shut up," Hart recounted to E! News at the time. "That's the first thing I said, but I immediately said yes after the shut up. It was, 'Shut up! Yes!'" The couple swapped vows on July 19, 2003, in Florence, Italy. A six-episode ABC reality series, "Tying the Knot: The Wedding of Melissa Joan Hart," chronicled the entire affair, from the planning stages to the "I dos." Hart has kept a relatively low profile since ABC deep-sixed "Sabrina" in 2003, after seven seasons. Aside from making babies, her latest starring role is in the indie film, "Jack Satin," centering on a Vegas lounge singer with a gambling problem.
  18. Soap Actress Pans 'Hospital' in Lawsuit 'General Hospital's' Kari Wuhrer Former "General Hospital" actress Kari Wuhrer sued ABC-TV on Thursday, January 12, contending her character was written out of the soap opera and she was fired for becoming pregnant. Wuhrer, 38, filed the discrimination and wrongful termination suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Wuhrer played Reese Marshall on the show. According to her suit, she notified the writers and producers that she was pregnant in August so they would have time to write her condition into the script. Instead, Wuhrer said she was fired two weeks later. Wuhrer is alleging she suffered at least $3 million in damages to her earnings, career and through the cost of emotional distress. The lawsuit claims that ABC created the "pretext" that Wuhrer was fired because she was not "sexy" and "there was no chemistry with her character's love interest, Sonny Corinthos." 'General Hospital's' Maurice Benard and Kari Wuhrer as Sonny Corinthos and Reese Marshall "The vile underbelly of the Hollywood Machine encourages female actors to be as beautiful and slim as possible," the suit said. In a statement, ABC said, "We have not been served and we do not comment on pending litigation." Details of the suit were first reported by TMZ.com. Wuhrer's suit adds that an actress who "dares" to become pregnant has one choice: "Terminate her pregnancy or be terminated." The lawsuit, filed by the powerhouse law firm, Lavely & Singer, claims other "General Hospital" actresses have also been fired because they became pregnant. The suit, which alleges sex discrimination, pregnancy-based discrimination, wrongful termination, failure to provide reasonable accommodations for pregnancy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.

In November, Pitt and Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N., toured quake-devastated areas in Pakistan. Jolie also met with Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf. Jolie, whose films include "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and "Alexander," is divorced from actors Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller. His other films include "Four Brothers," "The Italian Job," "Three Kings" and "Boogie Nights."
  22. Heartbreak News Swank and Lowe Separate Chad Lowe and Hilary Swank Next time she wins an Oscar, Hilary Swank has one less person to remember to thank. "The Million Dollar Baby" star and her husband, Chad Lowe, released a statement through Swank's manager Monday, January 9, announcing their decision to separate after eight years of marriage. "Hilary and Chad have decided to separate but they are hopeful they'll be able to get through this tough time," the statement read. The twosome wed in 1997, after meeting at a Hollywood party in 1992. It was the first marriage for both. After they tied the knot, Swank went on to win two Best Actress Oscars, for 1999's "Boys Don't Cry" and 2004's "Million Dollar Baby." During her tearful acceptance speech for "Boys Don't Cry," she famously forgot to thank Lowe, who seemed to take the error in stride. On the second time around, she remembered. Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe Swank is the third youngest actress to win two Academy Awards (behind Luise Rainer and Jodie Foster) and is one of only five actresses who can boast a perfect Oscar track record: two nominations, two wins. (Vivien Leigh, Helen Hayes, Sally Field and Rainer are the others.) She next stars opposite Scarlett Johansson and Josh Hartnett in the thriller, "The Black Dahlia," Brian De Palma's adaptation of James Ellroy's novel. In contrast to his wife's blockbuster successes, Lowe has worked on less critically acclaimed fare over the years, such as 2000's made-for-TV movie, "Take Me Home: The John Denver Story," in which he played the titular character. He does have a 1993 Emmy Award for his supporting role in ABC's "Life Goes On" series. Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe One role he seemed to have mastered was that of proud and supportive partner, whether it entailed smiling his way through the aforementioned Oscar acceptance diss, or offering up soundbite after soundbite about his admiration for his wife's talent. After last year's Academy Awards, Lowe told People magazine he had advised Swank "to breathe it in and enjoy the moment. It is like when you get married: You wish it could last all night." Unfortunately, this marriage's moment seems to have run its course.
  23. Schwarzenegger Hurt in Motorcycle Mishap Arnold Schwarzenegger LOS ANGELES, California - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger received 15 stitches in his lip Sunday, January 8, after he and his 12-year-old son were involved in a motorcycle accident near their home, his spokeswoman said. Schwarzenegger was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle with his son Patrick in the sidecar when another driver backed into the street, spokeswoman Margita Thompson said in a statement. "The governor was unable to avoid the vehicle in his path and collided with it at a low speed," she said. Schwarzenegger and his son were treated for cuts and bruises at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica and released, Thompson said. Both were wearing helmets at the time, she said. They were recovering at home Sunday night. The other driver was not injured. No citations were issued in the accident in the city's Brentwood section, said Officer Jason Lee, a police spokesman. The governor was expected to keep his appointments on Monday, January 9. In December 2001, Schwarzenegger broke six ribs and was hospitalized for four days after a motorcycle crash in Los Angeles. The accident occurred when a car stopped in front of him and he was unable to change lanes to avoid the vehicle. Schwarzenegger's ribs were broken when his chest hit the motorcycle windshield. "It was very painful, much more painful than the heart surgery," he said at the time, referring to an operation he had in 1997 to replace a heart valve. "A rib breaking is like the worst."

  25. Baby News Travis' Little Drummer Girl Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker "Meet the Barkers'" latest addition. Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and his actress-model wife, Shanna Moakler, welcomed their second child on Christmas Eve. Daughter Alabama Louella Barker was born at 12:22 p.m. and tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 1 ounce. The "Meet the Barkers" stars already have a two-year-old son together, Landon, while Moakler also has a six-year-old daughter, Atiana, with her ex-fiance, boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya. In announcing the pregnancy to People last May, Barker made an eerily prescient wish. "Hopefully it will be Christmas Eve," Barker said. "I'm hoping for a girl." The camera-ready couple became engaged in 2003 while visiting Disneyland's Haunted Mansion. They tied the knot on October 30, 2005 in Santa Barbara in a gothic ceremony inspired by their favorite film, Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Fellow Blinksters Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge were his groomsmen. The Barker Family -- Atiana, Shanna, Travis and Landon Aside from getting the nursery up and running, Barker has had an eventful 2005. In February, Blink-182 announced plans for an "indefinite hiatus," stopping short of an official disbanding. The trio stayed mum on the reason, leaving their label, Geffen Records, to release a statement saying the rockers wanted to spend time "enjoying the fruits of their labor with loved ones." "For over a decade, Blink-182 has toured, recorded and promoted non-stop all while trying to balance relationships with family and friends," the label said at the time. But the Blink hiatus didn't mean the band members were slowing down. Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler DeLonge has announced he's working on an "anthemic" album with his new band, Angels & Airwaves, which the guitarist humbly describes as "the greatest rock and roll revolution for this generation." Barker and Rancid singer-guitarist Tim Armstrong released teamed for side project called the Transplants, which released an album in October. And Barker and Hoppus formed the band Plus-44. Barker and Moakler have also been working on a second season of their MTV reality show, "Meet the Barkers," which debuted last spring. The new episodes kick off January 3. "I think last season was awesome, but this one is even crazier," Barker tells MTV. "You have no idea."
