  1. Okay, I just read on the update page that "It looks like Gina Marie will be putting up Andy as the replacement." I don't get the live feeds so I'm wondering when that changed. Last night when they all went to bed, Spencer had volunteered to go up as the replacement.
  2. I think Andy has covered his tracks pretty well throughout the season so far. He had to show his hand somewhat when Helen was evicted but other than that, he's been pretty slick at keeping the target off his back. He was smart enough to jump ship when Amanda finally went off the deep end & has managed (as far as I can tell as of last night) to keep her believing he's got her back. Whoever initiated the sacred rule of "voting with the house" did him a huge favor. The house seems to be a CRAFTY "floater's paradise" this season.
  3. Edieann, I don't like a bully either and never condoned Amanda's actions. I also see red when someone is bullied irl but i think some of this stuff is just staged so I don't get too upset about it. Regarding Elissa, I've already stated my aversion to her. in my opinion, she is no shrinking violet and enjoys baiting the aggressor & crying foul. I dislike that behavior as much as bullying. The "saint" reference was not aimed at you & I hope you have a good day too.
  4. If Judd somehow convinces him to use the veto on Amanda, he is smarter than I thought...& McCrae cares more for Amanda than I thought. Lol
  5. Exactly. I think its human nature to want "the good guy" to win. It took me a few frustrating seasons to realize that Heros and heroines are few & far between when it comes to BB. I didn't really enjoy the show until I QUIT looking for "the good guy" to root for every season. If we all lived by The Golden Rule, the world would be a better place...but it ain't gonna happen on BB...and I'm pretty confident that God wont hold it against me if I dont consider Elissa a saint and I'm CONVINCED that He doesn't want me to HATE anyone...even Amanda.
  6. You never know. Many young people just want to be famous and are willing to do whatever it takes to be in the spotlight...including dating creepy guys. I'm so old, I just don't get "kids these days!"
  7. Just curious, has there ever been a diamond veto as this person described in past seasons?
  8. Amanda obviously has disorders… I'm pretty sure these disoders end with "osis" and/or "istic." Honestly, it's always been my opinion that the majority of the houseguests have psychological issues/personality disorders. That's probably why I watch BB. The human psyche can be fascinating and yet appalling at the same time. Amanda's inability to see herself as a bully is sad and mind boggling. Even now she is convinced that Judd is the one who put her on the block twice. She simply cannot fathom that America would dislike her enough to put her on the block. There's just no convincing the girl. She's not my cup of tea but she has ran the house practically from day one...until recently. Bullying worked for ED but it obviously won't take her to the final two. The girl is wicked smart but If she was as diabolically cunning as she thinks she is, she wouldn't find herself in her current predicament. She's good for ratings so maybe BB will help her out. Dick won and he was repulsive... Rachel won & she was a flippin train wreck. Anything could happen and I guess that's why I keep watching.
  9. Good point! I'm not a fan of Amanda OR Elissa but when I commented that Elissa isnt completely innocent & on a personal level, she actually annoys me more than Amanda, another poster was appalled by my obvious lack of good sense & didnt mind pointing it out...more than once. Lol. I was told to "hate who I want" but I got the distinct impression that this person was truly bothered by my opinion. THEN another poster wrote an essay explaining (to the first poster) why anyone who shares my opinion is basically a scourge on society. Really??? First & foremost, I don't HATE any BB hg - that's just ridiculous to me. I enjoy a snarky comment as much as the next guy & I enjoy this website but wow! Some people get pretty intense if you don't share their opinion! Peace Peace
  10. Yes, that's the (half) million dollar question.
  11. It looked like she just jumped off in that clip. She didnt look like she was off-balance at all. I couldn't make out what was next to her feet. ???
  12. I was wondering the same thing! Also, I was watching BBAD last night and got distracted for a minute when Spencer and Andy were lying on the couches in the LR. Something was said about some kind of meat...& maybe Candice ate it???? …Elissa walked by and reprimanded them. When she left the room, Andy looked at Spencer and said, "I HATE her." Spencer seemed to nod in agreement. Anybody know what they were talking about?
  13. The "truth" according to Monk. I enjoyed the read. Lol
  14. I don't despise or hate either of them. . .but thanks for your permission to do so in case I fall off the deep end.
  15. It's easy for me to be annoyed by her because i dont find much to admire about her. i dont care for the way she interacts with others necessarily. She comes off as dumb, superficial, shallow, uninteresting and phony...imo. She makes really weird faces when talking - its as if she sits in front of the mirror and practices facial expressions because there's nothing genuine about her. And the voice! The whiny voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard! Her voice just absolutely grates on my nerves. And she speaks like a valley girl in jr. high. Almost everything about her annoys me. She is passive aggressive & plays innocent after goading Amanda. But that's just my opinion. So again, it's easy for me to be annoyed by her...just as its easy for you to hate Amanda. You're entitled, just as I am.
  16. Lol. They are both making idiots of themselves. I don't hate either one of them but honestly, if I was in that house with Elissa, I would have to self evict. Ha ha! She actually annoys me more than her freak sister. After watching a few seasons of BB, I finally came to the conclusion that it was highly unlikely that I would ever be able to actually like any hg enough to want them to win. Last year though, I was pleasantly surprised and actually rooted for Ian! This year, I'm back to a state of apathy concerning the winner...as long as it isnt Aaryn (check) or the phony, annoying, superficial, self-righteous fembot who can't imagine why anyone would dislike her. I don't know that I really would want Amanda to win either but I wouldn't mind it for the sole purpose of (yet again) "confusing" her highness. Lol
  17. I agree. Elissa Is as much responsible for the situation as Amanda is. They are both making idiots of themselves but the "innocent victim" act is more annoying to me than Amanda's antics.
  18. She makes a silly twit look like a genius! Wow, the girl has ZERO ability to read people who aren't "like her." Hey Brit! Don't poke the angry caged animal with a stick!!! It's as if she said exactly the WRONG thing at the worst possible time all week when dealing with Willie. SHE screwed her team - period. I'm sure she has a wonderful life in the real world - she should have stayed there imo.
  19. I don't know how the week could have gone worse for willie! Brit gave him ONE - and ONLY one - good piece of advice: humble yourself a little bit. I know a lot of people compare him to evil dick but I don't think he's anywhere close to being the nasty bully that dick was/is. He imitated Wil and got accused of being a homophobe by Frank (behind his back). I would have been pissed too...doubly so if I had been working behind the scenes to keep him (frank) from being evicted. He obviously should have maintained his composure when confronting frank about it but still, I felt he was justified in calling him out on it publicly. Hope he tones it down a smidge, fights hard & somehow manages to stay longer than another week!
  20. I don't get BB after dark but i always read the updates on this site. I kept wondering about how the "mentors will be merged into the game" idea/rumor got started and was glad that the show tonight finally shed some light on the subject. I was shocked to find out it's just pure speculation on brit's part!!! Wow. And as if that wasn't bad enough, she shares it with willie!!! She instigated a large part of the drama this week & I don't think she even realizes it. I hate to say it but if one of her players wins, they will win it in spite of her "mentoring." Maybe someone in the DR will drop a few hints to her and she'll catch on.
  21. Oh my, another one! Aggressive style? I simply stated my opinion concerning a houseguest and was accused of being "passive aggressive" for bothering to point out her nicer attributes as well as critique her (non)gameplay. I don't care for bullies, especially when they pretend to have class. Have a lovely evening.
  22. At the risk of being labeled "passive-aggressive" again (laughing), Jordan is such a genuine and endearing type of person that she just got to be herself for the most part. You're right, she is socially adept! I guess the way I was looking at it was she didn't do anything because she didn't HAVE to do anything. She's a sweetheart and people naturally take to her and in addition to that, she was ALWAYS protected by Jeff & any alliances they made. She's kind and well-mannered. . .really, ya just can't say enough about her. . .she's a sweetheart! That's why she was able to float & be protected. Strategy? I didn't think so. Probably more than anything, I just thought she made for a very boring HG. *shrugs* I wasn't impressed with Porshe until she threw her hands up with Rachel during one of her wacked-out episodes. She earned my respect for calmly walking away from that alliance (remember, she was with the vets at first). She still managed to stay on their good side for a while & when she tried to get Adam to keep Dani, I thought, "GOOD, you're finally DOING something!" Regardless of whether you like Dani or not, Porshe DID make a move in addition to winning some comps. Jordan never HAD to. . .and I guess that's why it bothered me that she campaigned against Porshe on the premise that she did NOTHING. That's just the way I saw it and I didn't mean to offend anyone with my remarks or imply (intentionally or otherwise) that I thought she was a bad person. lol I respect your take on it too and don't claim that I'm RIGHT about anything. (Geez, FatCat's in my head! help!!!) I like BB but I haven't watched EVERY season. I don't usually have a favorite but I admire the players who 1) manage to engage & be civil to other HG's 2) enjoy themselves 3) are discerning enough to know when to cut ties and go a different direction and 4) aren't afraid to make their move once they figure it out. They walk a fine line in that house and it's fun to watch them try to figure out what to do to win the big bucks!
  23. We definitely disagree on some things and you're right, it IS just a game. In the grand scheme of things, it means nothing, but your attitude toward other posters DOES matter. I'm surprised you get away with some of your remarks here because it's apparent you have difficulty being civil or diplomatic towards those who don't share your opinions. And speaking of class, maybe you shouldn't discuss subject matter that you're ignorant of by all accounts. People come here to enjoy the conversation about a reality show. Who gave YOU permission to be the judge, jury, psycho-analyst & executioner? How's THAT for passive-aggressive. *laughing* just sayin
