  1. I think he's using his strengths to his best advantage and I won't be disappointed if he wins. He's likable, smart, strategic and seems to be a "normal" (IMO) guy. I know he's playing the game when he shows compassion & encourages others when they're down but I don't think it's ALL game. He just strikes me as an average, "decent" guy. Unattractive or not, as a house guest, I would have gravitated toward him from the get-go & convinced him that as the weeks progress, he can align with one side of the house, I'll align with the other & we keep each other safe by trading information and dismissing others' reasons for targeting either of us. The house is sorely lacking in brainpower, it wouldn't have been too difficult to pull that off...well, in my perfect world anyway. Me and Derrick in the final two and I take the win because I'm prettier than him! hahaha! (please, don't anyone take this post too seriously – I kid I kid!)
  2. Good post, Sue Z! Honestly, I disliked Frankie from the beginning. I knew he would do well in the game because of his phony personality but figured it would all blow up in his face eventually. In my opinion, each season BB was filling the house with people whose number one objective is to be "famous," and winning the money was just a bonus...a nice bonus but second to their narcissistic goal of "celebrity." This season, FORTUNATELY, it seems they limited the number of that type of personality this year.
  3. Man alive!! These hgs all have diarrhea of the mouth (something my sisters sixth-grade teacher said about her that I thought was gross but really funny)!! As stated on the update page, I'm anxious to hear the DR comments to try to figure out who is screwing whom. But then again, it might not bring any clarity because it seems to change from hour to hour and I don't always trust BB to give an accurate account. I'm not sure how Donnie could pull it off, but I hope he stays and ultimately wins (but a win by Derrick or Nicole wouldn't bother me either). Every year I hope for a (at least SEMI-) normal, "decent" person to win so I'm accustomed to being disappointed at the finale. Haha
  4. Thanks, Straycat. I needed to get that off my chest. It would be really boring if we all had the same opinion....and I'm always interested in reading what other people have to say. I think most people are respectful even if they don't agree with someone. AND there are some really funny people too! I like it here & probably just need to ignore one or two people. Maybe three lmao
  5. I think the reaction to the cast by those of us who participate in this forum would be far more interesting! For instance, what exactly is the medical term/major malfunction for/of someone who is obsessed with lecturing others in a condescending & insulting "tone" if they don't agree with said persons' analysis of how "evil" or "good" a hg is? Nothing fascinates & yet repulses me more than a person who simply cannot pass up the opportunity to "cast the first, and subsequent, stones" at others who don't share their opinions. Jesus was perfect and didnt cast a stone at the adulteress. He saved her from certain death at the hands of those who were convinced they were holier than she until He pointed out their own flaw, hypocrisy. Not many people respond favorably to someone who seemingly relishes the idea of condemning others for their lack of good moral fiber while ignoring his or her own faults. It's annoying when a contentious person seems determined to blah blah blah with the holier than thou comments in every thread. Just as someone else mentioned, it's arrogant to assume you would be a paragon of virtue if you were locked up in that house. i think that place brings out the worst in people and CBS capitalizes on it. I'm not suggesting we should condone racism, bigotry or any other hateful act. I'm just suggesting that some people appear to be mentally, emotionally or morally imbalanced when they post their self-righteous bs. I just don't buy what they're selling, especially when they bait others, get attacked & then have the nerve to label others as trolls.
  6. THAT, my friends, is entertainment. Toooo funny.
  7. Ohhh, yeah! I forgot about that one. Also a favorite of mine!
  8. Even though I'm not a Gina Marie fan, my favorite moment was when she put Aaryn in her place in the HOH room. lmao. I think it was the week Jessie lost it and was stirring the pot???? Aaryn was being herself (rude & hateful) and said something to GM like, "You're still talking? Gawd." When GM came back at her, she realized she was steppin' in it big time and tried to leave the room in a big huff. . .but GM wasn't havin' any of THAT either. Aaryn was desperately trying to find a way to save face and I enjoyed her discomfort immensely. lol Is that bad of me? Maybe if Aaryn had had someone like GM in her life when she was growing up, she would have learned to not let her mouth write a check her a$$ can't cash. Maybe she's an only child?? An older sister can teach a girl a lot of valuable lessons growing up. . .at least that's what I've heard.
  9. It would make me so happy if GM voted out Spencer instead of McCrae! Andy would have a heart attack.lmao
  10. Wow, I guess he was! Just kidding. My first impression of Howard? The poor guy is toast:(. If the other hg's had access to lions, they would have donned their bedsheet togas & been quite entertained at the spectacle. He seems like a great guy… not a good BB player though. Nice post, Moxie
  11. You make some good points but, "Parents should not feel guilty or question their parenting skills because they choose to be apart from their children for a three month period?" Really???? Even if they choose to leave their child for three months just so they can be on BB? Even military moms i know would disagree with that. If I polled every mom I know, I'm reasonably sure not one of them would agree with that statement. I guess we're from two different worlds - I prefer mine:). Mayberry's a nice place to raise your kids. Lol
  12. Has Andy started believing his own lies at this point or did he think he was an actor performing a screen test when saying his goodbye to Judd? lmao
  13. I don't know Elissa personally so I DID not & cannot say she is an unfit mother. I'm just saying that, IMO, she made a selfish decision. Im sure her son is well cared for in her absence BUT as a mother, I would feel guilty for leaving my 8 yr old for 3 months in an effort to be "famous" (but with no real talent to warrant celebrity status) and to MAYBE win $500k when they are already financially stable. I just don't understand (or admire) the whole, "look at me, look at me, aren't I fabulous" mentality and I (either correctly or incorrectly) get the impression (for many reasons that i wont list) that being "famous" is what she is about. If I'm wrong, bad on me I guess.
  14. ^^^^^ohhh, the optimism/delusion of a young, headstrong, domineering woman.
  15. All good points. His family will definitely have plenty of ammunition if they choose to use it. And I'm sure they will if he wins the big money. As far as what's built in, I know too many henpecked men to confidently predict he will dump her simply because she's a pushy bitch (lol, & she is). Also, he has demonstrated more than a few times that he doesn't like to hurt others' feelings unless he feels they have wronged him. I think it will be difficult for him to hurt her when she is obviously in love (?) with him. Also, he has mentioned that he isn't good enough for his ex. I doubt he feels the same about Amanda. He may feel that Amanda values him "for exactly who he is" & for a guy who isnt all that ambitious, he may have hit the jackpot. Of course this is all speculation and who knows for sure what will happen? We don't know them and it doesn't affect our lives whether they make it or not but I DO enjoy trying to figure these people out. That's what keeps me watching BB.
  16. 1. AF: Helen...for exactly the same reason GreatSaltLuke gave. For all her faults, I see her as a decent human being. 2. Judd will storm out like a big baby.??? 3. If Judd is evicted, i WANT McCrae to win HOH & Andy to win veto & send GM home. (Ultimately, I would like to see Andy & McCrae in f2. I would be fine with either winning really. Andy, because I've said all along he's played a focused game or McCrae, because I dislike him less than everyone else still in the game)
  17. I would like to see him win for the same reason but many think he won't because of his association with Amanda. I think he cares for her but maybe not to the degree that she cares for him. There's rarely any doubt as to what she's thinking, but he holds his cards a little closer to his chest so to speak.
