  9. Kelly Osbourne has checked herself back into a drug treatment centre, only a year after completing a successful stint in rehab. The 20-year-old daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, checked into Pasadena, California's Las Encinas hospital on Thursday, according to American magazine Us Weekly. A friend tells the publication, "She's going to be in for a couple of weeks. She's slipped into some of her old problems and is not doing so well. Everyone is supporting her." Another source adds, "Friends are concerned, but know that she's strong and that she's pulled through before and will this time as well." In April of 2004 Osbourne spent time at Promises, a treatment centre in Malibu, California, for her well documented addiction to prescription painkillers. Her brother Jack and father Ozzy have both battled drug addiction. A representative says, "Kelly is in a facility dealing with some personal issues. She'll be back in a few weeks."
  10. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are both set to appear in separate TV interviews tomorrow, to answer questions about their reported affair. Girl, Interrupted beauty Jolie has been accused several times of playing a prominent a part in Pitt's split from wife Jennifer Aniston - reports which were further fuelled when Pitt and Jolie were photographed together in Africa. And now the stars, who became friendly on the set of their upcoming movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, will face individual grillings - Pitt on Primetime Live and Jolie on the Today show. While both stars have denied being romantically involved, Jolie does declare in her interview that she no longer cares what the public thinks of her love life. She says, "It takes a lot to hurt me. I've just grown up too much to be hurt by what people's opinion of my love life is. That doesn't hurt me. Attack my child... that hurts... I'm more annoyed, when, because of all of it, I try to take my son on a carousel... and we've got too many people flashing pictures for him to have a good time. That bothers me."
  11. I have been searching the net for all BB6 info I can find. One thing strikes me as odd. Numerous sites are reporting rumors of an All Stars, 10 new guests, 10 returning. We havent discussed this possibility at Mortys..or have we and I missed it? Aldav's site (hello Aldav..he frequents Mortys often:) has a great clip from the Fishbowl with Lori. Marvin is in LA? Will he be one of the All Stars? Diane has been mentioned along with Jase. One rumor is 10 new guests downstairs, the All Stars up stairs. All Stars are Marvin, Diane, Jase, Dr.Will, and Marcellas with the others unknown. Have you guys heard anything?
  12. My question is what do you consider "older"? My daughters consider anyone over 35 as "older." I consider anyone over 55 as "older" which only shows age is relevant to the individual. Jack was boring and Kent was obnoxious. I don't remember who the oldest houseguest has been. Do you? If my memory is correct there have only been a "token" houseguest over 40 and never a team that could form an alliance. Same with the lone gay houseguest. Both Bunky and Will were lone wolves. I think it would be interesting to see more than a token, either gay or mature houseguest, to allow an alliance and a fair shake at winning. I have faith in the audience that they would forgive the lack of bikini eye candy. But..Jane Fonda looks pretty great in a bikini and so does Suzanne Somers ( both much older)proving old age isn't all bikini challenged!
  13. Jokers has posted some screen shots of a few BB6 hopefuls HERE . I wonder if any of them make it!

  15. 60-year-old Rod Stewart to be a father for the seventh time UPI News Service British rocker and crooner Rod Stewart and his fiancee Penny Lancaster are reportedly expecting Stewart's seventh and her first child. The Mirror said the couple planned to make an official announcement within weeks, but friends and family confirmed Lancaster, 34, is pregnant. "Rod might be getting on a bit but he's not the only old man to have a child and Penny has never made a secret of the fact she would like kids," a friend of the couple said. Stewart, 60, rarely sees his eldest daughter, Sarah Thubron, who is 41, but is in touch with his other five children. Lancaster fuelled pregnancy rumors by putting the subject of children off limits for all interviews and at a recent photo-shoot with a glossy magazine, stylists were asked to prepare more "versatile cuts." Paul McCartney was 61 when his daughter Beatrice was born last year.

I guess they are having problems with their server or whatever, so this isn't a permanente thing.

  18. Ashley Judd's Bus Gutted in Ark. Fire LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A fire gutted the luxury bus Ashley Judd was using during the shooting of an independent film in Arkansas, officials said Wednesday. Judd and hundreds of extras were shooting a nightclub scene Monday for the movie "Come Early Morning" at the Hollywood Country Club when the blaze broke out, said Joe Glass, of the state Department of Economic Development's film office. The bus was parked outside the club. No one was injured, but damage to the rental bus was estimated at $500,000. A member of the film's production company told sheriff's deputies he left a candle burning inside the bus. The candle touched off the fire, Fire Chief Randy Blakey said. Judd stars in the film about a small town woman who has never committed to a serious relationship. Shooting began in April and is scheduled to wrap Saturday. The film is to debut in January at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.
  19. 1.Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays I have a "Do Not Call Me" rule unless you are physically injured and need immediate attention. If this is the case, I am second to be notified..after you have called 911, and please wait for a commercial break. 2. Do not expect to be fed elaborate meals on these days. If P&J is good enough for TV Stars, its good enough for us. 3. There are no bed partners allowed as the laptop will be on the bedtray at all times with livefeeds during the night. There is only so much room, ya know! 4. I talk in terms of HOH, DR, P&J and other such abbreviations and expect all who know me to comphrehend.
  20. Sports Steroid Law Planned Next Week [ap]May19,2005 Despite what he called an "abrupt about-face" by Major League Baseball, the head of a congressional panel opened a hearing on steroids in the NBA on Thursday by saying he'll propose a law next week to create a uniform testing standard for the four major U.S. professional sports leagues. House Government Reform Committee chairman Tom Davis, R-Va., promised that the legislation he's drafting with ranking Democrat Henry Waxman of California and Sen. John McCain, "will have more teeth than other bills introduced." Davis didn't go into detail, but Waxman said their legislation would follow the Olympic model and would call for a two-year ban for a first offense and a lifetime ban for a second offense. Those are the same penalties in the Drug Free Sports Act introduced last month by Rep. Cliff Stearns, chairman of a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee conducting a separate inquiry into steroids. Stearns' panel is holding hearings to discuss his proposed legislation, with NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue and NFL Players Association executive director Gene Upshaw appearing Thursday. Referring to the proposed bill, Tagliabue said he "would respectfully urge that it not be enacted into law in its present form." "The drug testing program in the NFL is not a 'problem' that needs federal legislation in order to be 'fixed,'" Tagliabue added in his written testimony. About 100 yards away, in another wood-paneled hearing room, Davis' committee was hearing Thursday from NBA commissioner David Stern, NBA union leader Billy Hunter, Washington Wizards guard Juan Dixon and Houston Rockets trainer Keith Jones. The lawmakers held hearings on baseball in March and football in April. "Certainly, the NBA is not suffering under the same cloud of steroid use suspicion that has been hovering over other professional sports," Davis said. But, he continued, "How do we know for sure there's no steroid problem in the NBA if its testing policies are so weak? If there's little or no upside to using steroids in basketball, why doesn't the NBA have the strongest policy in all of sports?" Waxman called the NBA's policy "simply inadequate. Of the professional sports policies this committee has reviewed, the NBA policy appears to be the weakest." Stern repeated what he told Stearns' subcommittee on Wednesday: He has told Hunter that he wants to add more in-season tests, double the penalty for a first offense to 10 games and kick players out of the league for a third positive test. "The union supports some changes," Hunter said Thursday. Davis said his bill would cover the NBA, Major League Baseball, the NFL and the NHL. "Our investigation already has spawned results, evidenced most profoundly by Major League Baseball's abrupt about-face on the need for more stringent testing," Davis said. When baseball commissioner Bud Selig testified before Davis' panel in March, he defended his sport's steroids policy against withering criticism, calling it "as good as any in professional sports." He also said he had agreed to shorter penalties "on the theory that behavior modification should be the most important goal." When he returned to Capitol Hill on Wednesday to testify before Stearns' subcommittee along with the commissioners and union chiefs from the NBA, NHL and Major League Soccer, Selig articulated other goals: wiping out steroids in baseball and restoring the game's reputation. "I'm proud of this sport, and I've been saddened by what I've read, what I've heard. Do I think a lot of it has been unfair? I do. But it's up to us to take the next step and that is to remove any doubt. There should be no equivocation about what this sport wants, what it did about it and how it cleaned it up," Selig said. On Wednesday, several lawmakers lauding the commissioner for his recent attempts to strengthen baseball's drug program. He testified about the details of his proposals. "We need to do this as soon as possible," Selig said. "We just need to keep the intensity and get it done. So we can quit talking about it." Baseball banned steroids in September 2002 and instituted mandatory 10-day suspensions this season. In a letter to union head Donald Fehr last month, Selig suggested that starting in 2006, major league players be given 50-game suspensions for a first positive test for steroids, 100-game penalties for a second positive test and lifetime bans for a third. There are 162 games in a season. Selig also wants to ban amphetamines. "Mr. Selig, you've come a long way," said Rep. Fred Upton.
  21. DeGeneres' Torment Over Heche Split (ap) Comedienne Ellen DeGeneres wept for days after her lesbian lover Anne Heche ditched her for a man. The popular talk show host couldn't bare her life in the aftermath of Heche's sudden exit, insisting her eyes would well up as soon as she awoke in the morning. However, DeGeneres has finally overcome her heartbreak over Heche, who is now married to Coley Laffoon. She tells website Pagesix.Com, "Anne broke my heart into a million pieces. When Anne left, I'd wake up in the morning, and my eyes would just immediately fill up with tears, and I would start convulsively crying. I'd watch the sun come up and then go down and I'd literally be in the same place on the floor. I've never spoken to her since she left," she says, though recently, while driving, she thought she saw Heche. "There would have been a point where that would have made me so nervous. But I realised I felt nothing, and feeling nothing about her was great."

She ended up carrying the baby for me to my gate. Uhmm my brush with fame:-)I was speechless and only after she had left did I utter the first words other than.."Its ok..really its ok.. I mean it is ok.. really..really ..ok..ok?"
