Ian won because of a scientific FACT......the further away you are from MIST, the less it affects you. Where I come from, unless you come in FIRST, you're a LOSER. Part of the "game" is playing FOR jury votes.....that should be in your strategy from day one, expecially if you're such an "amazing player". Dan spent the game, as HE said, knowing he couldn't beat the physical HGs OR the HGs good at puzzles, OR the HGs who had great social game, so he decided to try to do it by taking on the role of a scumbag (his words!), using his reputation as "honorable" to get him the win. Did it ever occur to anyone that these HGs just didn't think his GAMEPLAY warranted the win in the end. Certainly some of them are going to want to be on the side of Janelle, NOW, after HER commenting "that Dan should have won" but that was AFTER they voted. Dan may have played what some think was the BEST GAME EVER but obviously it wasn't good enough to convince the JURY to vote for him (?) why not??? I thought he could convince ANYONE of ANYTHING (lol). Everyone applauded his magical powers during the game, if they were so magical, he would have convinced the jury to vote for him and he would have WON the game. CONGRATS IAN!!!!!! Don't let the train riders get you down, you BEAT Dan and they are the "bitter" ones.

Dan grew up in a house with 2 females and no father figure.......he obviously learned how to manipulate women but not much about being a real man with honesty and integrity..........BB was and always will be a show that shows us the true character of the HGs, no matter how some viewers try to change that by excusing or trying to convince others that anyone has a different personality outside the BB house, in the real world. What you see is who they are, which was the intent.

Sad but true............pathetic as a person & a coach on live TV,,,,,,,,,no amount of money will repair that in the real world,

Dan did not "adapt".....he's on record & video tape telling his family he will do ANYTHING to win this time......and he has..... nothing wrong with it but let's not pretend it's some magica. mystical feat Also. puleeze........no one goes into this game and pretends to be someone they are not in the real world unless they are a hired actor. Dan has exposed himself for who he IS.......to think he can be someone in BB that he is not in the real world really is magical, mystical thinking.

Other than having grown up in the "real" sports world, (2 brothers at the college level coaches) I guess I'll never know as much as you There are always players who talk smack on & off the field.......and certainly coaches who don't hav.e natural motivational skills must have to result to banners of smack talk in their locker rooms........I've heard of such things but also know, since I've never experienced it, that it's possible to win without going into the gutter to do it. Certainly bad coaching can produce winners.....my point is so can good coaching. It's all in the eye of the beholder and IF winning is your ONLY goal, IMO, you should NOT be a coach at ANY level.. Certainly, harder to win with skill than mind games but I get why some ppl believe winning at any cost is OK.......just not my belief.

Ahhhh, yes, Dan, the "great coach" showing the world that he is capable of using & abusing one of his own player's for money.....out of his own mouth...........priceless.

Joystick, what you have described is how SOME sports players who don't believe they can win a game with SKILL use "trash talk" to get into other players heads.......it's not condoned or considered as you explained "mental game", it's a bottom of the barrel, last resort play and players who use it are shunned in the real sports world. On the other hand, of course, it's admired on BB.

ITA.........but IMO, Ian's quacks aren't as annoying as Ian & Dan doing the "renegade" thing. As far as his not cooking, cleaning and calling him a wee little boy (nothing like the BIG GROWN UP DAN)...............

LOL.....Morty;s usd to be about sharing opinions and conversation and a place I loved to go to express opinions and interact about our different perceptions of HGs but this year, if you weren't on the Dan train. you were either shunned or made to feel inferior. Any combo giving Ian a win is music to my ears......not because I "hate Dan" just don't believe with the opportunities he was given this time coming into the game, he needed to resort to mind f***ing and sociaopathic behavior to win. The fact that he did is like ho,hum to me.....not strategy or misting, just down in the gutter for no reason.

Dani isn't a "victim" but she pretends to be and has followed her "coach" Dan's directions like a good player in any other game would.... Dan pretends to be a loyal, honorable guy.....why is SHE portrayed as bad and Dan portrayed as good?

IF Shane would have manned up and told dani, choose Dan or me, he would be there and Dan would be out.....can't blame Dan for this one. IMO, dani wanted Shane out, knew what Dan was doing and then tried to back track for the cameras....oh, gosh, I had no idea....really? She already told us in the DR I will have to choose between my head (Dan) and my heart(Shane)....she chose and pretended she didn't.

You're right Marty they should have......and I do not have a fav in this game, except for loving Ian, win or lose. IDk whether Dan will win but if he does win, it wouldn't change my opinion about who he's become as a person to do it.....our perceptions of him and his actions in this game are so different, which is really what BB should be about, right?
