  1. In my opinion, the problem wasn't saving him, the problem would be in picking a replacement. When you are on the bottom, it is kinda hard to say "I trust y'all" but you replace the pawn. That is a dead give away that you do not trust the group that you are trying to work your back into.
  2. The difference is that Dan was a veteran and he was playing with a bunch of dummies, some who was even dumber than the group that is there now. He also had some magic dust in his pocket and maybe a little help from production. The biggest part though was being a veteran and understanding how the game is played. What really helps the veteran is not only the experience of playing a season, but, having the opportunity to go back and review that season on tape, getting to see the visual and verbal cues that were missed the first time really puts you head and shoulders above the new competition.
  3. Often times, we see and hear what we want to, rather than actually facing what really happened.
  4. If there were a few smart people in the house, Mark, Elana, Matt and Raven would have a tight side group and they could pull in 2 or 3 extra to control the vote and run the house. But, I think Mark would be the only one willing to go that route, the lips of the others are glued to Paul's ass. Matt and Raven should know that couples become targets when their numbers are no longer needed. It is just a matter of time before they are Paul's targets.
  5. Yeah, a lot of if's. From her perspective, Josh had been goading them and gloating since the start of the game. They had already had a big blow up, I can understand her thinking that all Josh was looking to do was gloat some more.
  6. When talking to Julie, she clearly said that if she was not Josh's target, then her eviction was on her.
  7. That may be, but most people who win BB have 1 or 2 people in the house that they trust. But whether it is true or not, who was she going to put up if she pulled Ramses down? And, if she pulled him down, that would have sent the signal that she did not trust any of them, which is worst than putting your trust in other people.
  8. If I remember correctly, at the time of the veto meeting, she was still under the impression that Ranses was safe. She thought about taking Ramses down, just in case, but, at the time she was trying to work her way back into everyone's "good graces". If she took Ramses down, she would have to put up someone and that was going to cause bigger problems for her. She didn't find out that they were all lying until the day before eviction. At least that is how I remember it.
  9. She's just the face, Paul is the HOH. The biggest difference, if Raven would have won, I assume Matt would have gotten to sleep in the HOH a few nights. But as I said, I assume, Paul might have told him no.
  10. First off, I don't like vets coming back. In this case, I don't think you would have had so many sheep if CBS would have bought other vets to be a counter voice to Paul. If Paul wasn't there, I think it would be a much different game with more people actually trying to play and strategize. But, since Paul is the only vet, he has a strong personality, plus, he was made untouchable during the early and most formative part of the game, he was able to establish himself as the boss.
  11. I guess she will have her chance to get Jess' sloppy seconds now.
  12. Yes, apparently they are all fine with Paul being that only person.
  13. Normally, by this point in the season, you have a couple of serious side alliances of 2-4 people that are just waiting for an opportunity to make a move. This season, it seems every one of the players is looking for a way to please Paul. I am not seeing where any of them are thinking about ways that they might get Paul out and they are not thinking about what happens if they are sitting beside Paul at the end.
  14. In the end, Josh ended up with a wasted HOH, because Jess eviction helps Paul's game a lot more than it helps his. It was just another week as if Paul was the HOH because he got absolutely everything he wanted. None of these people know how to play. It seems as if CBS intentionally went out and found 10 - 12 people who did not understand anything about BB and then they put Paul in for the win.
  15. I can't believe this guy. Paul says go tell her to spell evicted and he jumps up and runs to do it. I hope Paul doesn't tell him to bark or roll over.
  16. In this case, just bringing back one vet, then giving him safety for three weeks gave him a huge advantage. Not only did he have a full season of experience and the safety, he got to ingratiate himself with the newbies by giving half the players safety for the first eviction. CBS pretty much set Paul up to make it through at least half the season.
  17. That's rich when someone throws a brick and then accuses you of being off topic because you decided to talk about the brick and the broken window.
  18. I would have preferred if production would have stepped in and told Mark it was ok to whip his punk ass.
  19. I think Cody's game ended up doomed in the first week. By not telling his alliance what he was doing, it made him look like he was only playing for himself. So, his alliance turned on him. Now, I think he is having a hard time coming around and playing with the others because he doesn't understand why all of them turned on him so easily. However, he really needs to try and put that aside and start working on planting some seeds of distrust about the others. I don't think he has to be Mr Chatty, but, he needs to make his chats count for something.
  20. Well, thank you for your time and attention. Sorry we don't see things the same way.
  21. From the way things look, there isn't anything that she really can't eat if she wants to.
  22. Definitions for analogy: 1. a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification. 2. a correspondence or partial similarity. 3.a thing that is comparable to something else in significant respects. In other words, Cody's service is compared or equated to that of criminals and is not deserving of respect.
