BB17 Saturday, August 15 2015 Big Brother 17 Live Feed Updates

[Dade]

3:53pm BBT Austin and Liz agree on turkey burgers for dinner later. John is sleeping in HNR. They find some mystery meat, Austin says its sushi quality tuna. Liz is makes a marinade for the meat. Julia wipes down the counters. They hear drilling in the BY.

 

 4:00pm BBT Austin keeps playing with the 4 small braids Liz put in his hair. Julia hasn't hosted a comp, nor played in one. Julia take the garbage out while Liz and Austin have some jerky.

4:07pm BBT Vanessa has been sitting on the couch in the WA, she tells Julia she cant lay in teh HN chairs any longer. Julia says she is going to take a nap. In HOH: Liz and Austin lay down too. Back in the WA: Vanessa stares off into space.

 

4:20pm BBT shhhhhh HG are all sleeping.

4:30pm BBT Vanessa is the only one out of bed, she warms something up on the stove. In HOH: Austin scoots over to snuggle with Liz. She is inches from falling out of bed. He is in the middle of the bed.

 

4:34pm BBT Vanessa gets called to DR, she heads in. We hear them say...here ya go. She comes right back out and goes back to cooking. She takes meds DR must have given her.

4:41pm BBT Meg is called to DR twice. Vanessa is eating. Liz bumped Austin over a little bit.

4:45pm BBT Meg is out DR, she got a med she has to take once a month. James says he can see a difference in her pace already. He asks Becky if she is ready for this comp? She says yup. Praying and hoping. Steve gets called to DR.

4:50pm BBT Meg's med was in the form of a shot she gives herself in the thigh. James says he feels bad for her now, he will take care of all this stuff for her.

4:55pm BBT Meg says she misses her family. Becky says she misses being connected to the world. Not being able to check the weather etc. Steve and James come into OBR. Steve says if its a physical comp he will win it. James says yeah cuz he aint playing.

5:02 PM BBT Steve, Becky, Meg and James in the OBR.  Meg and Becky talking about dating and being able to date without feeling like it has to lead to marriage.

 

5:09 PM BBT All feeds on Liz and Austin sleeping in the HOHR.

 

5:14 PM BBT Steve, James, Meg, and Becky in the KT.  Not much conversation as they mill about.  Steve is making “slop chops”

 

5:15 PM BBT John joins the group in the KT.  Steve comments that he has an HOH basket but that he can’t touch any of the food in it because he’s a Have-Not. 

 

5:17 PM BBT Steve is called to the DR.  Steve says “again?”  Steve starts to go, but then James is called to the DR.  We get Jeff’s Reels.  It’s time for the Power of Veto competition!!!

8:08 PM BBT Vanessa, Steve, James and Julia are in the KT talking about how fast Liz was in the PoV competition.  Julia says she called it.  She said Liz was going to win and she won.  Steve said he was so nervous about OTEV.  Julia says that at least Steve was not out in the first round.

 

8:15 PM BBT Vanessa is in the HOHR talking to Liz about Becky trying to play all sides of the house, then tells Liz not to repeat what she is saying.  Vanessa asks Liz if Johnny Mac told her who his target is, and Liz says no.  Vanessa says, you didn’t make a deal?  He’s just being nicer?  Liz acknowledges that Johnny Mac is being nicer.  Vanessa is pitching Becky as a target in case Jackie comes back into the house.  Austin pops his head in from the HOHR WA and tells Vanessa that Becky tried to knock him over.

 

8:18 PM BBT Vanessa remembers something else about Becky.  When James was HOH, Becky was running to Shelli and Clay with information.  Shelli told Vanessa that Becky had told Shelli and Clay that James was targeting them, but not to worry because Becky was trying to redirect him to the twins. 

 

8:22 PM BBT Austin tells Vanessa that John has been really nice to Austin and that he’s looking for a team and wants to work with them.  Vanessa asks Austin if John has told them his targets and Austin tells her no...that John is playing  a defensive game.  Austin says that John will be lonely without Becky, so it will be good to work with him. Vanessa says they are really well set up with two duos they can pit against each other.

 

8:26 PM BBT Liz and Austin say they will be down to eat and Vanessa leaves.  When Austin and Liz are alone together, Austin said it was a good conversation because Vanessa is feeling comfortable.  Liz complains that Vanessa asked Liz about whether Johnny Mac told them his target and then she asked Austin the same question right after.  Austin says it’s good that we both gave the same answer and protected Johnny Mac.  Liz points out that Vanessa did that because she has a feeling.  Austin says that everything is good because they have Steve and Johnny Mac, and they have Meg and James, and they are both working with them and gunning for Vanessa, and they will put each other up if they win HOH.  They’re set.  Liz says they are so good it’s not even funny.

 

8:29 PM BBT Liz is fixing Austin’s braids and tells Austin about something Vanessa brought up about Becky.  Austin says “yeah, we know you need to bury Becky so you don’t get backdoored.”  Liz is offended that Vanessa thinks she will be backdoored and Austin says that Vanessa probably thinks that Austin is influencing Liz.  Liz and Austin hug and you can hear a heartbeat in the microphone.  They head downstairs.

8:40 PM BBT Becky, Meg, Steve, John, and James are sitting at the Dining Table while Liz and Julia cook in the KT area.  Meg is talking about chewing the ice in her drinks and John says that is bad for your teeth and you shouldn’t do that.  Becky asks whether chewing on straws is bad, and John says that is probably fine.  They talk about whether it counts as winning HOH if you are later dethroned.  Steve says it’s debatable.  John asks if they were still doing BotB this time last year, and Steve says yes.  They speculate why they stopped BotB.  Becky thinks it was in response to fans.

 

8:50 PM BBT Julia and Vanessa are in the WA.  Julia blow-drying her hair and Vanessa putting something on her face.  John, James, Meg, and Becky still at the DT chatting while Liz cooks.  Meg is trying to think of a name.   

 

8:57 PM BBT The group at the DT talking about southern accents.  Becky tells them about a British friend who loved Duck Dynasty and how hilarious it was to hear a bunch of British guys try to do a southern accent.  Meg says that she doesn’t notice James’ accent any more.  John says that maybe James is losing it.  Becky says that she noticed Jason’s accent more than James.  James starts talking in an exaggerated southern accent.

9:00 PM BBT  Steve and Vanessa are in the HNR.  Vanessa asks Steve if he has talked to Johnny at all about Vanessa.  Steve says that Johnny was frustrated yesterday.  Vanessa asks what Steve says when John tells him he is frustrated.  Steve says he sympathizes with him.  Vanessa complains that John is hanging on to something that is old.  Vanessa says that the only person she told about the 8-person alliance was Steve.  Steve thinks it is just a mis-communication.  Vanessa says that John shouldn’t have argued with her over it because it just pi**ed her off.  Steve tells her he understands how she feels.  Vanessa asks him if their final 2 is still good, and Steve says yes.  She asks again.  If it comes down to Vanessa or John, Steve will pick Vanessa? 100%? On your ___ everything?  Steve says yes each time she asks. Vanessa says that Steve is her only final 2. 

 

9:02 PM BBT Steve tells Vanessa that people are telling him that Vanessa made the 8-person alliance.  Vanessa starts to get upset and say that it was James’ HOH, and Steve tells her over and over that he knows she didn’t do it, and he is just letting her know.    Vanessa says that first of all there was no alliance.  Vanessa said that she was the last one approached and was even surprised she was included in it.  If she had done it, she would have done it differently.  [which is it?  It didn’t exist or someone else did it?]

 

9:04 PM BBT Vanessa asks Steve if it gets down to “Scamper Squad” how do they get to the finals.  Steve says it’s a great question, but he doesn’t have an answer.  Steve stands up because he thinks it looks more suspicious if they sit on the floor.  They talk some more about it and realize that neither of them have a strategy.  Steve wants to build a bridge between John and Vanessa because he thinks that it will benefit all of them.  Vanessa says she is on board but she has never had a harder time building a bridge in her life.  They talk about how they really like Becky on a personal level but they can’t talk game with her.  Steve says that Becky will be going this week. 

 

9:07 PM BBT Vanessa asks Steve who they should target next week.  Vanessa has an opinion but Steve doesn’t it.  She tells Steve to think about it and they will talk later because she doesn’t want to influence him.  He tries to guess but is wrong, and it drives him crazy that she won’t tell him.

 

9:14 PM BBT Liz is still in the KT.  Becky is sitting at the glass counter.  Meg and John are sitting at the DT.  James is playing pot ball by himself.  Vanessa and Steve are still talking in the HNR.  Steve is laying on the floor.  They are talking about the PoV competition and saying that a lot of it came down to luck. 

 

9:22 PM BBT All of the HGs are in the KT together and are talking about playing pot ball again.  Austin says they are going to get bored and the others disagree.  Austin teases Steve that he doesn’t like to be called “Oscar”...he just wants to be called “boy”. 

 

9:24 PM BBT All the HGs are gathered around the glass counter in the KT.  Austin gets reprimanded by BB for talking about his DR session.  Meg says that BB is obsessed with James torturing her.  Meg is animatedly telling everyone about James piling blankets on top of her when she was sleeping, and then James got rewarded with the song that he requested during the wake-up call.  Meg had been requesting a song for days and days.

9:32pm BBt: Hg sitting around the Kt telling stories while they are drinking their wine and beer and being very loud.

 

9:36pm BBT: Becky telling about getting hit by the train and says  she remembers waking up on the sidewalk with someone over me and  the guy says oh you are American and she asked where she was and he told her Germany. She says they take her to the hospital and  is soak and wet and  knows it is not from the snow so she knew it was her head that was bleeding.She then says that she was thinking what is my name what is my friends name and phone number and she thought she would not be herself anymore then the Dr asked where do you hurt and she told them no where and they asked again and i said my leg as it was broke.She says i refused to go to surgery until my friend got there cause my family would not go so my friend got there and i went to surgery.

 

 9:42pm BBT: Becky continues that they would give her meds and she would ask for her phone and she finally got her assistant there and she called my family and friends. Austin ask was you standing when you got hit? She says i was around the corner and a van came along it is a van that like unloads a piano and my hood was up  and my apartment wasn't far and i went behind the van and looked around to see if anything was coming and got hit.

 

 9:49pm BBT: Becky talking about the health system between Germany and US and how much it cost her for all her surgeries and everything that she went through cost like twenty five thousand dollars in Germany where it would have been even more in US, Julia says i can not believe you survived that. Becky says what does not kill you makes you stronger.

 

9:51pm BBT: James tells  He was doing circuit training in the ocean and this great white shark came up and almost swallowed me and i had the bowie knife and i cut it stomach open and got out and had to swim back to shore but the thing is nobody saw it so i can not confirm the story. He the laughs and Liz says great story tell it again. Hg start talking about eating and playing games.

 

9:55pm BBT: Vanessa and Steve in the HNBR quiet as all the other Hg are in the KT eating and talking about who beat who in  the games.

 10:00pm BBT: Austin and Becky talking about the OTEV comp today and how Steve made a pile of the names they needed. Austin says he was looking for the name DA and he forgot it was Da'Vonne and  it was a big difference. Becky says she was looking for Clay saying I hate myself. Liz says she was looking for any names. Vanessa comes out of the HNBR  to the KT to make a protein shake.

 

 10:10pm BBT: HG are cleaning up after eating dinner. Liz , James and Meg are setting up to play pot ball and Liz and meg says they are not set up right. James says that they can be set up different but the girls yell no they like it the way it was set up yesterday. 

 

10:15pm BBT: Becky eating  fruit as they get the teams together for their game to start.

 

 10:26pm BBT: All the HG in the KT area playing Pot ball and cheering.

 

 10:37pm BBT: Meg and Becky are in the WA. Becky is doing her hair  and talking about Liz winning the POV and if she will use it or not as meg tries to leave the Wa and says we will talk tomorrow and she heads back to the Pot ball game leaving Becky alone doing her hair.

 

10:44pm BBT: Austin and Liz playing with each other in the KT and Liz screaming as Austin tickles her. Julia, Liz and Austin want to make cookies for tonight.Becky still in the WA alone doing her hair. All the other Hg still playing pot Ball  and screaming. 

 

10:51pm BBT: Pot Ball game is still going on. Liz is making cookies while Austin now watches. Steve is sitting at the KT table just watching. Becky is sitting in the cabana RM alone stretching.

 

 10:55pm BBT: Steve leaves the KT and Austin says he is upset over the nickname Oscar. Liz goes looking for him  as she says that is her son and then Steve comes out of the WA to take his turn in the game.

11:01 PM BBT Becky has gone to bed in the CBR.  The other HGs are in the KT/DT either playing pot ball or watching the game.  Meg says that Vanessa has done very well in the game. 

 

11:06 PM BBT The HGs agree to have one more round of pot ball and then finish with the bonus round. 

 

11:10 PM BBT The bonus round is everyone taking 3 shots to get one in “the glory hole” which is a beverage glass that is nearly impossible to drop a ball into.  If someone gets it, it’s an absolute win.  Otherwise the team with the highest score still wins...that’s Austin and Meg. 

 

11:15 PM BBT John takes a shot and it hits the cup and knocks it off.  They debate whether it went in and jumped back out.  John says this is like a carnival game that you can’t win.  On his second try, he knocks it off again.  James fixes it so that it doesn’t fall over, and John tries again.  No luck.  James keeps holding it in place while Vanessa takes her three shots.  No luck....Meg and Austin are the winners!!  James is throwing things at the twins and Meg, and they are throwing them back.

11:18 PM BBT Steve takes the bowl of candies into the CBR and empties the bowl into one of the beds, then hides the bowl under another bed.  James bursts into the room, taking cover from others pelting him.  There is a lot of screaming going on as candies are pelted back and forth. 

 

11:25 PM BBT Feeds go to Fish for a few minutes, and when we come back, John and Becky are talking in the CBR. Becky is saying that she was just trying to control her controllables.  She did everything she could to try to keep Shelli and send home Vanessa.  She fought so hard and held every conversation she could and couldn’t do anything and that made her panic and she got paranoid.  She was sad and mad.  She wonders if she should have taken Shelli off the block and put up John so that people would vote Vanessa out. 

 

11:26 Becky asks John how he is, and he says the past two weeks have been tough.  Becky: Horrible.  John says that people don’t know why he is so mopey, but it’s because he knows things they don’t.  Becky says it sucks that the twins and Austin can play summer camp for so long and then run the house.  That kills her more than anything.  Becky tells John that the twins never once hit her block.  Becky says she protected them and that at the end of the day Vanessa and Steve will campaign for John.  Steve comes into the room to check on Becky.  Becky says that she made a bad game move in her HOH and she’s paying the price, so it’s hard to play games.  She says she just needs to be mopey Becky for 24 hours and let the realization of not winning the veto sink in.

 

11:29 PM BBT Steve leaves the CBR and Becky tells John that Jackie would never have gone after Steve.  The twins and Austin bully Steve and they want him up.  Steve is disposable to them.  Becky says Vanessa hated Jackie and told Steve to go after her.  John says Vanessa destroyed them in one week.  They didn’t see the big picture.  It seemed like a good plan to John.  Becky’s choice in HOH was based on James saying he was more scared of Vanessa than Shelli.  They were all on board until Vanessa started talking and it all changed.

11:34 PM BBT Becky and John continue to go over how things happened in the past few weeks and they are tracing Vanessa’s influence on others.  Becky says that Vanessa pretends to people that she is their only friend in the house...they are both independent and should work together. Becky says the people that Vanessa is close to are the people that she burns the hardest because those are the people who feel safe enough to talk about their game with Vanessa. Becky says she tried warning everyone, but Vanessa might win it because she’s so good at convincing people to trust her.  Becky says that Shelli and Clay went home because Vanessa sold them out.  Clelli took the blame for Jason going home even though Vanessa was the one in power. 

 

11:37 PM BBT John tries to suggests that if Vanessa keeps playing like this, she might be a good one to take to the end because she is pi**sing everyone off, but Becky interrupts him and says “no!  I’ve been telling people about this and no one will see it” because Vanessa morphs to people who are down in their game.  She grabs their hand and shows them safety, so whoever is down in their game won’t vote her out.  Becky goes on to give examples.  John thinks Vanessa could end up in the final two because no one likes her.  Becky doesn’t agree...she thinks Vanessa is good at what she does. 

11:39 PM BBT Becky thinks Austin and the twins are more of a threat than anyone thought.  Becky thinks Austin can play but he chooses not to win.   

 

11:44 PM BBT Steve, Liz and Austin are talking in the HOHR.  Steve and Liz hug three times.  Austin and Liz ask Steve if he thinks Johnny Mac threw it [the PoV comp].  Austin says if it wasn’t for that, Austin would have been out.  Steve says “You beat Becky.  That’s all that matters.”  Liz tells Steve to let Johnny know that the noms are going to stay the same.  Austin tells Steve that Vanessa is trying to talk to Johnny for the past two hours.  They discuss the votes.  Steve thinks James and Meg will vote to keep Becky but Austin and Liz say they probably won’t.  Julia comes into the room.

 

11:48 PM BBT In the CBR, Becky tells John that she is sick of thinking in circles, and she is in acceptance mode.  John totally identifies with thinking and circles and it drives him crazy.  Becky feels she cleaned up James’ dirty work and then they left her out to dry.   In the HOHR, Austin and the twins are talking to Steve about Vanessa and telling him that they can’t be the ones to take her out.  Steve tells them that Vanessa is the one who told him to backdoor Jackie.  They tell Steve that they know and that’s the reason that James and Meg are targeting Vanessa and not Steve. 

 

11:54 PM BBT In the CBR, Becky is putting things in perspective by looking at what she has accomplished so far.  She didn’t go home the first week, and she’s won HOH and competed in OTEV, and she’s won $10,000.  Rather than think about coulda/woulda/shouldas, she can think about what she’s done and experienced.
