  1. Candice did not play a good game and also she does not need to be dragged back into that mess in the house. She is better off in the jury having a good time and going on with her life.

If people really cared about Candice they might want to realize that bringing her back into the den of wolves would be pretty cruel. She will just get picked on more and voted out.

She has no chance of winning the game or going to the final 2.

    ITA!

  2. She tried. No one was interested. Now it's a matter of losing a jury vote from her. By my count, Helen's down 3.

She gave a very, very weak attempt at it. Whined a little. Moped. Ate. Slept.

A good player would have seized the opportunity to expose Helen for trying to get Amanda and McCrae out. That news would have been much more credible if it had of been delivered better and wasn't wrapped up in attacks and calling out of other HG's. A concerted, strategic take down campaign against Helen could have had the whole house in an uproar.

Instead they are all mutually freaked out and want her gone ASAP.

  3. Jessie deserves some much needed rest after doing all that work in the past 24 hours that should have been done all season.

She made up for some lost opportunities there -- good work Jessie!

Not really. She could have seized this opportunity to divide and conquer - really make a splash. Instead she alienated everyone.

She could have done some serious damage if she had of chosen a target and honed right in on it. People's feathers are ruffled, but mostly at her, rather than each other.

  4. IMO, calling-people-out and having house meetings is the worst thing a HG can do if they want to win. Jessie whined to anybody she could latch onto about anything and everything. She seems like a sweet girl and very pretty but calling-out people alienates you from each of them. Especially so, if you don't have your own little army behind you. Jessie had nobody. There is a reason for that. She is lucky to have lasted to jury and would have gone last week had it not been for the reprieve helen provided her with judd as the target. Jessie was always expendable. It is the same in each season.

    ICAM.

  5. I know you guys are gonna laugh at me but I gotta say it - I felt TERRIBLE watching Judd beg for his life. Andy said it best - it was like watching a dying animal. I don't think I could have voted him out if I was there. I know I am a sucker. Stop laughing.

It really bothered me too. I was like OMG just hurry up and end this.

  6. I didn't hear it, Annamrie. Someone told me that so your words are probably more correct. First, I thought whoa when aaryn even said something and whoa again when amanda shut it down fast. They are all on edge. I think that elissa did say it because I think that elissa really liked judd and knew that it hurt him for her to vote against him. It did. That's the dark side of BB and "going with the house."

Yes it is, although I found her tiresome during the last few votes where she would say, I don't want to do this at all, but I vote for ____. OK that works now and then for me, but vote after vote, all I can think is actually do something then or stop whining.

  7. The "blacks" are gone because they didn't win any competitions to keep themselves in the house and weren't successful in mounting campaigns to overthrow the powers-that-be.

The black man didin't impress me much in total except that he seemed like a good guy with a good heart. I was a tad thrown by his apparent knowledge of dog-fighting but I gave him the benefit of the doubt on that. I was confused that he would whisper anything in amanda's ear - of all people, amanda - but not knowing what he said, I decided to not believe her and only half-believe him or whatever. I do not miss him.

The black/bi-racial woman I liked. I was somewhat impressed by her initially but as the days wore on I realized that the situation was probably more than she could handle for a bunch of reasons and I thought it was best that she go. I was uneasy with her in the house with those people so I don't miss her, either.

As I have said before, this is my last big brother. (sorry for reiterating some more, hawk :) The show has grown thin for me and I am not about watching a bunch of people talk and act as if they are 15 and on vacation from their parents.

Howard and candice are able to fight their own battles. Both are college-educated, good-looking people. They are certainly better positioned in life than a couple of others in that house.

    Great post!

  8. Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate them. I've had my moments, too. :)

As for helen, I would think that she and her husband decided to go for it. I think that she is a long-time BB fan. I can't imagine that it is easy for her in the house being away from young children and family. Her choice. She doesn't seem to have complained about it much. Maybe she likes it. I heard her tell someone the other day - elissa; if memory serves, in an unguarded moment, that being in the big brother house is much harder than going to work every day. I think that it would be.

My point being, that even though I am not a helen fan, I admire that she did something out of the ordinary and even if she is evicted tomorrow, I think that aside from it all, those people in that house would have mostly kind words for helen kim.

I'm not a huge fan of her either, but I do respect her gameplay and agree with your POV.

I can certainly imagine that living there is much more stressful than what most of our day to day lives are like. Certainly not for me.

  9. Taharqa, I don't have thousands or even hundreds of posts, but I have been a reader on Morty's for years. I have never known Slimcruz to be mean or spiteful. He/she (just realized I don't know which) is usually the voice of reason and calm. This is really getting wearisome.

    Yes I agree.

  10. Actually, what helen is in real life is a woman who devoted a lot of personal time and effort helping to elect and then re-elect some people via a couple of democratic organizations. I suspect that she is just concerned and probably pretty nice outside the house. Her friends - who are also nice people - certainly do think so.

I'm sure she is a fantastic person outside the house and she is playing a pretty good game so far.

  11. These are supposed to be legal adults. BB shouldn't have to monitor their meds. If one of them bites the dust it'll be Natural Selection.

Some pills might be vitamins. I take almost two dozen each day.

That does pose an interesting question. Why is BB monitoring their prescription medications at all? They are on a game show, not Celebrity Rehab.
