I disagree. Topaz could have kept her mouth shut. It wasn't like it was in the Diary Room where they have producers asking them questions (presumably). That is really the only place they are encouraged to tell her thoughts. The HOH room isn't the Diary Room. Peter was right with his thoughts on the subject. Still, while she shouldn't have talked, it isn't her fault and I think it was pretty rotten that they got to see her. I'd say some of the blame for what happened falls of both Topaz and BB.

Why does he think that anyone trying to get him or his allies out is making a "weak" move? He is strong and getting him out would be a good move.

I don't think that was Big Brother's intention though; they probably just wanted Topaz and the HG's to get the news at the same time. She was just dumb enough to talk to herself and spill everything.

I don't understand why everyone thought that AJ would be evicted by public vote. The public didn't even have a way to vote, so why so many people seem to think this? Also, even with the twists and influence from the public, it doesn't seem like the producers are manipulating the game. In BBCA it actually seems like the twists are planned in advance, whereas in BBUSA it seems they are concocted when something happens that Grodner finds unfavorable.

I like both Arisa and Julie. They just both have their own styles, and Arisa needs to be herself rather than just trying to be a copy of Julie. I frankly don't see a problem with Arisa letting the HG's take as much time as needed. The amount of time that she allows them to have doesn't really affect the end of the show. The extra time she let the HG's have yesterday was fine, she even had time to ask them questions after the competition. Plus, if they do take too much time it can just be edited down since the show just pretends to be live. So why is a sense of urgency even needed? I always thought that the only reason that Julie was so demanding of answers was because the US version is live, and they can't go outside of their scheduled time slot...hence urgency is needed then. And no, Arisa probably isn't the greatest host, however it isn't even halfway through the first season yet. Julie has had fourteen seasons since the year 2000 to perfect her hosting. I think we forget just how much the "Chenbot" has improved. Do we even know if Canada has anything to do with this PowerShift? I don't think that there is voting or anything, so I thought that this PowerShift was internal and the HG's will decide who goes. Why the complaining about the HG's in their twenties? I think most of the favorites and those who played the game the best happened to be in their twenties, at least in their inaugural seasons. I don't think that they all like each other way too much. Maybe those who are left do, but that's because they evicted all the HG's who they didn't like such as Tom, Liza, and Suzette. It almost always starts off meaner than it ends, I think. In BB12, for instance, how interesting was the season and how mean were the HG's after Brendon and Rachel were evicted? The constant reason that they keep mentioning the prize, or at least the Trax and the shopping spree at the Brick is mostly because Chevrolet and the Brick are sponsoring the show and get perks such as much exposure as possible. Also, I am sure that's why Arisa always mentions that the "Big Brother Canada house was built with help from our friends at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse". BBUSA most likely gets enough funding from CBS and doesn't have to resort to these kind of tactics. Yes, Canada did save Suzette, but I think so many people are overestimating their like for her because of it. There were just two people to save, AJ and Suzette. Even if you dislike Suzette, I think most people would save her over AJ. While neither of them added much to the game, she at least added tension because few of the other HG's liked her and as a result the game could have become more interesting because of the save. When it comes to the feeds, I am not sure what is better: the feeds being off for consecutive days or the feeds going FOTH every two minutes like on BBUSA. Next year when people are paying (most likely) they probably won't be doing this since the fact that they are free is their only defense. I agree about Emmett & Jillian as well as Peter and Topaz. I think you are totally right about all of them.

That's very fortunate. On FB, one woman said that she called Rogers and they said it cost her $25 a month to add the channel. I presume that means she would have to buy a Premium package, but still, that's a lot if you are just going to watch the one channel. Happy Easter to you too! Oh wow. Yes, it means that the Live Feeds will be off until after Sunday's 9PM broadcast. And it's not the live feeds that are only free until March 31st. Those will remain free throughout the season. What they are referring to is that the Slice "Free Preview" ends Sunday, March 31st. I presume this means that Canadians will have to begin paying for the channel if they don't already. I don't know much about it as I am an American, but that is what I've gleaned from the BBCA Facebook page.

Since it's another Chevrolet Power Shift, combined with what we know about the "Double HOH" does anyone else think that whoever Topaz nominates will become a dual HOH or something? Edit: Never mind!

You are right about Dr. Will. He was also on Dr. 90210 I think, but I am not sure if that's because he used his BB "fame" to get him in the door, or if it was just because he is a respected doctor. There are other BB contestants that you could say increased their fame after their stint on the show, but most of those examples include becoming convicted criminals or becoming gay porn stars. Not such a great track record IMO. I'd probably wish for obscurity.

Oh brother. They've gotten to the point where they are talking about how famous they are going to be after the show and how many opportunities they are going to get (modeling and endorsing yoga equipment, I think?). It's very annoying, not to mention they should know better. How many BBUSA contestants are famous now? It never happens.

I agree. The only person Alec really has is Peter, and he shouldn't be advertising that fact. He doesn't have Topaz, you can tell that she is just using him to get further and doesn't really care much. I am sure she is sick of him after the iPod incident. He was so whiny.

Not only did that sound extremely idiotic in my opinion, but he might as well have told the truth, right? And to Liza...you're weird and I don't like you? Way to be creative there!

I honestly don't know why they hated him so much. Yeah he could be arrogant and clueless, but they all have their flaws too. He seemed to be an honest and trustworthy person, at least more than Drama Queen Alec, Peter, and Glitter Gary.

The BBCA house is in Mississauga, Ontario, which is near Toronto. As for second place, I don't think they get anything. If they do, I don't think it has been mentioned!

I don't see how I contradicted myself at all. I said someone could lodge a complaint, but I said I don't see it happening because it just isn't rational. How can they lodge a complaint for something most people do, and it's not like she's doing it on the job. How can someone be penalized for something they are doing off the clock? I still don't think we know they have had sex or not either. I don't think anyone can prove what they were doing under the covers, and you even admit that it wasn't obvious. Have they admitted it or something?

First off, do we really know if Emmett and Jillian have really had sex? I mean I know they make out a lot and do stuff under the covers, but I didn't know if it was for certain. I read the feed updates, but don't really watch much of them, so I haven't seen the footage myself. Still, I think you are blowing things out of proportion and are putting too much blame on her. The show that airs on Slice doesn't air any of that content, the most we have seen on the show is a little kissing and not even that much. Even so, there is a reason there is a "mature content" message played at the beginning of the show and after they come back from commercial. They air lots of curse words and such, that wouldn't be acceptable on BBUSA for example. The only way someone's kids would be getting the true look at Emmett and Jilliian's relationship would be if they were watching the live feeds (which means they aren't walking in on anything). In general, if someone's children happen to see it, it's the parents fault in my opinion. If they see it, it's because the parent isn't taking an active role in knowing what their kids are watching. I don't see how that's Jillian's fault. Plus, I don't see why anyone could rationally complain (though I am not saying they won't). She isn't the only teacher that is having casual sex in the world. Still, if she is having sex in the BB house with all the cameras, that's pretty slutty. I think Jillian is pretty safe. I don't think anyone else in the history of BB has ever lost their job because of their actions in the house, and I don't think this will be the first. Also, one last idea I want to posit is that it probably matters what level of school she teaches. Being a kindergarten teacher might have a different impact than being a high school teacher, for example. Err...why am I even spending time defending Jillian anyways? She annoys me and I will enjoy seeing her evicted along with her wannabe girls alliance.

There are lots of rumors, but most people think it has to do with last nights disaster of an HOH competition. Multiple people were cheating and apparently some had trouble with the equipment used. So, it was thought to have been replayed, I guess.

I don't see what the problem is with Jillian. I mean I don't like her, but what she is doing in the house isn't that bad. So she has a personal life...big deal. That doesn't necessarily affect what she is doing in the classroom or what kind of an educator she is.

Why are Tom, Suzette, and AJ taking Canada's vote so personally? Just because they voted for Suzette to stay doesn't mean they love her and it doesn't mean they hate Tom or AJ. There were just two people to vote for! Good grief.
