Probably due to eating GMO corn which has terrible effects on the stomach and is causing massive numbers of people to have digestive problems. I know they say it is genetic, but somethings are initiated due to weakness that would not become active without the causative substance.

In one of the videos they said that there is a mutation of chromosome 10. Raven and her brother inherited it from their mother.

I was undecided about her. Kind of liked her but thought the bubbly personality would become annoying fast, But, holy cow, what a terrible disease for this young woman to be living with. Just amazing that she keeps that happy and bright personality. Hope she does well in the game.

You could have knocked me over with a feather when I watched the first video. Her over-the-top bubbly attitude during her Jeff interview had me hoping she would be out fast. I no longer feel that way.

  3. So I saw somewhere that in the source code on the vote page there was info on future Den of Temptation.. temptations! Well, it's true! One possible future temptation will be: Halting Hex!

The winning houseguest will be tempted with the Halting Hex! Whether on the block or not, they can halt any one of the next four evictions during the live show, making it a non-eviction night. But remember, every temptation comes with a consequence.

I am not posting the code or the screen grab, but this is what it said. I will be posting a thread for the other as well.

    Thoughts on the HH?

The winning houseguest will be tempted with the Ring of Replacement, which will give them the power to play in any Veto Competition they want this summer! If they’re not one of the six houseguests playing, they can swap places with one of the three players chosen by random draw. The Ring of Replacement can only be used once, but remember, every temptation comes with a consequence.

    Thoughts on the RoR?

  5. So normally I would be working from post eviction to post eviction. I would be covering a weeks worth of BB and discuss things that happened not only on the shows, but on the feeds too! As we all know, feeds won't go live until after tomorrow's episode, so I am going to start the season with a bit about tonight and my feelings on opening night evictions.

First off, Paul? REALLY? Really CBS? I couldn't take "your boy" last season, and I'd prefer to not have him this season. As much as I wished for an all new cast this season, if you had to bring someone back, why not Meg? Or even Cowboy or his sister, Nikomas from BB5? If you want people from more recent seasons, Becky from BB17 is a great choice. I really liked her (and I know fans did too). If you insisted on picking someone from BB18, then why not Victor? I think he was a bigger fan favorite than Paul.

    I'm straying...

I loved that we had such a mix up of new house guests. So many different personalities. After reading bios, watching the various interviews (or reading them), I couldn't wait to see what they were going to be like tonight. They didn't disappoint!

The Summer of Temptation started off with a bang!

Now there are going to be recaps EVERYWHERE tonight/tomorrow, but tonight this is mostly going to be my opinion about the events. Feel free to chime in below with your reactions as well! I would LOVE to hear what you all think!

$25,000. Let's think about that for a minute. Guaranteed $25,000. Yeah you can't win the first HoH comp, but most players don't want to, as they don't want to get blood on their hands that early.

I think I would have taken it, or at least tried. Kevin was quick I tell ya! I can see why though. 7 kids, youngest just graduated high school. He has college and weddings for his daughters to think about.

The no-HoH thing was an okay consequence for me, but the "unknown". I don't know. I don't think it would have phased me. However, going forward, I would be a bit leery about it! If I had known that someone would be replaced with a previous house guest if I took the money, I would have been less likely to take it.

I say that because I never realized before just what the HG's go through pre-season, during the audition process. Multiple trips for interviews. Stacks of paperwork, pre-confirmation sequester that you have to go through and still may not make it into the house. And don't forget, you can't tell anyone. So you vanish for almost two weeks, can't tell anyone, not even your boss and pray you have a job to come back to. Then if you are picked, you have to either quit, or ask for a 3 month furlough, but again, you can't tell them why!

Learning all of that from Evel Dick on his pre-season thoughts, blew me away. Because after going through all of that, getting picked to be on the show, you go home "on the first night". Now I know it wasn't their first night (or maybe it was) but it was our first night seeing them.

They didn't get a chance to play! Remember Jodi? I know we all remember Glenn! (Of course his Twitter escapades last summer may have something to do with us remembering him LOL)

My point is, going through all of that to be sent home within 48 hours, SUCKS! I feel very bad for Cameron. I feel worse knowing that he basically had no chance. Of course they were going to keep the eye candy in the game. They don't want to risk another Ian or Steve.

If as many of these are super-fans as they claim, this could be an interesting season. Paul will have to change up his game. They will do their best to not let him get to the final 2. He almost won. He lost 5-4 to Snacole (Nicole Franzel). And I think the only reason the girls voted for her is because they wanted a girl to win, as it's been too long! We all know why Corey voted for her!

I'm looking forward to a great season and I hope to hear from all of you with your thoughts on the first episode.

    Until next time ♥

  6. Good afternoon/evening all!

We are a smidge over 24 hours away from the premiere of Big Brother 19. I am curious to know your thoughts on a couple of questions.

Who do you want to go home and who do you think will win. Remember, these are just based off of what you have seen about the HGs so far, between interviews, bios, etc.

If you'd like, feel free to let me know why you picked those folks.

(Polls close at 4pm BBT tomorrow!)

Does anyone know where I can watch BB Over the Top? I missed out on that one.

If you have All Access, you can watch them on the app. Just go to Shows> Big Brother Over the Top. I just looked and there are 10 episodes.. I know it's not much but.. it's something. I think there is another place, but not 100%.

  8. Thank you for the intro, Fuskie!

I hope you all are ready for another great season. This is going to be a first for me, so if you want to see something different as the season goes, please feel free to let me know! Here is how my blog will work:

Either Thursday night or Friday morning (depends on hubby's schedule and how late I can stay up lol!) I will post about the last week, from HoH comp to eviction. I will break down what was on the feeds that lead to each decision as well as my thoughts on what happened.

I am super excited to start this journey. We will see what happens during the opening nights (Wednesday and Thursday) before I can say when my next post will be!

    Have a great week y'all!

  9. My curiosity is piqued, I won't deny it. From an interview I read with AG, I am worried that it may be a "too much" type of thing with temptations weekly (or even more frequent).

She also said that premier night would include multiple competitions. From an interview with THR:

    Quote

Grodner: The temptations create a bit of a different format for the premiere night, but it is a two hour special event. It's going to be a very busy night full of lots of surprises and twists and turns. I know it sounds like we say that a lot, but it's fair to say we are guaranteeing it for the premiere.

Meehan: There's definitely competitions, but it depends on what pathway we go down.

Grodner: It's actually possible that a competition could be in the backyard ready to go and our art department has worked really hard to put it out there and the houseguests don't play it because of a decision they made.

Will be quite interesting to see how this plays out.

I lived in Palm Springs up until 8 years ago. Worked for City of Palm Springs for 30 years. Moved to Beaumont. My daughter raised in Palm Springs just moved to Indio.

I worked at the only Del Taco (at the time) in Palm Springs about 10-11 years ago, and then the old Ralph's. Who knows, we may have run into each other!

  11. Love that he is into cosplay. I see him and Alex getting along as she makes her own costumes when she crochets.

Really liked some of his answers on the bio/interview. But the answer about strategy saying that "people automatically like me as soon as they meet me" rubs me the wrong way.

He is another that goes in depth with his strategy that thinks he can win on demand before even seeing any other HG. I don't like that trait!
