I read that too but I thought it was all bluster on Jason's part to impress Paul.  I doubt he meant a word of it.  Paul on the other hand always tries to poke the worst out of everyone.  Gosh I can't think of anyone I've detested more than Paul in my entire life.  That's scary.

Yeah, it's just talk. Who cares? Does anyone actually think Jason has plans to rape Kevin's wife? I don't much care for Jason, but what he says doesn't bother me at all.

You're locked in a house with many people you don't like for 3 months, and have far less freedom than real prisoners. Damn! I'd be saying a lot worse than that by this time in the summer.

  2. Yeah, I'm rapidly losing interest in this season. It was okay when Cody and Jess were still in it. At least then it was "Team Paul" vs. "Team Jody". But we knew what the outcome would be. Now, it's just "Team Paul" vs. "Whoever is next on Paul's list". They're all idiots. Paul deserves to win, but only because production stacked the game hugely in his favor. Totally unfair game. And very, very, predictable.

Why are the producers making it so obvious that they are favoring Paul?  I think it is wrong to favor one HG over another, even if they are extra good or extra bad.

It was obvious from the first week that the producers want Paul to win. He came into the game a vet, and was given 3 week immunity. We have no idea if he "won" the immunity legitimately, since CBS controls all the voting information. In any case, it is pretty clear it was designed for him to stay in the game and work his snake magic. After 3 weeks, the sheep either do what he wants or they get blacklisted by Paul and are gone the next week.

I didn't like Paul last year, and I like him even less this year.

Cody was a jerk, but I liked him better as time went on because he was the only one willing to stand up to Paul. (Even though he really didn't have any other option.)

Ya sounds like it. In the roundtable Corey making the comment about James not playing the game but spent all his time chasing Natalie. LOL

Yes, which is why I said his brain couldn't get enough blood for him to think. I don't think Nat was playing him (I think she genuinely likes him as a FRIEND), but she totally ruined his game if he ever had one.

If you can't win the jury then you are not the best player. The goal the whole game is to win the jury votes if you want to win. Paul was playing the game more for promotion of his business and for fame.

Yes, I'll agree with you about his promotion of fame. A lot of reality-show contestants do it for that. Nat also basically admitted to it as well, in the post-game interview.

But if he had taken James, he would have easily won. He just made one stupid, game-costing decision. IMO, that move made him deserving of 2nd place, and Nicole deserving of first.

I think it is possible that James could have beat Paul or gotten close in the jury votes.

Not according to the post game interviews. I think it was Da that said something like Paul would have got almost every vote (I assume not Nat's). Even Nat didn't seem to think he had much of a chance, despite her wishing otherwise.

Dumbest move all game was Paul taking Nicole to the final 2. I'm glad he did, but it was really stupid.

Well, Paul may have just lost $450,000 by choosing Nic instead of James.

Bet he'll have nightmares about that little 'whoops' for years to come.....

Yeah, I was shocked he took Nicole. I thought he was smart enough to know that James had zero chance to win against either of them. That was clearly a huge mistake in his game, and cost him the win. I hope he has many sleepless nights over it. What a jerk.

First,  Michelle looked very beautiful last night.  She is a beauty.  But was shocked that she voted for Paul even though he called her foul language and treated women so disrespectfully, that disappointed me.  She allowed her emotions to get in the way once again.

She may need a little counseling to get a grip on her self worth.  Her mind must be spinning.  She can be very brave, then cries re decisions she has made, then fears others hate her, a little ADD possibly?  I can say that as I am ADD also.  As one who has been there, get evaluated, it can help so much in your life.

Actually, I think her voting for Paul (based on strategy and gameplay) was about the only sane thing she did all season.  I'm glad Nichole won, but Paul was the better player if you took emotion out of it.

Well we agree re him being a dirt bag.    I do believe women would have strong negative reaction to all his demeaning words and actions toward women.   Seems most women posting here feel the same way.  As someone has said, it is not always the comp winners who win the game, that the social game often wins.

It's almost over.  We will soon see what happens.

Okay, I'll have to take your word for it. I'm looking at it from a guy's perspective. We can get called any nasty names, but in the end, it's just words. It's really actions that count.

(Though as I said, I don't watch the feeds, so maybe Paul was abusive in other ways than just words.)

Well you have a right to your opinion yes she was married and she had to answer to her husband.  He knew she was married and what kind of person acts that way with a married woman especially on national tv.  If you didn't get the live feeds then I am sure good old Cody was portrayed as the nice guy. He should not have been touchy feely with her either. He got absolutely no negative response and she was labeled all kinds of names.  It is a double standard but like I said you can disagree.

In fairness to her, her husband seemed like kind of a eunuch, so I can sort of see why she was all over Cody. Totally not right, but it's not all that surprising. She probably knows her husband wouldn't have the b-lls to say or do anything about it.

Do you seriously believe women would vote for a slime who calls women c-nts?  No matter if Bridgette is angry with James I doubt she or any other women would vote for such a foul mouthed pig.  At least I hope they wont.

I don't watch the feeds, so I don't know how Paul has treated the women on the jury. If all he did was use the word c-nts occasionally, then I think a reasonable woman would overlook that if he clearly deserves the win. Perhaps some are not reasonable (Da, for example). So maybe James would stand a chance against Paul.

To be clear, I think Paul is a dirt-bag, and I don't like him. But I do think he has outplayed James by almost every metric, except likability.

I hope the jury isn't so bitter as to base their vote solely on likability.

  12. 2 hours ago, Janis said:

Whatever game moves he made there were not many mainly because he was not being targeted.  I like James but in my opinion he was playing for AFP and not 500,000. I have a different opinion than most.  I think if Nicole takes James and not Paul she will lose and it will not be because James played a better game it will be because he is liked by the jury.  I hope she has some sort of wake up call because the only chance she has is to take Paul and even then she could still lose.

If she takes Paul, she'll have to rely on the traditional "female" jury vote. Normally, that's almost guaranteed. However, this year I'm not sure it is. The women didn't get along well with Nicole. So, who would she have?  Probably: Natalie, James, Corey. Maybe: Da and Z.  She needs those 5. It's a tough call.

Against James, she has: Corey, Paul, Victor, Paulie. Maybe Da and Z and Bridgette.   I think it's an easier win against James.

James definitely has an easier time sitting next to Nicole, rather than Paul.  Against Paul, I think the only vote James gets is Natalie.

Now back to the hog Paul. I have flipped and flopped with hating then liking this guy. After seeing his family you could tell exactly why he is the way he is. He's spoiled and never really had to do anything. He's a disgusting human. Just nasty all around. I keep hoping he flips out on Nic then she wins the hoh and doesn't pick him. Sends his filthy butt right out the door!

He was entertaining and when he's nice it's all good but looking at him now I think that the nice part was all a show.

When he said that him and his friends belittle each other for fun that right there was enough to know that wasn't raised to respect others.

I totally agree. While I don't hate Paul, I really hope he doesn't win. If Nicole wins the final comp, she's smart enough to take James to guarantee her the win. If she took Paul, it's 50-50 who would win.

I really hope to never see Paul's disgusting tattooed, bearded, spoiled face again.  But yeah, CBS likes him, so we'll unfortunately see him again, especially if he doesn't win.

There are times to break your word, but, in the case of Bridgette and James, I believe that was a bad move because Bridgette wasn't the target. He could have gotten someone else to be the pawn for the week. Breaking his word with "the she could win and take Frank down" excuse was weak. She wasn't some comp beast that could not be beaten. I know we will never agree on James this season, I just think he made some major mistakes this season and really disappointed me.

Yes, for a returning player, he was very weak on strategy. Da was weak too, but she's got serious anger problems, so it was only a matter of time before she cracked. I liked her earlier in the game, but I knew she could only hide the old Da for so long.

James, I expected better. I expected him to learn from his previous time on BB, and know how to play the game. He just seemed to treat the summer as a vacation, and forgot he was there to win.

JJames did maneuver to always try and stay in the middle and not be a target.

Being a floater may get you to the end, but it won't win you the game. He never made a good strategic move to benefit himself, yet made several poor decisions which either hurt him or made no sense.

    He loses on strategy.

    He also loses on comps.

He also loses on trustworthiness (making a deal to get HoH, then immediately going back on the deal for no good reason).

He gets loyalty points for Natalie, to a certain extent, but really just because he was infatuated with her. On the negative, he needs to hand in his man-card for not defending her against Paulie. That was not cool. He should have stood up to Paulie; it's not like Paulie could beat him up on national TV, so there was no physical reason to hide from it.

He wins on likability. I just don't think that's enough to win the game.

How do you explain all the players that have won without winning any comps or only comps in the finals. Dr Will, Steve last year, Jordan, Andy and many more. It is sometimes more about social game and aligning yourself with certain people at certain times.

I don't think James is undeserving because he doesn't win many comps. I see him as undeserving because he has no strategic gameplay. He seems completely lost, and either goes along with whomever tells him something, or acts randomly because he doesn't know what to do. I'm not sure if he's just not very smart, or if he's overwhelmed, or if he never put in much of an effort to determine his future.

Whatever the case, he's floated to the final 3, and he doesn't deserve to finish higher than that.

James seems like a nice guy. Probably fun to hang out with. I'd avoid someone like Paul in RL, and I don't like him at all, but he's determined his own fate in this game by playing others. Nicole's done a good job too.

Personally, I'd like to see Nichole win, and Paul come in 2nd. But that won't happen, because neither of them are dumb enough to take the other. They'll take James, because it's a guaranteed win against him.

Do you feel it is classy the way the guys all (except Corey and James) spoke about women, degrading them, comments re sex acts and constantly cursing.  This season we saw the most classless, vulgar, degrading men ever.  It seems Paul, especially, but also Victor and pig Paulie would constantly compete to be the biggest a--h---.  And they all win that title.  Who raised those guys?  Seems they have no respect for women nor do they have a filter re what they should say, especially on national.  It sickens me that their actions and words were all there for young people to watch and probably imitate.

Re Da's leaving her child all summer,  something I wouldn't do but there is that possibility to win 1/2 million dollars.  That would have been a great beginning for that baby.  Certainly set Da and that baby up for a better life.  Why haven't you mentioned the guys leaving their kids?  Derrick has 2 children and certainly others have left their kids also.  But women are always held to a different standard.

Other than Da's outspokenness what other issues re Da cause you to say that she is worse than pig Paulie? What do you think re Frank's patting Da's butt and calling her degrading names?  I feel Da did exactly what had to be done re Frank's often typical male actions.  She called him out on it and was very hurt.  As most women would be, but once again,  a man who feels women are their for his enjoyment, simple play things waiting to be used and abused.

Wondering how you feel re Paul's position presently.

I'm certainly not defending most of the guys. Paulie is a real dirt-bag. So is Paul and Victor, however at least they can occasionally be funny. I don't watch the feeds, so I don't know if they are as nasty as Paulie, but I wouldn't be surprised.  And I feel sorry for Z, I have no idea why she's still hooking up with Paulie.

But that doesn't excuse Da for being a angry b***h that is triggered by the smallest excuse. She's ghetto trash. Yes, she's surrounded by other vile trash, but that doesn't excuse her.
