  1. I thought of Britney too, but I thought someone said that Grodner said nobody from last season is in the cast this year.
  2. Since the original person who posted the "rumor" of the mentors was right about mentors in general, I think we have to assume that she got the names right, as well. As I recall, she said: Dan, Mike "Boogie", Rachel and Janelle. A follow-up rumor said Rachel changed her mind, so to me, the only one that's in question is Rachel's replacement. It seems to me that it has to be a female, and it will probably be someone that on some level was considered a 'villain" (One of the rumors said two heroes, two villains). It's already been said that Natalie was ruled out. Is Maggie a possibility?
  3. I hope nobody knows who is mentoring whom. I don't want them to act like "Dan's Team" and "Janelle's Team," etc. Then we're right back to forced alliances.
  4. If Rachel is out as a mentor, they need another female "villain" who made it far in the game. Much as it pains me......Is that Natalie I sense coming?
  5. LOL, from the male perspective, I was going to say that, strangely, I find it difficult to find many females to root for this year. Obviously that's usually not the case with most male fans....but from the interviews, most of the people that I anticipate being the better players are the guys. In fact, my list of the ones right now that I expect to root for are Shane, Willie, Frank, and Danielle.....with a possible JoJo in there, too. Not sure about her yet.
  6. Most of the interviews are on youtube....but I didn't see this one. Is there a link anywhere?
  7. So the CBS commercial which said the most houseguests ever was an outright lie???
  8. There's a rumor of a rumor that Rachel has been replaced as the fourth mentor: http://bigbrotheraccess.com/evel-dick-confirms-cbs-big-brother-14-mentor-rumors-video-353082/
  9. My number one criteria for rooting for someone this year: It has to be a regular person, not someone looking to become famous or someone who already is in the entertainment field in some way. Having said that, something about this .....um....person.....creeps me OUT. I doubt I can root for Wil....so far.
  10. My number one criteria for rooting for someone this year: It has to be a regular person, not someone looking to become famous or someone who already is in the entertainment field in some way. I can totally root for Danielle....SO FAR.
  11. Didn't like Kalia, doubt I'll like Kalia 2.
  12. My number one criteria for rooting for someone this year: It has to be a regular person, not someone looking to become famous or someone who already is in the entertainment field in some way. I can totally root for Shane....so far.
  13. Oh Lord....looks like a Rachel with a worse attitude. SO FAR I'm doubting I can root for her.
  14. My number one criteria for rooting for someone this year: It has to be a regular person, not someone looking to become famous or someone who already is in the entertainment field in some way. He's the brother of a Survivor "legend," but he himself has a normal enough job. Jury is out on whether I can root for this guy.....depends on how self-aware he is of who he's related to.
  15. My number one criteria for rooting for someone this year: It has to be a regular person, not someone looking to become famous or someone who already is in the entertainment field in some way. I can totally root for Mike....so far.
  16. Nope, will not root for her, no matter how "sweet" she seems in her interview. I refuse to root for anyone other than a normal, regular person who could be my neighbor next door. Someone who is a sister of someone who is already famous, and who has been a playmate-of-the-year does not fit that category. I resent Big Brother devolving into this over the years.
  17. All I know is if I were a newbie, I'd want Dan as a mentor, since he is the ONLY one of the four who actually won the game his first time around.
  18. Oh Rachel is definitely not the houseguest I hate most. She is, however, the only one that I truly disliked that I had to endure two years in a row.
  19. By the way, if the Rumor about mentors is true, I predict the rumor about an eviction on premiere night is also true. In fact, I would predict that one person from 3 teams will be evicted. Here's why I say that. The ads said the most houseguests ever. We know that means there has to be at least 17 (there were 16 once before). But with mentors, there needs to be an even number on each team.....so the 2 numbers that come close to our normal number of 13 or 14 that are evenly divisible by 4 are 12 and 16 newcomers. Twelve is too few for it to be "the most ever," which means it has to be 16 newcomers. But that's too many to get us down to a single winner by the finale date, without numerous double evictions.....unless one from three teams is evicted.....putting us down to 13 at the end of the premiere night. So we would have an immediate HOH, whose team is safe....with the other teams each losing one player on premiere night.
  20. Worst scenario for me: All the new players that I like winding up on Rachel's team. UGH.
  21. Prediction: As soon as we see two of Rachel's Angels evicted, the tears will flow: "Nobody likes me!" It'll all be about her. Er......the NON-tears will flow, I should say.
  22. Rachel mentoring: "At this point in the game, it will seem like you're about to be kicked off, but Pandora's Box will save you, because you're with me. Also, pretzels are your friends." Dan mentoring: "On day one, make friends with someone who is clearly overplaying his hand. Also, when you play Houseguest Russian Roulette, don't worry about whether the world is snickering at the idea. And hey, Judas was not such a bad guy." Mike Boogie mentoring: "Try to slide through the entire game on the coat-tails of the best player in the house." Janelle mentoring: "God I'm beautiful."
  23. So assuming the mentors rumor is true: * We can assume that someone from Rachel's team gets to determine the order that they play in Head of Household comp. * The "game changing shocker" is that a Golden Power of Veto is given to Rachel to award to the player of her choice. * Someone will be offered Pandora's Box immediately, but if they open it, Rachel gets to also play in the game.
