Actually they couldn't because he was safe for three weeks. Cody tried, see what that got him!

yea but again had Jess put Paul up in Ramses place...Josh would probably have gone home, but it is also possible that the HGs would have seen their opportunity...they really can not be that blind, dumb, unaware, and deluded...

Josh would have gone home, but her goal of re-establishing herself with the group would have been destroyed.

Josh would have gone home and not been HOH and not evicted her ass...and how she would have been seen by the group...well that never changed ever did it...but it might were anyone to actually notice...and they might eventually...that Paul is doing what he is doing.

    OMG, it was a JOKE.

I have great relationships with my wonderful daughters-in-law.  In fact I'll be leaving in a few minutes to meet up with one of them.

I raised my kids the way my mom raised me.  From the moment they were born i began getting them ready to be on their own.....to leave the nest.   It was gradual, of course, and I've always let them know that I'm there as a safety net.  They now make their own choices and get the credit if they're good choices and deal with the consequences if they're not.  I give them advice when asked and otherwise keep my opinion to myself.

So, thanks for the parenting "advice", but according to my offspring, i'm good in that department.  :)

I was just going by what you said...an LOL would have let me know you were making a joke...how we think about escorting is all socially derived...and the reason women do it is too. Most people do not think about that.

In my opinion, the problem wasn't saving him, the problem would be in picking a replacement. When you are on the bottom, it is kinda hard to say "I trust y'all" but you replace the pawn. That is a dead give away that you do not trust the group that you are trying to work your back into.

    Paul as a replacement...DUH

I like Cody. He could do MUCH better. MUCH. One stiff wind and all her false parts will clow off leaving a tennis ball with legs.

tennis balls are fuzzy...apparently you are not up on the common fad of removing all fur bowing to a concept of cleanliness disguising the reality of an underlying subconscious preference for pre-pubescent sexual partners

Maybe it wouldn't have flipped, but it was still worth a try.  She had nothing to lose by hearing Josh out, but she let her personal feelings stop her from doing so.  She gave up.  She conceded the game.  I would expect more from someone who proclaimed to love the game.  And Cody said his favorite player was Dan Gheesling.  Obviously he forgot about Dan's epic game play.  Never give up.

yes...and was Dan the one who engineered that fantastic scenario ...I forget what it was all about...but there was one player who came up with a story that absolutely turned the house...I'd love to watch that piece of mastery again...he deserved to win for that.

You are right!  He said someone else would have to nom her, if my memory serves me correctly...

Yeah, we really don't have an opening for an escort in our family either.

You folks are going to be in-laws from hell...and with a little gumption from your offspring will lose all connection with them and your gkids...advice and guidance are one thing, but when a choice is made...letting people work things out for themselves is reality...and in the case of kids, is more likely to allow them to see for themselves instead of resisting you.

I would prefer a season of all returning players. I find it hard for myself to give the new players a chance when some of my favorites come back.

Interesting they are all on a level field for me...i'm not invested in any of them...although some will make me like them by who they are...like Ramses ...I simply liked him...so was sad to see him go so wastefully of Jess' wishes and all her fault too.

  9. Josh only seemed irrational at first, but when he was trying to tell Jess that he really wanted to get rid of Elena, he seemed sane. He responded to the spelling quiz completely rationally citing his college and business...but then allows Paul to instigate the spell eviction...and back to pan banging. I think he is trying to maintain a crazy presence in order to retain interest in him from production to keep him in the game...it seems like the whole thing is more manipulated than we know from the glaring oddity of this person...or else he is simply some sort of stereotype of the emotional Latin temperament.

Yes she did.  But if she had just stopped for a minute and listened when Josh wanted to talk to her and if Cody hadn't butted in at that moment and if Josh hadn't been so worried about being overheard saying she wasn't his target, she might have stood a slim chance of turning things around and Josh getting his way with Elena out the door.  But that's a lot of ifs and shoulda, woulda, coulda now.

I hate movies that run the plot based on the characters not saying some essential truth that causes all the misunderstanding and drama to continue. Yet here we have seen that thrice now at least in BB...Jess had a temptation and she was eager to let Paul know what it was, but he would not ask...and then Josh wanted Elena out but neither Jess nor Cody would let him tell them. And it seems no one is noticing that Kevin really wanted to align with them...yet he made the mistake of including Paul in his line up...and yet if Jody had bothered to let him know that Paul in being in his list made the list unworkable...he probably would have recanted it...such a group of idiots...ugh.

Maybe someone will actually grow a set and pick off Paul.  I think once he is gone, it might (and I stress might) get better and we could see some actual game play.  One can only hope.  If they all continue to let Paul play their games, well then, maybe he should win. *sigh*

    yea should...sigh...

Sure, all that is true but still shouldn't get them a free pass.  What guy likes to have a conversation and be pounded on 3-4 times a day by a gal who just wants to make a point or emphasize her statements.   I may not be a guy but I sure as hell wouldn't stand for it.  But then I'm thinking with a big head and not the "little" head.  :D

Remember when you were in grade school and some guy bothered you and your parent told you it meant he liked you and wanted to get your attention? Well when a woman does that...I suspect the guy feels she is liking on him and trying to get his attn
