  1. I like Donny as a person and he is good at comps and a smart guy but he wants to win Big Brother on being nice.

The girls try to talk game with him and he says he doesn't want to talk game. He just listens and observes but has not tried to insert himself in any alliances and tried to form any. Derrick tried to get him motivated but he preferred to just stand back and watch the game and win comps when needed.

He has waited too long and it might be too late to get in the game now.

Being the nice guy also puts a big target on your back because as Frankie has told people you don't want him in jury because he will be America's Favorite.

It is 7:15 am BB time and Amber and Brittney still up talking. They are talking about who they would like in the jury.

Can't we vote for any of the 16 as America's Favorite Player?

  2. OK starting this out by saying I think Donny has a good heart and is probably a person anyone would love outside the house.

Following Big Brother on Facebook and other places there is a strong following of Donny. He is the Elissa of this year.

Anyone that does not treat him with total kindness in the game is disliked and the Donny fans are furious.

He has a huge huge fan base.

Houseguests are playing the game for themselves to win the money. The houseguests are not required to love and protect Donny.

    just sayin

If Donny has a huge fan base it is because he is Donny. Elissa had a huge fan base because she was Rachael's sister. ....big difference

  3. Are the monitors in the HoH room tuned to the same feeds that subscribers buy, and do they get their feeds turned off when we do?

I've always had the impression that the HOHR TV only gets 3 static views. One is a long shot of the KT/DT, the second displays the LR (couches and two nominee chairs) and the third displays the upstairs walkway from the stairs to the HOHR door.

  4. I know Morty's was having some work done on the site....

Any reason that there are so few posts the past few days ?

(my New Content key still isn't working for me either)

Yesterday Morty posted on the home page:

"Our TVFanForums are still off line to anyone without Live Feed Updater (LFU) status. For some reason the server is running in slow motion and tech support at that hosting company can't find out why. This weekend if the situation is not resolved we'll move the forums to a different company. Sorry for the inconvenience."

  5. I've been having prob's with the feeds. They are on for a while

and then the main screen goes black with an apology from CBS and

the content has not started yet. CBS says they are aware of the

    problem and fixing it.

I can get the feeds on my laptop thru Explorer but no other browser.

Any advice from you tech people would be helpful.

I have reloaded, refreshed, cleaned the drive, cleared cache and cookies....nothing helps.

I've had the same problems and have tried the same fixes as you have 6Borders. When I've clicked on the "Help" link on the black screen it's a link to CBS Sports Customer Help and I get a message from my ISP that it's not a valid URL. Last week when I was having problems I also connected with my laptop (both laptop and desk top running W7 and using FireFox). At times they would both be ok, then one would be ok and the other would stall and vise versa. So it's a mystery to me. I seem to have fewer problems in the evenings which fortunately is when I usually connect to the feeds.

I recall in past years there being a Tech Help Chat Room but I'm not finding one this year.

  6. Worst twist ever. Time-consuming and dumb. Just play the game and forget the twists and forget involving america in the game until it is time to pick a winner and then let america have a vote. Grodner and Meehan coming-up with a twist is like Will Farrell performing brain surgery through the nose which can be done but not by Will Farrell.

A lot of the twists come from other versions of BB. For example: the "America's Player" type twist was first used in the British version of BB.

  7. If each HOH person gets to pick 2 HGs to be on the block... and then when 1 of those teams wins the competition against the other - and is not in jeopardy any more...

HOW will this put the ousted HOH person in jeopardy that week ?

Sorry... can't think of any other way to explain this block I've got about this....

I don't fully understand it either. But assuming the POV comp comes after the Battle of the Block comp and the POV winner used the POV, then I guess the ousted HOH could be nominated.

  8. He's one of the few who are probably just there to experience BB. So many of the others IMO are there because they think it will boost/start their career. Frankie wants what his sister has. Caleb wants some kind of fame, maybe hoping for his own hunting show. Jocasta most likely trying to become a Joel Olsteen. Paola pushing her DJ career (have to wonder how many times she will mention she is a rare woman DJ). Hayden...not sure what he is trying for but he has some YouTube videos of him screeching out some kind of heavy metal stuff. And then there are the models.

I'll bet that Donny doesn't even have an agent! :grin2:

  9. Feeds are back . . . Spencer says that he's depressed . . . sounds like Andy won part 2

The comp was like a rock climbing wall. They had to take a picture of an evicted HG and climb up the wall one at a time and put them in the order of eviction. Spencer and Andy both say it was the hardest comp so far. GM (with her broken toe, stitches, etc.) wishes BB would let her in the back yard to climb the wall just once before they take it down.
