When people are selected for the show, most are selected for their personality flaws, not because they are best 16 players that could be found of 1000s and 1000s of people, in fact, some like GM, are selected because they have very bad BB skills, thus will be very unpredictable in how they play BB. GM will unlikely ever vote in a manner that's in her own self interest to win, she's the type that wants to have a 3 month summer party, get drunk as often as possible (and have sex)... Ever see Cheri Oteri do a bimbo cheer leader on SNL?, they look and act like twins.

Why did Spencer turn on his own Alliance?

Can someone explain what caused him to turn on Nick and vote him out? I was shocked when I heard Spencer say Nick name. I thought he was 100% behind Nick. I never saw it coming, and clearly neither did Nick.

Possible that Chen won't push the issue, but she has in the past addressed evicted HGs for their controversal behavior and ask them to explain themselves. Chen is unlikely to make it personal.

On BB after dark this bimbo is trying to justify her racist remarks as being trivial and justified. "I am not a racist, anyone who thinks I am racist is lying because I only tell people the truth, and if they can't handle it, that's their problem. So what if I said some things about Helen, they are all true, she got slanted eyes and cooks rice, BFD, all chinks do"

The difference is that I never use such terms to describe the HGs as my personal view, I don't talk like that, but I will occasionally use offensive terms when referencing the HGs in what they say\do within the house.

You bet calling a woman a cunt is very offensive, which would be the point of calling a racist girl a cunt, rather than some group hug where everyone pretends to agree not to use the words fag, nigger, or chink. Overall the gist of what you be hinting at is that Aayrn is more of victim than a racist, or your saying what she has been doing\saying is just game play. If she was being racist as a game play strategy, I would be on her side saying that its OK to be racist as a strategy within the BB house (It would be a bad strategy), which is why I do not want CBS to put a gag on the HGs so they have to say please\thank you, and never do anything that might upset anyone else.. However, Aryann and her KKK friends in the house, aren't using it as strategy, they simply are dumb ass racists people, and very bad at playing BB.

Yes, it very probable. IMHO, she has not been a very good BB player so far. If she makes it past this week is won't because of her game play, it will be because other HGs evict a someone who is preceived as a long term threat to win. I'd keep her around because currently is no big thread to anyone.

One thing I don't want CBS or the producer to do is to put a stop to it. If HGs are racist let them be that way, and get evicted because of it. If CBS says "You can't make racist or homophobic comments", then it simply helps the racists a-holes because they are forced to suppress personality traits that would get them evicted sooner. A rule against racist behavior doesn't help those in the house who are decent because they don't need such a rule, it only helps the HG jerks becaus there would a be racist rule that requires them to be be less of a jerk than they would be otherwise.

I agree. Its one thing to have a isolated comveration where some controversy is hashed out among the HG, then they move on no longer dwelling on it. But Miss KKK continually makes racist and homophobic comments every day about other HGs she does not like.... Its OK for her not to like Helen and bash her all day long, but the way she does it is racist. instead of saying typical BB non-racist trash talk like "I hate that bitch, she makes me want to puke, we need to get her f'ing ugly ass out of house ASAP" she says something like "I hate that chink bitch, her slantee eyes are super creepy, we need to ship her back to china where she belongs"

How did those shots make it onto the feed? The feeds are on a several second delay so they can cut to the fish when nudity is out of line. Personally don't care, just surprised those shots made it onto the feed.

But to be sure, that would be a obvious violation of the rules because its something that would impact the health\hygiene of other HGs, akin to spitting into someone's food or other hidden acts that might seem like a prank, but are 100% unacceptable; a HG would be at high risk of being immediately expelled.

I don't see him like Evil Dick at all. Evil dick might get in a person face, but it was never personal, it was always about the game. Maybe he did a few times, but he always let it go very quickly so it does not cause any long term harm with other HGs. ED might tell someone to FO, but he nearly always talked it out later with the HG when things calmed down. This A-hole (Jeremy) takes things way to personal and can't separate the game from his personal feelings about other HGs, and it will be his downfall. He is out to get Elissa, not for game reasons, he wants to evict her because he doesn't like her. That is very bad game play, and everyone who plays like that ends up being evicted because they want others to fail more than they want to win.

I think Julie Chen makes a good point that the racist comments were shown in context of the game, meaning that other players were becoming aware of racist remarks\behavior and objected to it (just like a lot people). The clips weren't show outn of context. There was no racist comments made where Helen is screaming back calling Aaryn names or making threats, and producers did edit the clips just to show Aaryn as a racist bimbo. Sometimes the producers do edit the show in ways that highlights silly moments and funny character flaws, but never to create an harmful image of someone. I remember when showed Rachel constantly crying in the DR, it was so very funny. (and I think she was hamming it up for the cameras).

My perception is that she meant that racism was more tolerated than it is today, Example would be back in the 50's in the south, the general public thought it was OK to have segregation laws that required blacks to sit at the back of the bus (or be forced to stand if a white person wanted their seat). Today, if someone has that same opinion, they are considered to be a racist person, but that was not the case in the 1950s.

The handler's job is not to advise them on what to do or say, they aren't BB strategy consultants. A handler is a contact person that can provide very limited amount of assistance when the HG has question about the rules, needs something, or when the show producers need to inform HG of something. The handler would likely be the person to warn a HG in the DR when a rule has been broken. So far, saying or doing racist things is not against the rules (maybe they will change that, but I hope not), so there is no reason for a handler to even bring up the subject of racist behavior. It would be totally unfair to have individual handlers provide advice on how to play BB because handlers know what we know (even more than we know), so they could provide insider advice based on what other HGs are secretly planning\said\done.

What you say makes sense in the context what people do privately among mixed good friends who understand and respect each other, and know where the personal boundaries are. What these HGs are doing is behind the back of others with very cruel\mean intentions. What you described with your roommates was not like that at all, so there is a huge difference. CBS was valid in showing that what was happening wasn't just friends razing each other as friends do, and friends know how to pull their punches so not to go too far. Or if they do go too far, they backup, and apologize for it. I'm betting your roomates would object if a stranger used the word nigger to describe all blacks in a racist way, rather than in a friendly way that it can be used even in a mixed setting among friends.

Befriending Elissa does make some sense, or at least it's a rationalization to hate her for being Asian.

Not at the moment (or vaguely remember he might have won that mid season version of BB). I think its safe to conclude that no winner has 100% of the audience behind them, and there will at least 10% who truly hates every winner. The goal of the producers is to get popular player to the end. I will concede that even shows like Survivor have had a couple of seasons that were busted and the producers failed in casting\producing the season in such a manner that a popular player makes it to the end.

True to some degree, but generally floaters aren't targeted with such hate and not so early in the game. I have yet to see Hellen say\do anything that would evoke such constant bashing. Aaryn seem to go out of her way to mock Hellen, and I have yet to see Hellen even trash talk back. Maybe if the had a tiff over something\anything, and it got out of hand, then it might explain it. So far I have not seen anything.

I am going to politely disagree about the producers warning the HGs about their racist behavior because it gives an advantage to the racists HG. Warning them strongly suggests to racists HGs that they need to hide their true feelings, and they need to act nice and and hold back their comments. This is not fair to other HGs who do are not racists and have not offended anyone. If they cut the feeds whenever Aaryn and other jerks made racist remarks, the audience would never know about it, and we might perceive her as being much nicer because the producers are always cutting the feeds to protect her from being seen doing\saying racist things. The decent HGs would know the truth, but the producers wouldn't protect them from responding to the (hidden) racist statements. We might resent the decent HGs much more because their real behavior is unedited and not protected by the producers. Its like only seeing the second punch in a fight, it looks like the person throwing the second punch is the jerk because you didn't see the he was cold clocked by the first person.

I guess I have not watched enough of the feeds, but can someone explain why Hellen is targeted with such hate from several other HGs? I have yet to see her say\do anything that's even remotely underhanded that would cause a half dozen HGs treat her like dog crap. Yeah, its a game, so what part of her game has caused her to be targeted and hated. What is being said about her is not just game play, its true hate as if she made statements that have offended others on personal level. Has she called somebody ugly or insulted them in other ways?

^^ Every season they include Ass-holes and bitches, that is nothing new, and none of them have ever won in 15 seasons. Such jerks are added to create drama because their real lives are filled with drama. If the house was filled with decent people like Helen, they all would spend the summer being nice to each other and it would be boring to watch. They would all be best friends forced to evict one person at a time, much like musical chairs; nobody would be the bad guys.
