  1. You pretty much summed up my feelings on the matter perfectly. They need to go back to food competitions for the entire house as a whole, so they work together.
  2. I got it up and running with no problems. 1. Download & Install Adobe AIR (if you don't already have it installed). 2. Download & Install BBLite 3. Run BBLite and login to SuperPass (if the SuperPass login doesn't come up, close the program and restart it). Make sure to use the official site http://bigbrotherlite.com/ as I think that other site that links to the official site is up mainly to get people to sign up for the LIve Feeds through their referral link.
  3. I caved and bought the feeds through Morty's. I was on the fence, but I've been pushed over it now.
  4. 1. Julie Chen. In my opinion she is pretty terrible and not even really needed. Heck I like the voice from The Glass House better. The interviews she does are boring and just time fillers really as nothing interesting ever seems to get said. I wish they'd just cut her right out and use the announcer voice and really streamline the voting shows. 2. The predictability of the game now. They reuse competitions and ideas over and over (as well as houseguests at times). The problem is for the vast majority of what will happen in the house, everyone going in already knows what lays ahead. They all sit around practicing for competitions and it's quite boring. Having some legitimate new competitions and ideas would really liven things up I think. 3. FOTH. The live feeds cut away way too much. I know there are reasons, but it just happens way too much. 4. Alliances and house divides. I wish there was a way to make people play more as individuals. When the house gets split in half there becomes such a predictability of what can/will happen and if the players you like are on the wrong side, well you are really out of luck. 5. Fast Forwards. It really takes something away from the game I think, plus the houseguest predict when it's coming and know all about it now.
  5. This is the official site: http://bigbrotherlite.com/. I don't get the point of the other site, since it just links back to this site.
  6. I'm back for this year, more or less. I'll do some more LFU hopefully, although when I do I tend to describe everything in so much detail I soon wonder where the time went.
  7. I think Shelly's game blew up because she was influenced in the DR to flip and keep Daniele. It wasn't like she was in any imminent danger to go out of the game at that point. At the end of the day it was still her choice to do it reguardless of what they said to her, so I think the game itself did blow up in her face. She tried to make a power move that failed just like pretty much every other power move this season. Anyways, I agree that the smarter move is to keep Jordan over Rachel because she isn't very good in competitions. It should be easier to go up against Adam and Jordan than Adam and Rachel. The reason to keep Rachel is you think she is easier to beat at jury, but you still have to get there first.
  8. The thing is, up to this point everyone has been better at the comps than Shelly. So if you think about it either side is better than her really. The problem with her move was she burned too many bridges in doing it and if her goal is to win the entire thing, securing jury votes is a part of it. Making a move to improve your position in the game is important, but I don't think she's in any better position now than she was before. She's not in very good with Porsche and Kalia really, considering they are already talking of getting rid of her if Rachel and Jordan come off the block. It would be the same scenario even without this new twist. If one of Rachel or Jordan came off the block, she'd still be a prime candidate for going up on the block. All she's accomplished is making herself a definite target from both sides now. I think the problem with your idea of a jury voting the way any other jury would vote is that it's just not possible because who played the best game is quite subjective for the most part. There is no set criteria for determining who played the best game. Anyone can use whatever criteria they want for that. Also, everyone in the house has a personal agenda of some kind and it carrying over to the jury is just part of the game. Shelly making one move that advanced her another week and shifted the power in the house, while damageing her game socially doesn't necessarily sound like great gameplay that makes her any more deserving to win. If anything, she messed up her social game badly, hasn't won any competitions and has only made one signficant move in the game to help get out a strong player. Kalia was still the one to win the HOH and put Jeff up again and Porsche was the one to win POV and make sure he didn't save himself, so Shelly for me still hasn't accomplished much to deserve to win. That is, if you are going based on gameplay, which for me, doesn't matter if people vote based on that or whatever else they want to. At the end of the day, I think the personal stuff is a part of the game, so it won't always get put behind them, at least not until the game is over. I think it just adds another element to the game, instead of it having some sort of more rigid structure for voting. I think the game already has too much predictablity as it is, so I'm hoping that never happens.
  9. That's your opinion and that's fine, but that doesn't necessarily make it true. Making a big move for the sake of making a big move is always a mistake. Daniele learned that the hard way. Shelly should have looked at the impact the move would have for her game socially. Socially she was good up to that point, aside from with Rachel. She helped Kalia and Porsche further along and got a strong player out, but didn't really put herself in that great of a position because she's still a third wheel at best and now can't play both sides of the house any longer. Anyways, there is no set criteria for how anyone should vote, they can basically do whatever they want. They can vote based on who won the most comps, who played the best social game, or anything else they want to. There's no wrong way to vote, even if it's a vote for someone else out of spite. That's what makes the game interesting, you have to look at things from all the different angles. Someones social game can have just as big an impact as anything else.
  10. I disagree about the great play for her game last night. If anything, she has very little chance of winning the game now (that is if she ever had any chance). It was a great play for Porsche and Kalia, but not Shelly. I can't see any scenario where she could win in the end against anyone. Jeff, Jordan, Rachel and Brendon are very likely to vote for whoever she's up against at the end. Best case scenario she is 3 votes in the hole at the end if Rachel or Jordan somehow make it to the final 2 and then the rest will have a decision to make.
  11. Yeah I don't get that either. They also like to cut away from something I'm interested in watching, like a group of people talking to someone blow drying their hair, or someone on their own.
  12. Unfortunately you can't. It's credit card only.
