  1. I'm not suggesting I don't want a jury. I do want a jury to vote on the winner. What I don't understand is why all players volunteer to sit on the jury. But as Janis pointed out, CBS threatens them with taking away all the money they've earned up to that point if they don't go to the jury. Personally, I'd like a jury consisting of mostly players, plus 1 or 2 "America votes" ballets. But perhaps that would just give the producers more ways to abuse and fake the results, so maybe it's not a good thing to go with "America votes" results (too easily faked). If voting was done by an independent firm, that might work, but CBS would never give up control of that.
  2. That makes sense, I guess. I'm not sure it would be enforceable in court to deny a player all pay if they refuse to go to the jury, but CBS has bigger pockets to fight it that any player, so the threat is likely enough. But yeah, I'd certainly want to go home before reaching the jury, if I had little chance to win the game. Maybe that's why some players self-destruct and get themselves either voted out or thrown out.
  3. Who knows? The kid is a whack-o. Half the stuff he sees is in his mind. And Jenn is an egomaniac with a chip on her shoulder. She probably feels everyone owes her an apology for something.
  4. Least fav, Dan. (He's a con-man, and really good at it. He'd rob your grandmother blind.) Most fav, Ian. (Best of a bad bunch. Yes, he's creepy, weird, and psycho. But maybe $500K will stop him growing up to be a serial killer. He clearly could use the money more than the rest of the spoiled bunch.)
  5. Probably told her the truth about what she looks like?
  6. I don't understand why everyone goes to the jury. I can understand some of them (the homeless ones, or the criminals, etc. that BB seems to cast a few of). But I don't understand why the middle-class ones with a job would go sit in the jury. BB can't make them. They must be getting paid pretty well to do it, because they have no chance at the $500K any longer. They're still pretty-much cut off from the outside world, so it's basically a nice jail. Why would they put up with it for more than a few days, without a good salary to do it? Anyone know what they're getting paid to sit in the jury house? I suppose if you're popular, like Jeff/Jordan or Rachel/Brandon, you get a shot at doing The Amazing Race. But most have to know they're never going to get a shot at another show, because they're dull.
  7. I don't think Dan has ever thrown a comp that he had any chance of winning in the first place. He's really quite useless at the comps. He just brags that he's throwing them. Sure, he's thrown some, but he had no chance to win those anyway. It's a bit like picking up your ball and going home.
  8. So what? How much extra do they pay her to stay in jury, which is essentially just a nice prison? Once you have no chance of winning the $500K, why do people bother to stay in the jury? They must pay a pretty good salary for them to stick around.
  9. Yeah, unfortunately, like most seasons, it's getting down to the "who do you hate the least" part of the game. So far, that's Brit and Ian for me. I don't really want a "coach" to win though, because the producers lied and changed the game to put them in there.
  10. I'm not sure $50K is worth being sentenced to prison for 3 months, with your entire life video'd and displayed to the public forever. If any of the players is not playing to win, they're pathetic.
  11. Yeah, she's certainly one of the more gross players BB has cast. Other than her disgusting tatoos, I don't see what she has added to the game. Get rid of her.
  12. Yeah, he's the loud-mouthed idiot of the game. He won't win it, so I don't mind him sticking around to play his role in the meantime.
  13. While I don't want Frank to win, I do think he deserves it more than anyone else at this time. He's been a target for weeks, and is a survivor. Now that Booger is gone, I don't dislike Frank nearly as much. So, it's okay with me if he wins it.
  14. I'm still rooting for Ian, but he clearly does have some psychological problems. Is he on medication? If not, he should be. And yeah, he's been creepy since day 1. I overlook look that, because I like to root for the underdog. And out of everyone there, he needs the money the most.
  15. I feel sorry for Danielle. She's hot, but clearly has the emotional and intellectual capacity of a child. I was hoping she'd make it far in the game (something nice to look at), but I hope she's outta here this week.
  16. Dan reminds me of a really good con-man. Someone that weasels old ladies out of their life savings, and yet leaves them feeling like he's still a good guy even after they find out.
  17. EDITED for flaming: I think Danielle's hot. My vote to win the game. (Although I strongly doubt she will.)
  18. Once they get rid of all the hot girls, is there any point in watching?
  19. Can't CBS find any other egotistical nut-jobs that aren't a Hantz? When he was introduced as a Hantz, I figured he wouldn't last long. But I thought he'd be evicted early, not suicide himself out of the game. He's even more of a nut than I figured.
  20. Glad to see Jordon go. She's seems nice enough, but totally undeserving of any win. Any of the remaining players deserve the win; each played a different way, but all were deserving of making it to the final 3. I'd like Rachael to win, but Adam or Porsche are fine too. I think this is the first season in a long time where I'm happy with any of the final 3 winning. Maybe BB manipulated a good win, but it was a good season to watch. I hope Rachael dumps Brendon. She's a way better person without him.
  21. I think she's just a compulsive liar. Probably like that in real life, too. She might even believe half the lies she spews. In any case, it's a really stupid way to play the game. If you always lie about everything, nobody's going to believe you when you really need a lie to work. She lies so much, she can't keep them all straight in her head, and is getting caught on so many. Worthless player. Probably worthless human being, too. Maybe those death threats to her family will cause her to rethink the way she behaves. Then again, probably not.
  22. I couldn't care less who Shelly is allied with. But she has shown herself to be an extreme hypocrite, and an extreme bitch. She's scum. She's a lying, cheating, white-trash dirtbag. That has nothing to do with who she allied with, it has everything to do with her character. God help her child. That poor kid has an uphill battle growing up, with that kind of poor role model.
  23. Anyone who think Haggie is "unbelieveably hot" has some serious sexuality issues. Perhaps he'd be better lusting after Beau.
