I'm trying to recall Cody's behavior.  I remember him capitalizing on what's-her-name's crush on him, but I just don't think he was as big an a s s as Paulie is.

Agree about Zakiyah.  I hope she gets some counseling or something.  No woman should put up with that type of treatment.  JMO

Cody also was a pig.  But as  you said, not as much a pig as Paulie.  Any man who would allow a married women to constantly be hanging all over him like that also has no respect for women.

What will happen to Z when Paulie dumps her on her butt after this is over.  Very sad because Z is a beautiful woman and could get any man she wanted.  But like many she is drawn to this user.  She will be crushed because he has no plan to stay with her.  Da has tried to tell her but to no avail.

Make it 3.  She's complete trash.  Paulie's an a-hole, but Da is even worse. And the comment about what a bad example she's setting for her child is bang on. What's she doing spending multiple summers away from her kid anyway?

Do you feel it is classy the way the guys all (except Corey and James) spoke about women, degrading them, comments re sex acts and constantly cursing.  This season we saw the most classless, vulgar, degrading men ever.  It seems Paul, especially, but also Victor and pig Paulie would constantly compete to be the biggest a--h---.  And they all win that title.  Who raised those guys?  Seems they have no respect for women nor do they have a filter re what they should say, especially on national.  It sickens me that their actions and words were all there for young people to watch and probably imitate.

Re Da's leaving her child all summer,  something I wouldn't do but there is that possibility to win 1/2 million dollars.  That would have been a great beginning for that baby.  Certainly set Da and that baby up for a better life.  Why haven't you mentioned the guys leaving their kids?  Derrick has 2 children and certainly others have left their kids also.  But women are always held to a different standard.

Other than Da's outspokenness what other issues re Da cause you to say that she is worse than pig Paulie? What do you think re Frank's patting Da's butt and calling her degrading names?  I feel Da did exactly what had to be done re Frank's often typical male actions.  She called him out on it and was very hurt.  As most women would be, but once again,  a man who feels women are their for his enjoyment, simple play things waiting to be used and abused.

Wondering how you feel re Paul's position presently.

Damn, momma Da went total ghetto on Paulie last night. Sorry sweetie if you think you got class but you don't. A classy person would not get up in somebody's face and start finger wagging and hurling insults.

I loved it !!  Somebody must put arrogant user Paulie in his place.  IMO that confrontation was between equals.  Rather than quietly stating her feelings, like most women do,  she did what Paulie has done many times, full blown attack.  He got closer, she got even closer to him and finally standing over him.  Classless?!  In my opinion actions that were needed to not allow him to win over another woman, which seems to be his character.

Funny to me that 2 men posting here  today refer to Da as classless.

Looks like Paul & Nicole have ganged up totally on James. No, he hasn't done much this game, but they really don't have to be so mean about it. Don't they realize he's going to see this later & feel like crap?

Wow,  Nicolle said James if 'dirty'?!  What a b----.  And James has been committed to her throughout.  That is James huge mistake, always committed to those who aren't committed to him.  And it is so painful to hear him wanting to renew with Natalie.  OMG.  Truthfully I am so disappointed that he is considering returning to a relationship with her.  But we know that persons who are being abused, in some strange way, usually love their abusers.

If Paul and Nic end up F2 that would be 2 of most disliked players up together.  I highly doubt that Paul could win against either Nic or James.

Will miss Vic. He sure fought like hell to play in this game. Plus he was nice eye candy and I often forget his age. Oops. Lol

If they ever have vets come back I hope he's on the list. All around good guy IMO & had he just shut up about winning comps could have gone further. Oh well.  They all have to go at some. ;)

You always make me laugh !!

From your words to God's ears.... James was my fav... but for sure seems to have just given up.  Gnat must have really done a number on him.

My thoughts exactly.  You can even see in his face how sad he is.  Yes James made that huge mistake protecting a woman he was infatuated with and definitely screwed up.  But as we know he is all heart and when you are led by emotion rather than being in control mentally you are too often taken advantage of.  (Been there, done that)  And in case of $500,000 payout an expensive lesson to learn.  I think he can hardly get out of a bed and can't wait to get the heck out of there.

If only........something 'unexpected'  would happen tonight.    If only it could just be Nic and James.

  7. When do they have AFP or is the poll they are taking intended for AFP?   Great to see that this week our James is out in front.  Now that (UGH!) Paul won POV seems most likely James wont make it to F2.  Please,  no win for Paul.  My worst nightmare.  Would any in Jury vote for Paul except Paulie and that girl he has wrapped around his finger?  (Z you are in for a huge letdown)

Season 6... My favorite also.  LOVED Janelle and Kaysar.  I wish they would have been F2.  Am I the oldest, or does anyone else remember when the HOH was down stairs... you know, one story???  Things have gotten way too predictable.  (Except what we may be seeing these next 9 or so days)...  I really wish they would shake things up.  I made a suggestion a while back about an all girls, or an all guys cast... but we'll see.  Another poster had a GREAT idea of America voting on Punishment Packages instead of care packages.  (I'm sorry, I can not recall who came up with that, but excellent in my opinion.).

These 20 somethings, I am guessing, never even saw the first few seasons.  Heck, they were probably babies.  I would love the idea also of putting more cast members in, and give America a vote also, just to keep them guessing.

Does anyone also remember when America voted on who to send out, or am I just THAT old????

Wow,  America was able to vote who goes out?!!  Love that.  Bring that back.

My daughter was raised in sports and the Boys and Girls Club where I was a leader of the teenage group. We did fundraisers all the time. I taught my daughter the value of being a volunteer and give back to others at a very young age. Keep them busy. Lead by example and your odds are so much better.

My daughter did not get to go to college but she has worked her way up to an upper level job and does really well financially.

It seems that maybe Meech and Paul and a few others were spoiled.

I see good parenting with Nicole and Corey.

James I don't know the story about his parents except he was adopted. Not sure where they are now in his life. He seems to put a lot of value on respect.

Agree with you on all counts.  Seems many millionaires did not go to college.  Success depends on how much effort you are willing to expend and a little luck.

OMG....I have a nephew like that too...on the east coast.  It's everywhere with that generation and no idea how it got that way.  Terrible.  I have a son and daughter and working very hard for that not to happen in my house.  sometimes no matter what you do, some things just happen.  But I have not given up.

I think some of these parents that this happens to are the "not my kid" thing.

Also, the whole everyone gets a trophy in sports is the wrong message.  Winning is important, don't pretend it is not.  You have to learn to work hard for things, not just have handed to you.  No one let's their kids fail anymore.  Too many parents make threats or favors and such so that their kid gets to be in something they probably shouldn't be.  Failure is going to happen, learn to deal with it and try harder next time.

You mention your children.  I have 2 adult children and 3 grandkids.  IMO the thing that helped my kids and now grandkids to develop into successful, productive, respectful adults is to keep them active in sports.  It takes a lot of time and often money as parents are always running someone to a practice somewhere.  Also my daughter, in addition to sports, was in the band.  Both kids put themselves thru college and one also law school.  My grandkids all play basketball.

In sports and other school activities they usually have wonderful strong role models and those activities keep them out of trouble and their minds busy and directed on good things.  AND they were trained to try to win.  Yes, I agree, trying to win and be your best is crucial for child's development.

Sounds like you children will do great in life.

If Nicole makes it to F2, the only reason she will not win is because of a mostly woman/jealous jury.  I am a woman, and I know how catty women can be.  Any day of the week I would rather have men around me, because they (well, most of them) do not hold on to petty gripes like women do.  Sad really, when most of them claim to want to se a woman win this year.  But in a nutshell, they only want themselves to have won.  Hypocrites to the end.  Especially nasty Meech, Gnat and Bridge.  Will be funny to see the votes IF Nic is in F2...

Isn't it so sad that most women are so catty.  Why can't women be joyful and supportive of other women's success.  I don't understand it.

Let's hope BB gets some kick a-- women next season.   That would be fun.

Oh my description of him getting on BB because he thought it was a line for a party stands.

However, when I say Genius it's loosely used when aimed at BB.

His is mom told him to remember to visualize. I'm guessing she taught him helpful goal practices growing up  Listening to him talk when alone, which is rare, you can get an idea of his thought process. It's clear and you can tell there's more processing going on. Well as clear as game talk can be when looking at moves.

A good example is when Paul talks game to us or just talks to us. It's cluttered and desperate. Well and lots of ego.

I'm sure Nic always game talking helped but her talk is often so much repeat and ramble.  I zone out. I can't imagine listening to that so much.

As I think of Derrick and his game play of seemingly weak, no conflicts, almost cowering when talking to others, subtle nudging others to make choices re who to put on block, I can see that staying in background, not making waves, trying not to make enemies is the key.  And when I read that it is best not to win cops til week 8, well that helped me to understand the game strategy.  And when we think of those evicted most all did just the opposite.

I think we agree that if Corey did have game strategy of staying in background, holding back on comps til the end then he played it brilliantly.  If it was a fluke and he just happened to come forward now then he got lucky.

But like many, I want James to win !!  BTW,  I just saw that popularity poll re favorite or most popular houseguest.  UGH,  Nicole beat James last week.  Does that poll have anything to do with AFP ?  If so all James fans better go vote for our guy.  Even if it has nothing to do with AFP would be good to vote.

One thing re Corey is very clear to me re his love of family and very positive comments from family,  he comes from very special parents and family who stress such positive uplifting comments.  In one note his dad said 'be kind and humble', and mom 'visualize'.  Wow, that says a lot re their family.  Seems like very great home life.    Wasn't sure that would produce strong game player but Corey now is doing very well.

I am a new poster and have a question.  It looks like the HGs can post on their Twitter accounts.  I was just reading some of Nicole's and they are dated during the summer months while they are in the house.  I don't really know anything about Twitter but I thought the HGs couldn't have any contact with the outside world.  Thanks.

I also thought no contact outside house.

I'm starting to think he really is a secret genius & I wish he showed this side sooner but then again that wouldn't be a secret genius move. Lol!

You may have pointed out great game play if true.  And, yes, that would be genius.  Presently seems to be he is taking the reigns and calming Nic and playing a fearless game.  If in fact he was a hidden genius and has been playing the part of Dumb as a rock 'bro club' kind of guy then that would be brilliant and greatest game play I have ever seen in my 3 years as a viewer of BB.  Getting exciting !!

Well, well, like any good snake it knows when to curl around its prey, hang on till it's ready to strike and eat...LOL  Hats off Nicole hope you and James make F2!!  Toss up who I want to win, but think I'm leaning more towards James.

Yes,  James for a win would make most of us happy.   Love that guy !

And so,  Nic won veto.  So Vic will be gone.  Then Paul will be weaker.  So if Corey or Nic win HOH then Paul and James up.  Then Paul goes.  What do you think Nic would do re James and Corey?  Certainly she will want Corey.   She desperately wants love and marriage.  (good luck with that one)

If by some miracle James wins HOH up goes Paul and Corey.  Paul will be out.

If Paul wins then James and Corey, with Corey out.  That outcome would be interesting.  Wonder what would happen if Paul, James, and Nic were together to fight it out?

People have done some pretty stupid stuff over the years. Cody took Derrick and gave away $450,000. There was also the idiot that took Dick and his daughter to the F3 with him. Frankly, I think if she was faced with that choice, she would take Corey because she is in love and she believes that they will be together for a long time.

That would be so sad.  But hey say love is blind.

I know I am in the minority here, but I think Nicole will be a sure winner if she makes F2

Yes, i realize all the girls were against her...But Day is starting to come to her side.  Everyone said get Nicole out, but she is still there.  I think if she makes it to F2, they will respect her gameplay to get her there and give her the votes.

Mike  you don't know women.  They often turn on one another, sadly.

Last year I thought Nic was cute and quirky.  But this year anything that was said to her or that she overheard she would immediately run to tell Paulie.  And did so all the time.  She seemed very different to me.  I don't care for her this year.  But they aren't there to make friends.

  18. 20 hours ago, joystiick said:

If I had to rank the player's chances of winning, as of this moment in time:

    1. Corey - Decent number of wins and he hasn't pissed anyone off.

    2. James - Very likable and enough of the jury admire his low-key game for him to get the five votes for the win.

    3. Paul or Vic - If they get there together (doubtful), Vic would win. If Vic makes it to F2, his opponent really needs to hammer the fact that Vic had 3 chances. It will have an impact with the vets.

    5. Nicole - I really think that Nicole has an uphill battle with the other girls. She could pull out a win, but, I think most of the women will be looking for a reason to vote against her. If she and Corey is in F3, and she has the chance to decide the F2, will she concede the victory to her showmance Corey or will she go for the win and vote Corey out?

Re if Nic wins.  I don't think she would be that stupid.  Half a million dollars?  What that could do for her and her family in Ubley.  Could you imagine if she stepped aside to give win to Corey?  Her family might never allow her back in the house.  But we have seen many strange things happen on BB.

  19. 41 minutes ago, BBLover4ever said:

Well well, who'd thunk it lol. Corey is starting to win comps. Guess he won't be called a floater now. He has really come through for Nicole lately.

    James is still my fav.

Yes,  amazing how suddenly he pops up and starts winning.  Maybe those who believed he was smarter than many of us thought were right.

  20. 16 hours ago, straykat said:

Nicole is afraid that Paul is going to verbally attack her, which he probably will. He will not go after Corey in the same way because he knows Corey would not put up with Paul yelling at him.

If only Nic, C and J would laugh in Paul's face then walk away.  Imagine what a terror he was as a child.  And probably still is at home.  Someone created a monster.

it is her face  that shows up next to the definition of too-faced in the dictionary - first her then Paul - they are, in that way, very alike -

They both definitely can get a read on people and do have strategic thinking.  Those are the only 2 good qualities IMO.  On the negative side they both cut to the quick and are viscous, unrelenting, verbally assaulting, cruel, and yes can change so quickly into nice when needed.  (not sure how to spell viscous or viscious?)  Wondering what a psychiatric diagnosis would be for that personality type.
