  1. I don't think they'll fix it. It serves the storyline they have been cultivating to leave it the way it is, even though he clearly broke the rules (verified by KC, JC, Scotty, Liz and @realvegas4sure). I'm actually considering ditching the show, too. I HATE the fakeness of WWE, and this has brought into focus that I've been putting up with the same thing on Big Brother even though I knew in the back of my mind it's the same thing. It's just SO BLATANT with this rules violation. The fact that this became the #1 thread for the year for views in BB20 General discussion in just 3 days says a lot about the level of interest in this excused cheating by production.
  2. There's big money on the line for WWE wrestling, too. That's completely scripted/rigged. The FCC ruled that Big Brother is "for entertainment only" and in that classification it is understood that they are fixing the game and/or have already chosen the ending/winner. Completely legal, and totally allowed. Big Brother is not a competition, and it's not a contest. It's barely a game once you realize the comps are crafted to achieve the goals of production (promote favored player for the storyline they're pushing). A lot of people don't seem to know this, and I can see the Tyler Country Fair-gate thing turning people off of the show.
  3. IT IS RIGGED. The Big Brother show is entertainment (not a competition, not a contest), and as such they are legally allowed to fix the outcome however they want, just like WWE. FCC has ruled on it already, years ago. They've been doing it for years (most blatantly last year), but this particular time it's especially bad since the general public can see the rules being completely broken in a key competition and production allowing it because Tyler/Angela is their main storyline and they don't want to lose either one.
  4. 2AM -3AM BBT In the back yard, Brett coaching Scottie to stay away from Hay so much and trying to give him a shot at staying so they can make a foursome to take on Tyler and Angela because Brett is getting bad vibes on Level 654 and wants to bail. Scottie says he needs a place to go so he's open to it. They're comparing notes and stories to get a bead on what the reality of the house really is. Lots of recycled conversation, but that's the basic idea. In their idea, Brett, Scottie, Sam, and JC (2:38AM BBT) become the new power in the house. [It'll never work. It would take a miracle. - BBLurkerPlus]
  5. You have no idea what you're talking about. Just WATCH THE VIDEO IN THE SECOND POST OF THIS THREAD. KC CLEARLY says you have to keep ONE FOOT on the DISC at ALL TIMES. Watch it for yourself before you spout off more completely wrong info. And RealVegas4sure DID quote the rule in her tweet - the only rule that matters in this comp.
  6. I know that now in FOUR versions recounting the rules ALL of them say that no feet on the disc is disqualification. That's on video, there's no disputing it. KC, Scottie, JC, and Liz (BB17) all said it. Also @realvegas4sure confirmed one foot at all times has been the rule since BB17. So yeah, the evidence is pretty overwhelming just from what we DO have.
  7. They were not vague about 0 feet on the disc. All versions recounted were at LEAST one foot on the disc, or optionally two. 0 is disqualification in all scenarios.
  8. This reads like production telling Tyler and Angela to diffuse the situation by trying to push the narrative that feet off the disc is okay. JC clearly wasn't read in and keeps trying to say that, no, the rule was (and IS) that you have to keep one foot on the disc. This took place after production knew that people were posting stuff from the Sunday broadcast reinforcing that Tyler should have been DQed. I wouldn't be surprised if production was behind this.
  9. And unlike us, THEY all HEARD the rules from production directly on the PA and KNOW Tyler broke them. If Ty wins, it will never be clean. Hay will always wonder "what if". It's completely not fair and has undertones of sexism.
  10. 3 Separate rule readings from the DR agree, and they were recorded at different times. That, plus the amateurish overdub of Angela reading the rules with different audio in the middle AND the confirmation from realvegas that the rules have been at least one foot on the disc AT ALL TIMES since BB17 is PLENTY of compelling evidence.
  11. Can they do that? Yes. Will they do that? Unlikely. I think they're trying to just hope it blows over. The more people that forward this story with the CLEAR PROOF he should have been DQed to news outlets, the less chance they can get away with doing nothing.
  12. Yeah, a rewind of this week, and a DE next week, and then just watch JC for his next infraction and use that to eliminate him (he's WAY overdue - 3x grabbing Ty's crotch, tying bathroom door open while Hay using it, bajina scooping with ice-cream scooper, N-word usage as recently as last week after multiple warnings...the list goes on and on). That would fix it and be fair to Hay, who clearly won the HoH, but doesn't know it. The only thing that's certain is Tyler didn't win. Hay likely would have won. Everyone that dropped off was exhausted or sick. They wouldn't have lasted longer just because Ty dropped. Hay went 17 minutes after the last non-Ty competitor dropped. NONE of them were overcoming that.
  13. There's no legal case because this is a "for entertainment only" program where the ending can be pre-determined, despite appearances (i.e. production can make whoever they want the winner by meddling in DRs or comps): The FCC literally categorizes Big Brother as a "for entertainment only" program, “similar to professional wrestling in that it is a pseudo-contest in which the outcome is fully, or in some measure, predetermined.” This is the FCC's exact words. But yeah, this is the most blatant problem/cheat in years, and it's played out with video proof.
  14. They didn't show host reading rules on the broadcast or live feed of BB17 or BB18, AFAIK. Julie only summarized a couple rules live for BB17 (S17E29) and BB18. All we have is the houseguests referring to the rules in their DR, but they all agree, so the rule is clear. Realvegas also confirmed that's been the rule all along.
  15. I put up video from BB17 Episode 30 where Liz also states the 1 foot rule. It's definitely a thing.
  16. The live feeds weren't turned on until AFTER the competition started, so the full rule reading over the PA by production (and the "any questions" section) plus the short version by Angela were not heard on the live feeds. All we got is what Angela read (and re-dubbed) for the broadcast and the reference to the rule by KC and Scottie. The actual rule being broken WAS shown live on the feeds and captured, so CBS can't go back and erase that. They chose the second-best thing - cover up the reading of the rule about you must have 1 foot on the disc at all times. It was a bad coverup on many levels. Hay was robbed of an HoH she fought hard for and won based on the rules.
  17. 11:50AM BBT Houseguests are back from VETO and WAY too happy. Did production fix the comp problem?
  18. I can post it, if you want. Lots of complaints about EvelDick's behavior to the FCC (people were apparently more upset than I knew at the time) and the FCC keeps tiredly quoting that it's like pro wrestling legally, not a game show.
  19. Also, BTW, the FCC literally categorizes Big Brother as a "for entertainment only" program, “similar to professional wrestling in that it is a pseudo-contest in which the outcome is fully, or in some measure, predetermined.” This is the FCC's exact words. So treat the show as seriously as professional wrestling and realize production is pushing storylines and characters, rules be damned.
  20. Angela knows or suspects something is up. She read the rules that they made her re-dub the middle of later to remove the 1-foot rule. She also commented when Tyler struggled to stay on his disc when his feet slipped off for a whole half turn of the contraption. But since it benefits them, she's not saying anything. But it will be completely clear to Hay when she gets out that she was robbed (literally) of an HoH that could have changed her and Scottie's complete game by production. Exactly. I'm not even a Haleigh fan but she was clearly robbed of a hard fought win, and had to battle almost 20 minutes longer in a hard comp because of the DQ not being called on Tyler. She deserves to be given the chance she earned.
  21. It actually happened at 11:03:10PM BBT BEFORE Sam fell. Ty should have been the second person out, making Sam 3rd out. KC was out at 11:31, which would have been when Hay won if Ty was called out. Instead she had to play an extra 16 minutes and production gave the win to Ty then tried to cover up the rule violation with edits. They should do a rewind this week to fix it. Hay should not be cheated after competing in the comp so hard and Ty clearly breaking the rules. Kaycee recounting the rules that say you need to keep at least 1 foot on the disc at all times in the video below: Big Brother HoH-KC explains one foot rule.mp4 Scottie ALSO referring to the "keep one foot on the disc" rule, though he says if one foot comes off he's out. So, one foot off (Scottie recounting) or two feet off, either way, Tyler was disqualified and not called for it. Scottie-HoH-Comp-Rules-Reference-compressed.mp4 Liz from BB17 Episode 30 repeating the "1 foot on disc at all times rule" for same comp in the video below: S17E30 Disc HoH Rule repeated about 1 foot on at all times-compressed.mp4 Sunday night in the house, Angela referring to the 1 foot rule, then JC insisting that "they" said you had to keep your feet on the disc in below video. (This feels VERY MUCH like Production prompted Tyler and Angela to have this conversation for the outraged live feeders, but JC clearly didn't get the memo because he keeps insisting on the actual rules they all heard - to keep at least one foot on the disc) JC confirming the one foot rule - Sunday-9-2-18.mp4 Broadcast version of the Sunday show where it's 100% clear that Angela's audio in the middle was replaced with a reading of rules in a different sound environment. It likely replaced the 1 foot on the disc rule when production realized they had a problem of Tyler being disqualified they had to cover up. County Fair Comp Rules Sound Edit Broadcast 9-2-18.mp4 Big Brother production knows Tyler lost. They're clearly covering it up (poorly). If Ty had been out 2nd by disqualification, the competition would have ended about 20 minutes earlier when Hay was the last one standing on her disc. Big Brother owes her a rewind week to fix this. If they don't, they have openly cheated their own long-standing rule for this HoH competition.
  22. Video of Scottie's mishap with the hammock at 4:49PM BBT today. Also, after the broadcast show aired and Kaycee repeated production's rules for the country fair HoH comp, it's clear that Tyler should have been disqualified and the second person out of the comp (before Sam) when his feet were completely off the disc for 1/2 a revolution at 11:03PM BBT while he tried to regain his balance. Hayleigh actually won the comp according to the rules. Kaycee recounting the rules that say you need to keep at least 1 foot on the disc at all times... Big Brother HoH-KC explains one foot rule.mp4 Scottie ALSO referring to the "keep one foot on the disc" rule, though he says if one foot comes off he's out. 23. 1:56PM BBT KC recognizes the house brand name of some of the junk food production supplied. It's a "Smart and Final" store brand. She knows because she used to work at Smart and Final.
