When they asked Jeff if he thought Shelly voting him out was good for her game since she couldn't beat him at the end, he did admit that it was a good move for her. When Jeff was asked about Dani, he said that Dani was probably playing the best game in the house.

In this case you can't say it was "outside influence". All along Dan was hoping that America would pick Jesse because that's who Dan wanted out of the house. If AP would have picked Memphis, then that would have been "outside influence".
