The only reason we could remotely think of for the nurse vs teacher lie is being a "Maggie target by way of profession". Not sure if the HG's thought that out but it seems a lot of the viewers did.

Regarding her real life, again we can't judge what we don't know. She may be a super nurse and totally dedicated to moving up in the medical field. Obviously she has some problem (like Histronic Personality Disorder) which contributes to her lack of self esteem and constant need for attention. I do find it telling that her parents did not know she was going to apply/be on Big Brother. I can't recall the exactly comment but it was something to the effect that she would never hear the end of it or never be able to do it because they would constantly be on her case (maybe someone can bring up the quote).

As to Danielle's game play, no matter whose idea it was to backdoor Janelle and get her out or what the reason was behind it, Dani went ahead and executed the plan to use the POV and put Jani on the block. Whether or not it goes down as a greatest game move or backfires and goes down in BB history as "a Marcellas" game move, I have to give her kudos for having the guts to do something and make the big move because most of the HG's are all talk, they back-pedal and, like our cattle, follow the leaders (HG's/House) and move away from the dogs nipping their heels and in the direction the dogs (in this case production) want them to go.

On the social side of her game, it is very painful to watch her throw herself at Shane, who is clearly just playing her and trying to keep her on an even keel because he can't get a restraining order against her in the BB house. No matter how Dan and Brit have tried to gently break it to her, Dani refuses to wake up and smell the NoMance and the fact that Shane pretty much does not even want to be friends after the game.

Again, don't love or hate Brittney because it's just not worth the emotion.

I do have to say that if Brittney is still voting out Janelle tonight, her performance on After Dark last night when she was chatting it up with Janelle and assuring her she was safe earns her the GOLDEN GRODNER award for acting!

I've kinda stayed away from the forums when the whole "backdoor Janelle" plan started coming together because I knew it was going to get ugly (and apparently it has). I just wanted to add my 2 cents if I may, and again, please take this as just expressing my opinion and my point of view:

I'm not a Janelle fan or hater, because there is no point in either one. What I see is her game play caught up with her (yes, she told lies, same as everyone else) and it has caught up as it did with so many other houseguests in the past and now she is in trouble in the game. If she can talk her way out of it, sway some votes and stay great, if not, she should exit like everyone else who has been evicted by a front or backdoor.

The problem as I see it is that since she is a "BB Star" some of her fans (like any HG's fan, but this is a Jani thread) seem to think that entitles her to special treatment in the game or something, and it's fine to backdoor ie: Frank but not Jani. The same thing happened on Season 6. My (then 19 year old) son said in a chat that he would not be interested in a woman like Jani because he liked more natural women who didn't have fake boobs, hair extensions and piles of make up. The chatters basically ripped him apart, told him "this chat room is for Jani fans" (it was a CBS chatroom), that everyone who talks like that is just jealous of Jani and ugly themselves, that he better watch his back and to get out of chat or get booted out (someone who knows how did boot him out). It's sort of happening again and people who started out the season against or bashing Jani are now rallying and talking about how unfairly she was treated, etc. Again, everyone is going to see what they want to see (Jani fans think she did no wrong, Dan and Dani are evil...) and they are entitled to their opinions, but not to bash other posters.

As to the personal side of Janelle, I don't know her so I have no right to/would't judge her as a wife and mother, but personally I don't see anything from what she has said or done to indicate she is a bad or neglectful mom just because she left for 3 months to do BB, and I don't think anyone (HG or fan) should be judging that. Saying "I would/could not do that (leave my baby for 3 months" is a personal choice and just fine. I'm a mom of 6 (all adopted), my kids are not perfect and my husband and I have made our share of mistakes, and I'm sure Jani and her husband will also do the same as well as doing wonderful things for their kids, same as any other parents.

If Janelle wants to talk about her travels and her possessions I think that is just fine and if the HG's use that against her as game play they are the pathetic ones, but it happens all the time so you take your chances with what you say or don't say in the BB house.

Personally, I think it's nice to hear about other people's travels and experiences. I come from a 5th generation ranching family and our "family vacation" has always been to the California State Fair. The kids showed livestock and competed in rodeo events and that suits us just fine as opposed to going to Hawaii or Europe. We are lucky to work as a family, share as a family and we don't need a lot of "stuff" and we're happy, but if "stuff" is what makes other people happy, that's their business and it's fine with us.

I do kind of object to Janelle being able to continually promote her Mary Kay business (as well as Mike Boogie his restaurant) because the HG's are not allowed to bring "brand products" into the house (the girls were talking about their make-up being an exception because "everything is a brand"). However, production allows this apparently and I didn't feel like spending hours reading 30+ pages of the BB contract, so it is what it is, but I do think it's wrong.

Anyway, all being said and done, this is JUST A GAME, and unlike life several of the HG's have gotten a chance to play it over again and should consider themselves lucky for the chance, especially because they are taking up spots from people who apply and really want the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity (ONCE being the operative word here) to play Big Brother.

Lastly, I think everyone should calm down a little and not get so emotionally wrapped up in these players, make death threats and want them fired. What has Janelle (or any other HG) personally done for YOU or to YOU to deserve your adoration, hatred, judgement or anything else? The game is to be played by the HG's (they knew what they were in for) enjoyed & chatted up by the fans and at the end of the season we go on to Amazing Race, Survivor, the HG's go back to their lives and most people won't even remember half the HG's from this season.

Sorry my 2 cents worth was so long.

If any of the coaches had to win Big Brother (and I suspect one will) I would rather it be Brittany because it will show how utterly ridiculous this idea (1. coaches 2. coaches entering the game) is and maybe Alison will be forced to do something creative with the show next year.

I voted for Ian for my favorite. He will always be my favorite.

It was a toss-up between Janelle and Boggie for least favorite but I voted Janelle because I think Boogie has been a lot more genuine this week.

I might not have heard correctly, however after nominations I thought Dan said to Boogie "that's why 'I' made the nominations I did" or words to the effect that the nom's were his choices!

Last night they made sure Ian was in their alliance and solidified it. He will be safe for a while.

I hope you are correct Marty. I also hope Ian is just waiting to make a big move in the game and win HOH or POV when he needs it.

Take Wil down and replace him with Mike, that way they will both have to fight it out to get the votes to stay. Stinky or Slimmy, which do you want in the house?

I still think it would be funnier to take Wil off and put Janelle up next to Boogie's boy and watch Boogie fight for those votes for Frank! Let him figure that one out without Dr. Will coaching him!

I'm not sure I would agree that giving away the trip and taking the doghouse punishment was the smartest thing to do.

Continually offering to take punishments is not going to get everyone to vote for you.

It seems he is always the coaches target for next week, especially if Boogie can pull off keeping Frank. I hope Ian at least makes Jury.

I like most of the newbie's as far as their diverse personalities and the 'people watching" aspect, no matter what I think of them as people, and I think they would have been interesting as players without the coaches.

It is pretty clear, at least to me, that the coaches are all going to the jury house.

Janelle fans breath easy, Alison won't let her girl get evicted!

As much as I would love to see Janelle get blindsided and sent packing it just is not going to happen.

She was really buying into Boogie's sales pitch last night on After Dark. If she were smart she would have said she would take Wil off and put up Janelle next to Frank and let Boogie pitch the votes then and do her dirty work.

Even if she takes off Frank and puts up Janelle, no way is Janelle going home, because Alison will bring Janelle right back in, so it will be a wasted move and put the bullseye on herself.

I would have to agree with most everything said, especially about needing to get warm and dry and then go support your teammates.

I was liking Frank until what I saw today. Frank needs to wake up and realize he is not coming across well. Frank is not Chilltown, Chilltown was Season 2. It was not funny in All Stars. Mike Boogie is not funny anymore and Frank is not funny.

I try to just enjoy the show, which I think is actually coming down to just watching 3 nights and week, no feeds and no After Dark! Ignorance is bliss with regard to the Big Brother game and what Alison does to manipulate it.

Oh my, Mike Boogie is tres upset. I was over at my sister in laws and we heard all this cussing coming from her son's computer (they have feeds) and she made him turn it off because every other word out of Boogie's mouth starts with F or calling someone a B name.

I read somewhere that CBS gave Willie $20,000 to just go away. Maybe they should give Mike Boogie his stipend and send him out the door.

I can't wait to see Jani and Boogie gone...

That would be wonderful but I don't see that as a "foreseeable circumstance" any time soon, or any of the coaches gone any time soon. I feel that Alison wants a showdown with Janelle, Boogie and the third person who does not count because all the newbie's are basically pawns as the final 3 so that Janelle can get rid of Boogie (a little payback) and win the game.

If the coaches got $20,000 (we all heard it was $10,000) and a shot at $100,000 I don't think a coach in their right mind would want to enter the game except for ego.

Boogie already won (with the help of Dr. Will, Erika being clueless and Janelle not wising up fast enough), he gets to sit around all Summer with no threat of slop, hard beds or cold showers and he had a really great shot at the $100,000 with the team he picked. That sounds like a pretty sweet vacation to me.

I was very impressed with the way Danielle hung in there.

It will be interesting to see who goes on the block since Danielle will have Dan in one ear and the DR in the other telling her what to do..

By process of elimination, I think Danielle will be loyal and keep her word, so I think Shane, Brittany, Ian and Ashley will be safe. She can't stand Janelle, but it would be a total waste to put Janelle up because she will either win POV with or without Alison's help or there will be a pandora power or something which Janelle also will win or be awarded to keep her in the game.

I would venture to guess Joe, Wil, Jenn and maybe Boogie as her choices.

I'm glad Frank got to stay even though it was all rigged. I hope he will wise up, work with Shane and Ian (2 brawn & 1 brain) and not listen to Mike Boogie anymore.

The coaches contract must be pretty interesting because Janelle just about pees her pants whenever she talks about it (or tries to). As often as we catch it on After Dark, I'd love to hear from those with the feeds as to how often she mentions it.

I hope he is safe one more week and has a chance to win an HOH and goes far enough to have the full Big Brother Experience he wants. I would love for him to win but how I am hoping at least he will get America's Player and $25,000.

I feel badly for Shane but they all should have seen it coming if they are fans and watch Big Brother.

The show is so incredibly rigged it is not even worth wasting emotion as a player or a fan and the HG's should know this.

I just want to see some good drama in the house. I don't even care if I remember any of their names

Right after the coaches reset the game my 12 year old nephew said "they might as well give Janelle the $500,000 and let her go home and everyone else can battle for the $50,000 in a fair game". Talk about out of the mouths of babes and almost teens!

I hope Janelle gets to at least oust Mike Boogie.

Frank is there to stay. If he is afraid of deodorant they should hose him down with a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water to kill the stink and the funk. Vinegar is natural and bacteria hates it. I'm sure the other HG's would be grateful, and Alison Grodner should be happy because a gallon of white vinegar is really inexpensive (not that I'm saying she is cheap or anything!)

It's pretty funny that it's a ship! We just dubbed it Alison's Sinking Ship!
