  1. This season I watched the first episode and then BBAD one night and didnt know if I would even tune back in. I was so repulsed by GM being loud, obnoxious & bouncing off the walls like a toddler. The camera seemed to be stuck on Aaryn the majority of the time & again, not impressed. She & Kaitlin were obviously the meangirls. The majority of the females seemed incapable of intelligent or even pleasant conversation...and they were absolutely obsessed with playing with their hair when speaking. Candace looked at everyone like they were insects to be crushed. Judd looked & talked like that freaky kid on Fat Albert, Spencer had a creepy vibe, Elissa's obvious cosmetic enhancements & interactions with others were strange, Jeremy was rude, David appeared dumber than a box of hair, Jessie was clueless, Nick was arrogant, McCrae had no spine, Helen seemed somewhat normal, Amanda was aggressive, Andy was the token gay guy.....

Just another season of BB. But, This group DID take raunchy to a new level so I've enjoyed reading others' views on this forum. But, I also have to say that there are some people on this forum who simply cannot refrain from lecturing others if they say something negative about Elissa! I understand they feel she was the least vile and they are probably right but that doesn't mean that everyone who doesn't like her is evil and in need of a lecture. People get waaaay too intense and/or holier than thou sometimes.

  2. To build up and promote her yoga business that aids in providing for her family? I mean its ok for men to go on long term business trips, why not women?

Orrrrrr, to raise money for her ministry as she has stated many times over and over.

Hmmm. Now, Don't get me wrong, I'm an American capitalist pig & think people should be free to make the most of their opportunities & work to make as much money as they like...but if my husband is loaded & I have an 8 yr old child, How is it not a selfish act to leave him for three months just to have 15 min in hopes of making MORE money? To provide for one's family is admirable and necessary. But if you have two or three homes, I'd have to come to the logical conclusion that they are WELL provided for.

Yes, im probably a dinosaur for still believing that a mother's priority should NATURALLY be to nurture her children above all else, but there it is! I'm a complete sap when it comes to my kids. If I previously home schooled my son & was sending him off to public/private school at the age of 8...and was off on an adventure during that transition, you can bet your sweet patootie that I wouldn't expect anyone to think I had my priorities in order.

What can I say, I'm from a different era I guess. Motherhood isn't glamorous but "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world," for good or bad. Yes, I'm a thousand years old! Lol

  3. Look how long this thread is! Lol, I don't understand why people are so polarized by this woman!

My perception of her is not favorable for several reasons but I couldnt care less if she wins AF.

ANYONE who is willing to go on BB should have their head examined IMO. As a mother, I don't think she committed any embarrassing acts to shame her family but I'm with Marty on putting your kids first. I would never even CONSIDER leaving my 8 yr old child for a selfish adventure. She doesn't need the money so what is her reason for being there? If anyone can come up with an unselfish, NON-narcicistic reason, I'm willing to reconsider my opinion on the subject.

  4. At this point the only really bad ending for me would be if McRae won. If he wins, Amanda wins, and that makes me sick. He is the only one in the house I really can't stand, and it all has to do with his weeks of being lazy and unclean. May be a shallow reason, but that Is how much I detest people that don't shower everyday.

I guess I'm shallow too 'cause I don't want the nose-picking pervert to win. Lol

  5. i don't think Krusty was calling out Marty in a bad way ..in fact Krusty quoted her because what Marty was saying was reasonable and fair..just my take on it i love Krusty and Marty! and i enjoy reading your posts , Wisegal even if i don't always agree . :grin3: the people who think it's ok to bash children are in need of a heart..i wonder how they would feel if it was their child being bashed? :kid::nono:

Edieann, I'm a mother too & completely agree with you about the child bashing. To me, there's nothing funny about ridiculing an innocent child. After GM's remark the other night, I hope she wins NOTHING in this game. She is obviously crazy about her little nephew but she's not a mother yet. Maybe she will "get it" when she has children of her own.

the people who think it's ok to bash children ..they are in need of a heart..

  6. As much as i wish that I've seen the last of Rachel, she is exactly what that lot deserves. I hope it's her. :)

Hahaha! Good point. If she thinks she's a match for GM, she's in for a rude awakening. "GM don't play." Lol. NOTHING is too low for her when going for the jugular. Gutter trash smack down.

  7. I think Andy argument that he flipped on McNasty when he needed too will be seen as a big move in his favor.

Me too, which is why I prefer him to win. He's a world class weasel but I think he's played a very smart game. He used his assets well. Just enough (feigned?) humility, compassion, empathy, wit. No one seemed to notice that he inserted himself in practically every conversation in the house and yet managed to across as genuinely "with" whoever he was talking to at the time. Lol. If Amanda hadn't been so desperate to stay optimistic about Elissa's decision to keep her, she would have picked up on it.

  8. I just try to keep my expectations low so 1) I don't get overly worked up over a tv show and 2) so I can be pleasantly surprised when someone actually behaves like an intelligent, decent human being. I believe it's called a coping mechanism. Anyway, I enjoy the season more if I refrain from picking a favorite & defending everything about them while bashing the others. But that's just ME.

  9. That's a pretty sure bet, but not 100% guaranteed. I think the better bet is that anyone in F2 against Spencer, wins.

Is Andy the only one that realizes that??? That might be Andy's only sure bet, except maybe McCrae.

Here's a thought - how effective will Amanda be in the outcome of the overall vote for the winner if f2 IS Andy & McCrae? Lol. Jessie will have a come apart every time Amanda speaks.

  10. I think Krusty needed to vent. Lol.

Pretty much everyone on this forum realizes how low the majority of the hg's are this year. Most of the posters are equal-opportunity bashers though. Personally, I think it's counter-productive to lecture people about their comments regarding ONE particular hg because you always come off looking like a person who needs to step away, take a deep breath and remember that it's just a tv show. If a person is willing to put his or herself in the BB house, they will be scrutinized to a tee...even your favorite hg.

In addition, to call out Marty specifically was puzzling to say the least. If you read these boards as often as you claim, you would realize that.
