  1. What is the point of Team America if Derrick is trying to get Frankie out, if Derrick and Frankie are consistently throwing Donnie under the bus and Donnie is refusing to do the riskier missions? No point at all! That is why TA was designed for the 3 team members to be America's alliance. They were supposed to work together and protect each other as much as possible. They were supposed to undertake missions that would help to affect the outcome of the game as America wishes. Since there are rewards for the successful completion of the missions, I feel that there should be penalties for back stabbing each other, refusing to undertake missions and failing to complete them. I also feel that all that is expected of them should be spelled out in the first letter so that the HGs could make an informed decision as to whether or not they will accept the challenge. But I have a feeling that if they made this clear in advance, not many HG's would accept the honor of playing for America.
  2. I strongly disagree! The entire TA would have decided who to call out and Frankie and Derrick would not have picked someone from the Detonators. They would have probably picked someone harmless like Jocasta or Victoria to implicate. They would not have had to worry about fallout then. And as far those ladies are concerned, I do not think that their games would have suffered any more than what they do now. Unfortunately, they both are slated for eviction soon according to all the alliances. Realistically, they really have no chance at final 2 so if they go into jury early, it is no big deal. No huge disservice would have been done. And just a one time accusation would have secured the mission, subsequent denials by the ladies would not need to be addressed by the.team. Actually an apology at a later date might have been possible. I feel that the purpose of the TA twist is that America COULD directly impact the game. Otherwise, what is the point? Why would BB need an entire team just to start a silly rumor or some other meaningless prank? No, fans want to see certain people on the block, see certain people voted out, and to live vicariously through the house guests. That is the point of the twist, that is why BB did not have the solo America's player this year. BB needed a team to do things that are not easy, things that are risky, things that would affect the game and the outcome. That is why BB is paying the team $15,000 a mission. I personally feel that the team should have not been allowed to decline a mission. They should not be allowed to pick and choose the easier missions and if they do refuse one, the twist should end.
  3. The way I see it , it is hopeless for Donny, unless Brittany does go home and the 2 HOH twist is over. Then Donny could win HOH and put up Derrick and Cody just like he said he would, but he could only send one of them home. However, it will be open season on Donny as he has to sit out the next HOH. He could get satisfaction for sending one of them home but that is all. His days in the house would be seriously numbered. Now if Donny becomes HOH while the 2 HOH twist is still in effect, Donny's only chance would be that the other HOH is someone not in the Detonators or the old Bomb Squad who would be willing to put up stronger players who could beat Derrick and Cody. Otherwise, Derrick and Cody could win and dethrone Donny, and be safe while Donny could be backdoored. But more than likely, the other HOH's noms would throw the comp to Derrick and Cody so that Donny would be backdoored if he doesn't win the Veto. Donny is not a spring chicken remember. Seriously, how many HOH's and Vetos can he really hope to win before being evicted?
  4. He will find a way to justify staying. No death or funeral will come between him and his half million bucks, I assure you!!
  5. I don't remember seeing the tub and wash board. But my memory is not as sharp as it once was...
  6. I think if they want to be fair they should allow the HGs the religious book of their choice, including the Holy Bible, Torah, Holy Koran, Book of Mormons, Tipitaka or Tao Te Ching .
  7. Before they had washers and dryers didn't they send out their laundry? Or did they just replace their dirty clothes with the new ones from competitions? Remember the luxury comps where they could keep all the clothes they could put on in a given amount of time?
  8. Yes, absolutely, Derrick will work to get rid of Donny. I do not like Derrick , but I have to give credit where credit is due. He is playing this game the way it is supposed to be played. His game play so far rivals Dan Gheesling, don't you think? And the reason Cody refuses to put up Nicole is that she was the only one except, of course, the noms playing for the Veto in the Veto comp. Everyone else was playing for the cash and trips. He told her and his alliance members that he would not put her up because of that.
  9. LOL, Wicked One is so funny. The pic is nice, very sexy. But it seems like he could pull a dozen pairs of socks out of his crotch, just saying!
  10. I am not sure how fair it is that people with health problems get a pass from some of the uncomfortable aspects of the game. Christine has to have a gluten-free diet, could that have anything to do with why her allergies are flaring? So, as I understand it, she can not be a have-not and be forced to eat slop. Frankie has circulation problems and being in the ice room turned his toes blue. So , as I understand it, he was excused from sleeping there. Good thing that the other HGs did not fuss about BB accommodating them, but still I would be pissed if I were a HG and had to endure those things because I was healthy. Seems to me if someone is unable to eat, sleep or perform the same as other HG's, they probably should have not been picked for the show. I don't want to appear uncaring, but they are competing for a half million dollars and no one should get a pass, IMO.. Would they accommodate a blind HG or someone in a wheelchair?
  11. I hate the way she is plotting against Amber. She will live to regret her decision to backstab Amber when her turn comes to go. I doubt that she will make the final 4.
  12. Christine was extremely lucky to have those alliances just fall into her lap. But why was she chosen initially by Devin? She is supposed to be a superfan, but she has very little, if any, input in the group decisions. Derrick appears to be the only one whose strategy counts. But does Christine have allergies that we know about? It is so distracting watching her blow and wipe her nose continuously as she prepares and serves food and wash and dry dishes. I would have a serious problem with all the mucous involved eating anything that she prepared or eating out of any dish that she dried. Maybe she will start playing her game when it gets down to the final 8.
  13. What do we actually know about Team America? Do we know if the TA challenges will last the entire season game? Do we know if one member is evicted will TA continue on? Should there be a penalty for instigating the nomination or voting against a TA member? Should there be a challenge that would have the TA members work to stop the nomination of a member or to save a TA member from eviction?
  14. I personally dislike how Derrick is treating Donny. He is no real threat to Derrick at this point in the game. I could see him supporting someone else's idea to nominate him, but there is no reason why he should continue to throw Donny under the bus. He knows that if Donny does go home, Donny would lose the TA money as well. Donny has does nothing to deserve this treatment by Derrick. Later on in the game if the TA challenges are discontinued, maybe he should go after him then.
  15. Did she pull a house guest pick or just pulled his name out the bag? I was sure Amber told her that she wanted to play for her. Aren't they in a secret girl's alliance? How much trust is that? If it were a HG pick, didn't Brittany talk to Caleb before she chose him about her expectations (in the event she pulled the HG pick)?
  16. Yeah, Donny appears to be trying to start an alliance, but will it be a true alliance? Or will Zach and/or Cody report back to the Detonators everything that Donny says???
  17. I was trying to give the girls the benefit of a doubt, but if they seriously consider Donny so great a threat that they would target him first, then I take back every word I said.
  18. Seems like the powers-that-be decided against backdooring Donny. It looks like Brittany may be on her way out after all. She should probably stop the torture and just try to enjoy her last days there. I would!
  19. I don't know if the girls are stupid so much as they are in a precarious position. They know that most of the guys and a few of the girls are working together. Brittany, Victoria, Jocasta knows that unless one of them win HOH, they will systematically be voted out by the guys. All they can do in this situation is try to develop relationships with as many of the guys as possible so that they can stay in the house as long as possible. But all three know that they have no chance of winning the game and a very small chance of making it to jury . Amber, Brittany and Jocasta seemed to have formed a girls alliance, but unless they win HOH back to back, it is meaningless. It was too little too late. Christine and Nicole knows that they will probably be the last girls in the house, so they have no reason to stick their necks out for the others. The girls problems started when they ignored Joey's idea to form an alliance, but I do not know how stupid that was, under the circumstances. Now, they are merely making the best out of the hand they were dealt. You are not playing stupidly if you are unable to beat your opponent when you have eights and your opponent has aces.
  20. Derrick and the entire team America needs to be pimp slapped for targeting Amber as the physical threat and not one of the guys. Why are they so threatened by her? What manly men they are!
  21. Sorry I do not love Donny. I do think that he is a decent person, though, and I like his down home charm. I really like the fact that he seems relatively honest compared to the others, but he is not a great game player. He stupidly tried to get Nicole to put her best friend on the block. His violation of Nicole's trust was intentional, IMO. He knew she did not want him to tell others. She did say " this is between you and me..." He continues to put unnecessary targets on his back. He desperately needs an alliance other than Team America if he expects to stay in the game. BTW, I wonder how the HG's knew about the Double D's? Did Devin or Donny tell them?
  22. Once again Caleb is talking with alliance members about putting Amber on the block. I doubt if he would do it himself if he were HOH, though. Dang, Caleb is telling Derrick that she may be in a secret alliance with Donny and Brittany. Hell hath no fury...ok, Caleb is not a woman...but you get the point.
