  1. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised that she's doing this now because she thinks that she has another shot with Justin... wasn't it only a few days ago that she melted away because he said something nice about her in the press?

But ya, this was only a matter of time...

  2. While I would love to see Will (bb5) host the show, I think Julie adds an element of class that this show is so desperately lacking. I think too after so many seasons, she's grown on me. It just wouldn't be the same without her.

  3. Granted, we don't know how James is in the real world, but I imagine if he can be this bold knowing millions are watching, I almost shudder to think how he speaks to her when alone. I saw some very sincere moments between them, ones in which were very beautiful... but beauty only lasts for so long, it was definitely killed when he would tell her to "shut the f*ck up" every second and tell her "not to act like such a p*ssy". Some may debate he was under stress thus lacked the calm, I personally feel he lacks the class. Any guy would would be so friggen degrading isn't one worthy to spend time with. He needs to be pushed off his egotistical pedestal ( I am the male model whom women adore and thus can act like an ass), then maybe once he's knocked down to size he'll actually realize the value in all these women. They aren't pretty 'things' to be had, they are people to be cherished.

With regards to Sarah's 'acceptance' of this... we need to bear in mind she's still very immature. She's newly 8 years younger than he is, and has the habit of bad relationships. While she is totally in charge of her own life, capable to make her own decisions with regards to who she'll be with, she clearly lacks the stability... thus making her an easy target, easily someone whom one could take advantage of.

  4. The very same thing happens when a girl says she doesn't find Janelle attractive, then guys assumed it's because she's insecure or jealous.

I really do think, like the many others have said, it all boils down to taste. Everyone's taste varies. I love Kaysar, but love him even more with facial hair. Some girls would disagree and say he looks worse with facial hair... still the same guy, but differing magnitudes of like just by the hair on his face.

To further this, I think what the many Kaysar admires find most sexy in him, really is how he has "something" behind his eyes... if that makes any sense. It's not like you're looking into an empty person, or one who is cold, but with him it's like you can feel his warmth just by looking at him. He's someone comfortable and normal. It's this kind of "humilty" that makes him so damn sexy.. well that... and his friggen gorgeous eyes and smile!

  5. If Eric wins it will sadly justify all the things he's said/done. He'll go on thinking he's perfect, with perfect morals, perfect this and perfect that. The guy needs to be cut down to size, which I know isn't fair given he doesn't have much to spare to begin with. But dear god, can you imagine if he wins how much more pompous he'll be. Please BB, spare us!

  6. It just dawned on me, how would Marvin feel if it were him on the receiving end of racial slurs from Ivette? Would CBS step in because it would throw Marv over the edge, for sure. I think part of it, is that Kaysar knows it's happening, but is being too complaisant about it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying her provoking a response from him should be what causes cbs to step in, they should regardless. I'm just bringing to light the fact that such would never have gone on for as long as it has if it were someone like Marvin receiving them. Hell friggen no!

  7. One's words can be a form of verbal attack, especially when they are as blatantly discriminatory as Ivette's. I think she should be given a 3 warning minimum, after which she should be asked to leave. Otherwise CBS is encouraging her to just continue on. There has to be some sort of consequence for that, or at least I would hope there would be. She's not telling him off because he's an idiot or what have you. She's specifically targetting his culture. I wonder how impressed the Muslim population is at witnessing this? Also, this concept of freedom that people seem to be arguing over on this thread works both ways. Does Kaysar not have the right to be treated equally as an American citizen, free from discrimination as his other fellow housemates? Seriously, this is an issue that CBS needs to address. Disagree with eachother all you want, but neither side nor individual should be allowed to conduct themselves in such a manner. Frig, I wonder how long CBS would have tolerated someone in the house if they were calling people the "n" words here or there? I know for a fact it wouldn't fly with CBS, so why is it being promoted when it's someone of Muslim descent. To further this, not only is not bieng dealt with, it's being hidden. My gosh, they still continue to portray Ivette as some innocent, sweet girl. It's sickening.

  8. Wow, this thread has really changed it's course! With regards to childbearing, I'm all for surrogacy, but would hope that with the many children who already exist, and are in need of a loving family, that those who cannot bear their own children (and really even those who can), would turn to adoption. For anyone against this idea because of their own homophobic ideologies, I can't stress enough how it is better for these children to be with one loving family, than with none at all. I would ask that you please put your own fears, because really that's what it is, aside, and think of them.

To anyone else, remember where you live and what that stands for. We're all blessed enough to live in a free country, to speak, do, feel, and live as we may. We're so quick to slander those countries wherein dictatorship lies, yet in the next instance we critize eachother for freedoms that others are literally dying to have. I'm so tired of all the b*tching, honestly. Who cares what others feel and do, are they seriously hurting you? Are you bleeding? Dying? No! then chill the freak down and relax already. You live your life, and don't knock anyone else for living theirs. You're not them, you don't know what they've gone through that lead them to where they are... who they are, and really, it might have just has easily been you. With that, there are so many other "causes" that you can be giving voice to, ones wherein there are children or people in need, why not use your energy towards that?

Lastly, love is supposed to be a beautiful thing. Having a family is supposed to be a blessing. Why deny that or speak against that, of another? Why make it something that only a select few should be able to have? God made us equal, why does man have to continue to be so ignorant that they continually create inequality? It really is just sad.

  9. I agree Marcellas. As a fat girl though I can relate. When we talk about our sexuality ppl usually chime in and say it's gross (ie, if Rosanne were to talk about who she would "do" guys would be all over her saying how sick of a thought that is.... if it were Carmen Electra saying who she would "do", no guy would have a problem). It seems to me that unless you're a skinny female talking about who you would do (male or another female), it just isn't sexy. It's almost as though we're in a sub human group all of our own. It's too bad we're such a visual society (I say this as an absolute hypocrite, just look at my avatar) that we automatically see the surface of people in everything they speak or suggest, that we can't just accept them as fellow humans, each with the same wants/desires.

  10. I wonder if people would be just as upset if it were a girl saying which other girl she would like to do? Probably not, as often on this site alone the thought of Sarah and Janelle "getting it on" has been mentioned and favoured. We tolerate so much from eachother, but the moment a male says something about another male, people shrink back. it's pretty sad and hypocritical. It brings to light though how a woman's homosexuality is more accepted than a males. When it's women, it's sexy... when it's men, it's sick. That double standard makes me sick.

Personally Marcellas, I'd like to see you get it on with Will from last year. =P

  11. Kahlil Gibran, I love all his writings. He has a romantic, pure soul and I love how he appreciated and found beauty in all life. He was very out spoken about man's greed and the various injusitces that were presented before him. To be so at that time was very brave, but just one example at how much he loved and regarded life and simplicity.

  12. lol, there's my msg, thanks Jem. I was wondering where it went to!

Holy frig, that really was the greatest Housecalls ever! I was so impressed with the way Marcellas didn't back down. Terrific questions, all the ones vital in calling Eric out. I loved when the guy did bring up the whole sportsmanship thing, then when Marcellas asks, "so staring players down is good sportsmanship... you don't find that a bit childish" or something to that effect. It's funny how drastically different this interview was compared to Julie's. Julie needs to lose her job and give it to Marcellas, or William/Marvin... we need to see them back on tv. Julie's far too serious for big brother. I don't even think she watches the show. Anyhow, kudos to you Marc, you were terrific. I even liked Gretchen today!

I imagine it should be by tonight. Especially given it's popularity. All I can say is that you need to have things ready (soft things) to throw at your computer screen. Seriously, it's THAT good!

  13. I saw it, it was awesome! I even posted a thank you to Marcellas, but it looks as though it was deleted for some reason. Anyhow, it was fabulous! Marcellas called Eric out on almost everything... as much as time would allow for. Every time Eric would try to explain his way out of it with his "moral and values", Marcellas would turn his own words against him. At one point it got so heated that Gretchen had to calm Marcellas down. You NEED to watch it, if for no other reason a good friggen laugh. Marcellas did a terrific job! It was great! Also, when they show his pre-show interview, you get to hear how amazing Eric thinks he is which is hilarious because every time he says something about himself, you automatically picture something he's done in the house that would object to that. Very funny! Finally he's portrayed for who he really is. Marcellas said something that was key though after Eric left, " I just tried to make him see, just see how he really is. I don't think he sees it, he's in denial". Then Gretchen later went on to say that "only someone whose in that much denial must be crazy". They both agreed it was amazing that he past the psych test...LOL

  14. "O.J. Slammed for Satellite-TV Swiping

Wed Jul 27, 7:01 PM ET

Next time maybe O.J. Simpson should call the cable guy.

A federal judge in Miami on Tuesday ordered the former football great to pony up $25,000 in damages to DirecTV after allegedly pirating satellite TV signals.

The satellite-TV provider sued Simpson in March 2004, accusing him of piracy after government agents raided his Miami mansion in 2001 and turned up "bootloaders," illicit devices used to unscramble DirecTV's satellite signals.

At the time, the feds were investigating an ecstasy, money-laundering and satellite-theft ring. Simpson was never charged in relation to the probe.

After DirecTV filed suit, his attorney, Yale Galanter, claimed that, despite being a long-time paying customer, the Juice was being squeezed by the company.

On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Joan Lenard found in favor of DirecTV, and Galanter vowed to appeal on the grounds that Simpson didn't get a fair hearing. "

Anyhow, all I have to say is this, at least he wasn't found guilty of murder! Seriously OJ, don't push your luck! In the mean time, the next time you contemplate stealing cable or anything else for that matter, why don't you just break out your handy dandy magic gloves... they sure seemed to help you last time.

  15. 6) Eric, what do you think of that all boy alliance now? Where did you fit Maggie into that equation (unless that's the big summer secret)?

    7) OK, I know what your response will be to the whole, "how many days is a week if not 7?"... I know you meant the duration of Kaysar's hoh reign should that come to be, which it did... BUT... when does a contract, even if it be a verbal one, become null and void should party A (that's you Eric) not hold up to his part of the agreemet. Yes, I know, you didn't put up Kaysar, but you did however breech your agreement with regards to that said all boy alliance. Why was it ok when you did it, but not Kaysar?

    8) Eric, how does it feel to have the linch mob on the other foot?

  16. 1) Why confront Micheal about the unwanted sexual advances, and not Howie?

    2) Does he really believe the things he says? Is he aware of his lies/hypocrisy or was he really that oblivious?

    3) How long is a week exactly (if not like the 7 days that elapsed before Kaysar put him on the block)?

    4) If it truly was just a game, why be so offended and childish?

    5) Please say hello to Micheal for us.

  17. We were talking about this last night in chat, and noticed the mta 317 thing could mean that there are 3 17's... 17 seas, Howie said there were 17 coasters, and now one of you posters just mentioned something about 17 signs? or something like that?
