  1. I think it's pretty much a guarantee that this will be the last season we hear any real bigotry on the feeds. Every future HG will know and continue to talk about what happened to these HG's for seasons to come, if the show even continues. Season 15 will always be marked as the season of racism.
  2. I like that CBS exposed Aryan and I hope they expose the others. As for them losing their jobs, there are consequences for their horrendous words. I've owned a couple of businesses and if one of my employees got on a tv show and said those things, I'd fire them in a heartbeat. I wouldn't want them associated with my business, hurting my livelihood. I would think that most business owners would feel the same.
  3. Amen. I think Elissa is completely out of her element and struggling to figure out what she's supposed to do. She's not the gamer Rachel was. (But still, I like her far more than Rachel.) Her MVP moves this week are the cause of her impending demise. She didn't make those moves on her own, but she should have made her own moves. Helen (at Andy's urging) was the one who told her to put up Jeremy and she obeyed. That was stupid. Then again, her small alliance urged her to put up Nick when Andy had the knowledge firsthand that Aryan wanted to get rid of Kaitlin. Elissa's survival this week would have been easy-peasy if Andy had told her what he knew and to put up Kaitlin. Elissa doesn't know the game that well, imo, and she has simply tried to hang in by obeying what others have advised. I'll hate to see her go simply because that's what the eew crew and the MC want. (I hate the MC alliance. Another Brigade is too predictable.)
  4. Wow. She's unbelievable. I didn't watch the feeds much yesterday but I read where Aryan's turned this whole Candice thing around and made herself out to be the victim...because she has blonde hair and blue eyes. The little bit I did watch yesterday, I heard GM once again use the N word and she said something else racist but I can't remember what. (It happens so often now, I can't keep up with all the racist comments.)
  5. Lol. I don't look for frogs. That's kind of gross. I was talking about Judd's interview where he described spending spring/summer at the lake. My lake experiences consist of fishing, boating, skiing, swimming, grilling out and spending time with friends and/or fam. I don't live out in the boonies either. There's a huge mall and various restaurants directly across the road from my neighborhood, 2 minutes from my house. There's also acres of wooded areas and a choice of lakes within a 10-40 mile radius, a couple of resort parks within a short distance and the Ohio River is 10 minutes away. We take advantage of these things because we enjoy them. I do like modern day conveniences but I also like being in the country and the nature that goes along with it. All my extended family knows how to grow and preserve food, hunt, fish, etc. We know how to live off the land if we have to. I'll be picking fresh veggies tomorrow in my back yard. It's pretty cool, imo. I wouldn't live in the fast-paced city for any amount of money. I've already done that and didn't like it for long. I like to stop and smell my roses too much, grown in my garden.
  6. She befriended Elissa, simple as that. Not to mention, she's not white.
  7. I like the MVP twist. It changes the dynamic of the game, which is what we needed. It should make all the hg's consider that they could be on the block next week and do some serious butt kissing. It also gives us a voice so the HG's finally know (to some extent) what we, as viewers, think. They could use this as an asset if they were smart. Helen seems to know this and has convinced Andy and Amanda of the same.
  8. Did anyone see Aryan and Jessie talking in the hoh last night about Amanda? They were discussing whether or not Amanda has money and Jessie said (not verbatim), "Of course she has money. She's a JEW! Have you ever known a Jew who doesn't have money?" They just dig the hole deeper and deeper.
  9. They didn't do anything to Jeremy for his disgusting action except make him apologize, insincerely I might add. I wonder if they'll make Spencer apologize. If I were Elissa's dh, I'd insist she be freed from those people immediately.
  10. Like I said, I didn't hear the comment Aryan made but I did later hear Howard ask Candice if she heard the fish comment.
  11. I wonder, if Aryan gets evicted before jury, if Julie will say anything to her about her bigotry (since it's been exposed by CBS nationally). I know she won't if A's evicted after jury starts.
  12. Agree Slim. I think Elissa's so out of her element, she doesn't know how to communicate with those people at all. I wish they would vote her out this week, for her own sake. There's no possible way she's going to win this game so why go through the torture? I do agree also that she's very pretty. Much prettier than Rachel and way nicer. But Rachel made for good tv, I guess. She kept some entertained apparently. (I have to say, I was glad that Rachel beat Porsche. I thought Rachel was far more deserving than her.) She apparently told Helen yesterday that while going thru the "process," production had told Rachel that they were considering other past BB HG's family members too (specifically, someone related to Dr. Will). Since Helen told this to others, I keep looking at Nick and wondering if he's Dr. Will's nephew or something. Lol. Do you mean that Elissa doesn't have a biological son of her own?? (being a step-mom doesn't make one less of a mom, imo) But, she was talking about when she was in labor yesterday. Maybe she's been with the Slater man for years but they didn't get married until last year.
  13. I live in one of those hillbilly, redneck states and yes, there are SOME, usually very FEW, who stick out like a sore thumb. There are some who are bad and some who are products of their underprivileged upbringing who can't seem to break free but most are very good people. I've traveled around the nation though and found this to be true everywhere. There are "backwoods" country folk in the NE, Midwest and western states too. I can tell you firsthand, these people are kind-hearted (for the most part) and will stand by one another through thick and thin. They help their neighbors, kinfolk or not, and they also offer a helping hand to anyone else who needs it. They don't know the meaning of the word "stranger." If this nation ever went under, you can bet your butt I'd be aligning myself with a lot of country folk who know how to survive. Ten generations living within ten miles of one another would come in handy. (I, personally, only have parts of one/two generations living within a 20 mile radius but I wish there were more.) You are, imo, in a very small group yourself, judging an entire demographic as all being exactly the same, who are far beneath you apparently. Being country doesn't mean we are stupid or uneducated and it certainly doesn't mean we're bad. I've met plenty of educated people who (in country speak) "don't have a lick of sense and are dumber than a box of rocks." I've also known highly-educated people whom I wouldn't classify as "good" people at all. Now I think I'll go dig out my camo pants (from Victoria's Secret) and proudly stick out today. I'm kind of partial to camo, hunting boots and tank tops sometimes. I might go to the shooting range with my AR-15. Yep, I'm country through and through and can totally relate to Judd's idea of a good time at the lake.
  14. thanks for posting. Well that explains why Amanda told Jeremy and Aryan the other day that neither of them would ever be MVP. She told them America would never vote for either of them because Jermey is being portrayed as too cocky and Aryan is portrayed as a b!tch. Jermey asked her how she knew this and she said she knew by the questions that were asked in the DR. hmmmm. Ever since Amanda told Aryan that, she's been trying to act nicer. Too late but maybe a light bulb came on in her very dim brain.
  15. They already knew. They've talked about it. Elissa has told them too that Aryan makes bigoted remarks all the time. A few days ago, Aryan apparently made a fish comment (I didn't hear it but heard about it in chat) where she said something like "the black fish need to stay at the bottom of the tank." She said it in front of Howard and Candice. My guess would be that Howard brought it up in the DR. He's having a hard time keeping his mouth shut about about the blatant racism. As for Aryan getting a pass, it's never going to happen now. No modeling agency would touch her and a tv career is out of the question. Maybe if it were a one-time thing but not one remark after another. That's what's wrong with people now, imo, handing out passes for bad behavior and the bad behavior continues. There's consequences for actions, or there should be. Aryan wasn't stupid about the BB live feeds so she asked for it. (She's just stupid in general, imo.) Someone said in chat a few days ago, "Her parents must be so horrified." Why? It's a learned behavior. Where do we think she learned it from? She's said again and again that she's just like her mother. Maybe this will start a new trend in the raising of the Gries children, hopefully.
  16. Maybe Aryan can move to Cali and train to be a lifeguard too!
  17. On the show. CBS did a whole montage on Aryan's bigoted remarks.
  18. It was awesome. I literally applauded.
  19. Howard confuses me totally. Early yesterday, he had a big prayer session with Elissa, then in the afternoon, after Candice blabbed her mouth to him, he went straight to Aryan and ratted out the Helen/Andy/Elissa/Howard/Spencer/McCrae/Amanda alliance (acting like he's a mole for the beiber clan or something) and he lied about Elissa, saying she started all the crap in the house. ??? I just don't get him. He was running to everyone telling everything he knew for a little bit. He'd better be careful. They'll all talk and put things together.
  20. I was never a Rachel fan and I've voted for Elissa. The chats I've been in have many people stating the same. I think, collectively, it's not a vote for Rachel's sister as much as it's a vote against the racists/bullies.
  21. Helen is being smart regarding the mvp. If Elissa goes, Helen will be the next mvp for sure. Good move on her part. When she gets it (because Elissa will likely be voted out this week) she needs to keep her mouth shut about it. I doubt she will though because there are some VERY accomplished liars in the men this season.
  22. Zackly... Helen is smart enough to realize that America sees what's going on from all angles and that's being reflected with their mvp vote. The rest of them are so self-absorbed, they refuse to see that.
  23. I'm suddenly getting bored with this season, having flashbacks of the brigade steamrolling thru the house. If one of the MC doesn't betray the MC, it's going to be a very predictable summer.
  24. Yes. The MVP gets to replace their own nominee.
