While I was waiting for the feeds to come back on, I was reading some of the tweets. There was one with a very short clip of Josh and Paul in the HoH talking about the first golden apple. Josh says something about taking the apple and Paul comes halfway across the bed towards him and says, "You know that was put there for me, right? Right?" And then a woman's voice says, "I guess he knows now."

Welcome to the Paul Show, HGs. Leave your backbones and brains at the door, please.

And Josh is too stupid to tell the others how production is helping Paul to win.  Or do they already know?  Was it made clear at the first?

WHAT was the point of tonight's special broadcast?  I first expected it to be a special eviction to goad these idiots into action but no such luck.  Then I heard it was Derrick coming for a visit.  I would have wanted him to have one on ones with them to tell them how incredibly stupid and ignorant they are about their game or at least a Q&A with him giving hints about what they are doing wrong.  But NO we get to re-live  all the nonsense and yelling and bullying and what's been discussed and rehashed ad nauseum from the beginning that we are all trying to forget, especially Josh's circus acts!!  OMG if CBS is hoping for a rise in ratings this one probably dropped them a few more notches.

You couldn't be more right.  I wanted a special eviction and for it to be Paul, Alex or Christmas.

the one thing I really liked about Cody was him walking on the mirrored coffee table and out the door without any good byes to those people he so dislikes.

I liked that also.  Then when Elena left everyone kissed her like she was their best friend.  Made me want to puke.  And when Jason told Mark and Elena he wanted to hang out after the game he was just trying to get their vote in jury.  I would have told him (on the way out) that I never wanted to see him again.

Were they all too afraid to pick Paul or was it they were just trying to make him win. If he would not have been forced to take a shot in shuffleboard, he would have been HOH by default. Just a spineless bunch.

I kept screaming at my TV, "Pick Paul, pick Paul you idiot!".  Mark should have picked Paul and Christmas every time he had a chance.  One of them would have had to go out.  Was production's hand in this again?  I thought Mark was smarter than that.

  5. Oh how I wish Cody could stay tonight but I don't guess that is going to happen.  Next best thing is Mark winning HOH and putting up Paul and Christmas and back dooring Alex or putting up those three in any order.  Then one of the three would be gone and maybe the others will start to think for themselves.  I can't imagine what Matt and Raven are thinking will happen after Mark and Elena leave.  It seems like they are just forgetting who is running the house and is likely to win the big money.

If it is true that he makes double the stipend of the rest of the cast, it makes me wonder if the 3 week immunity was also part of his bonus for gracing the show with his divine presence. There would be no way his ego could handle going into the house and then being tossed right back out again by a bunch of newbies. His was the only one that wasn't one use only.

This act by production just burns my ass.  Why did they think Paul would become America's favorite or whatever they thought to get him to come back with all the benefits?

She'd probably expect them to make allowances for her the way they do on BB.  She loves that special treatment.  That immunity from being a have-not for the entire summer was very convenient.

And thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers for my friend.

It's not fair to the other players if she gets to skip being a have-not.  Same with Christmas.  She should have been booted off when she got hurt.  If she stayed she should have had to do everything everyone else had to do.  Of course she couldn't so she should have been booted.

  8. According to the info about the stipend the HG get, Paul is getting twice as much as the other players.  That burns my behind.  I can't stand him anyway, and to learn he is getting more than the others is the last straw.  Why couldn't production leave their hands out of the pot.  This could have been much more interesting if he wasn't there to run the show.

Also, Christmas does nothing but start trouble and then sit back and laugh at the fights as they happen.  I dislike her almost as much as Paul and Alex is a close third.  I even like Josh more than most of the others.  He has his mean times but then other times he tries to play nicely.  But it may be because he isn't the smartest tack in the box.

So for sure the producers are running the show again and this season is the MOST apparent it's ever been! I agree it's probably the hardest time yet I've had forcing myself to keep tuning in. But being the super fan that I am I keep watching! It seems each season gets just a little bit harder than the last to watch. Really sucks for me because Paul is the reason I hated last season so much and this season my stomach is actually turning. As Cody said this is the "Paul" show and in seasons past the producers would try to make it look like someone else had a chance to win but if the vote goes down like they are portraying it will no one else has a chance anymore. The coup would have to happen on this eviction or the numbers will not be able to be equal enough to stop Paul from running the whole thing. I don't understand how superfan Alex doesn't see through Paul and realize that Jason is not going to be protected by Paul and therefore her game is not safe with him as leader. It's quite obvious that Christmas is going to the end since she can't compete physically so does Alex really think she has a spot before Maven with Paul? Anyone with half a brain would realize he would keep those two together over keeping a single competitor that could actually beat him in the end. These people are being portrayed as just the flock for LORD Paul ( like someone called him). I know Kevin and Jason see the writing on the wall so it's dumbfounding that she doesn't. Christmas told meatball to think for himself so she sees the writing as well but her loyalty to anyone doesn't matter since she knows she's gonna be in the last three. BUT if producers really wanted to make the show more palatable they would have Christmas defect now while it will actually matter and give us viewers something we can actually stomach to watch. Am I right people? This way Kevin, Mark, Jason and Christmas (with Alex tie breaker) could save Cody and change the power. Of course that's not happening though since they brought Paul back this season to give him the money! Just throwing my two cents in. Not trying to offend anyone. Just hoping others agree with me.

I do agree with you.  I can't stand Christmas and Alex but if they would only band together and get rid of Paul one of them might stand a chance of winning.  Otherwise Paul will probably come in first AND second.

I agree.  There are 7 people (I think) voting this week and they ALL can benefit by keeping Cody in the house and voting out Elena (or Matt).  Since Matt used the veto on Jason, which leaves Matt still on the block, they could rationalize voting out Matt who really adds nothing (same for Elena).

The key is to blindside Paul and Christmas (their 5 votes against 2).  Those not voting Cody out -- Raven, Josh, Jason, Kevin, and Mark.  Mark needs to sell them on the idea that breaking with Paul and Christmas at this point (and Alex) means they have the numbers and can now pick off three players who so far have been running things. This would be a real turning point in the game.

Oh WOW!  I sure wish the herd would do what you have suggested.  I am about at the point where I am ready to watch another program (like Gator Man or something) just because I want to throw something at the TV when BB is on.  All I can do is yell, "STUPID" over and over.  I can't stand Paul, Christmas and Alex and wish they would have a triple eviction night and for them pack their bags.

Ultimate punishment:  being tethered to Paul for 48 hours.  OMG they deserve each other lol.  Alex's punishment is extreme but I think having to kick a soccer ball into a net 2400 times in 24 hours was a little more painful.  The only thing worse is that Alex has to do this all week.  That's a little much really.  She must really have it in for Elena now but as usual Paul is in everybody's ear about not deviating from the plan that Cody is going out this week.  At lease for 48 hours he can't negotiate those stairs with Xmas to get up to the HOH room.

Best 48 hours of the show yet.  Maybe they will all get together and decide to vote out Paul when he isn't in the HOH room to make the rules.

Many of them had advantages just didn't use them better to benefit them. Jess surely could have used that halting hex but she chose to use it differently. She also could have saved Ramses and perhaps gained another ally. Egos get in the way and it will probably ruin Paul at some point. But I do think if he makes it to F2 he will win.

Yes, there were several advantages but none were as good as Paul's.  He got three weeks of safety and everyone only got one use of their advantage.  Cards are definitely stacked in Paul's favor and I am so mad about that.  Production is interfering too much.  Why Paul??  Why not one of the others?

I think he picked up the pan after Jessica tried to escape outside.  I could be wrong.

The thing is, he had decided he wasn't going to do that anymore, but changed his mind again after the outrageous bullying by Jessica and Cody.  I don't think it was unfair for him to take the gloves off after some of the things they said to him.  It's very personal to call someone a "fat ass".  Josh never got personal like that, as I remember.  Jessica has an ugly soul.  And Cody followed right along to protect "his woman".

You are right.  Cody and Jessica were very mean and it may have cost Jessica the chance to continue in the game.  But even though Josh wanted Elena out I don't think the sheep would have voted that way if Paul made it clear he wanted Jessica out.  Why oh why can't the HG see how Paul is running the show?

I'm going to guess you missed where Jessica instigated the last "circus act" with her attempts to paint Josh as stupid, and also her ridiculous spoon banging temper tantrum.

The thing is, Josh is a college graduate.  Jessica is a college dropout who has decided that she should use her body to get ahead in life.  She was reportedly a well-known escort in Boston.  And if you haven't done so, take a look at her Instagram page (which she's probably deleting because she doesn't want Cody seeing it - her words).

Jessica continually misused "big words" in her attempts to look intelligent, yet tried to stump Josh with her spelling quiz.  She just showed herself to look ignorant in the process.

Personally, I won't miss the sound of Jessica's voice and that ridiculous laugh.  As an escort, she probably "fake laughs" a lot.  As far as Josh's "persona", it's likely cultural.  People with open minds aren't irritated by cultural differences.  I find those differences interesting and entertaining.

I consider myself to have an open mind but I also don't think the way Josh is acting is because of his culture.  He is just a baby and a hothead.  You are right about Jessica though.  I doubt she is as smart as she thinks she is.  BTW, didn't Josh start banging the pan or his hands on the counter (don't remember which) before Jessica picked up the spoon?

First off, I don't like vets coming back. In this case, I don't think you would have had so many sheep if CBS would have bought other vets to be a counter voice to Paul. If Paul wasn't there, I think it would be a much different game with more people actually trying to play and strategize. But, since Paul is the only vet, he has a strong personality, plus, he was made untouchable during the early and most formative part of the game, he was able to establish himself as the boss.

Winning the three weeks of safety was SO obvious that production was pulling for him.  If someone else had won they would have only gotten one week of safety.  Everyone else's temptations were for one time only, even though Jessica tried to convince everyone otherwise.

  16. 21 minutes ago, Aldrich said:

Seems that way.  And as most of us agree that it seemed a set up then probably was, we can't all be wrong.  After Cody is evicted I won't watch anymore.  After seeing the celebration last night when Alex won and Jess was out, well it was sickening, and sad.  Yes, Paul will win and too many special breaks were given to him.  What else could it have been?  So disappointed in CBS/BB.  It used to be fun to watch the interaction and scheming of individuals trying to win $500,000.  This season we watched The Paul Show and how a once exciting program has been ruined.  Someone should be fired/replaced for scheming this season.

YES!!  CBS & BB need to clean house in production for this huge  mistake.  Although who could have guess that most all of the HG would be sheep.  And Paul quickly got rid of those who had an inkling of what was going on.  Personally I think he is getting help from production big time.  He does not appear that smart to me.

He'll sulk all week. If they all know best they should evict him as soon as they can. He will never play nice with them and will want revenge.

I hope he is in power to get that revenge.  Not that I like him so much but because I dislike the others so much.  I am not sure he will stay in jury.  I can't see him putting up with being the outcast for so long.  He may just walk.

  18. 8 hours ago, Lamasquerade said:

That's what I saw too and wonder if I'm watching something different than what other people watch. Jess and Cody have no one to blame but themselves. Sex was more important than winning until they have one foot out the door.

As much as I wanted Jessica to stay in the house I have to agree she is out of the game by her own hand.  I wish she could have kept her mouth shut so we could see what happened at eviction.  I'm sure Josh couldn't have gotten the support he needed to get Eleana out with King Paul disagreeing with his choice.

Elena and Mark will be really unhappy if they are the "pawns" again and hopefully will finally realize their true status in the house. Cody has two chances this week to stay, temptation and veto. If he ends up safe, who will be the sacrifice?

I want SO much for Cody to win safety and then we will see who the house turns on next.  I wish they could get 6 out at once.  Paul, Alex, Christmas, Raven, Matt, & Josh.

  20. 9 hours ago, carmen said:

And just when I didn't think she could get any meaner, she showed she was meaner.

When Cody & Jess were fighting everyone came running in to stick their nose in.  After Josh started banging the pans again she actually started jumping up and down in delight that Jody was being mistreated again.  I liked her at first and now she is someone I want out right after Paul.

  21. 14 minutes ago, HeleneL said:

Go Cody!!!  When Jessica goes I hope he wipes the floor with them all starting with Paul, followed by Josh, Xmas and Alex.  I think maybe Mark and Kevin might align with him.  They need to get the deadwood out like Matt, Raven and Elena.  I'm still not sure about Jason.  He's redundant to me.  But then that's just my opinion.

I agree 100% with your statement.  I love the order you have chosen to get rid of the players, but I might be willing to put Josh at the end of that first list   I'm not at all happy with Christmas and Alex.  I would like to see Josh make some decisions without Paul and Christmas in his ear.

  22. 23 minutes ago, HeleneL said:

Might have something to do with the article I read from a link posted by a LFU a few days ago.  The reporter was saying how disgusted people were with Josh and Paul's behavior and wanted CBS to step up and kick them both out of the house.

I wish they had kicked them both out.  I would love to see the look on Paul's face as they were escorting him out the door.
